I have a dream that one day, in the Red Hills of Georgia, the children of former slaves and the children of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of the Brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering in the heat of injustice, sweltering in the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis. of freedom and justice I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character I have a dream today I have a dream that one The day when children and black girls will be able to join hands with white boys and girls as sisters and brothers.

With this faith we will be able to work together to pray together. fight together go to jail together defend freedom together knowing that one day we will be free this will be the day when all the children of God will be able to sing with a new meaning my country is yours, sweet land of freedom yours I sing the land where my friends died parents, the land of Pilgrims' Pride from every mountainside. Let freedom ring and if America is going to be a great nation this must be true so let freedom ring from the tops of the Prejudice hills of New Hampshire.

Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York Let freedom ring from the rising alehans of Pennsylvania Let freedom ring from the snowy Rocky Mountains of Colorado Let freedom ring from the curvy slopes of California, but not only that Let freedom ring from Georgia's Stone Mountain Let freedom ring from Tennessee's Lookout Mountain Let freedom ring from every hill and mole of Mississippi from every hillside Let freedom ring and when it happens, when we let it ring freedom, when we let it ring from every town, in every village, from every state and every city, we will be able to hasten that day when all the children of God, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able join hands and sing the words of the old spiritual black, free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, we are free at last.
