SnowRunner Fleetstar F2070A Gameplay And Review

Apr 10, 2024
How's it going guys, I'm Mr. Lone Wolf and I finally have the Fleet Star f 2070? A

review

, we'll just call it Fleet Star. Yes, I've been giving it a good test. We'll see how it works. Come on, we'll be stuck in it, so first there's the engine. The two below basically have the same power and weight. They don't seem to change any of the stats, but I'm going with the bottom one, at least. It's in the stats, it's power-to-weight, which is good. I'm going for the high range gearbox and as for the suspension, it actually raises it a little bit, not a crazy amount but some of the trucks you know they barely make. some difference while that one makes a little bit as far as the wheels uh the biggest ones are like 45 inches which isn't the worst but yeah it definitely is I mean the taiga is 51 um kind of dolphin like a bigger truck anyway, but that one is 50 I think, but yeah, I think the step was 43, so it's not the worst.

The winch obviously got the advanced medium. The differential lock I think I just had it on anyway. I don't even think I can unequip it. The spare tire is on. the chassis and again I'll remove it normally because I don't really like it being there, as for the snorkel, it doesn't go all the way to the roof, but it's about halfway up, obviously we'll do a water test on it later. I have all-wheel drive, like rear-wheel drive, engageable all-wheel drive, it actually changes the axle and the only one that doesn't is the GMC right now because obviously they added it like a little bit of Later when they decided to add it, maybe they modified it so that have a proper front axle soon as for all the accessories you can add you can have everything except the seismic module vibrator you can have a crane, a sideboard. and a trailer too, which is nice, it's like there are some trips where you can do that, but not many.

The fenders I can't take off, I wish I could but it won't let me do it, as for the roof there's just that beacon you can put on the top in the middle there are no fog lights or anything other than the end of the world because , especially, you can change the time of day without any penalty, but still, as for the bumpers, that is the original one, which I think is the best thing, though, that it is a little bit worse, but it has some fog lights on which are a lot worse and it's basically the same as the original, but lower, like it's practically in the same place, yeah, just lower so you can see the The difference between the two of them is that one is definitely a little bit lower although it is also a little tilted, but it has two fog lights in the front that I tried.

I don't know, I'll show you in a minute, but no. Sure if it doesn't make much difference, it seems like when you have fog lights it makes the color of the light more pure white and more of a yellow tint, but anyway as far as all the add-ons and things, we have things like windshields. cockpit, speakers, uh, the sun visors, nothing crazy really and then as for the exhaust, I had actually had one with heat shield the entire time, however I just realized the original one is only on a side of the cabin and now it's not blocking my view behind me for the interior view so I put the original one back on but I like the heat shield ones and then all the alloys that you have, I think they all give you the option of having and then as for the colors it looks pretty good in black im not too sure about the gray it looks pretty good and the white reminds me a little bit of the cargo style at the time and it looked pretty good and the white tones They go out like the bow.

It's great, that color was fine, especially for the age of the truck, I like the red and black the most, but I wish the blue was a little more vibrant. I like the same, but I wish the color was a little more vibrant. The green was a little bit more vibrant and then yeah, it's just the choice between those two. I prefer the brighter red that looks so yeah, a little bit more faded and older so yeah, we'll take a look outside. A little look around the bay. I still like the look. I like the old school trucks in this game.
As for the rain, I can't remove the fenders, but at least they sit pretty nice and high and then inside it looks like. pretty typical old school American cabaret type, I guess I like that the mirror is a pretty decent size and I can see really well out the back, the only thing again is those fenders or fenders, I think that's what I can see . The mirror is not the actual tire, it is the same on that side, but when I look forward I can still see the corner, but again with the fenders or guards there, yes I can see the entire garage door behind me, although I still I can see my wheels. like under the mud flap, so if I wanted to know what they were doing, I could tell, overall, not bad, I'd say yeah, okay, it'll do, it's not terrible and then after the rebels.
I was very happy that the air goes up quite quickly, it reaches about two and a half thousand, I think it did and yes, it comes very well, which is certainly what I prefer, that's what she said, to take it somewhere, um, yeah, so we'll see. on the trailer too when you're taking the light off obviously the high range gearbox is quite nice when you put it on high and then sometimes I just put it back to auto on all the trailers although they actually feel Pretty nice and tall, especially for a truck that's basically parked outside this garage when you first find it, even without a tall trailer, it's really just like the rubber on the tires and even the alloys on the trailer don't reach the ground. , so yeah, to be fair, it's a pretty decent ground clearance. and then just a quick one, like I say, the tow truck, the sideboard and the trailer, and I made it as tight as I could, it actually makes the corner or corner even tighter when you have the trailer on, but yeah, you can to have everything. three, so it's a good option, so going there it slows down a little bit in automatic mode, but most of them really do.
I just stay in the highest range and it goes very well there and at the beginning here. it was like, oh, I was looking right, it was jumping high, but then at this point it got stuck. Once the water starts spraying the rear tires, you can tell that the wheels have basically skidded and that's pretty doubtful. I'm going to get out of this, not that it matters, I wasn't struggling here, I went to automatic, I mean low range for the differentials, I think I tried it quickly and it's fine, just yeah, I'd rather try to find the quickest one.
The low range differentials option is a last resort so to speak, and it was actually working quite well in auto mode, and even when I put it on high, then stopping on high is not possible as that's pretty much it, but it's definitely on the nicer side of not stopping when you put it on high, you can go pretty slow and put it on high and the wheel will spin or go off and now yeah, flying down, nailed a tree, hit some trees tonight nailing one is pretty decent and consistent more than that, I don't really know again, we'll get to that a little bit later, but yeah, that tree test that's always been there, a tree, but I can live with that. because if I ever go a little wide on the road and I could hit a tree if I knock one down without my car going flying, look, I was looking at the speedometer when I said this yesterday that in low range it feels very In low reps, it increases a little more when it came out, but it was between 800 and a thousand rpm and it idles at about 550 and the red light comes on or the game limits it to two and a half anyway, so yeah.
I actually only have about a third of your engine and I don't know how much power that gives you. Obviously there seems to be some sort of grab buff as soon as you get into low range anyway, just with game mechanics, but yeah, I'd personally like a little more rebs in low range and going over the top. the bumps, to be honest, as you can see the suspension is as barely damaged on the little dials at the bottom as it ever was. A problem tonight, I'll show you some later, but yeah, as far as going over the rocks when I was at high range and all sorts, I took some strange damage, but it was nothing, yeah, it was going off the charts. hands or anything that wants to hit that anti-terrorist barricade which certainly got me a little bit, but somehow they do, I mean like someone said they've increased them and it's a bit of an exaggeration so I was looking at the rev ranges again , like if you're going slow enough because the speed limit hasn't been reached, pick up a little more revs, but again you're talking about 800 to a thousand in the low range and I tried the off-road. gearbox um, it was low, low, around seven or eight hundred, too, medium low was around eight hundred to a thousand and then high low was around a thousand to fifteen hundred, depending on your speed, so it was definitely a little bit better , the only reasons why I prefer high rank ranges?
It was actually quite nice to drive even off road so it's like turning on the lights and that was with the bumper on and the fog lights without the fog lights and as you can see I have I put them together now and it was like when I I looked at myself, like it wasn't as you can see, although it changed like the color of the light, it was basically more yellowish like the old school headlights and then the fog lights, so I guess they look like more modern LEDs , just a very pure white, so like I say, I had to have a small.
I tried this the other week when I made this video. I don't remember if I kept this one in the video or not, but either. I could not resist. I was just about to leave this map while I wait a minute. Something doesn't feel right. Look, I'm trying to grow something. These damn trees get damaged by sunlight, so I knocked down six of them this way. and then I got stuck in what was left of the trees and then going in this direction it's like I was slowing down every time, but then I was picking up my speed, but now wait a minute, continue. one more yeah what a damn beauty engine it's in the red but I don't care it took down all eight in that row which is pretty decent to be honest and I'd say it's a better benchmark than the original tree test , I mean, I was I'm so funny, I did a little spin on the wheel going for the big one, damn, I mean we shook it up a little bit, that's the best you can hope for, I'll take it, so you'll go this way normally. put it on high now and I'll be honest I forgot though you can see how good it was, once you get to this point it officially turns into deep snow and slows down for pretty much everything anyway so I have my forehead . wheels over there and I didn't catch the fuel tanks which was good at least I like it at the moment you can see the fenders are definitely above where the barrier is so that's not the problem obviously the Low range differentials are the best grip.
It's wise really, but because the revs are so low, it just didn't have the guts to go up there and I don't think it's necessarily a lack of power, it's a lack of power in the accessible rev range, so it's not the truck itself, but it has been artificially limited, I would say to some extent, although it feels like some severe limitations on this, not many, that would be the main one and one can suspect that it was an overly capable truck if they let it go. much higher stuff and obviously they had to choose something to be a game starting truck personally, if it were me from the beginning I would probably change this with the m916 as the game starting truck as it is punished with fuel not I don't know though because this isn't as fuel punished and I guess that's not a bad thing when you're just starting out in the game and you don't need all the restrictions and mechanics hitting you at once, you kind of want to, yeah, to get it.
I'm a bit used to going over this barrier again, it was just the rear tires, we don't have them, so in the end I did a winch and got over it pretty easy, but yeah, it just did it under its own power. that low rev range didn't overcome any of that as far as getting through here, although again I'm still in automatic which is good because I like more options, like I don't mind downshifting if I have to, but only if I had the choice obviously that's why I generally prefer trucks that have the diffs always on because then effectively the first gear automatic goes high and low whereas every time I want to stay in automatic I don't have the diffs but for some reason , possibly because it's low rev, so it's closer to the low range anyway, but uh, yeah, even with the diffs off, it doesn't really turn the wheel, just a very fast wheel, I guess it's got that mix of what slow enough that it still grips along a bit, I don't know how to explain it, but I think you'll know what I mean if you played the game.than it should be, but it still made its way up here and yeah, I mean, overall, you can see it was a little strange right behind the truck. um, yeah, I mean, in general, I think it is. uh done pretty well considering everything, especially that it was an early game trip.
I drove to the top of the river and you end up with just trees blocking it, so yeah, bottom line. Uh, I don't think it's that bad. Don't I mean I have access to basically everything now? I'm not exactly going to say I'll be jumping every five minutes because I won't, but I can certainly see the appeal of it if and when I do it. Play another game of the game. I will definitely give him more chances than last time. I mean, after about a day I bought the Navistar and enjoyed it more anyway and just put all my money into it. on that really, so I didn't really have enough left over to update this as well, but yeah, I'm pretty happy with all of this all things considered and, um, there's a lot of things that worked pretty comfortably, I mean, it worked pretty well in the quarry, the deep mud I didn't really like it much, but in the snow it was fine.
Going into the mountains is pretty good for not tipping over and stuff, so yeah, it's probably worth keeping to be honest, especially since you get it so early. 68 grand fully upgraded, that would be like mid 50's if you removed the winch. I mean, you look at it's 30 grand and you find out they give it to you anyway. Gmc is 26, it's a little more expensive than Gmc, but that's all wheel drive. probably more affordable like you have to be late or whatever for the gmc or the WD so yeah that would be my conclusion keep it if you find it i mean if you're really desperate for money so whatever you want, but yes.
It is definitely worth keeping. I'd rather sell the GMC without AWD than this, so anyway that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed it, thanks for watching and I'll be back soon.
