Hello. Here I show you how you can make an abstract painting with aluminum foil take a canvas Then you stick the aluminum foil on the canvas I use an acrylic binder to glue (pigment binder) I apply the binder with the spatula I can spread the glue quickly with the spatula and then stick the aluminum foil. I have an idea in my head and I would like to capture it on a canvas, but my belly wants something more. Now I'm a little hampered because my head wants something different. Feeling my belly I try to detach myself from my idea. and let me get into the painting.

Now I have covered the entire canvas with aluminum foil. I paint the glue onto the aluminum foil. and let it dry now you can see the black structure that has emerged on the edge of the canvas. I use a simple bristle brush. I add a wet-on-wet mix of grays onto the canvas. I add a dark ocher. I apply the paint. With the spatula the paint slides easily over the aluminum foil but I am careful with the tool so that the aluminum foil is not damaged. I paint the paint on the aluminum foil and leave open areas, each time I get more into what is happening.

I apply the paint and remove again with a soft, damp cloth. I remove color again. I separate the surface a little. This is just the first color application. I try a lot. I clean a lot with the cloth. so the color stays and sometimes I don't try anymore I run water over the paint, the paint washes off I work slowly I watch what happens The color dries The color dries dark Now I'm taking a blue, the blue is transparent, the sheet silver shines in the background here there is something whiter in the blue I reapply the paint with the spatula because this way I can emphasize the structure the color goes towards the depth of the structure I attract it or I can only paint them in the heights if I pass the spatula completely on the surface I can scrape the color again this is how patterns and nuances are created Creates an interesting play of colors I know I will paint often on the surface I let it dry and continue working below I push the paint with the spatula The color becomes to dry dark I paint again blue The paint doesn't stick as well to the aluminum foil, that's not bad because, when the color dissolves again, beautiful effects are created.

You already know this technique. The other tutorials, in addition to the sky, paint clouds. Apply paint with the brush and go over again with the dry brush Then you remove the brush marks from the application again to obtain a perfect layer of color I remove the paint with the cloth with water you dissolve the already dried color sometimes the color is opaque the color remains transparent Now I am running water again the water partially washes away the paint I partially wiped off the paint with the cloth again. I like it a lot, but I want to try more, it's dry again.

I can keep painting until I like it. Personally, I would like to change it color. I like this metal color, steel gray and rust red. I can always review it, the sheet still shines. By applying ocher, the colors of the sheet are gold. By applying light blue colors, the silver film, you can continue to do so. until you like it I like the parts that emerge and keep painting I like the random parts I don't like the stripes here Here I take a Parisian blue I also use this blue in sea photos I often use ocher as a sand shade on the beach I'll be back to paint blue and remove the paint again.
