'Sympathy for Prince Harry has totally EVAPORATED' after court case battle
Mar 15, 2024This is a pretty sad story, it's unfortunate to witness Prince Harry, once the most popular royal, who clearly can't help but shed the emotional scabs he feels have been inflicted on him. On the other hand, I can't understand why his lawyers ever allowed it. Let him go to
court
over this because, on the face of it, he's doing pretty poorly so far and I don't see how he's going to win this unless he can link a specific story to a specific illegal activity on behalf of the mirror group newspapers. and the parallels drawn by Andrew Green in the News Groupcase
, there were phone records, it was compelling evidence in terms of what had been intercepted or supposedly intercepted, what is missing this time, yes absolutely, and there is not a single example that I have heard anyway that it suggests that there is some evidence that illegal action was taken.I think there's also the broader fact that Prince Harry himself has been found to have got some of his evidence wrong or at least misinterpreted evidence and in his own book, the autobiography, I think it's fair to say that some have already pointed out that if there is any intrusion into other people's privacy anyway, it was a tour of the private life of the Royal Family, so it's in there somewhere. I think the big problem for Harry is that the
sympathy
that I think there was for him from the beginning has almost completelyevaporated
and thiscourt
case
is not helping him at all.More Interesting Facts About,

You don't really think there will be a re-evaluation on Harry's part. some people, when they find out, they know that he had his day in court, what he had to go through because of this DEC case and the intrusion into his private life, even though it may not be illegal or illegal, well, I think the
sympathy
for he in that sense is abundant, but it is a mitigation, excuse me, it is mitigated by the fact that he himself appeared on the television engine in Memoirs, uh, to reveal things that the public, the royal family, the public never knew about The Royal Family. more intimate secrets, so it's very difficult to balance that and I think Jacob Reesmart made a very good point in his summary of this editorial on his show last night that this is the freedom of the press that is being challenged here, the freedom of press. the press is also freedom of expression and without it we are not a democracy and to suggest that the bloody fingers, the fingers covered in blood that write these stories is an outrageous insult against decent journalists around the world and whether they would come out of the closet if there were Yes If there were any measures that followed Prince Harry's clear wishes, it would mean that there would be restrictions on press freedom and I think that would betotally
unacceptable. he was treated decently by the British press no, I think to be fair to him and I think that's where the public's reservoir of sympathy would be if he hadn't harmed it himself, I think everyone would see this, uh, uh.After all, he was a 14-year-old boy. Yes, younger and the press persecuted him at the time in ways that would be intolerable now and just wouldn't happen in this day and age, but I think it's the right thing to do for his entire life. He has been the subject of an intrusion that was unforgivable and remains unforgivable.
