and several of these punch bowls. They are a kind of crystal pattern and I am clear about them. I'm going to start with one of our smaller bowls. You're going to turn it upside down and there's no need to remove the price stickers because we're going to remove this bottom part. You're going to take your heat tool and after it's heated up, you're going to place it over the yellow and just press down.

It is not necessary to apply excess pressure, which is especially important when we approach our punch bowls that are a little thinner plastic because you will break them. There are a couple of spots that didn't melt. There you see our hole and we're going to want to do that with a couple more of these, but that's basically what you do. Now I'll show you how to do that in one of the punch bowls. We're going to use the same process on the punch bowl, but we're going to want to place one of these in the bottom of the punch bowl, so I don't want to make the hole as big.

I'm going to place this right on top and make my hole inside one of these. I'm just going to use this to trace and place my heat tool in here and make my circle. What I want is a hole that is big enough for my hand to fit through. We're going to put lights in here and I want to be able to reach out and turn on the lights inside. I don't want a small hole that I can't access, but again I need this hole to be smaller so I can use adhesive to attach this

to the bottom of the punch bowl.

I'm just going to use this as a guide for sizing. For the next step, I will use two of the large bowls that I melted the holes in, two of the smaller blue bowls that I melted the holes in, and one of the blue bowls that I did not melt. no hole at all. I'm going to start with one of the blue bowls that has the hole and one of the clear ones and I'm going to grab some Gorilla Clear Grip. You can use E6000 or any type of adhesive you are comfortable with. This will take a little time to really be sure, so you'll want to put it on, secure your bowls, and then let them sit.

These bowls also come in pink and purple, so you can use them if you prefer those colors. Then we're going to take our clear container and put it right on top. Now this next one is a little difficult because it has a very thin flat edge. Where it is a little wider, that is where we are going to put the glue, even if you only put a few dots there. You're just going to put that sticker right there. You can use a toothpick or brush to apply the adhesive if you prefer. I've done it all the way and the hard part is making sure you get it exactly right.
Then we're going to finish it off. It doesn't matter if we add another layer, as long as you're not too rough with it. Let's finish this with one more blue bowl. Place a generous, generous amount of adhesive right on these wide parts of this container. You don't need to worry too much because the ropes will also connect it. We'll go ahead and put our top connected perfectly and then I'll let that sit there. If you want you can put a little book on top or something to make sure it sticks, but if you leave it for a while it will be ready for our last step.
It's almost dusk and I have all three lights off on the table, but see how you can see the battery packs on the base? I'm going to dress them up a little more. You could add more lights inside yours if you wish. I really like how inside this one they shine through the double row of bowls, so that might be something you want to do. I'm going to disguise the bottom of those. I'm going to show you how I'm going to do that. I'm coming up here to show you that all I'm going to do is take some faux ivy like this and just cut them up and place them around our base.
Leaving a little wire on them I can bend them. You could hot glue them on, but I want to be able to pick it up and turn off the battery lights or turn them off, although they all have a timer to turn them on and off. See how you can disguise that a little bit? You can even pick it up and

it under the container if you're afraid of it blowing away while you're outdoors. That will help hide it and then I'll add a little bit of color. As you can see, in addition to the ivy, I have decided to add some white poppies.
I like to add white flowers at night as they really look good with the black center. That's going to make these stand out a little bit, so I'm going to do this all the way to the end of each one of them. Night is falling here, so it will be a perfect time to video them so you can see what they will really look like. Here we are! The sun has set and you can see how much light they will bring to the table. You could even use one of these on each table as a centerpiece for an evening event.
How pretty do the flowers look at the base? Isn't it lovely? I hope you like this project and that you go to Dollar Tree, grab some of those bowls, and create some yourself this summer. Thanks for watching and we'll see you next time here on Hometalk.
