DIY. Some of you recreated it too and in the video there was also a second shelf where I just made these strips. the wooden wall and I still find this edition very cool with dies hanging in my workshop and now there are all kinds of things in it that should definitely be sorted. Then I also converted several Ikea shelves into ones and twos, so I pushed what I have into the doors. We didn't mill the slots, we just milled a corner with the router, so to speak, and that gave me a stick look, so instead of gluing them on top, you can just mill the slots.

Come in and then you look the same, I have it all still varnished, screwed to the wall and I put a plate on top of it and yeah, I still think it's cool. The other shelf above was a little deeper. ivas, which are available in 30cm and 40cm deep I think, or 60 and 40 somehow here and there, I took three and painted them all and put them on the bottom base so they are a little raised. It looks really cool that they are not directly on the floor and there is probably one missing on the left side of Eva, I also built a side part with a shelf like this and then basically made a compartment in the middle.

I also built a full rope rack with this metal rack. It's super

easy

. There is also a video here on YouTube in this video. There was also a closet and I built it with the acoustic panel. I simply screwed a wooden panel to the back and painted it and then put two round pieces of wood on it and then attached it to the wall. I still think it's a stylish closet and will definitely build it again on top of our new entry area. For the third IWA conversion, I took my Flex. with a sanding wheel and then I put a contour on the doors and I'm always a little clean with that.

So basically you create waves and when you paint it it looks very nice and I also built some feet myself, i.e. garden posts and I just cut them off. an L like that and then they join together at the bottom and on the side and anyway, the biggest project of all. In 2022 the bathroom used to have so many tiles and things were no longer right and could no longer be cleaned and it drove us crazy every time so everything had to come out, I took out all the tiles and we replaced the shower with a bathtub because in our Attic there is another bathroom with a shower and then we said, well, then we have a bathroom with a shower and another with a bathtub because in life we somehow have to bathe with children after all the tiles are removed.
I installed the tub which was definitely great, covered everything and then filled in the old tiles and also the side. from the bathtub with a SCHÖNER WOHNEN spatula. You can simply fill the tiles over the tiles and it will look great when finished. I then retiled the floor and built a new vanity on the left side with a cool deck for the sink. and another Ikea cabinet that I had attached to the left of the bathtub. Then I built a slide out box which is really super practical and has really proven itself when you can just slide these laundry baskets into the bottom and what I still think is Super cool and easy to build is this floating shelf on the wall you can use any board of wood, take it and they made holes in it and then these kind of angles that you can buy on the Internet, they have some kind of plunger and you just push it into the wood and then you don't see any angle on the wall, yeah, and we're definitely still super happy with the entire bathroom, together with my friend Valle, with whom I have Bretter, we redesigned the staff. room in Bretter, he used to be the painter where we painted and now he should be part of the kitchen/staff room, so something like that.
To make us a cozy room we just installed a kitchen, painted it, put a new floor, I'm there and the before and after effect is definitely amazing from such a dirty workshop to the kitchen and of course there were some Ikea tricks last year, among other things, some small ones like this table made of these two salad bowls that you simply screw on and place on top of the plate. Of course, you can leave it natural, but I also sprayed it with a concrete paint like that and then used a shelf made from boxes like that, so that's cool. too easy to build, for example for tonieboxes and then this photo frame that was incorporated into a magazine rack.
I could also imagine that you could just build it even bigger and then have several magazines on top of each other so you could maybe use a compartment board in the middle, which makes for larger frames at Ikea too. In our office I converted an anteroom and used acoustic panels. I love these pieces and they really add something to the acoustics behind me. They are also First allowed entry to the beige painted room, always before that, I didn't like it very much anymore, so the darkness is very oppressive at times and I think it matches the acoustic panels quite well.
Then I put the table there. which I also built myself and a rug and some new chairs and for the wall I thought of a special shelf in which the ends of the compartment boards are, so to speak, completely semicircles. Each of the compartment sheets is joined together with round pieces of wood. , so I simply drilled holes in the compartment leaves and then each one was connected with pieces of wood. That worked really well and I think it turned out to be a cool shelf and I also imagine that you could expand it like this, so that you could somehow create an entire wall with boards like that that you can then always snap together and then you can do No not just one but several that flow together.
You know me, I love little white tiles. I did a lot last year and this year I had to build a large tiled table for our balcony and that was actually very practical because our balcony is not wide enough to fit a very wide table so I just took one panel aquamarine color. and I screwed it to a screen printing board and then I tiled this panel water, which I just glued with mounting adhesive and then grouted and I love this table, I think it's great, I'm happy every time I look out "The room being on our balcony and she has this table there and I'm already looking forward to it when it finally gets warm again.
Speaking of the balcony, I redesigned it again a little bit. Somehow I feel like I do that every year. I did it on the edge to that our son couldn't climb or even fall or something, that's why I put fabrics there, but I actually think it's quite pretty in white, they are available in all possible colors, I just decided on white because we have a lot of it anyway white so I think it looks pretty good and then I covered this window sill in front of this huge window in our living room on the outside of his bench I just used slats for it I still think it's super cool and you can just sit on it there and I think it looks much better than just a window sill and balcony furniture we have.
I bought it here when we moved in 2019 and it's not as fresh anymore. I painted I bought it once and built another hanging table for our balcony, but this time it is made of WPC material because I had already built it before. The wood was just completely worn out and now nothing is wrong with this hard material and it still looks good in winter and can definitely withstand the weather. Then there's also a slightly bigger project that I had a lot of fun with: the garden shower and I'm happy to finally be able to shower again.
I just used the same type of terrace. siding I used for the garden for the fence and I basically built a corner on the balcony with it and the Gardena plumbing system in the back so I built a spiral for the sun to heat the water, it works great and I also made a valve so I could turn the water on and off with my cell phone, but I also made a completely normal faucet out of it. Then you can mix the water again, so to speak, from cold or warm from the spiral. and yes I think this corner is really cute and I really want to shower there again last year there were some projects that were only on Instagram for example I built a stool out of oak wood and I still think it's really cool because I just You tighten by twisting the cables at the bottom and you can take it apart again at any time and it's nothing.
I installed screws or something and built a pizza board with slots and that was built with you too. in the workshop. I had a lot of fun, there is another workshop this year and then I built some smaller things for my son, among other things, one where you can move pieces of wood back and forth on an arch like this, which, by the way, it's different pieces of wood, and then another set of threads where you can stick a stick through a piece of wood like a hole in cheese and also a box like this where you can just sort the building blocks on the top so they are stored there and you can also put them on top and we also have a camper and I built a safety device here so that our son can't fall out of bed like that, a net with two strips and I also built a swing for our son on holiday from the high chair, which can simply be hung on the top of the railing and I've always really liked that and I also have three more for the caravan.
Lamps built, among other things, for the Ford bus that we carry. I won last year along with Salt Lets, these are magnetic lamps, one is for the wall that you can hang on the wall but also outside on the body of the car, so to speak, and the other one is more of a stand So and these They are all lamps that shine through the sheet metal and the third lamp is made of wood, so to speak, around it a lampshade is built and also a battery-operated lamp, which can somehow be hung outside as an advantage, for example or on the awning, I think that's definitely my favorite DIY from last year, the children's bed.
We spent a lot of time looking for something to buy, but it wasn't available. We just wanted to have something on our bed that we could put on our bed but it was tall enough for our son to do it, he can fall over when he stands up and we couldn't find anything like that so I built it myself out of wood multiplex lined, I closed all the sides and then you can draw a curtain in the front so that when he sleeps you can see it when you breastfeed you just have to open it again.
We actually only use the curtain when we go to bed at night, then we close it so that when he answers and we're not in bed yet, he can't get out of bed, that works too. Okay, so you can't put it on this curtain, but at night it stays open because then it gets close to Marie, so, so to speak, and there's actually no danger of it falling on something in the bed when we're lying down. In bed, um, yeah. But otherwise it has definitely proven to be very good, the bed, the video is definitely on Instagram, I don't care and I built a dresser out of two bread bins and recreated some of them as well.
It was really cool to build and it's basically on the right and left and bread bins and on the top and bottom is a plate. and in the middle you have a bed with additional compartments where you can somehow put boxes or something like that and underneath I screwed the seguirex and the handles of the bread bins in the same color painted as the feet, which is a bit similar in principle and where I was inspired in the bread cabinet which is a roller shutter cabinet and I thought I could build it completely round so I cut two round parts for the top and there are grooves milled into the bottom and there, which you then put a mat into bamboo. firmly insertedThis is a bamboo mat from Ikea and it is perfect if you can shape it very well and as I said I put one firmly on the back and then I firmly placed two round pieces of wood and with the other you have to do calculations and basically you can do this Opening and closing the cabinets, I've unscrewed the rollers, let's see if they stay put, maybe I'll screw in some fixed feet or something, depending on the situation, maybe sometimes I'll vote on Instagram and take a photo one way or another , so it's definitely worth it for me too.
If you follow Instagram, you are always live with projects and there are some projects that are only available on Instagram. I also built a children's wardrobe out of the same multiplex wood and I have to say I'm a little proud too because it looks really nice, I embedded the mirror with the router so that the mirrorIt was flush with the wood and I painted the bottom of the mirror with a light. salmon tone so that it still shines a little. I made a shelf, cut slanted holes in it and put it underneath and then I think it's really nice to hang clothes on.
Then there were three more Ikea tricks. I converted a cart that I painted. in the drawers I made them out of wood because I don't think these access holes are that pretty, so I lowered them so it was easy to grab and I also made strips on the sides like an Ikea cell phone, for talking, round pieces of wood where you can hang hooks and that is really very practical for scissors. Hanging it or hanging tape behind it is definitely cool and I made small rolls so you can always push it where you need it using the calculations from Before, I also built a lamp in the video and used this bamboo math as the lamp body below, I put the top and bottom cover, I glued everything and at the top there is a socket where you can then screw. in the light bulb and for our living room I built another folding table like that.
It's basically based on an Ikea tablet because I really think it's great if you ever need a little more space to put something, you just take it out. the tray with the things and then I put it on this folding table and that's why I have it like this. I basically built a folding closet under the dough and I can put the tablet on top and last but not least that year I built this fun game with Frank. , this ring toss was very well received at Christmas, we played it a lot and it has a lot of value.
It was fun so you should definitely have it at home too, it's really for every family or party evening and it's super cool. The game instructions can also be found here on YouTube like I said and yes, that's it for the year in review and I thought I'd give it to you. At the end of this video, a little preview of what is happening this year. In our penthouse, which we just built and yes, this year there will surely be many projects. I'm here in the first children's room. Everything that remains to be done will be covered with plasterboard here there.
There will also be a video about it and of course a complete makeover of this nursery for our son. If you go a little further here, here's the hallway, which is completely long, so I can basically go up from here. Down and to the left. It is the children's second room. I think this is my favorite room, it's also 24 square meters and this double-roof window reaches very low. We have a chimney here that goes up 12 feet in the room here, I thought could you build? a very good shelf behind the wall, um yes, since we don't have two children yet, that will probably be our gym, a cozy room, and here on the other side is our bedroom and next to it is the bathroom so in total they are four rooms that will be remodeled next year and I hope you are as interested in this remodeling campaign as I am, if you have any questions about the remodeling that is coming here please write to me. on the comments.
