Rebecca, the queen, went out yesterday and received a message from Katherine. What is she saying? Do you think a good second question would have been planned? Actually, yes, yesterday she was out doing a series of engagements and Eng Eng's first administration involved her going to the market square, um, for a big public walk. and the crowd was amazing considering it was a rainy Wednesday, wet work Wednesday, huh, but there were over 2,000 people there and she wanted to shake hands with so many people and meet so many people and she immediately saw a couple of young girls among the crowd that he had made signs.

Get well soon cards for the Princess of Wales and she made a kiss for them and said thank you because you know Catherine was excited and very touched with all the love and support she had received over the last week. and that she would make sure to send those messages to him personally. Now it's a good question if those things are set up and the answer is no because of course you never know until you get there what the crowds are going to be like. I knew the girls would be there holding their signs, I mean they're like any public figure, members of the royal family, they're talked to about what to expect if someone said something to you in a certain scenario, what would you say back except the one?

What I know about Queen Camilla is that she doesn't listen to them often and she really just comes out and says what she thinks and you know from her that she is very sincere when she says it now, we are recording this today on M. Thursday is a very important day on the church calendar of course, but also important for the royal family, but this year will look very different, won't it? Yes, in fact, it will continue while we record this show and as soon as it's finished. I'm going to have to run to my desk and write a big thousand-word article about it, but you can do it for five minutes, yeah, but yeah, it's very important because it's an important date on the Christian calendar, Thursday.

Before Easter Sunday and since the 4th century, monarchy has been involved, everything centers on how Jesus washed the feet of his apostles at the Last Supper and in recent centuries has become the ruler who gives bags of coins to worthy members of the communities. and churches in a particular area each year and it's a fun fact that the number of coins in this bag equals the age the Monarch is this year so obviously they will receive 75 coins but the king is obviously very frustrated because he may not be there because obviously his doctors have advised him not to attend large gatherings while he is in the early stages of his cancer treatment, so Queen Camilla is intervening for him and it's the first time she's done it, so it's a very, very big event. moment for her now Richard, we're really having to deal with a different way to the Royal Family and what they're capable of, aren't we?
Yeah, I mean, it's surprising today, I mean, we're so used to seeing Queen Elizabeth on M Thursday always in a very shiny suit somewhere Handing out that money, it still feels strange, doesn't it? I mean, even seeing the king do it, it would take a little getting used to, but the fact that he can't. it's really amazing and the queen intervenes for him, you know, at the moment we have this strange situation where you know it's almost like a kind of acting Monarch, you know she's been away, she's been very busy this week, a lot of commitments. and her.
She's there representing the king, so it's a very interesting situation, although Rebecca, despite the king's recent health problems, we understand that she plans to go to church this weekend, will she greet the public? Yes, the Easter Sunday service is again a big event. It's a big event for the institution obviously the nickname is the head of the Church of England and for the F I think it would be the biggest meeting he's attended since his treatment as a councilor was announced in February so which will lead a slightly smaller Raw Family, um, to the Matan service at St George's Chapel in Windsor because obviously we won't have the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, but there will still be a considerable number of people there um and me.
I'm told I think he's going to make an attempt, or should I say an effort, to be seen in public as much as he can walking to the church and back up again, so I think it'll be a great moment for Royal Watchers and one another. who is really determined to attend. I think it has the potential to be very emotional for many supporters and followers. Do you think it's an exaggeration, Richard, to say that it will be a big boost for people? for the nation it certainly will be when they see him there, but I am disturbed by this idea because they have announced that the king will be there on Sunday and you know that he is receiving treatment for cancer, yes, it is in the early stages, but I do not like that it press that it has to be there.
Frankly, he could wake up on Sunday feeling absolutely terrible and then feel like he has to move on because it's already been announced. Do you think it's the pre? I have a feeling from the King that the pressure will definitely come from him 100%, um, but I think he should be advised to take it easy, it's not necessary, we know he's the king, you know, that's not It's like that. There's no challenge or anything like that and I think nowadays everyone understands that when you're going through cancer treatment you have to take it easy, so if he wakes up on Sunday and feels fine, that's great, but if he feels bad, I'm not

sorry

.
I should and imagine now having announced it, if he didn't show up, it would be a you know, it

must

have taken a turn for the worst and everything, so they're kind of making a stick for their own back, but when he shows up and I'm sure he did, It will be a boost and will be front page news. I guess we don't really know the ins and outs of treating him, but yeah. I think we probably all know from the people in our lives the importance of the mental boost that someone who is sick gets from being able to get on with their life too, you really can't underestimate it, for him you can't either, and the people around him tell him you know who occasionally has a day when he doesn't.
I'm not feeling very good because of course that's perfectly understandable but they said people keep repeating me honestly most days, if you saw it you wouldn't really know what was going on behind the scenes and someone told me quite a lot, Riley . His appetite for work has not diminished. I don't doubt it, which is a real understatement, you know, he's cracking the whip to take a day off, he's driving us crazy and if that's what's keeping him happy like you say and focused, then. I think good luck to him, I mean we've all met people like that, we've met others that have been receiving cancer treatment and they've just decided to go to work and it's that motivation that keeps them going so, um .
I think it depends on him, isn't he ultimately absolutely good? In any case, Easter is always a big royal gathering, so look out for more of our favorite signature images on coasters over the years a little further down the show from last time. broadcast, obviously everyone knows that the Princess of Wales released a very touching video in which she revealed a cancer diagnosis. As always, we want to respect her wish for privacy, but we want to discuss some of the stories about that day and the aftermath of it. Now Rebecca tells us. on the decision to make this extraordinary move, yes, FR Friday was, you know, one of those really remarkable and unexpected days in my career covering the Royals.
In fact, I had heard a week before, um, that what she was experiencing was probably a little more serious than people clearly realized that we would never publish a story like that because it's her information that she can share if she wants, but I got a message around 3:15 on Friday saying, could you be on a, you know, a conference call at 4 and I knew I was connected to the

prince

from where

prince

ss of well, so I knew it was going to be Pretty serious and I have to say you know, obviously you can see people's faces on these group calls and you know I've never seen anything like this.
You know, people were absolutely devastated for her and her family. I think there are a lot of people in shock and what was really emphasized in that call, which I think was really interesting, is that you ask about the moment. and obviously we've seen this whole debate about social media and trolls that we've talked about a lot on the show and it had absolutely nothing to do with that, you know, this was her decision to do this at a time that she felt that It was the right thing for her, for her husband, but most importantly for her three children, and that is what she has put above everything else for the last few months, how this will affect her children.
I think, as a mother, you know. little kids I just remember sitting there thinking about little Lou's face, you know, that little guy, tell your kids, you know when, as a parent, all you want to do is lift your kids up and protect them and you have to impart to them something that really it could rock their world and as a parent no one wants to do that so you can understand why they have taken the time to do it the way they want despite all the pressure on them and it was very interesting for a number of us.
I asked at several points in that call if you're doing this because you know this type of trolling and they could have used that opportunity to lash out at the trolls and criticize the social media commenters and it was actually very classy. Wasn't it like forgetting all that? Forget the noise that is about us and our family at all. I think a lot of trolls would have liked to feel like they made a move there, you know? I mean, they forced his hand. do something exactly now, obviously when we first found out about Kate's surgery we were told that she would start making appearances after Isa, but presumably that could be extended now that she's going to stay hidden for a few more months, I think they're going to do it.
To take it as it comes, it was very clear to me that she could come and go even while she was undergoing this preventative chemotherapy, so she could do that if there was an event that she wanted to dive into, maybe on a video call or you know. maybe she'll even show up in person, but there was no pressure on her at all and she would do it when she saw fit, but I think we should expect that we know that it's highly unlikely we'll see much more of her. what we call the busy summer season, which is the kind of period of time leading up to the end of July, when the family goes to Bal Moral Richard away for a few days, almost a week, actually, since the news broke. news, what do you think about it?
Now I want to say that it was very moving to see, you know, it was very disturbing in many ways, but what came across was Katherine's desire to help others. You know, she made it clear that this isn't just me. I know what others are going through. People get cancer at the same time, so she made sure it wasn't just about her. I mean, I think they were really keen to air this before Easter because there's been a lot of talk that we're looking forward to seeing Katherine. on Easter Day and, you know, she started getting whispers of people getting nervous, is she going to be in public or not?
So it was just her saying basically I'm not going to be there and I need some privacy and I want to have time and I think this will allow them to take that pressure off and as a result there have been a lot of people who have

apologize

d or who have felt

sorry

, yeah um, because of the things they've said and all the jokes about her you know. disappearance, well you know, now we know why, we'll talk about that in a minute, but first, Rebecca, I just wanted to move on to this message from the Sussexes, yeah, so Duke indust Sussex put out a message through their spokespersons quite soon.
After the announcement was made, do you think they would have been given advance warning of this announcement? 100% no wow no 100% no and I think people will read that, which they will do and probably rightly so, you know It was a warm message of you know, thoughts and good wishes for her, but I'm not sure what they could have said much more than that, um, yes, but it is a suggestion that they would have been told in advance. I mean, we asked that. question obviously and um, while the

palace

didn't comment on who they had told when it was pretty clear to us that they wouldn't have been in that inner circle, oh my god, uh, Richard, you touched it,we have commented. about the reactions of various celebrities and public figures on social media in the lead-up to Katherine's video.
I think I've seen Kim Kardashian and Blake Lively among others, one person stands out, a gentleman called Christopher drunk, why is God just the mention? That man's name bothers me I mean oh my god I'm sorry it's here on the cards I have yeah he's been interacting with me on social media too this is actually Harry's lives terms and Megan, she's actually quite an important figure and I mean. That's because you might remember her three-part Dian Netflix series that we all had to watch. I remember, it came up a lot. He is a tech boss. American technology chief.
I think he got involved with Harry and Megan because he was interested. I think he had made some positive comment about them and then he was really interested in the kind of negative response he received and started analyzing his response and was convinced that there was a lot of organized trolling about them and as a result, he got quite involved with Harri and Megan certainly is a big supporter, but anyway, in recent weeks, he's been one of the most prominent proponents of conspiracy theories, you know, and even after Katherine's video, I mean, there he was, you know, filmed in the garden. by this BBC team, you know, and then he still questions everything and then talks about how the footage we had seen of them visiting a farm shop couldn't have been correct because she looked so much healthier in this video and my question .
It is who has time to worry, to analyze these types of things well, in a way, it is his job because, as he is a technician, he has a company that analyzes all these things and, however, it has been putting a lot of pressure on him and he has worked a lot. the things that he said and in the past are nasty you know it's personal um and then I think he often claims that he's racist because he's black and he often says oh you want to get me because I'm black or whatever you think shut up You're a very man annoying.
I think she takes a little delight in the notoriety that a lot of people have around this, but I think what was surprising about Katherine's video message was how dignified and elegant it was, and I don't think I really need to say anything because it's a counterbalance. so straight to the kind of rabid musings on social media about these kinds of conspiracies, you know, propagators, so I think they actually came up with the most dignified and appropriate way. answer they could, it just feels like there's no answer that's satisfactory. I think you've hit the nail on the head, Jo, absolutely.
I think Harry and Megan's kind of hatred towards the mainstream media as such has led them, you know, into bed with figures. um, like drunk and and that's worrying, you know, to have someone like him so present in your own series. I think it's disturbing. Now, in your newsletter this week, you say that this could be a time to reset relationships, but from everything you two just said: No, I'm not feeling optimistic since Katherine's video aired almost a week ago , there have been many suggestions that William, with his wife undergoing cancer treatment, should patch things up with his brother.
It's a good time for them to get back together and this kind of stuff, but what I've said in my newsletter is that it has to be for Har and Megan to seek forgiveness, you know, we're in this. Lent season and they should be the ones to

apologize

for all the harm they have caused and I know our lawyers and the people would not want me to suggest that they have contributed to the illnesses of the king or Catherine, but certainly what they have contributed is a state of terrible mental health that Catherine has had to endure in silence for the last few years, with just this constant barrage of attacks, any of us would find it exhausting and difficult to bear, so they should apologize. um, in public, in private and then maybe things can start to heal, we'll see if there can be any positive news from a story like Catherine's diagnosis, we're here to hear it and now some media, Richard, They are talking about the subject, in quotes.
The Kate effect, what is that? Well, there is a lot of talk about cancer and it has a kind of LED for people to question things for themselves. One of the leading cancer charities, Charities McMillan, saw a huge increase. I think it's around 10% in people looking for information about different types of cancer this kind of stuff so I think about it again you know Katherine has helped normalize it just like they've done with mental health they've seen you know which is not that scary word, you know, that big C that no one can mention and if she has helped normalize that a little bit and make people more willing, particularly us men, to maybe discuss these things, then she has done a good deed now Rebecca, the other thing that this sad news has shown us is that the bond between The King and the Princess of Wales are closer than ever.
I mean, they've always had a really good relationship because they've bonded over kind of art and music and I think in the past I wrote about how they would do that. We often take secret trips together to the Royal Opera that no one knew about, but obviously now they have. I mean, it's sad because obviously no one wants to share a bond like cancer, but they do and we've had reports that have been confirmed is that the day after she filmed her video message, the king invited her to have lunch with him. at Windsor Castle, so they have something to talk about and I know that he really admires her, I think because of the strength that she has brought to him. her son's life, he thinks she is a brilliant mother and is raising her grandchildren fantastically, so he already has a lot of admiration for her, but I know he also has a lot of admiration for the way she behaved throughout Of all this, it is true that by far. of people hitting her with a stick and I also think, from what I heard, she was quite inspired by her openness about her own diagnosis and the treatment she was going through.
Some people, Richard, have said that that has actually helped pave the way. way for Katherine to give him the confidence to go public yes, I think from everything we heard, King Charles was interested and perhaps a little worried about the reaction to his cancer conversation, we have discussed in the past how monarchs would never want to indicate that they know they have had cancer, it is the first time and he was very encouraged by the reaction which was supportive and positive and encouraged talking between people and people willing to talk about cancer, so he encouraged Katherine to do the same.
Same thing, so that's definitely a positive thing now, before we get to the comments, Rebecca. I think something that comes up time and time again is worth discussing. Especially with the comments from our viewers. The name Katherine, many of you tell us not to call her Kate and especially when we sometimes put Kate in the headlines it's for internet search reasons, um, but then Sussex's message to her also referred to her as Kate, so what's in your name? What's the line? um, yeah, something. I get a lot of comments from readers. and the viewers and something that I feel very frustrated about and I've raised quite a bit actually myself um you'll never see me write the words Kate Middleton in a story um anything that I've written myself, not in conjunction with anyone else, I always do it.
I'll do Let's say the Princess of Wales I still refer to as Kate because when I started writing about her many moons ago, when her relationship with William became public, that's what all her family and friends called her and when was it in 2008, yeah, yeah, Yeah. I mean, it was a long, long time ago and Prince William referred to her as Kate during their only joint interview with Tom Bradby in their engagement interview, yes, no, and that's a very good point too, I mean, and when, when they got married in the

palace

. She told me that she would prefer to be known as Katherine now, but the problem is that everyone knows her as Kate.
I think the point people are making is very fair, why do people still call her Kate Middleton? And that really bothers me too. I will never write, I mean, I haven't written the word Kate Middleton since she got married, um, but, as you say, it comes down to the fact that people still know her globally as Kate Middleton and that's how they search. I mean her name, even in America, with all the discussions this week, we've always seen her referred to as K. I mean, I always try to say Catherine, but I know I accidentally slipped into Kate today because it's the strength of habit Sarah Dutchess from York is still known as Sarah Ferguson, yes, yes, yes, very true, okay, so hopefully that gets sorted, but maybe not, who knows, but let's hear some of her thoughts now first, here There are a couple from last week's show that Raquel Carreras wasn't impressed with.
Megan's new brand, American Riviera Orchard, more on that later, by the way, Raquel said the Meg's Lifestyle brand sounds like a Cinor retreat center. Now you mention it, but anyway, on the topic of Harry and Megan being downgraded on the Royal website, rcio Marriot said they were downgraded. The Palace just made it official, and some of you were moved to write about something I said, like Tess Thomas, who said, "I think I heard Joe Elvin make a casual comment about the Kardashians being America's royal family." "I beg you never to say." which again is the most offensive thing I've ever heard said about Americans maybe ever that really hurt look Sorry Tess I haven't drank the Kool-Aid Kardashian I'm not a fan it was a joke it was a joke I promise I don't think they're your queens, but we don't really like your comments, so we celebrated some of them in a video we published on Monday that featured many of your thoughts along with other tributes to the Princess of Wales from that Frederica Bard says: I have a lot of love, respect and admiration for this woman.
God bless her, bless Catherine, while PW adds from her da ma Royals, keeping her classy, prayers for the healing of King Charles, Princess Katherine and all others suffering from cancer. Yes, in fact, please keep them. Come on, we love reading them now, let's bring back my panel Rebecca, there have been some frankly extraordinary headlines about rapper P Diddy this week, but why has Prince Harry's name been included in them? Yeah, not something I thought we'd ever discuss at the Palace. trust I have to say it's obviously big news in the US but you also know around the world and in the UK that rapper P duby has been raided after very serious allegations about drug exploitation and all kinds of things done against him.
There was an extraordinary moment earlier this week when the details of the filing of one of these complaints against him by one of his alleged victims became public and it mentioned that several musicians, sports stars, famous people, his names were recorded as a means of attracting people to the parties he has held, interestingly the only person who was named by name was Prince Harry now of course there is no suggestion of any crime whatsoever and it is very important to emphasize that , but it was a truly remarkable state of affairs. Matters we know that he met him many, many moons ago when he was very young um when he attended a concert in memory of Diana Princess of Wales, but we don't know if this refers to something from then or something more current and what it is.
Very interesting, I, along with other journalists, have approached Harry and Megan's spokespersons to tell them, look what their response is to this, and so far this week there has been a deafening silence. Nothing, I wonder if that will continue now. Richard to reiterate what Rebecca said there. There's no suggestion that Harry has done anything wrong, but I for one have a hunch that won't stop the social media gossip. I mean, we've had for so long, um, you know, people linking Prince Andrew, um, to, you know, Jeffrey Epstein and everyone. that's because he was also named in court documents and then became tarnished by association with these rich men who love to throw lavish parties.
Harry likes to attend these celebrity parties. He writes about some of them. And it caused some problems with some. of the stories, the anecdotes that he told in his Memoirs, um, and he didn't consult people, and before quite a few names appeared in his spare book, he didn't mention Diddy or Puff Daddy or whatever you want call him. sha kums um, but yeah, he's now suffering from exactly what Prince Andrew has had for years, which is that guilt by association, you know, just because he's named in court documents, it means the press can name him when who knows if he has been at a party. at Diddy's house may not be well, I mean, we should emphasize there, of course, that Prince Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing, but in the Duchess of Sussex's new business venture, you now published a story of Megan is looking for a CEO of her company, what can you tell us aboutthat?
Yes, this is quite curious in many ways, so this is the company that announced with a post on Instagram. He's already gaining a following for American Riviera Orchard. This is your lifestyle cooking brand. a ton of trademark applications and all sorts of candles and all sorts and he's currently interviewing candidates to be the CEO Mastermind of his business, which people have pointed out is quite strange because normally you wouldn't name your Mastermind, you'd name to his boss of his company and would decide his strategy. Funny enough, that question is here and then the first one and then I throw it out, but she seems to be doing the other thing, going the other way, which might suggest that this CEO might not be the boss as such, maybe they're being nice. of boss number two, but it will be interesting to see who is appointed.
Yes, I wonder what it will be like to be interviewed by Megan for a job. Terrifying, I would have thought it through, I think I think the emails she sent to staff members that were talked about a lot over the years will be a lesson. salary, yes, well, anyway, let's continue with Rebecca in a Tom Bower article for men. Plus, she pointed out the similarities to when Sarah Ferguson was ridiculed for making money off of things like weight loss tips, fancy teas and a juicer, I think for £50, so it's not a totally new move from the royals.
To be fair, no, I mean, I've said that I disagree with Tom B on a lot of what he writes about royalty. I think it's relentlessly negative about them, but it's not unfair to point out that you know Sarah, the Duchess of York, has made a living since she divorced Prince Andrew. of, you know, flogging her association with the royal family in terms of, as you say, the Posh Posh books, um, you know, she's never there as Sarah Ferguson, she's always there as Sarah Duchess of York and I guess maybe it's her approach because obviously she is.
You've always been scrupulously polite about the slightly different royal family uh in the Sussex Dutch that's true, but back in the day probably 20 or 30 years ago when she was starting those Ventures, there was that level of criticism oh. Absolutely, yes, much stronger than this, actually, yes, I would say yes, I mean, she was flat out vulgar and vulgar, didn't she call her Prince Philip and another? If you believe the story, I think it's one of those stories that is so good. I want to believe it, yes, she, you know, was roundly attacked for that and, of course, was King Charles when he was Prince of Wales when he first went.
B how her Duy Originals offer very good cookies, oh yes, especially the ones with lemon glaze. Yeah, they're very good, um and the buns, um, he was, he was, I mean, I think it was described as a dirty Royal store, but of course the difference in that case was that every penny of what he was making It went to charity, um. obviously I'm not sure there's going to be much charitable effort here, in fact now Richard, your colleague Allison Boshof, also wrote an article comparing the American Riviera to something called the Flamingo Estate, yeah, this is really interesting, ha There have been a lot of comparisons with um gwith ptro and his lifestyle company goop, which has been a huge success, but it actually turns out that the similarities seem to be much more with this Flamingo real estate firm, this is something that was established during the lockdowns where there was a stylist, Richard Christensen, who started doing a kind of delivery service with food but very well presented and then it became very popular and he expanded it to all kinds of products and Megan was reportedly willing to do business with him, that has not happened. making her own brand, but we see in the vast areas of trademark applications that it seems like Megan is hoping to have something similar and the name is quite, you know, it's a pretty generic name that makes you wonder where they are. living in monito um Flamingo Estate also sounds like a retirement home, doesn't it?
Yeah, I'd really like to retire to the Flamingo Estate, although Joe, it's a hugely expensive thing, and obviously I'm talking about so many famous names, you know? kind of lifestyle brands, some have been successful, some haven't, so you know, we wait to see how successful this one will be. How is your Royal Lifestyle brand doing? I keep telling Richard to release a calendar for Palace fans. We have discussed that. Haven't we done it behind the scenes? Let's move on, let's get some momentum going for that Mr. May, the Card of Eden, someone just said in my Richard, sorry, Rebecca, at the end of Tom Bow's article, which we'll link to in the description below for those. those who want to read it basically say that if we ignore Megan's brand building we risk damaging Britain's biggest brand, the royal family, that's pretty dramatic isn't it?
And this is why I don't tend to agree with Tom Bow, because I just think they are, they're two totally different things, you know, you can't compare it and I say that because we've seen Sarah Dases from York do it and I don't think which has damaged the brand massively, I mean we've seen it a few years ago, you had a brilliant scoop about Peter Phillips whipping milk in China, that was so embarrassing, let's not even talk about it, but I say it was embarrassing, but you know what that the Rawal family has moved on, so I, I.
I don't agree with Tom, I don't think he's B because I also think people see him for what he is and can differentiate him from what they do here, yeah, I mean, frankly, it would be great if it was a hit. I know if Harry and Megan can make a lot of money with this American Rivier Orchard brand, they won't need to be, you know, giving Netflix shows, interviews and books that write all about their ties to the royal family, so I say, good luck. I think that's a good point for the princess and the section of the show and her son Peter Phillips paid tribute to her in an interview on Australian television this week.
What did Richard say as our official Peter Phillips Watcher? Interesting interview actually, worth watching if Viers can, he talked about a lot of things, gave some interesting insights about King Charles and his treatment, and Catherine and William, and how determined the king was to keep working and when. He approaches her mother, Princess Anne, and talks to her about her dedication to her duty, something we've discussed for a long time here, and also about how she chooses causes that aren't necessarily very fashionable. You know, there are those causes that could attract her. It's talked about in posh circles, but she's willing to put in the effort and he said that when she comes home after all her commitments, it seems like she's just as put together, you know, she's got the horses, the dogs, the family, her husband. and everything is um.
She is as enthusiastic about her home life as she is about her work life. I love how it all fits together, although I mean, yeah, I think it all comes down to good organization and there's a lot we can do. learn from Princess and I think we really can, she needs to launch the Lifestyle brand and the book that tells us how to do it all. We need to forget about the American Riviera auction, we want you to know that gler Farm doesn't exactly imagine it. There's no I nonsense about liking princesses. stop worrying, stop fucking around, move on, that's going to be a one page book, but on her day in Scotland on Monday, Rebecca really summed up how busy she is, how well she was doing, she actually spent two days in Scotland this week and she had eight engagements in those two days, you know and I, you know, I don't want to be UNC and she emphasized her age, but now she's a lady, you know, she's over 70 and you know, incredible amounts. of energy, so he was doing everything from shops to farms, when there was a very moving moment where he went to the Lockaby memorial, obviously because of the air disaster that happened there very tragically several years ago, and there was a moment in which she actually seemed to be so moved that she was crying and we don't see that often in the Princess Royal, as you say, she is remarkably level-headed. um.
I just think what we've seen in the last few years, the loss of Queen Elizabeth, the loss of Prince Philip and obviously now her brother's cancer treatment. I think people are appreciating what she has done solidly behind the scenes for so long for so many years without much ceremony, not exactly and she wouldn't do it. I know people who work with her and she doesn't. I want the fuss, she doesn't invite the media to her engagements unless she really needs to, she just wants to go out, meet people and doesn't really care if people notice or publicly thank her for it, oh my god yeah it really was.
I'd like all the fuss, don't you think? What is the point? Otherwise, give me the fuss anyway. We thought we'd mark this Easter with a look at the Royals at this time of year in times gone by and there really are some beautiful images here, enjoy them. Oh well, we wish all of you and the royal family a very peaceful and happy Easter. My thanks to Richard Rebecca and you for watching, see you next week, bye.
