y time Jacqueline launches something, it always ends in some kind of controversy and the launch of her new brand is proving to be no different recently. Jacqueline has been quite low. And for herself, she hasn't been in any drama lately and it seems like she's been focusing on her brand Jacqueline Cosmetics. Well, Jaclyn decided she wanted to expand her business outside of cosmetics and announced her new business venture called cozy, which is a loungewear and comfort line Jacqueline wrote a little introduction to her line that says Meet Cozy, a comfortable collection created by Beauty Mogul, an entrepreneur.

More Interesting Facts About,

jaclyn hill s biggest mistake ever...

He has slippers for thirty. dollars, a single pair of socks for 24 and a blanket for 140. Many fans simply think that everything is too expensive writing for this amount. I would rather go to Nordstrom and buy the soft Ugg blanket or Barefoot Dreams, at least those are brands we are. I am familiar and know up to 140 for a blanket, buy these prices are ridiculous for sleepwear and I have to agree, obviously I didn't buy anything so I can't speak for the quality but judging by the pictures alone, Looks like basic stuff you'd find a winner for half the price.

I was expecting the softest blankets for that price, but it looks like any basic blanket you'd find at any department store, but the prices aren't unique. The main thing people are angry about is that Jacqueline copied another Creator's name when Jacqueline first announced the brand, a lot of people thought that name sounds familiar and that's because Kaelyn Nicholson has a long history . brand called clothing and although the brands are pronounced differently they both start with a k and are spelled exactly the same way now if Jaclyn and Kailyn were in the same online space and if what they were selling was completely different then they would have the same name. it wouldn't be that big of a problem since they sell similar things like loungewear and since we both create our own brands, things could get pretty confusing and of course Jaclyn's brand would dominate the kalens.

Jacqueline has a huge audience, so people would probably associate her. that name with Jaclyn's brand, her stuff would appear in search results instead of Keelan's and it would have a negative impact on Kalin's sales, not to mention that for Kalin it's not just a clothing line, it's literally her entire brand, you have so many streams of your business. under the Ko umbrella, from her podcast to her yoga, and something even more fun is that in Jaclyn's Reveal video she talked about how difficult it was to choose a name for the brand, she said she went through tons of names, made up names that didn't they weren't even words and everything was taken my new brand is called cozy you have no idea how hard it was to name this brand we probably went through 50 names everything was taken everything was a trademark oh my god we even came up with words like created words which isn't even a real word and they were still taken and they were still trademarked.
I was like, are you kidding me?, like everything had already been thought of, it wasn't easy, but surely if Jaclyn had researched the name that much, he would have stumbled upon Caitlyn's brand like literally. the exact same name is even spelled the same and people don't let Jacqueline get away with it. Her entire comments section under her video of her Reveal is full of comments criticizing her for stealing her name. I will never associate codes with anyone but Kailyn, you really could. I chose anything else, Jacqueline, I love you girl, but Kayla Nicholson has had a brand because for years it's so sad, stealing from another Creator is never okay.
Many people have been telling Kailyn that she needs to sue and take Jacqueline to court, but that is not the path Kaelyn has decided to take a few days ago Caitlyn posted a video titled saying goodbye to Coz where she talks about everything that happened, from learning about the brand to contacting the owner, also known as Jacqueline, although she never mentions her. name and why he decided to close the brand, so I started with everything code related in 2017. It originally started as a store and it had hoodies, it also had loungewear, it had mugs, it had a couple of different things and it was just shipping Everything I bought in bulk and shipped it to my apartment in Toronto and then shipped it myself to customers and even then I was overwhelmed by the support I had because I started as a store but also as a publisher that was publishing my books below, so I published my ebook, feels below, I published catcher below, I self-published, but I self-published through my business, so codes were published and there was the code store, it became a coach blog, it became a different YouTube channel and, unknowingly, I think what it became for me was this separate entity that I was able to grow online that was different from me sharing my personal life and that allowed me to create this comforting atmosphere online.
A side business that wasn't so directly tied to me and my personal life, sharing Vlogs, like I said before, Kohl's was more than a store for Kailyn, she had so many businesses and projects under the code name, that's why it was a huge success. . because her cozy could be another of Jaclyn's businesses that she ends up leaving, but for Kalin it was much more. Caitlyn continued to talk about the costs associated with opening the clothing that she had to incorporate, she had to pay lawyers and there. There were a lot of startup costs to get the business up and running.
She also admitted that at that time she was very naive about protecting herself in the business and she never registered her company's trademark. The trademark is something I didn't originally do. I was very naive in the business. Global incorporation in Canada definitely gave me some protection, but not enough, and it's no excuse, but I naively thought that no one in the same field that I would care about would think of the same thing. Kalyn said around the second week of October. She started receiving messages and they were tagging her in a post from an Instagram account with a name similar to hers.
The account already had a few hundred followers and it became clear to me that this account would most likely soon become an influencer business when I found it. this Instagram this Instagram only had like 300 followers at the time and only one post from July and remember it was from July because that's going to be important in a moment so I posted a comment on that Instagram post that only had a couple hundred followers. I like it. I'm just saying, Hey, I don't know if this is someone's brand launch, but it's me, and maybe you didn't know I existed, but now you might.
I am a YouTuber. I have a brand called All Things Codes. didn't create the Cozy aesthetic by any means and there's definitely enough cake to go around, like I don't know what this brand is supposed to be right now, like it's a huge lifestyle brand umbrella like the one I've created, that is incredible. if it's just merchandise that's also awesome, like comfortable, comforting clothing, that's awesome too, but would you mind using Any other name? She also talked about how when you search because her brand and her website were the first thing that came up and she knew that with this influencer following her quickly she would be pushed down and overshadowed by Jaclyn's brand.
She addressed comments from people saying, "Oh, there are tons of companies named because already, but Kailyn said this is different in terms of following in terms of you know." what did you grow your influence on being YouTube and creating online content that is very similar the person who runs a restaurant the person who is a DJ the person who has a radio station doesn't have a similar following doesn't have similar startups do you know where it came from where they started Kalyn said what bothered her the most was that instead of this Creator reaching out to her and trying to talk things through or come to some kind of agreement, they responded by posting a real name with a cozy name with a TM. bold symbol people were calling out Jacqueline or for MT's post weeks ago writing if this is the answer to the problem then I'm so disappointed by this behavior it's the MT for me Caitlyn said the whole answer didn't really sit well with me She, especially since Jacqueline didn't actually have the name registered as soon as she found out what Jacqueline was doing, started the trademark code process, her lawyers told her that she could still fight for her trademark and if she could get the trademark was approved before. the other welcoming, she would have a better chance of winning any trademark lawsuit especially in the US, I am now Canadian and my company is incorporated in Canada so I can go through the process in the US, they definitely favor whoever applies first so instantly when we found out they hadn't applied and I checked back a week and a week later and they still hadn't applied and my lawyer assumed it was because this person was waiting for their first sale, because if you have sold something under a brand name, the trademark filing process is very different, we assumed that you were waiting until the day of your launch to file your trademark because it would be a different process, which gave me some time to file mine first, but here's the question if Jacqueline got her trademark. approved first it would have cost Kalin that much money to start any kind of legal proceedings against her her lawyer told her it would be around 95,000 and since she is Canadian it would have ended up costing her a lot more Caitlyn decided she didn't want to legally pursue anything that she knew would cause a lot of drama and he just didn't want to have anything to do with it, so he decided not to register his trademark and stay away from codes forever.
She will shift her focus to rebranding and doing something even better. If I mean I lose tracking through rebranding and even if there is work that ends up being lost by dropping the pose, I think I actually might have needed this push, you know, it wouldn't have come to this. If this didn't happen, then I'm not thanking you in any way, definitely not, but I will give credit to the experience, not the person's brand, experience and she has been getting a lot of support on her video, this is what the people had to do. Say when others go down, respond by going up, you have much more class than her.
The name can be taken, but the passion, the love, the effort, the creativity, the sleepless nights, the stressful days and everything you did to create more than just a brand name to create the community. The positivity, the security, the atmosphere can never be taken away from you, no matter how much the name represents a name, it is also just a name, everything you did to create the codes. The community is still here and we all continue to greatly appreciate all of you. I'm excited for everything to come, so yeah, it's really good that Kaelyn still has the support of her fans, but it's still a really horrible situation.
I can't imagine working that hard to build a name on the internet and build a brand. from scratch and having it stolen by someone in her own community so far Jacqueline hasn't responded or addressed the situation anyway guys let me know what you think about everything below and I'll see you next time.
