Business tycoon Peter Whan talks to his newly created robot David, who asks him about his own creator Peter. He suggests that they both discover who created humans, to which David asserts his superiority by stating that he will never die, unlike Peter, who will eventually age and perish. The scene changes to Covenant, a massive spaceship transporting people to the potentially habitable planet Oray 6, a robot. named Walter, resembling David, is seen on the spaceship recharging the

grid and performing routine checks on the crew and embryos, however, the Nutrino explosion damages the ship, causing Walter to wake up the crew.

Tragically, Captain Jacob Branson and many others did not survive the following incident. Leard struggles to breathe, prompting Karen to radio for help and begins transporting him back to the Lando. Similarly, Tom also experiences difficulty breathing while Leadwood, on the road, begins coughing up blood and Karen rushes off. She takes him to the medical bay with the help of Maggie Ferris, who remained on the Lander.

Ferris, shocked by Lew's condition, locks them in the medical bay. Ferris retrieves a gun and alerts Aram to rush to the Lander. A horrible alien creature shot out of Leed's back, killing him in terror. she begs Ferris to let her go, but the creature attacks and kills her. Farris returns to the medical bay and attempts to shoot the creature, causing the lander to catch fire and explode in Sou Landa. Tom experiences a similar fate when the alien creature leaves his body and escapes. Horrified, everyone is separated from the Covenant due to the destruction of Earth, they try to establish communication but are attacked by alien creatures in the fight, Water loses a hand and although they manage to kill one creature, they lose two crew members, Suddenly a bright light and a loud noise scare away the remaining creature and they were guided to the fountain of the temple-like structure filled with dead humanoids inside, making their savior David a robot who reveals that he arrived on the planet with Dr.

Elizabeth Shaw a decade before Prometheus. David explains that the virus was accidentally released from the ships which wiped out the entire native population and Shaw died in the accident worried about possible infection among the crew. Captain Orin asks David about the virus, but David cryptically replies that it will be discovered by the expedition team. He attempts to contact the Covenant, but is prevented by a severe storm during this time. David and Walter bond with David teaching Walter how to play the flute. David confides in Walter about her affection for Dr. Shawn and describes her as one of the kindest people he has ever met.

He then takes Walter to Shaw's grave and places a flower on it. Captain Aurin acknowledges to Daniels that he was right about the planet and expressed regret for his decision to land, as they already lost five members later, the fast-growing Ellen creature that had previously escaped from the poachers. he returns and kills the Renthal crew member. David arrives on the scene and attempts to communicate with the creature, but Aurin intervenes and shoots him, angering David. Auron then confronts David by threatening him at gunpoint to reveal the truth about the planet. David takes Orum to his laboratory where he reveals that he created the aliens by releasing the virus and conducting experiments.

Surprised, Orum is led to a chamber filled with alien capsules where David urges him to look inside while Orm looks inside a capsule, is attacked and

killed

by an exploding alien creature. Meanwhile, from behind him, the Expedition team manages to reconnect with the Covenant and plan to extract the surviving crew members. Daniels informs Tennesse of her wife Farah's death when he requests to speak to her, leaving him silent but determined to rescue the remaining crew members, the team begins. Searching for Oram and Renthal while Tennessee repairs to recover them on the Lando, a crew member discovers Renil's body while Walter discovers Dr.

Shaw's stuffed corpse, indicating that David used her for experiments. This reveals that the tomb shown by David was fake like her. Walter, never buried, confronts David for deliberately releasing the virus on the planet, but David defends his actions, believing that humans are inferior and should not explore space. The disagreement escalates and David fakes Walter stabbing him in the neck while Cole and Chief L search for Captain Aurin. and Cole finds Or's body before being attacked by a creature images to escape and reunite with Lope but both are attacked by the creature the creature kills Cole and manages to escape Daniels discovers a room full of scrolls detailing David's experiments on the planet, including her experiments with Dr.

Sha David finds her reviewing the Scrolls and attacks her, but Walter comes to rescue her. Daniels escapes while Walter confronts David, who has turned his back to see Walter alive, but Walter explains that he has an enhanced model capable of healing himself, Daniels. and Lope regroup and head to the Lander to be extracted by Tennessee. Walter then joins them and informs them that David is dead. An alien creature attacks the Lander before they can leave, but they manage to kill it and return safely to the Covenant the next day. Daniels and Tennessee discover that another alien creature has emerged from L's chest killing him with a creature loose in the Covenant.

He also kills Rick and Upworth while they were bathing Tennessee and Daniels managed to lure the creature into the ship's bay and trap it in a construction vehicle. The creature attempts to escape but is impaled by the spikes of another vehicle, sending it into space. The Covenant resumes its mission. Travel to Arug 6 and the surviving crew members Tennessee and Daniels return to their capsule. While Walter helps Daniels into her capsule, she asks him about helping her build a cabin by the lake. Walter seems confused, leading Daniels to realize that he is actually David. She struggles to escape her stasis pod, but eventually falls asleep.

David goes to the cargo bay containing the colonist and embryos using the code to open. At the door he plays his favorite music and then places two alien embryos in cult storage along with the human eggs posing as Walter. He records a log stating that all crew members except Daniels and Tennessee died in a solar flare incident.
