course and next year, you can feel filled with anxiety when you're getting information left right and center and it all gets condensed into one or two. years, I often say that the training year seems like an intensive course and that is what it is, but it is important to have a little perspective here in the sense that these years or this year or two, regardless of

your

entire teaching career, You can just need to do these things that you don't like to have freedom in

your

own classroom.

What's really important to remember is that when you're qualified, the classroom becomes yours. If you talk to any teacher, they will tell you. The training year and the year after are completely different to what it means to have your own classroom, so give it a little chance number two, everyone goes through it. I haven't met anyone, anyone who has gone through the PGC, the training. year, what has helped me overcome many obstacles in life is just thinking that you know if those people can do it, I can do it and I know it sounds really corny, but if you really think about it, if millions of people can be a Master , why can't I have that mindset of realizing that people are going through it too and yet they are qualified?

It's something that's really important to remember. What's really important to remember as well is that this is temporary. Many people have been through that. mentality of oh my gosh, this is a lot and it will be a lot for a long time, but it's not temporary, just remember, like I said, you will grade and then you will have a completely different teaching experience, keep going, reach for number three. To the support network that surrounds you, I remember being in the course and it was as if every week people dropped out of the course and many people did so because they did not feel the support they had or rather they did not feel it. communicate with the support around you, so it is very important to communicate with the network around you.

If you are in college, you are covered by the welfare and counseling department. If it's in a school, it can be. that you need to talk to the CEO, so this is the person who is basically running the initial teacher training course, you may need to go from there and talk to the alliance or maybe you need to communicate more with your mentor, the mentor is the Person that you literally interact with on a daily basis, you take over some of their classes and they are in the room with you, so you are working with this person 24/7.
I remember some people, some people abandoned the course that I had planned. To the mentor now what you don't want to do and the really important thing is that you don't leave a career that you have wanted all your life or for which you worked hard because of someone else, no, your mentor is your first port of call. call and if they don't support you then you should go to the other companies I mentioned to get that support, the last thing you want to do is leave a course because of someone else which you will regret very much. and I've talked to many people who have felt that regret and have to start the year over, so make sure you take advantage of the support network around you and lastly, remember your why now, of course, what I want I mean, that's why you started.
A lot of people have come to my DMs talking about how you have kids struggling. You know, staying up all night making lesson plans and then having to wake up for the kids. You know things like that and I believe. about one of my friends in the course, nicole, shout out to you, nicole, if you're really looking, but I'm thinking about her because she has a little boy and in the course I was thinking how does she do this, but her little girl was why did she do that? It's important to carry that why with you, maybe you need to write it down, maybe you need to make it clear and come back to that in the difficult moments of the course, but why did you start? that you have a family and you want to be able to support it it is because this has been your lifelong dream to be able to be a teacher it is because you want to change your life you want to be an agent of change make sure you know your why and that will take you, I am sure that it's just the why that will take you along your course.
