Craft Room Tour 2023

this store has more things like ribbons, um felt, embroidery floss and baker's twine and things like that, it's all there so okay, so that's the bottom there and then up here. This is just an old unit I found. I've had it for years, but it works well for me to store my currently used media, so anyway, it's a nice place to keep them organized and then here's just another Stampin storage unit with my extra ink pads and, um. and then there's my watercolor markers and yeah, and then this little

tour

of what's on the walls here, a lot of this is art that I made or created um yeah, I just saved it and hung it up so um back to me desk, it's super clean right now, it doesn't normally look like this, there's usually a lot more stuff in here, but this is just a vintage ink or like stamp holder that I've had again for years, I found it in a vintage store. and um, yeah, it works perfect for my ink blending tools.

This is an old Caddy two that I've had for a long time and I like to have something like this on my desk to put my new items in just to keep them. in the front of my mind so I can see them and be inspired to create with them and use them instead of putting them away in drawers and bins behind me and forgetting I have them, so I like to keep my new things here so I can remember to try use it, okay, next is my cart, goodness rest, again I've had this for years.

I go back and forth between using it and not using it, but lately I've really enjoyed having it. So I'm sitting at my desk here and then I keep it next to me and I can easily access all of my most used tools, that's what I have here, so I'm going to take you, for a little

tour

, what's here, uh, paper towels, you always need paper towels, Tim Holtz's little paper cutter, I've got my partner here, uh, a little rag like, you know, lint-free, lint-free, kind of like my mix. The brushes are here and that little cart is from Hero Arts and then I just have a mix of different brushes of different sizes.

I've been using them mainly for my rust inks and I'm starting to wonder if I need other distress inks so I'll see what happens what happens there and then back here this is just an old metal container that I bought like at a

craft

store . I think it was like four plants or something and it's in the garden section and it works great for I put some of my frequently used adhesives in here to have my foam squares and stuff like that on the phone, tape that kind of stuff and then go up here to the top.

This is the new heat tool organizer from get this. thing to focus on a new thermal tool organizer from scrapbook.com and yes, it is becoming one of my new favorite storage tools for organizing things. I actually found it quite useful   uh it has this little opening here on the front that you can put in You, um, as you know, uh, plug in the outlet and it comes out like if you're going to put this on your desk, you actually have it on your desk. I'm using it to hold some of my most used extra things, like these. which I use almost every time I

craft

, you know, runner adhesive remover, glitter accents, water tape, runners, collage, medium mint tape and then, you know, I just got my scissors, spatulas, I mean many of the tools that I use very regularly.

I'm here, scissors, heat gun, two or two different heat guns, embossing gun and my heat tool for drying things, and then back here there's another one of those metal pots and in it I have my scrapbook. com, um silicone mat. um sticky mat here my score friend and my Misty. I like to have all those things that I use super close to me all the time and well, I think what else can I say about the rest. The only other thing left is the closet which I'll share with you too and since I just cleaned it out in the closet I only have an old bookshelf here for now and I only have my extra stuff in here so this is a little container of things like things extra scrap when I play with inks and sprays and stuff, and I tend to keep them in there until they build up too much and then I go through them and check to see if they're something I like.

I'm not going to use it or have been there for six months tired of it. um this little drawer again is just another one of those units and I'm just using it as a sort of junk storage drawer for now, um, which is perfect because it looks pretty but it's hidden away. I have my extra die cutting machine here, my Copic markers and down here and these little paper drawers. I'm pretty sure you can get this kind of stuff like on Amazon and stuff. I have every drawer labeled with an old school label maker and I have my um like my Tim Holtz because that means sticking with the ranger papers or just finding that the quality of them suits what I do really well, so I've You know , a drawer for each of the main ones I use.

This is also a drawer for Neenah's classic cardstock that you can get at scrapbook.com. This is just writing paper and craft paper and then thick cardstock this small. The container here is from scrapbook.com and can be used for so many things right now that I have it to store a bunch of my extra cards, but I think it's called a small envelope organizer which holds the small scrapbook envelopes. com, which is perfect for storing dies, but also contains um Sizzix dies, they fit perfectly in there, so if you're looking for another storage option for your dies, this unit is fantastic for that, plus additional cardstock, like specialty cardstock with paper bright. and stuff like that, this is another Stadium storage unit from scrapbook.com that's fantastic and right now I've been repurposing it into sort of Christmas stamps and die cuts and stuff on patterned paper and stuff here, um, because I'm not going to Los I'll be using it for a while, so it helps me get them out of the way and, um, and again, it's not really something I'm going to use for probably a while, so yeah, so we're trying it again. um another plastic drawer um storage unit that I've had for a while but I know you can still find these in there this drawer has extra storage envelopes and Ziploc bags and things like that to store things in the chipboard drawer another junk drawer and then Down here I have two more wooden boxes, more junk storage, not really junk, but just extra stuff that I don't use much, like I have some vinyl in here.

I have something bigger, um uh. uh, texture roll type things that, you know, just the size of it doesn't tilt up, they can be stored anywhere else, I just have them here for now, I have these big envelopes here that are like 12 by 12 in size . I just have various types of specialty papers, extra white 12x12 cardstock, black cardstock, large, um, yeah, transparencies, and just 12 by 12 size stuff. I don't have a lot of that kind of stuff anymore because I don't really scrapbook. a lot um but I have a little bit so there it is and then this drawer is again another um junk storage drawer right now I have my um Splat box here which is usually also out in the

room

because I use it quite regularly.

It's a nice way to organize things a little and I had

room

for it, so, plus 12 by 12 storage envelopes, these are just some old collections of scrapbooking paper that I designed and don't want to part with. So I have them safely stored there and then, um, in this corner, this is a temporary thing for now, so I have a sewing machine up here that I'm going to try to find another place for because I use it pretty regularly. , so yeah, there you have it.
