There Was A Family Guy Video Game?

Mar 09, 2024
It seems like today all you see is a bunch of random content on YouTube of mine, yes that's right, today I thought it would be incredibly cool to take a look at the

video

game

Family Guy specifically, um, I know there's that Multiverse, but I have Personal Memories from this here Family Guy is a show that I really enjoyed growing up, but when I turned 20 I stopped watching it, but what I played more than my UMD of the first two seasons of Family Guy on my PSP was the Family Guy Video Game. I have fond memories of when my dad bought this

game

so we could play as the characters from the show we enjoyed together and just laugh at all the references and callbacks.

The more I think about it, my whole identity is very similar to Family. The guy with Peter remembers those time cutting jokes and I'm like, wait, remember this, uh, anyway, today I wanted to see if this game itself lives up to the memories I have of it or if it's better. keep it as a memory. Check out the

game Family Guy, that's not me, I have bad grammar, that's the official title, you could do with stopping following Justin Timberlake's advice, stop saying, regardless of how you feel about Family Guy or Don't love it or hate it, we are all pretty.

More Interesting Facts About,

there was a family guy video game...

I have a lot of experience with the program. I think, at least for me, when it first came out, it gave me my first experience with cartoons, being for adults. I'm pretty sure maybe I didn't understand any major political or current affairs jokes but I laughed at the funny man and his funny

family

what I do understand however is video games so October 17, 2006 the video game Family Guy I'm just going to add   the bully myself Family Guy, the video game released for the original PlayStation 2 Xbox and the PSP   coming from the high voltage software developers of classics like the country dance trilogy and the Victorious games and published by 2K Games, you can take control Peter Brian and Stewie as you go through a bunch of different levels, all based on scenarios or locations from Family Guy to The Video Game Goal comes to light, so any references to jokes or pranks beyond development of the game is clearly not here, so you should expect the same style of humor and references from previous seasons - specifically, the game itself is split into three separate games.

You will have three separate stories and missions with the three main characters containing unique gameplay. For Stewie's story, we follow him as he and his half-brother, his rival Bertram, trick him into destroying a PTV satellite dish on top. from the garage so none of them can use it as a mind control device, then crashes from the roof after being attacked by Bertram's attack helicopter which lands on Peter. This will be important to Peter's story, but Stewie has plans to track him down, which resulted in him leaving. inside Peter, but he actually escaped to his secret lair, where you have to stop him from launching a missile that has Rupert, Stewie's teddy bear, tied to it, which leads them to Duke it on the playground, where Bertram turns into a giant and after you defeat him, he just calls his mom and then leaves giving you the finger.

Peter's story follows him after the head trauma caused by the satellite, where he wakes up in a hospital thinking that Mr. Belvedere has his

family

and that he needs to go rescue them stopping for nothing on his pass while switching between different outfits or versions gags of himself that we've seen on the show, he ends up fighting some characters we've seen on the show plus all the old people and children, but that's neither here nor there One of his big fights is with the Black Knight, the which wins but also loses, only to wake up and hear all the destruction he had caused throughout the city before we finish Peter's story, since that is the end of the game.
What's going on with Brian Brian? The story is the most separated from the others, as it revolves around him trying to prove his innocence when he is arrested on accusations of breeding with Lois' father Carter's dog Sea Breeze, so you sneak around the levels avoiding the police and trying to gather the right information. evidence to prove that you didn't do it because the person who did it was Quagmire, that's where I'm going to leave that to Peter for the end of the game, you follow Peter to the drunk clam to wallow in his destructive habits, but maybe not he was wrong after all when he confronts Mr.
Belvedere, who, surprise, turns out to be the giant chicken in disguise, you know, that random chicken he has fought with on several occasions, well, here's another fight that really consists of some really bad quick time events where you end up defeating him but of course, in Family Guy style, the chicken survives to fight another day after beating this extremely short game. Your first thought should be what the hell did I just play no matter how you did it? Whatever I felt about the story or the jokes and references, some of it made sense. I know it's a big ask for a game based on Family Guy, but yeah, it was just a combination of other stories and moments from the show itself that honestly didn't feel right. very satisfying at the end of the game, it feels like the entire game is a joke where Peter says, hey, remember that time we were in a video game, but the biggest crime this game commits may lie in the gameplay more than the the history.
Take a look so you'll think you're a Family Guy fan. I'm 2K's Family Guy, as I mentioned, this game has this three-way style split between the three characters who play distinctly differently. Stewie's levels are a mix between a shooter and a platformer that constantly focuses on or and if we're going to keep the money here, this is a pretty stiff game even for the era it comes from, I mean the previous generation gave us players like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot and this game offers For us, depth perception in most cases feels completely non-existent as it would constantly feel like trial and error just to get the game to do what What are you trying to do.
Stewie's little shadow beneath him does essentially nothing to help you gauge where you are in relation to other objects when you go between them - aside from that clumsiness, shooting is pretty sporadic when you try to position your shots correctly. I say try because hell, maybe the word rigid wasn't as clear as I needed it to be. being one goes beyond that and a lot of it feels tedious or bland and sometimes you can use the mind control of others to perform certain tasks in the game as another little extra gameplay advantage for Stewie. It's great to take control of those little moments. other random characters, but they result in solving some of the most basic puzzles I've ever seen and somehow, despite all that, this isn't even the worst game.
In-game loop we'll talk about shortly, let's jump into Peter's game. the beat em up style of play where he goes around and hits people like they are old people and children, whether they deserved it, that's not for me to decide because of the head injury throughout the game, he has different looks, but the depth of its gameplay is Sometimes you just fight with clunky mechanics that don't always register your hits and some really bad timing events, fast or should I say slow, there really isn't much to do, it's not the worst loop of game of the game, but that doesn't make it really good. o It's very frustrating to constantly try and fail to hit opponents, especially when everyone is surrounding you and then let's delve into Brian's gameplay, his levels are based on stealth, which let me say that as I've become more old man with stealth in video games, puts me to sleep.
No offense to those who love it, I'm very happy for you, but I'd rather play a game than sneak around and this is coming from someone who really loved the Splinter Cell franchise, the Sly Cooper franchise, and so many others based on stealth. games, it's not for me anymore, but hey, maybe one day that will change again as Brian you sneak around different levels to collect the necessary checklist of items without being directly caught and sometimes caught by the people around you. They force you to urinate. he leaves you in a different puddle as you are completely vulnerable and can't do anything about it if it happens, the game here feels quite boring, quite boring in a mixed variety and makes it difficult for you to traverse the stage or get stuck. constantly because there are too many characters that are unavoidable to be seen, this is easily my least favorite game.
Get out of all three. I think in some ways it's worse than stews, but for many other reasons, sure, it doesn't feel as stiff, but it doesn't feel fun either and that's the fundamental problem with the game, as I said in other videos, for licensed video games like This, as long as they consolidate the aesthetics of the program through the characters in the environment, many things can be done. Forgiven if that's at least good, this game is a good example of getting Family Guy right, but not so much the gameplay part. Many other licensed games generally fall short in the gameplay aspect as well, but they redeem themselves a bit.
They are generally forgettable or a base of just okay, here the playability of all the characters falls short thanks to the rigid controls, boring tasks and attacks not registering. Fighting the controls is the real villain of this game, unfortunately another problem is how the game deals with references. where it just feels like a copy of the series one for one, now just playing them with the game's shortcomings being a fan of the early years of Family Guy in general, at least for me, makes it fun to remember all these references, but Other than a few member berries, I'd rather rewatch the show than experience it through this medium.
I enjoy the look of the game, although I think the locations we visited visually represent Family Guy well and, to be fair, the same level of Family. The boy comedy at that time is also still there. I just wish the game itself was better. The random mini-games, like throwing a sexy party, are fun, but there isn't much to play as this game is definitely best left to my enjoyment of replaying it. with my dad when it came out but other than that I wouldn't recommend going back and playing it, if you have any memories of it maybe we should check out the back of the 2012 game Multiverse, soon let me know if you should revisit it and let me Know your opinion about this game in the comments below.
