anything

i'm embarrassed by the mess yes, in fact i am sheila is so embarrassed by her chaotic ways that she keeps it a secret from her friends and family all her mess is hidden in her office and in their summer house at the bottom of the garden, surprisingly, the rest of their house is fine, it is immaculate forever, in particular, when Sheila downsized after her husband Rob died 11

She had so much crap because I'm an absolute terror. I would never want to part with things early to retire. Sheila has decided it's time for a change. I don't want to live like this once I'm clutter-free. I can just sit there with a nice glass of wine, I'd love to, well sheila, you're in luck, here come Curtis and Marianne, our experts and clear. Curtis has worked in the antiques trade for 25 years, so he is well versed in finding unused items to sell. Oh, hello, it's a pleasure. See you and it's good to see you and professional housekeeper Marianne knows exactly how to tidy up a messy house.

Wow, as Marianne's eyes are open to Sheila's first room of shame. The office overflowing. This is so different from the rest of the house that you can't even. Enter the door Curtis heads to the second room of shame, the bustling summer house in the hope that Sheila's horde can make some money. Wow, this is busy, yeah, as you can see, it's an absolute mess, isn't it now? What are we doing here? Now I wanted you to see these alien magazines belong to my son, right, but he's very happy to let me have them. There are 25. I don't know much about magazines.
Well, the problem is that neither Curtis nor I. My son seems to think they are worth something, everything is worth something, doesn't it? That's the good news and also, yeah, aren't we lucky now that we have the benefit of the Internet? Collectors around the world would love it if they could hit the sales. point with a click of a button yes, I can't promise you a figure, although no, all I can say is that I will find them a home and get you some money, and Curtis sees something else in the corner that he might be able to clean up some money, well, that's a record player from 1955.
A friend of my husband's just gave it to him, yes, and I think at some point he was going to try to repair it, but he never managed to do it. Look at it. It's so retro and it's actually in pretty good condition, don't you think? Yes I believe it. Yeah, I mean, he's 60 years old. Yes, if it worked, it would be fabulous. Yes. As for the value, I don't think it's going to be big. Not money, but if it's another 40 or 50 pounds it helps, isn't that something very extraordinary about this? No, I don't know why I just like the way it looks in the office.
Marianne and Sheila begin to examine it. the disorder and not everything is garbage. Do you want to keep the bags? Yeah, well, I want to try to sell them if I can, especially that one because it's a designer bag. Oh, that's Easter. Yes, exactly, it's a good find. Yes, that is now. Sheila has the selling bug, she is quick with our Marianne, what's up with this Sheila? Oh yeah, she now she look I like it too, yeah, there are so many fish that my friends will tell you that, well,

anything

, there are golden children, I have it for ten.
Of them, well, Sheila is eager to make some money. Sheila has two cups here. Okay, oh, definitely, yes, and there's a shadow there. Marianne who can go to charities. Well, she look, we have a bag

full

. That's brilliant. Julia is actually making things pretty easy. To me, she is convinced that she wants to leave things as they are. All I'm doing is giving her that little seal of approval and helping her make those decisions. Sheila is definitely learning how to tidy up and she's also willing to cash in on an item she bagged as a bargain.
I bought that right in my son's school jumble many years ago for 20p 20p. I didn't even realize it was worth anything, but we checked online and saw it was worth around £150. Sheila discovered that this is a piece. of the desirable Scottish weens pottery it is real it is in good condition they still cost reasonable money oh well but I can't see where that figure comes from one thing is for sure it is worth over 20p absolutely another item to take away Me Weems pottery is highly collectible and is still hand painted using original techniques. She also has some famous fans, Queen Elton John, so I hope I can sell Sheila's vars and make a profit from Marianne's trip to the country, well not quite, it's Sheila's summer house at the bottom of the garden .
She wants to understand exactly how much of Sheila's horde are remains of her children and memories of her husband. Oh look, here we have Spider-Man. I really feel for Sheila. She has years of clutter in those two rooms that you just can't get rid of, which is why I'm here to help. I'm still looking for items to sell. Curtis is holding a watch that Sheila bought for her husband, Rob, in New York at the time. that cost me about 200 and I'm going back to 1969, you can see that one, it's been loved mm-hmm worn it a lot worn it a lot it's a lovely watch isn't it?
It's lovely, yes, and it's also in the original box, the original box is fabulous, of course the strap isn't very good, right? But that's not true. It is a great concern. You have the box in excellent condition. You even have the documentation. That's right, I would be disappointed if this watch went to auction and didn't fetch between £150 and £200 and Sheila is also willing to part with her own designer watch for the right price. I wore it for a while, but I found that it looks too much like a men's watch. It's old but not very old.
No, I would suggest £150 would be realistic. Yes, recover a fantastic watch. I don't think we're doing that bad. No, we are doing it. Well enough, the price of second hand watches fluctuates with fashion, but these mechanically designed 20th century watches were built to last, are of very good quality and are sometimes made in limited editions, in fact some of premium brands have almost doubled in price in the last decade. He has searched everywhere in Sheila's mess for items to sell and taken the comics. Two look at the Weems bars and the record player. He hopes to earn between three and four hundred pounds.
I don't really understand it because it's almost like what's there. she is hoarding for someone else. I have a little work on this because there are some items and they could be a great value, but if I don't find the right buyer, she won't get the money she's looking for, so she'll be disappointed. So I have a lot of work to do. I'm going to stay and chat with Sheila. She orders some of these things and starts off well. I will continue selling. Good luck. See you later. Marianne. He has a task on his hands to help make sure Sheila doesn't shirk the responsibilities of cleaning those two rooms and Curtis has a lot of money to try to make with his staff, so he heads to Glasgow to take Sheila's two watches to a jeweler. specialized that he has given to Sheila.
Some pretty high expectations, so the pressure is on to get the best price first to be valued. The Lucian Picard men's watch is a nice watch, it is vintage, it has had some work done on it, but to be honest we would offer a hundred quid for this. no more, no more, not exactly the assessment Curtis expected. I can't tempt you to 125. Maybe I'd go to one, two, five. Can I take a look inside? Please, I would be happy to see my inside here with Yo, let's see if I can open it. Martin takes great care when opening the watch to examine the mechanism inside.
Yes, very good Swiss movement. It is simply a beautiful dress watch in an unusual box. My wife will kill me with £125 in cash. Good news, well one less, what about Sheila's Gucci watch? The problem with this is that it is gold plated. Yes, if it was stainless steel or gold, then we can polish and restore it to be new because it is gold plated. It's not a watch we would really be interested in buying, so I got the Gucci watch back for £125. You just have to do some paperwork and then we can solve it. I sold one of Sheila's watches and got £125.
So, that's more than she thought. The Gucci watch, although it is coming back, is good news. You put a free battery in it. That's an item marked off Sheila's sales list, but she's not the only one asking our expert

hoarder

s for help. So we have come. to elgin, a peaceful town in the north east of scotland, peter, yes, what rice do you want, basmati? Well, I say peaceful, we got some the other day. Meet John and Peter, retired restaurateurs and civil partners, artichoke spears, they are well prepared for any occasion, including the outbreak of war, apparently. cases of war we have some of that some of this nothing like being prepared in case your modest kitchen said I'm full a long time ago tin things and it froze and stuff and this that and the other and in the garage your four refrigerators Additional Freezers have been filled to the point of bursting, spilled food has also found its way into the most unlikely places under the bed in my room.
Old crab boxes filled with food such as dried food for making pies and, as befits two men who spent years running a restaurant, there are plenty of dishes in case they ever need to feed a small army, I think that's the one at the taj mahal who seems to be struggling with his two bedroom bungalows to cope these two catering collectors have finally decided to reduce their mess, it's about time we did something with our collections, Curtis is available to help and is eager to feast with John and Peter's collectibles and earn them some money. The first menu item for Curtis is plates full of dishes.
We had a Marilyn Monroe theme and we had all the other dishes. at the top of the shelves then when Diana died we picked up her plates and changed the name of the restaurant from the bistro to sailing in the wind now we don't have room for them, we used to have them on the shelves up there but Good time to let them go, I think how much did you pay for these between £15 and £18 or £20? It all depends on the years. John and Peter have accumulated over a hundred decorative plates and estimate they must have spent over a thousand dollars.
You won't get your money back with them, some will be more popular than others, I think the Marilyn Monroe ones and the Princess Diana ones are at the top, so I'm going to remove them, I'll do my best, wonderful. Decorative plates were very popular during the 1970s and 1980s and were produced as souvenirs so that people could remember royal weddings, royal births, but the reality is that they are not popular today and their value sometimes depends only of the materials with which they are made. Because they weren't great quality, but John and Peter's dishes are in very good condition and there are still many to arrive.
Sheila is taking Marianne's advice to heart. We have been totally ruthless, haven't we? ser and curtis gets into trouble in glasgow let's not waste time not being able to hit the plate not in essex sheila has decided to confess her secret hiding place i am an absolute terror i would never want to part with things and in elgin john's plate collecting days and peter have come to an end it's time to let them go i think curtis is looking for clutter to sell and discovers some royal memorabilia in the living room dam be honored by her majesty let's talk about this queen victoria print why is it in yourhome?
Well we like queen victoria's royal family and you want to get rid of it now yeah okay so it's an impression obviously yes and we know it's an impression for two reasons one because even under the glass you can see it's quite flat and it's not watercolor otherwise it would have faded so it's a print and it's faded yeah that's when it gets a little wet and starts to turn slightly brown if it's contemporary with your life that's the big question well I'm going to suggest it's after 1901, they wouldn't have been released because she left without breaking it down too much like I do.
I can see the original sticker on the back and someone just put tape over it to keep it on. You can see the board and it's good quality, but it's pretty and it's original. John paid a hundred pounds for the printing many years ago. and he hopes to recover at least half of that. Well, this might be the tricky moment in this conversation. She is not the most popular human being on the planet from a collecting standpoint. She could probably tell we're weighing between 25 and 30 pounds. Oh, we're not amused and Queen Victoria doesn't seem very excited either.
John is disappointed, but the reality is that unless they are prints numbered and signed by an artist, they are relatively worthless to a collector. Queen Victoria may not turn them into a fortune. but luckily this house is full of old porcelain, some of it is definitely off limits, but John has three porcelain figurines that he hopes will earn him some money. I don't think they're that old. Okay, I don't think they've gone back to that time. golden age of the Dresden factory from 17 50 67. If they were, then you would buy a new car and have a pretty nice cruiser, but they are very well made, I must say that this lattice reminds me a little of Belik. which is another manufacturer of really fine porcelain and ceramics made in Ireland.
It's not a porcelain manufacturer that comes to mind, so for me it's a bit of research just to make sure we're not missing anything other than quality. A good group, isn't it? They're not just, that's right individually, yeah, yeah, there's just a little damage and that's our little lady. She lost her fault, I lost her foot, but the quality is good so I think we should look at £30.50 for something like this, so for Curtis it's just a matter of finding a buyer for this footless friend in the house Sheila's coastal-style summer cottage in Essex, which is currently little more than a shed of shame.
Marianne helps Sheila shoot through the trash first. I'm going to ask you what you are going to do with this sleeping bag. Well, I don't know, it might be useful to someone if I wash it or not. No, do you know what my love for dogs is? On this, there you go, perfect, you can have it for your dog, I have it for the dogs, you certainly can, well, that's a done thing, right? Yeah, what's with these DVDs somewhere around here? There is a Playstation and they are worth it. A few pounds of books that I'm going to keep because they're going to be on my shelves because this is going to be my reading room.
Here we have a tennis racket that can go to charity, that's what I'm thinking, yes, definitely. You know we've been totally ruthless, right? Well, you have to be well, yes, because otherwise you will continue to hold on to things, oh Sheila, just keep thinking of the long days of rest that await you in your summer hut. Marianne is about to pass. Leave Sheila alone, they have made progress in the office and although the amount of mess in the summer house is discouraging, Marianne is confident that Sheila is up to the task, Sheila seems very interested in cleaning up the rest of the things that he no longer wants. which will therefore end up turning the summer house into that relaxing family space she's been longing for, so really my job is done so I'm going to let her get on with it in Elgin.
Peter took Curtis to the garage to check out a favorite family heirloom the throne you want to get rid of this yeah okay did you use it when you were a kid? I did it, yeah, ah, so there's a little bit of history here, yeah, my grandma better be over a hundred years old and she has no nuts and bolts, so it's all dowels and glue. I guess whoever made this was a real craftsman and it is a new upholstery that is new, we had it, yes it is a family piece, it is quite sad to say yes we have it.
We haven't gotten around to it since we moved here, we just don't have the space. The trend for younger people today is that they go to department stores and buy modern, retro-looking things, right? Yes, I think the bidding would stop. on a busy auction day for about £80 or £90, then you have to take out the commission, that's it, you'll get a check for £65. It's just that no, you are emotionally attached to this, yes, and the more we talk about it, the more I feel like I need to convince you not to get rid of it. Yeah, you know what?
I don't want you to sell it. No, I do not want to. You're supposed to take things to sell to Curtis. Peter's beautiful chair gains a respite, let's hope some space can be made inside to house it soon, so let me get this straight. I've just convinced Peter not to sell something that could make them £65-£70, but the reality is that he's not in this market. I'm going to get the money he wants. I did the right thing? Well, the answer is: can I make enough money from everything else? Meanwhile, Marianne has joined John and Peter to help them get their lives in order and she heads to the conservatory, to the dining room.
She finds that it is not quite. ready for a dinner, right, what we have here the plants, how about the only thing that's blooming here? They want this to be a room for dining, eating and spending time together, but at the moment it looks like it's part of a parked greenhouse. storage, so this all needs to be completely cleaned up, really, hey, look, this might be a new look for me. Better ask John and Peter First. Marianne leaves with a large number of plates, three pieces of china, and an empress that is far from impressing Curtis.
I hope to reap a proper royal return for John and Peter. How do you feel today went? I have a little problem with this because it's all boot show stuff and you know what they know, it's all boot show stuff, both of them. They work pretty well together, don't they? Oh yeah, and they're happy to let things go, we just have to get rid of them for real and if it only makes a few cents, it's better than nothing. Well, I'm going to get off and see what. I can sell if it has arrived Curtis goes straight to work at an open-air market in Glasgow.
He meets up with Davey, who he hopes will buy John and Peter's plate collection. I would like to sell you many plates, many Princess Diana plates, yes. Portland, I don't need to continue, you can see what they were big fans of, right? Yes, as you can imagine, they spent quite a few quid on these, I don't know, they must spend over a thousand dollars on these must-haves. No, yes, I would be surprised, yes, they were a fortune, people thought at the time they bought them that they all had numbers, yes, and they were all going to have a price problem: maybe they sold about a million of them, well, the good.
The news is that they have not left these boxes. They are not in good condition. That's good. The second thing is that they are realistic, right? We talk about hitting the plate, no, here's a man who's been doing the job for a long time, yeah, come on, he's got to be worth two pounds of plate, ain't he? Maybe we'll sell them four for the antenna, there's not much profit. on it, okay, um 100 and oh, I thought you were going to continue so 100 110 130 120 yeah, great idea, I think that's a fair price. They were worried that they were going to shine a coconut.
There is really real meat. Curtis thinks he's struck a good deal. but he's not the only smooth operator in town, he's fine, thank you guys, thank you, good luck, get his plates here, five of each are still to come. Sheila calls an old friend to help her, but who is in charge of her? I'm trying to help you. get rid of him i don't want to bother you by saying no and marianne discovers the hidden truth behind john and peter's fascination with frieza's two three four see a bargain here for two or three in elgin our experts curtis and marianne are helping john and peter They clean out their greenhouse and garage, but Peter finds it difficult to part with some of his most sentimental items.
It's my grandmother's. You are emotionally attached to this. Yes, and in Essex he will soon be retiring. Sheila hopes to have an orderly life. In the future, once she is clutter-free, I can just sit there with a nice glass of wine. I would love that, with high hopes of making a nice profit on Sheila's items. Curtis took a bunch of Sheila's son's comics and now he has some news. I do. Tell Sheila I don't know much about comics, so we really had to do our homework here. We spoke to specialist distributors and they only gave us 50p per copy, so we went online and were lucky to find the right person. at the right time, a keen collector who ended up giving us £25 for the entire collection.
I'm happy the collector is happy and I hope Sheila is happy too. A total of £25, so it's £1 per copy. Remember if you are selling online. as much information as possible about the item, including photographs, so the buyer knows exactly what to expect in Essex, left to her own devices, Sheila is still buried in fully hangable bags, feeling overwhelmed by the enormity of the task what you have to do. reinforcements my friend mary she's going to help me she's fit for bossy boots anyway she'll say oh come on we'll do it all together so i think someone doing it with me stimulates me a little and there's no nonsense mary understands Straight to business, you have a lot of magazines and things there.
I can't really deal with that stuff because, oh, it might be worth something. I'm trying to help you. You need to get rid of them because I know what you are. Like you want to keep everything, but you have to be very, these could be worse than that, yeah, but they might not look good, yeah, there's one that's not worth it, no crap, that might be crap, no , no no. I want you to brush, look, that's why I need someone like you who possibly likes to be quite honest. I know you are my friend but you have to be positive while the lady is rg.
Bargy Curtis heads to Antique de la Ross to see if he can tempt her with Sheila's retro record player. He wanted to show you this record player just in case it's something you're interested in. I'm interested in seeing it. He takes me back. They are memories. It's like Cliff Richard when I still understand you. I have one and one of these are smaller why did retro suddenly become so fashionable ten years ago that being the skip couldn't reveal it? Could you not, the students, the varsity people who live in the West End here in glasgow want retro in their house why I don't know they just love it I want 50 quid for this that's fair, not for me, although yes, ok no well I thought I'd give it a try no joy from roz and after trying a Some other dealers and Internet Curtis had to admit defeat.
Now a vintage record player is great for vinyl fans, but this one unfortunately broke and they want to use it right away and you can't use it with a broken stylus in Elgin. Marianne discovers. There is a very important reason why John and Peter are ordering Peter lives with cancer and is currently in remission, so he and John are eager to undo their lives and make the most of every minute of life, so now you and John are just enjoying their time together, that's all, he wants to get rid of a lot of things that he doesn't necessarily need, yes, because at the end of the day, when we take out our clogs, he just skips, we can think that he is wonderful and worth a lot of money At the end of the day it's only what's worth to someone else, right?
And if they want it and if they want it, yes, from what Curtis has taken, hopefully it will make you enough so that you can do to enjoy together a little, tell me what you hope to do with the pennies that Curtis maybe earns from the articles , John said we'll buy another freezer, that's good, Peter can laugh about it, but what exactly is in those four freezers? so I'm going to be nosy and I'm going to take a look and see what you have, well take a look at the lamb legs, now I love lamb, yes, but don't you just have one, two, three, four, five, six, well, let's see, Peter. see a party eat one see a bargain I'll buy two or three more steaks and pork I bet it was because it was a bargain yeah, they're all bargains for you you won't go hungry we're not that you have all these refrigerators and they're all full they're going to stay here okay we're trying to get rid of that okay champagne we'll open it later why not? wait until curtis has taken advantage of the mess marianne roz is a popular lady today curtis is back to try to tempt her into buying the three porcelain figurines of john and peter wouldn't it be lovely if they were 17 50 17 16?
We would be talking about a lot of money, right? Wouldn't we be talking about a remortgage on my apartment? Talk about the price, if it was perfect, I would ask you for every 100 pounds. Yes, I would probably offer you around30 35 lbs. She was looking for a little more. I have to say: Could we go to 40? How about 38? so that gives me a little bit of space, you know what I think is a fair price? Do you have two pounds? If I say no, that means you pay 40. Yeah, there you go, so let's do something flawed. Are you OK.
Madam, look at that, now I'm especially happy with that candle because there was damage to the foot and the moment there is damage, the value is reduced massively, so you have to be careful with this type of thing and, if they are not damaged, Curtis will get the best pennies from the bank, but for Marianne it was not so productive, John and Peter conceded to clean one. refrigerator-freezer in the garage, but Marianne expects them to be a little more brutal when it comes to collecting her collectibles in the greenhouse. I know I'm not going to be able to persuade John and Peter to get rid of that food.
I hope they have the energy to pull this off, but you know I'll have to leave it to them in Essex. Sheila and Mary are working on cleaning the summer house. This can go to the charity. It is enough. It is a pleasant phase, but it has no value. You'll feel a lot better once you've done all this because it's a pretty nice space. Sheila, you could do a lot with this and I appreciate you coming here to help. I would do anything for my friends, so don't forget about me. Oh, I do. At the end of a long day, Sheila and Mary have put together a total of eleven and a half boxes of stuff to sell 10 boxes. charity and 12 bags of rubbish, goodbye to all that, Curtis has been scouring the streets of Glasgow looking for a buyer for Sheila's Wien's Vars, but then he decides to take the easy option, okay, so we've agreed on a brilliant £60.
Weems Vars is yours. Sir, thank you, so Sheila's Weems vars were sold. She thought they would be worth around £150 and I tried to be a little more conservative and tell her I don't think so. Weems isn't very popular at the moment but This one is interesting, it has a thistle instead of just the normal rose so I think Sheila has made up for what she was worth and I have one less thing to sell in Essex. Sheila is making great progress. I've been painting in the summer. She's been cleaning the house and getting rid of all the spiders and she has a few finishing touches to add before Marianne returns to see how she's doing.
I have worked very hard and I hope she is happy with everything. her impending retirement sheila was eager to tidy up and claim some space to enjoy with her friends and family marianne hi sheila just over six weeks ago sheila could barely open the door to her office, which was packed with a lifetime's worth of bags and stuff . boxes of junk, but now she's cleaned up the mess and resettled her office and Marianne can't wait to see the result. Wow, it's fabulous. I remember there was stuff everywhere, you can even see the floor, you can even see the carpet, yeah, well it was. everything up here oh it was absolutely terrible I'm immensely proud of you sheila oh thank you she had been using her summer house as a storage space or rather as a dumping ground it was filled to the brim with toys and old magazines that sheila just couldn't part with Sheila wanted a beach cabin retreat and, true to her word, turned this into a nautical-themed dream.
All that's missing is an ice cream van and a "kiss me quick" hat. Brilliant, it's absolutely fabulous. I just made it a really nice place, made it cozy, it's exactly what you said you were going to do, so I'm sorry, thank you. Sheila has made a fantastic effort and her house looks spacious and tidy, over 30 bins of rubbish have finally been put in place. released from Sheila's house, but all that hard work will produce cash. The money would be a bonus to be honest, I have no idea how much you're going to get, but whatever it is, I think I'd be very happy Curtis sold one. from sheila check out weems vars and his son comics along with lots of other things and bobs marianne has the good news we have for you the items we sold £472 oh wow that's fantastic please please please I'm absolutely overwhelmed because no I only have I have a beautiful and clean summer house, but I also have money.
It's great, yes, Sheila's house has been transformed, but she also got quite a bit of cash for the total mess. My plan is to do the fencing there, but the first thing I do is get a new suite for the summer house because the one I've had for 30 years is done, it's time for it to be done, it's time for, like me , is getting old, so it's time for a nice new one that is no longer ashamed of its two rooms of shame. Sheila has invited some members of her family to a small celebration. Coming to see Sheila today has been absolutely fabulous because she has really achieved everything we set out to do.
It's just fantastic, she's yet to come. Spirits are high. You want to go out, take them. Golden bear out, but can Jon and Peter reach their ultimate goal? You've done some things here, haven't you? Yes, in Elgin, John and Peter are tidying up their greenhouse and garage. Royal souvenirs and porcelain ornaments cover every surface and freezers fill the garage. It's about time we did something with our collections. Curtis has taken loads of decorative plates, a print of Queen Victoria and three porcelain figurines to sell for the highest possible price. The rains hampered John and Peter's drive to sort out their beautiful flowers and plump juicy fruits, somehow they did. their way back inside these tomatoes look well done look at them, I know, but this is our dining room and we use it no, it's more of a greenhouse all these plants here every time we have diners we have to clean all the plants so they can sit and eat when we buy a new greenhouse, can't they go in there?
It's full oh god well all you've done is complain because these plants are stuck on this table you want to get them out take them out so while john cleans things up outside anything to keep peter happy marianne peter puts the things in order inside get a job as a moving man that is worth a lot of money, screams, butter fingers, I know that john is very happy to get rid of a lot of things because he has been worried for a long time because we have so many things in the closets of the attic and in the garage, so he is much happier.
I think Peter is very happy with where things have gone. It's good to have things sorted so that when we go they haven't been wasted, they've gone to a good house and we can have a nice holiday with the winnings, which makes us both very happy and that's all. There you go, packing expert, and there's something else John is eager to pack. this golden mirror but it seems to be a bone of contention it is too big for this room it is not that big it is not right I think it is right I think it is not time for friend martin to intervene and help resolve their dispute, does it hurt us now?
Oh, well, you can help us here. We have a little dilemma. What is the problem? Why do you get rid of this mirror or not? It's a little big, no it's not, it's too big, come on guys. It's time to make a decision, yes, go on, then well, I want more than ten shillings for it, with poor Peter outnumbered, he didn't stand a chance and while Martin and John Man man the monstrous mirror, Curtis has a monarch of heavyweight to try to sell and in Glasgow. He has located antique dealer Liz, but will she share John and Peter's passion for Queen Victoria?
The print itself is a chromolithograph print, so it had specialized color. It was excellent and that's fantastic. The frame is quite nice. It is an original frame and for people who are collectors, they would probably want it like this. Having said that there are very few collectors left, you would need to travel all over the UK to find anyone who would like this not really for me. I appreciate your opinion. Welcome and I guess I'll take it and see what I can do with it. Good luck. Thank you so much. Well, Queen Victoria's reign has truly come to an end.
Curtis couldn't change the impression for love or money. He broke up with John and Peter. He knew this would be difficult because even original oil paintings and watercolors from the Victorian era are struggling to sell for good money. They used to cost thousands of pounds and now they cost hundreds of pounds. That's really good. news if you're trying to decorate your home with original victorian artwork, it's really bad news if you're trying to sell it in elgin inspired by marianne and curtis john and peter have been working hard to sort it out, if it were up to me we probably still have everything left disorder and, despite Peter's ongoing health problems, they have made real progress.
We've had kind of a clean turnaround. Change. John and Peter have actually been cleaning out their house, purging it of all kinds of unused items. to create more space for them to enjoy together curtis is back just over nine weeks later to see how keen collectors have managed to clean up their collections oh john hi curtis how are you hello thank you well well can we go in there? It looks fantastic. You certainly can, God, you've done some things here, haven't you? Yes, the greenhouse where the dining room is located has been full of neglected plants and bricobrack occupied every corner, but now the room has been recovered and is ready to entertain family and friends, they finally have a dining room that they can use properly .
Have you used it since I was last here? Not since you guys went last year. No, but we have very good plans. It's charming. Success with the dining room. As was? food for the kids in the garage full of refrigerators, freezers and all sorts of discarded catering items, there wasn't much space for anything you would normally find in a garage and now, well, I guess the best we can say is that it is a little more organized, but there has been great progress. We've had a good cleaning in the garage. We got rid of one of the old, old, old, old ones in the freezer.
One less, only three more to go. It's funny, it doesn't take much, right? I think we need that little push to get us going. I think it's because it was easy, we didn't have to sit in front of the computer and play the violin. Yes, I left everything in your hands after I sold the three porcelain figures and the plates. along with various other collectibles we have the pounds and pence invested, well let's talk about money, any previous expectations, so whether it's 10 pounds or 100 pounds, no expectations, no, what's going to happen to this money, no It depends on how much it is.
We'll probably have a meal out or a cruise, yeah I have to say leave the phone alone talking to the cruise company just for now, just an idea, I'm 244 pounds which is right now, I'm happy with that, yeah, It's modest money for Total Mess, so it looks like we'll have to wait a bit for that cruise, yeah buddy, thank you very much, but since Jon and Peter just celebrated their 25th anniversary together, they know exactly how they're going to spend the money on a trip to the coastal city. open, have a good time outdoors, you can invite me to have afternoon tea and wine and have dinner with me, okay, you're welcome.
John and Peter's house looks great and plus £244 for their holiday to open, I'm delighted you are lovely people your
