I don't know if that was the chain of timing, the dreaded timing. chain or if it was just a potentially bad super dry ring feels good no, it wasn't the water pump. I think it was definitely the dreaded timing chain. Well, the guy got the load and turn belt, you know, tightened there, but I think I'm going to go ahead and just jump in and replace this mechanical fuel pump.

There is obviously a problem with this, either the pump itself or the hub coming out of the timing assembly. I don't know, but we're going to need a different one. and a better fuel system here. I'm going to go ahead and also remove this upper rad hose that's about to burst. You know what I mean? We'll replace both quickly, put it all back together and hopefully we can suck. a little delay in fuel with the mechanical pump and then we can get back to the plan which is to just let this thing sit here and eat some ice cube juice, that would be nice.

Looks like the last Feller put some new hose clamps in here. anyway, but I went ahead and left that rotten hose, he was in my game plan, you just keep ignoring him, you know, until you can't. I like that it has a thermostat, so the good news is that with the top radiation hose out of the way, that doesn't help us at all getting into the fuel pump because it's very hidden, it's wet, that's down there and well, I have Sasquatch arms and meat gloves, so it
