I mean these teams, every week now that we're in October, it's going to be tough. matchups is why tonight is so important and every coach has developed the programs for him. They have had talented squads this season. Really good start to the year, but now in October, November and then hopefully December, this is where you want to play your best football.
Wallace Clark in his fifth year on the sidelines for the Huskies 35 and 14, the Huskies will get the ball to open things up and quiet nights, as we mentioned five and one, but a whole new system for the gentlemen thanks to that man Randy Raglin. his first year as head coach at night, he was athletic director last year, kind of a break in the season for him, but head coaching is in his blood and he lands at night after spending 6 years in Middle Creek, so the dark knights are on target. uniforms on the road and the start of the American Military University AMU, the number one provider of higher education for the US military, kick return for the Huskies and beyond the 25 yard line and that's where it will begin this season for Heritage Jamie Branch bringing the start back and the Huskies, come on, start again Heritage 5 and one and there we see Brandon Crutchfield coming on the field for Heritage usually in the secondary, but now he'll be in the backfield running the checks for this offense for Heritage, a really talented two-way player.
The athletes tonight are going to be aggressive and playmakers all over the field on the offensive line. This is a big group up front for Heritage, so Crutchfield, Corton Jr, is in the backfield out of shotgun and we're ready to go. the first play from scrimmage and Crutchfield will hand it to the right side, turning the corner to Baris Carter and Carter piles up around the 30 yard line and then is rejected by the Nale defense as we take a look at the experts air. The Heating and Cooling starting lineup for Heritage's offense is an athletic group of skill players Coulson Fields Carter Curon and the running back group is very good up front.
Carter's star right tackle is back. They want to win up front and push the offensive line. winning the trenches and the officials picked up the flag, one fell, but they have gone back up those five yards on the first carry and it is second and five now for the Huskies huskies with an average of approximately 36 points per game and a cheer and a hand running down the left side to the 35 and charging across the 35 to the 37 should be good enough for a first down and that's our first look at Coulson Fields number 22 and now a look at Dale's night defense again on the initial line. was submitted by axer cedan cooli ndale is going to start in a 4-3 defense up front taan Harvey very talented in the middle of the defense athletic group of linebackers are in the backfield Dwayne Lee starting safety Tyen Davis those two safeties controlling the in the middle of the field it's going to be important for them to come and run support as well as protect the Heritage postal routes and now the officials heading to Heritage Sidelines take a little pause here, which gives us the opportunity now to talk about the beaten.
Up defense for the night Dale, I mean, they're very thin on the entire defensive and offensive line and in the secondary, what kind of role is that going to play tonight? Really for both teams, depth will be an issue for many. Injuries already over for the night Dale mixing and matching new lads some reserves take on starting roles. Tonight they will have the opportunity to compete and also do some good filming. Hopefully some of the reserves will get more playing time, but that's it. about the next man up philosophy and they are going against a tough offense at Heritage and it appears to be a clock issue they are discussing things with Wallace Clark so they will reset the game clock from 1053 to 11:27 three officials including our The Tonight's referee walked over to Wallace Clark and there we see that the clock has now effectively reset on the opening series and our first first down of the game at ncdps first down go to careers at ncdps.gov and start your new first down career Huskies for the 37 restarts and a burst to speed up a small jump cut move and across the 45 line to about 46 yards.
Good drive on first touch of the night for senior Tyler Adair Adair, good jump cut, good vision, makes a man miss and then finishes. Run Adair Falls forward, good start running the ball on first down, it will be nine on first down and Adair will once again be tackled forward near midfield, a tackle made by Jonathan LX, winning forward will be so important we talk over the trenches guard the night platform level for the night Dale's athletic group right in the middle good size first step quickness platform level Leverage staying low will be very important for the defensive line another first down from NC DPS right at midfield for the Heritage Huskies The first quarter of the game was a minute and a half into the first quarter and broke out on the left side, but got strong initial resistance of maybe a yard.
Kean Harvey off the defensive line plays well for the Knights. Harvey keeps pressure on the interior of the defensive line. Tylon Davis number nine plays both ways as a wide receiver on the offensive side on defense playing as a safety we will see him down in the box there he moves towards the slot very athletic adir to the left of the crudge field on second and eight for the formation of receivers Adair chains him to the right cuts him back and is pushed back once again the run defense has been Sol the last two plays of the night Dale third and long that ball going out good job establishing the lead night Dale brings the ball back in there's nowhere to go and the inside linebacker comes in to fill the space, khil Sanders number 45 with the pursuit force playing to get back inside and it's third and 11 now for the Huskies defeated 3521 last week were down 29 nothing although the game was close towards the end of the first quarter, but a goal line for WG Forest began to turn the tide in that Crutchfield Sprints throws against the body throws the sideline the reception is made but well below the first down Jacob Lammert with his first offensive touch that will bring a fourth down in about six, it looks like the punting scene for the Huskies is coming together and here in the Special Teams unit hope comes out as Pinn returns the night, Dale, good job moving the ball to the middle of the field, but the last three Downs ndale are doing a better job of running, so Heritage will kick it and it will fall deep is Dwayne Lee and the left-footed punt flips toward the Huskies sideline and this will be marked around the 28 yard line which is where the drive will start during the void nights we're on Friday night Wake Forest Night Football Rivals when we get back oh beautiful sunsets and Wake Forest North Carolina couldn't be a more perfect night for high school football, especially with what we all endured last week here in the triangle and over T, the coast with a hurricane and 76° humidity is practically zero, I saw no mosquitoes on the field and Nale will take charge of returning on the first down, with Mona being chased, harassed and finally taken down inside the 30 yard line excellent pursuit loss of seven yards on the sack and about five different members of The Heritage defensive line made it to the backfield quickly a very athletic group for the Huskies good initial burst through the middle and then four different guys do a good job of flowing into the football that is Deontay Cunningham off that defensive line as we take a look at the starting lineups presented by on-air experts Warming up and cooling down the offense for the nights, very important tonight for the offensive line to establish the advantage in the run game and protection for monteu, so second and very long just trying to get some positive yards and that's Isaiah's rest as we take a look at the Heritage defense again sponsored by aeran cooling off nicely, a very athletic back, seven W Clark, the head.
Coach calls the defensive play so he is very involved and feels very good about this unit, how they have played so far this year and this one will go against Heritage. It looks like the defensive end on the right side anticipated the snap incorrectly, but that's how it will be. didn't create a first down, it was third and around nine, now it's third and four, so Jonathan Monu tackles him and drives for about a yard before the first down before a trio of burly defenders backed him up and that it will. fourth down goes up for Drake about a short yard to look down the sideline for monuThey are curious to go here on fourth down the offense stays on the field look at their zone read monteu dangerous with his legs he is in the shotgun we will see if this is just to try to put the Huskies offside or if they make a play , oh, the play is live and this is a break and the break won't allow him to be tackled right on the line of scrimmage, well sniffed out by Charlie feeis number 50, and how about that? that for a first quarter plot twist, well, you like the aggressiveness, the confidence that your offense can pick it up and the interior of the defensive line for Heritage, they just loaded things up, everyone played the run, it was a read of Zona and several boys entered.
For the play, good job, now you set up Bradley's offensive coordinator for Heritage here with great field position for this offense to start the drive and Jacob Holloway on that stick as well, so now more field position here for Heritage on their second Drive of the This game begins at the 43-yard line. The raw field is issued by Adair attempts the right corner and spills right on the line of scrimmage if you advance on fourth and one in negative territory. Jay, you're putting a lot of faith in your defense that's pretty banged up, but Randy Ragin gives his defense a lot of confidence and I think it's a confidence you see for your offense that you can pick it up.
It was just a better job by Heritage there with their inside pressure and now for Heritage. Gotta take advantage of this ball opportunity. Around the 43 yard line, this is a really good running game for the Huskies with Crutchfield back at quarterback and it also adds that element to the position and along with Dare's low movement , Crutchfield removes his hands, starts and rolls behind the line of scrimmage. that was read by ke sha Harvey he was in the back field almost when her hand Harvey zforce number 42 look how low he stays alone beats the blocks double team up front his Pad level stays under he's the blast a The one I'm referring to is a big guy, he has the speed you want, 6'3, 310 lbs, he is an exceptional player, a great guy, he makes plays all over the field, extraordinarily agile, he lost four thirds and 14, second pass attempt Crutchfield, they harassed him, he knelt at the reception. out won't matter much before the first down and they are the defense of the night Dale is playing the Hard In The Box run forcing Fielding on crutches to be just his first start at quarterback to throw the ball well and that was a good recognition By Night Dale saw the screen pressing but also staying home in the back there was nowhere to go with the ball the offense doesn't get the first down the defense does the job and supports them they score so despite missing on fourth and one in husky territory night Dale will not be penalized punt team on the field once again timeout taken by Night Dale with 535 left in the first quarter second punt of the night for Heritage scoreless Friday night Rivals of a Husky Immediate stadium timeout 0 score Midway through the first quarter from Husky Stadium on the campus of Heritage High School, look at Wallace Clark and this has already been a lot of hwns moving on the board In this first quarter, some more guys are falling.
Opportunities have been missed and now Heritage is going to score it for the second time at the line of scrimmage on two possessions right at midfield and this second punt is much better than the first fair sack signal made around the 15 yard line by P .So Night got away with a 4th and 1 bet, turned the ball over deep in Heritage territory, but the defense stood tall and now Night Dale was back on the offensive for the second time. Well, Night Dale is an offense that has had some big plays this season. with monu's arm strength, tall wide receivers on the outside, that will be the challenge in the secondary for the huskies, the first drive, although they had pressure, their front seven entered the backfield, there was nowhere to run in the running game, also monik you.
I didn't have much time, so here we go first down for Nale, second offensive series of the game for the Knights and Monu on the Give, and finally, a small increase from the offensive line that has at least been making some pretty major adjustments. over the last week and we'll get to that here in a moment, let's go down with Alexa Kay who has some news on Camp Coulson for Heritage yeah thanks everyone so he's on the sidelines walking back and forth with his helmet on . His hand and the people on his side tell me that it's his ankle that's bothering him and it's been bothering him a little bit this week, but I think he's been trying to play and it's just not holding up, but we'll see what happens. he's going to do it tonight, back to you guys, first down, carry for Isaiah's break, we were talking about this night offense with coach Rander Ragin before the game, he had to move some guys around the offensive line , they are two best wide receivers, they are out, one with a broken leg, one with a broken collarbone, they hope to get them back.
Their secondary is very thin, but offensively, how do they make the adjustments to put up some points tonight? And that's the hard part. You have guys who are booked to take on roles. Also guys move positions against a great defense at Heritage, so you know how to do it. I think you have to make some shots down the field because it's going to be difficult to move him methodically down the field just because there's not that chemistry, so I managed to make some big plays at the top. Quick pass, left side, monu connects the backs, but right on top of that play, DJ Kon is down, yes, he reads this.
B quickly goes to the outside, without hesitation, Kon appears, supports the run and also opens. receivers, you catch the ball, there's nowhere to go at number seven, so now third and long for Nale and again for Nale with the new head coach with nine new coaches within this program new terminology new scheme new system and not much game massive game experience For the returners in this program, but they like where they are at this stage, there is little time to pass and now that little pass to the left side connects around the 30 yard line and then it is thrown around from the 33-yard line, which will be short of a first down. for about five or six yards Trevor person in the tackle and now we'll see if Night Dale finally kicks it well third and 13 moniku was looking to go very deep in the middle of the field good coverage on the back and it's almost yards after the catch now it's more easier said than done going against this defense, but the yak after receiving the ball will be important tonight, but Heritage comes, makes the play and leaves the field.
M Su will punt it and Brandon Crutchfield, who plays the defensive secondary now is becoming a starting quarterback, will also be the punt returner here for Heritage as Suter, one of the biggest punters you'll ever see, sends him straight into the air and this will land on the 43 yard line. and pick up about four more yards before it stops, so the third possession for Heritage will begin, this one will start in their own territory for the second time, that has been the case, there are still no points on the board and, for Heritage, that comes out on this drive, you know you've had success on the ground and you've been a big part of that now, on the last night of Drive, Dale, you're really loading the box, putting that extra defender there to support the run, well, this Heritage offense is being talked about now because they've generally been led by Alx Thomas, NC State, who was injured, there's no telling when he might be back, he's not playing tonight, so Crutchfield will be starting for Heritage and I can't imagine the Playbook goes that deep with it. on the field off the gun hand to the right side, this is Jacob Lambert and Lambert turns the corner but stopped right at the line of scrimmage, so what effect does that have on the game plan now for the night?
Dale's defense understands that Crutchfield probably will. Well, I don't have a lot of experience as a quarterback and at night, Dale's defense, you know the approach is okay, listen, especially early on, we have to stop the run, you know, let's stop the run and then see how this game is developed. I want to bring different charging schemes. I will tell you there are so many great athletes for Heritage and Crutchfield is a great player on the defensive side and on the offensive side when you split, the wide receiver comes into the quarterback position to replace Lex Thomas, who is.
He's still going to be a bright future for the Wolf Pack and an opportunity for him to play a new position, but he has the skills to compete, play a little fake reverse P, a good pass, throw inside the 45 yard line until about 42, an excellent touch on that pass. by Crutchfield connecting with a challenge from the back field great play by offensive coordinator Bradley Fornier getting Crutchfield out of the pocket they were playing the run he recognizes that he takes it out good accurate shot but good decision an execution by Heritage full stretch both Hands on play for aare, making it now a manageable third down for the Huskies, third and five short in two minutes to go for fourth down, again and breaking a first down in yards to almost the 30-yard line, Lambert held low, was patient. and then shot through a hole in the left Jacob Lambert physical running back waits for the offensive line's power play and then goes through the hole again.
I like how he finishes the run by falling forward staying low and the deep backfield group 6 foot tall 180 solo good size Junior andc DPS first down Lambert again weaving finds his seam and falls forward near the 15 which will be about 17 more for Lam you said it zigzagging look at the vision there is a counterattack game lamber prepares to the left goes to the right side and then sees all the development returns to the left you talk about the talent with a dare lamber Crutchfield the three boys run the ball now from the 17th a bom line jumps free Crutchfield goes after him and he won't make it to the night he forces a fumble and dodges a bullet as Heritage was moving in the red zone and that's why it's so important to always rush towards the ball in the night Dale, this ball goes to the ground just escapes with a good tip and Then there's Harvey, who jumps in that perfect position.
Now the defense gave up a couple big plays, but there's the big number 42. We saw him jump into the backfield getting sacks and then now he makes a play to get off the field. I know the Crutchfield family very well, you know how athletic the Crutchfield kids are, you're also missing your quarterback and Crutchfield was diving after that ball against a 310 pound player, you don't want to lose him because then where do the guys attack? Huskies? wow but Crutchfield made a little shot he's fine and back on the field playing defense here as Nale takes the first turnover of the game so monu with 17 minutes left in the first quarter will give it and a minimum of yards maybe for the 20 at Heritage there was no linan down, everyone was standing like moving, no one had their hand on the grass just giving a different look to Dale's nighttime offensive line, we'll see if they do it here again on this play, but Let's change your plays.
Wallis Clark, head coach, he calls the defensive plays and sees them again. Everyone moves before the snap. Only one pair to break on that first try. Carrying and riding under pressure again. The draft passes through the middle under the connections. turns forward still standing and expands to about the 40-yard line, close to the 40-yard line, and that's enough for a first down for Randy Ragin, the head coach, who calls the offensive plays and then sees the screen opportunity with everyone moving before. - quick calls, screen throws it over the top to evade pressure, good job recognizing the blitz coming, throws it, breaks, does a good job yards after the catch, yeah, and now straight up the middle for a couple of yards to about 41, maybe 42 and You can see what the game plan is here for zero, a couple of big guns in their wide receiving core, short with injuries trying to get Monu the ball as often as possible any way possible for Isaiah to break up probably the last play of this first quarter and that will last a yard or so and that's it with one at Heritage a game night nothing nothing Dale in his first real offensive chase until the night both teams 5 and a winless and comfortable game is important tonight in a Wake Forest West Shore home On Friday night, the

rivals

presented by air experts, Heating and Cooling, will tonight send to Wake Forest, North Carolina, the second conference game of the next six for Nale and Heritage in the scoreless first quarter, which included three punts, a failed fourth-down conversion and a turnover, and is Nale had possession to start thesecond quarter into a third and short, but the third and short will become third and longer after an illegal procedure on a wide receiver that goes against Michael Pel of the night on the outside and tonight right now the defense is doing Good job, it's going to be penalties, turnovers, explosive plays, that's what this ball game is going to come down to these third and short, you know, with the penalty, now third and for a long time, I have to find a way to play a fair game and limit those penalties.
I can say that the panel is going to follow a perfect route, although right there it came out fast, I was eager for third and nine, now the line reaches the 48 for the night. Dale Knights monil will release pressure quickly and low, and the ball was released. Heritage thinks so, the referee comes in he hasn't given the signal yet and yes, there is smoke Forest and Heritage recovers, that's Jacob Holloway, he had a very impressive first half, yes, the young sophomore is very talented, Number 58, always around the ball, good opening shot, Dante Whitehead. number 51 comes off the edge perfect technique stays low hits the ball with his right arm while wrapping it and then several guys approach the ball Wallace Clark very happy with his defense fourth series for Heritage third that begins in night territory and this one is close from the three 30 yard line and I like how offensive coordinator Bradley Forer is mixing it up in the run game, we've seen outside runs, Jet Sweep power runs and then the fields outside of the ball game still have excellent depth in In the backfield, right now they are the star running backs with that ankle.
Several guys have to step up and a challenge has worked, as have Crutchfield and Lambert. DJ kson at the bottom of the screen on second and seven reestablishing the formation, the heavy side of the straight right. Crutchfield jumps towards the sideline tries to turn the corner a tackle comes out Crutchfield still standing and is finally going to be dragged inside the 10 look at the power of Crutchfield an absolute determination not to be tackled you see the determination finishing him off look at the athleticism Crutchfield receives this ball without hesitation, he goes and then down the sideline he should have been tackled a couple of times the cut jump to the inside and then he keeps his legs pumping fighting for other yards reading the blocks on the outside.
It's so amazing. race that was one on five and one was winning and now inside the Red Zone on first and goal and down inside the 5 yard line inside the red zone cfnc for the first time tonight College Foundation of North Carolinahelp plan apply and pay the university second and goal of about the four the offensive line for Harage get into a rhythm in this drive we have seen different guys carry the ball there is push up front this is an aggressive and talented unit offensive line, you know and and that's what that you have to have to win in the trenches is so important that they have good skill guys on the line the depth there is important this is there and he's not going anywhere the night again recognizes that one and Crutchfield stayed on the sidelines For the play, Air may have lost a yard.
One thing to keep in mind as you play this game. Jackson Brooks is already the center of the

heritage

. They're coming out of shotgun all the time. We've seen some cheap plays. You have a pretty inexperienced quarterback. You are inside the 5 yard line. You don't want to make another mistake if you're Heritage's offense. They kick here, so Crutchfield takes his time announcing the play. Third and goal for Heritage and the ball. seen approximately at the seven yard line and there is a bouncing step Crutchfield gets up with it Runs towards the sideline turns the corner reaches the pylon and cuts creative Again with the crutch the boy has extra equipment on his feet he has the burst clock keeps its sights on the thread, the pass and then takes off and there is the pass very close, very close but well handled because that cross slid across the grass and Crutchfield handled it cleanly fourth and goal for Heritage and they will go for it Therefore, the offensive remains. in the field gun formation now it looks like they may call a timeout and Heritage will just talk it out with nine 10 left in the first quarter, they are on the welcome mat of the scoreless gate with 9 10 left in the first half. it's a fourth and goal for the Huskies when we come back fourth and goal for the Heritage huskies ball just outside the one yard line decision here when Wallace Clark called a timeout you have Crutchfield making his first start of his school career secondary here today I haven't seen much J the running game moving laterally where he keeps the ball in Crutchfield's hands here, yeah, and he's the guy that's carried you down the field on this drive and they're spread out right now, three receivers wide, one back, they have a tight end as well, so we'll see if he keeps the ball to his right.
Crutchfield says his numerical angles are intact and the Huskies have the first lead in the game. Crutchfield is fine and I love Wallace Clark's aggressive fourth-and-goal mentality. says offense let's get in the end zone offensive coordinator Bradley Forer keeps the ball on his playmaker delivers the standing call from the right side leaving him with the number 16 trusting him Crutchfield wins the touchdown moving the ball down the field good reads waiting for his offensive line to do a good job getting the first touchdown of the game CB Tre M touchdown Oney touchdown coached by Brandon Crutchfield gra M your favorite destination for fashion and food for 50 years shop and explore their 200+ shops and restaurants in the heart of Raleigh extra good point and Crutchfield gives Heritage a negligible lead in the early stages of this first half and now that you've had four possessions under your belt, how do you feel?
I think he feels great, especially the way he finished the last drive, getting into a groove, he just looked more. relaxed making good decisions in the run game, some plays that he was able to catch and that's important for them to get that initial score, so now you have a seven point league, your defense is playing outstanding, you have a quarterback that is making plays. and reminders for fans, stay tuned for the Campbell University halftime report. We will have Tatum and Ainson Scholar participants from this week. School interviews with highlights and more. Campbell University School of Engineering, where engineering is for everyone, don't forget our undergraduate open.
House on October 15, that was Heritage's first really fluid sustained offense tonight and they certainly want to get Darren Lambert involved, but right now Crutchfield seems to be his best offensive option and there was no answer for his speed. Breakout that we saw on the last trip, his ability to be patient and then take off and at night, Dale, you had that inside. Those runs were a little sealed, but the perimeter stuff that Crutchfield showed on the last trip, you've got to find a way. to seal it and cut the edges and force it back to the American Military University starting AMU medium, the number one provider of higher education for the US military and the kick from one end to the other, but returnable short for a zero total speed beyond 30 and almost up to the 35-yard line and very good field position for Nale's return by Sam Thomas and that is where this advance for Nale will begin, they are at the 33-yard line and there is a noticeable winning conference season the last four years, they were one and four last year, that is one of Randy Ragin's tasks is to make this still very young school in the Triangle competitive again and they want to be competitive for the championships of conference and make it deep into the state playoffs. work in progress for zero and first down, take the right side almost to the 40 yard line for day of night, start with 5 and one, we're talking to Randy Raglin before the game about the depth of the Athletic Conference of the North and for every team in this in this ball game and also in the entire league, when you are in this conference week in and week out, you are getting a tough test, you are getting ready for the playoffs and you, your team with that good start, the talent they are going to have.
To face this year, they are going to be a force once they get playoff time. Monkey steps back trying to get away and is knocked down in the back field. That's Dante Whitehead, who has had another very impressive first half for this Huskies defense. Whitehead goes right up the middle, he pushes his man and then you see that speed with which he approaches Monteu, that is so strong that the interior pressure for the quarterbacks, if he is on the edge, at least you can see him in the middle, it's so hard to get out of the The road was lost to the 27-yard line, so senior widad creates a third-and-16, now Big Arm coach Raglin said there's not a throw he can't make on this team, but They are again missing two very important receivers and he is out. of the gun and he will see a little more pressure right in the middle, the distance steps cut him back and then he loses his balance.
They may have thrown him off balance just before finding open ground and it will be a punishing situation for the night. Heritage gets pressure, only four guys come, they all mix up jumping before the snap, then only four Huskies come, everyone else covers, but it's the disguise that makes it so difficult for the offensive line, so Nale doesn't respond and just kind of a follow up comment to what you're talking about about injuries in this league. This is not a league where you want to lose guys week in and week out once you get into conference play because you're talking about waking up for yourself.
We're talking about Rolesville, you're talking about Milbrook and then you're talking about the postseason may not have enough players by the time they hit the pressure on this PT, right outside and it's going to land right in front of Righton and around the 45 line yards. by Nel so Heritage on the touchdown scored by Brandon Crutchfield up seven and back in possession Midway through the first half 7 nothing lead for the Heritage Huskies on top of the night Dale kns tonight's iteration of West Shore at home the Friday night Rivals featured by on-air experts pay attention Patrick Henus cooling down J son halter likes a k on the sideline, so Heritage football returns.
It hasn't been a very aesthetically pleasing first half on offense, but the chances mostly come from Heritage's costly turnover near the Red Zone. Halfway through the first quarter touchdown. next touch now Crutchfield back on the field has been their best offensive weapon so far this drive again another short field here for the huskies starts at the 45 and the penalty score Dro down this will continue the Huskies impressed with how the ndale defense has played here tonight so far J, well, every defense what I see is athleticism, team speed and that's what you calculated with every team five and one, you know, we know they can score points, both offenses are explosive if you want to be a team champion, how is your defense?
I'm going to play and I'm really impressed with what I've seen so far, so now I backed up on the penalty to the 40 yard line, the little Jet Sweep on the right side and this is a person and there's really nowhere to go. Persecution by LX. and the Davis line's backup group L Max Davis read their keys by running the play to the outside and then immediately going to the perimeter. Good job flowing to the ball and this will now be a second and long after the penalty and now a loss of a couple. of more second-and-19 yards right now for Heritage, but again I guess it shouldn't surprise you that these offenses are struggling.
You are Heritage. You're there without Lex Thomas, your senior quarterback. You've been without Coulson Field since the opening play of the game and this is Lamber Tumble down across the 40 yard line, he'll pick up about five but still third and long and then at night you'll be playing without your wide receivers Jason Dickerson and Jamal Allensworth, who have three. touchdowns between them and almost 300 receiving yards between the two, they were absent for several weeks, so it became a defensive affair that I guess both coaches think this game could be more offensive. Tonight, third and 14 runs from the field cut away from the pressure. and score this one out of bounds 40 just wanted to make sure he didn't make a mistake with the ball there and now Heritage is going to kick it well with so many guys injured that the coordinators are going to have to really do it.
I really find the strengths and that's why Bradley Forier and Randy Raglin call the plays for each team. There's W Clark, but that's what makes them so outstanding play-callers is the ability to use the talent that is available to them and find ways to win. ways to get explosive plays with whoever your staff Rico abson for the third time Michael panel endorses this type of scoring in the air and takes the nightwhere Dale bounces to the sideline and this will be the best starting position Nale has had all night around the 40 yard line, well 510 lefts in the first half, this half goes very fast with all the plays terrestrials and the message right now in the Huddle Randy Raglin talking to his team, let's get started, let's win up front and they need something. momentum as we approach the halftime break and spoke with Randy Ragin before the game.
The head coach in his first year here with Nale, in addition to losing some key offensive weapons on the outside, has had to change his offensive line, they do not call it in any way. Gomez, a sophomore who will start on the offensive line today, a couple of guys are playing out of position and we've seen results of that with the type of intense penetration we've seen from the defensive line since the Huskies' first down , they keep it on. the ground and a good first down for about eight yards for Isaiah break good break is a really talented runner good job on the first down so important to get off to a good start Zone Reed waits for the offensive line his tight end to set up the block goes right down the middle where Khil Sanders led the way, broke again, stayed low and is in grunt territory that will move the chains for my spot down C.O, first in place for covid-19 protection, first in zero, nothing will. get the ball on the other side of halftime 440 left show up at some point get some points on the board I think as a head coach, that's what you're looking for here.
Monu looks to the right side and adjusts to his man's on the band. Crutchfield in coverage, doesn't come off the field Patrick Yeah, Crutchfield's like one of those guys in a baseball game, last game of the year, hey coach, can I play all nine POS positions, catch the first inning pitch, the second and then play the other seven strokes? field as a quarterback, a safety cornerback from last year on the defensive side and even a punt reserve again. Monu gets some air under a panel and just above his fingertips, although he shot and this is going to continue in Heritage, which was very good.
The ball thrown by the Monu panel, diving on the sideline, did not touch his fingertips, but the pass interference was inherited and that is the first real major penalty of the game. Jay we'll see if you agree they look down the field trying to get the big play not much contact 15 fights both are fighting for the ball I didn't see contact on the last step unless it happened a couple steps before the break but i think no catch is broken here on first down after the penalty dancing around dodging pressure Monu thrown forward around the line of scrimmage now we are starting to see a little change in the offense for the knights, they are now looking towards the right arm from Monu, well, they have to have the protection up front to be able to take those plays and keep him protected, but also take those shooting plays and it's his presence in the pocket that can at least make him move forward matu again a The panel immediately looks back in the direction of their quarterback.
An interesting conversation we had with Randy Ragin before the game is he said, you know, we don't have a deep playbook, our receivers can basically run three different routes on the same play, quarterback. You have to read what the receivers read, explain well, it is a play call in which you know that there is a lot of confidence in your quarterback and wide receivers that when they read the defense you know that they have to be on the same page because if the coverage is killed in a certain way then you're going to run a route where if it's played differently then you're going to run a different route, so you're relying a lot on your players' hands to make the right decisions and run a third down and 10 from the line. from 32 yards, coming down a high cross, migu shoots to the right sideline, catches with the tip of the finger where with feet within the limits that were now, it's going to be a matter of points and it looks like they're going to score, maybe a yard and a half shorts, but a manageable fourth down for the gentlemen, a tough catch by Thailand, Davis tries it. should be fourth down fourth and short and less than two well they went to fourth and one in their own territory they are definitely going for this with 333 left now in beefy territory for a touchdown 24 around two for the offense to stay on the field by Randy Raglin monu comes out of the gun, the weight in the formation to the right and monu dances has the first try, he is inside the 20 and this drive shapes Pitch Perfect for the Nil Knights at the end of the first half, so monu make the right decision.
The zone was read as false, but this is the quarterback all the way and then he goes right down the middle, the interior of the offensive line sets up The Edge and on the first down, he takes it inside the 10 yard line and up to about the 5 yard line, the big play there is the break. the break does a good job of reading the offensive line clearing the way. I mean, it's just a great job to be patient, a great grip to get through, so now first and goal within the cfnc Red Zone College Foundation of North Carolina, helping plan applying and paying for college first. and goal and very close for monu and then he got up and now they say he just didn't break the CL the plane of the goal line TouchDown at night we made a gesture late but monu accepts it it's a 76 lead for Heritage and that's the momentum The Dr. ordered a very good response from the night Dale, this was Monu's drive again to the center quarterback until the end, they started the drive with 510 left on the clock, they wanted momentum now they have it looking to stop this game of ball, but monu us.
I've seen the strong arm, but he's also a talented runner and Edwin Rodriguez, for the extra point, makes it and that's an impressive boost for Monu and the night Dale Knights, that pass interference call, played big, but the offense of the night has come to life and I've evened out well at the end of the first half and every quarterback is now getting involved in the run game and it's paying off. Crutchfield also scores a Monteu touchdown. Now Heritage had a lot of time 240 got the two timeouts to advance before the halftime break, but That's a good response of the night driving the ball down the field.
Stay tuned again. Campbell University's halftime report will be released in just a couple of minutes. This week's Tatum and Atkinson Scholar Athletes. Some interviews with participating principles, highlights and more. Campell University School. Engineering where engineering is for everyone, don't forget about the open house for your university students that will be held on October 15, which is at halftime, again the night puts football on the other side of halftime, so Now the task is quite simple for the defense of the knights. Over this last 240 and Nale will head into half time with a lot of confidence if they can make it here.
Home of American Military University AMU, the number one provider of higher education for the US military. The Line Drive kick slides down and around the goal line. recovered in the end zone for a touchback Jamie bran number 82 is back there on the return well this is for me this is interesting here Jay because it's 77 at the end of the first half Crutchfield I don't know how many reps he's had since the injury you took down Lex Thomas, you have a two minute offense, you have enough time to score points here, how aggressive are you going to be and this drive will start right at the 20 yard line, so Crutchfield, hitting Adair, swings out and finds space on the sideline and there he goes to midfield and finally cuts off Tyler Redair's big run, the senior's tail back for 33 and a first down, looks at Carter All, number 77, the right tackle and then #80 tight end Jack O Connell clears the way.
Adair does it. The rest, good work on the perimeter with those blocks and then Adir with his speed creates the great game on the ground and my nc spot. goo first in your place for covid-19 protection markers come in just before the center and this will go against the huskies there are 27 times remaining in this first half of a game first it was interesting in that great round that we just saw from madir After Crutchfield passes the ball into the air and swings toward the sideline, Crutchfield, behind the play, raised his hand toward the sky as if to say he could score a touchdown, he was so confident taking the first-and-15 throw.
Crutchfield swings it to the certain, there's not much room and he takes a pretty hard hit near the 40-yard line, but Crutchfields gets up and takes the penalty and more and stops the clock in 2011. Well, at Heritage he started the drive with 237, you have the explosive game back to back. races from a crutch d field, they picked up 40 yards, yeah, and then you have two timeouts, so now you have a very good position on the 201 field with the timeouts, I mean, you don't have to play fast here, you can take Take your time and be patient, lammer now to the right of Crutchfield to line up receivers for the Huskies on second down.
This is Lambert working his way to the left side and he'll get to about the 36. This will be close to the 25th first down, the ball carrier and they'll mark him right underneath. No need to rush here for the Huskies in third and four-down territory, you still have two timeouts. Crutchfield is doing a very good job of managing the game. Here he runs forward to take the center, finds space. He cuts outside and there goes Crutchfield on the left. the sideline still standing Crutchfield takes home at Third and a Crutchfield goes 36 for the touchdown and the Huskies lead 13-7 37 and 37 yards on the ground Crutchfield did it on the right side, the previous drive this time just by The Middle looks at Crutchfield's vision the burst that is so hard to slow down that speed makes a man miss and is starting to get into a rhythm the back to back offense drives two touchdowns led by Crutchfield which was an 80 yard drive with a penalty against your offense at about the 18th minute mark and Brandon Crutchfield is coming into his own in his first high school start at quarterback due to the injury to Lex Thomas, who NC State commits to Crutchfield just a Jr who gets a lot of looks in many different positions. opportunity for him to show his athleticism, which we have seen develop as he plays, to see his ability, also what I see is the level at which you have to play to know all those positions.
I mean, he plays everywhere on the field. It's very difficult to know the playbook for all these different positions, so he makes it look easy, but having that ability to play all these different positions is so difficult in the coach's TR TR and he's here making plays and you I say what Jay If Coulson Fields hadn't gone down with an injury on the first play of the game, the game plan probably would have been a lot different as far as Husky's approach to this one, but when he went down suddenly, it's Crutchfield, a little bit of Lamor, a little bit of Dare to try to figure out who that offensive threat can be, has become Brandon, well, Wallace, Clark, and there's Crutchfield and Fields, those two guys, such good players, but with Clark Bradley Forer The Talented outside of the coordinator you have to adapt to your personnel and that's what makes them so good at calling plays different types in the lineup you have Thomas going to State he's not available tonight and now Crutchfield Fields is out so everyone those who have come in have done their job, it is because the move put these guys in position to be successful in starting the American Military University, AMU, a number one provider of higher education for the US military, return kick and this drive for n will begin around the 25 yard line, two timeouts now for the gentlemen, can you do the same thing we just witnessed? of the Heritage offense with 15 minutes left and they are down by a touchdown once again good with the timeouts you have the ability to stop the clock twice and Monu's arm strength I think we will see them throw the ball deep you will get a penalty, maybe you'll complete it, but they'll have to play Up Tempo here now.
It's going to be key for the offensive line to give Moniku enough time to throw, I haven't seen much in the way of Parnell, Tyland Davis, they are the two main receivers in this Nale offense this year it's been a well balanced offense for Nale so far 11 touchdowns through the air 11 touchdowns on the ground monu Junior quarterback took over as a starter for this night team last year but again a different system with a new head coach reducing the pressure, the monu escapes, runs to the right side near the first down marker and stopsthe watch. We've seen additional gears for many of these skill players tonight, just when you think they're wrapped up.
Come out well, it's not just the athletics, it's the conscience in the pocket for Crutchfield Monteu. When they feel pressure, they know how to escape, they also know when to do it and they keep their eyes on the field, the perfect moment for the big play. The nine second gain in monu shorts, the three step drop shoots the sideline and that will be good for a first down, generate out of bounds around the 44 and that will be the reception of Tylon Davis Randy Raglin using the passing game short to protect their offense. Line Davis, a great physical receiver, good route to get the first down, is undercutting the field with a minute three to get to my spot. nc.gov first in place for covid-19 protection first place on the night monu throws it to the right sideline returning to it around the 46 yard line excellent hands Again by tyon Davis brought it in with his foot in out of bounds and you'll see it right near the first down marker this is a tough catch as Crutchfield comes in to try to break it look at his feet that's good in the NFL retains the ball excellent execution gain of nine seconds and one now in territory of the grunts 58 seconds left in the half and migu gets into rhythm, sets a screen, tries to get away, can't take a sack, but holds on to the ball, massive loss to the 35 yard line, which is a 19 submission yards, good at Heritage.
Going back to the look with no one putting their hand on the ground, everyone moving before the snap, it caused confusion and now the knights will take a timeout and that's exactly what Clark wanted, you get a catch, push them back, they have to use the timeout now they are behind the chains so 49 seconds left, from a second and short, now third and about 16, you are down by a touchdown, you are starting to move the ball regularly, how aggressive or conservative you expect? Randy Raglin being here knowing that you have the ball on the other side of the half, well, I think they are going to be aggressive and there are two plays.
I would screen or throw the ball deep, but you have to have protection in front, it can be a situation where you get back there, sit for a second and just throw the straight route, release the ball early to make sure you don't face the pressure, the most important thing is that even though you can't take a sack and you can't have a turnover in this situation, well, it seemed like they were trying to set up the center screen on that last play, yeah, and the other thing to Heritage is if Night Dale doesn't make it or if they keep the ball on the ground, you can call a timeout, you'll give yourself one more chance and also the punt blocking unit can take the field from the guns 16 yards to get to third down , we'll see what they mark. up monu three man rush now a fourth advances turns throws it and the catch is made before the 40 but that alone could be good for a yard and the Fourth Down clock is still ticking and we'll see if Wallace Clark is going to burn some time dead.
You might have two left, but I'm with you. At least you can force the pressure on the punt team if you want. Otherwise, the night will gladly let time run out, so Wallace Clark evidently opts to sit down. in those two timeouts and take a 14-7 halftime lead to run out the clock. The night will receive the ball when the third quarter begins. All three touchdowns came in the second quarter, except for Brandon Crutchfield's 36-yard downfield touchdown. The last minute and a half of this second quarter gives Heritage a 14-7 lead. Well, it was an interesting first half.
It was a defensive battle in the first quarter. The offense is Joy a lot in the second quarter, so at the halftime break we will have some adjustments. here, but this is a close game, okay, 14-7 lead for Heritage, let's go down with Alexa, hey guys, I'm here with Coach Clark, Coach Clark Crutchfield has been an absolute offensive weapon for you tonight, right? What can they say about their performance? So far, he is doing a very good job. You know, moving it back and forth on offensive defense. You know, we just have to make sure that he stays healthy and gets the water when he needs it.
What is your decision? message going to the locker room, well, from now on you know we don't go in there and evaluate what we're doing on the offensive side and the defensive side of the ball, that's a good program there, you know, and coach rag. I have a lot of experience and from now on we will just meet with the coaches and see what happens next. Good luck, thanks for your time guys, back in the booth, okay, thanks Alexa, a couple of touchdown runs. by backup and now starting quarterback for Heritage Brandon Crutchfield of one and then 36 with a lead of 147 for Heritage at halftime the Campbell University halftime report is approaching.

We love the Scott Lions and the Heritage Huskies and it's always a fun night and hopefully we get a win tonight. Yes, good luck. Thank you very much for joining us tonight and staying with us. Friday night Rivals, we'll be right back Campell University halftime report continues Heritage 14 ndale 7 tonight week seven in North Carolina high school football, so a little over half of this season, but in this state and across the country, some big games and big moments already and here are some of those from our Action Territory Sun from Friday night's Rivals season, I think so, oh, it was intercepted and it will be six in the other direction, what a night for S, his third pick, his second touchdown, let's go. with the runner's throw here downfield Hart has the man at the 12 trapped to the five and they're proud of century plus existence here's a throw on first down oh it bounced and caught wow what a grab, doesn't King back up the fullback?
He'll get it, he'll get through it and he'll stay on his feet 10 five touchdown Littleton On The Run zing down caught touchdown Titans but if you're in the mindset of wanting to shoot, they'll break loose and he'll be intercepted blue taking it from the sideline stabbing him at the 20 making a move he is going to take advantage of it to score Jay, who knew I missed so many great moments during our first six weeks of high school football, glad to be back 147 our halftime score Leading night at Heritage and we'll take a look at some highlights from our first half here tonight, Jay, let's go over what we've seen so far in the first quarter, it was all the Heritage defense and ndale doing a good job on that side of the ball and Then the offenses started to move forward.
Crutchfield really did a good job in the running game. Explosive plays that refused to fall. They use him on the perimeter and he is such a leader that his team really feeds off of his great playmaking ability. one yard and then hits it right up the middle for the first score of the ballgame, this is a z00 play for a quarter that is the first of two Crutchfield touchdowns and then the night started to find its offensive footing, yeah, even by Tylon Davis. good receptions on the outside Monteu got into a rhythm and then the response went down the field, they scored a touchdown with a quarterback run and then there were approximately 237 left on the clock.
Heritage got this explosive play down Air's field, got to midfield and then Crutchfield took control once again, yeah, that big Adair run that covered about 35 yards, that was the play that really changed the way the games went. final minutes of this first half, leading to that 36-yard touchdown run by Crutchfield and seeing the run game numbers 153. However, most of that comes from Crutchfield, who is on his first quarterback of high school and started well in the second quarter. They really got things going on the field, the offensive line was pushed up front and over the top throughout the night.
Come on, they only had one penalty. a balance of turnovers in their running and passing game, but in the second half it will come down to turnover penalties and explosive plays. Well, after the night we will have the ball when the third quarter begins. We'll hear from head coach Randy Raglin about the messages. and the needs of the Knights as we get back into the third quarter right around the B 14-7 the halftime lead for Heritage and our Alexa K is waiting with the first year head coach of the nightly story The Knights scored a touchdown Randy Raglin yeah guys, I'm here with Coach Raglin, Coach Raglin, thanks for joining us.
What have you seen from your guys so far that impresses you well defensively? We played really well until that last drive there before the half and we gave up big plays there. Offensively we are struggling right now. We have to help the defense and play a little better offensively here in the second half. What was absolutely your message coming out of the locker room? We have to get to the bottom of the offense if we don't have offense. We're going to have a long second half here, so I hope we get the ball here and make something happen here.
Thank you very much Coach Raglin and good luck in the second half. Back to you guys in the booth, okay, thanks Jay. At that point, how does the offense take off? I think we saw Monteu run the ball more, so I think the key for them is they have to get him going in the run game like he did in the second quarter and then the adjustment is. In front of the offensive line maybe you have They keep a tight end running back chip. You have a block to give him time to get the ball down the field, but between Davis and Penel, those two guys have to be involved in post losses. somewhat explosive in the air, but that means the offensive line has to find a way to at least give Monu a chance to get the ball down the field, but again there are a lot of different parts and some guys come out good in this is a tough defense from It really figures out if you're an offensive lineman at night because they're moving before the snap so I think maybe keep a tight end running to the chip block to help Moniku and give him time to throw the ball, what have you learned ? about the huskies so far tonight, I know it's hard to understand that when they're playing without Lex Thomas and they've lost Coulson Fields for probably the rest of the game, but what have you seen in the adjustments they've made?
Needed to do because of those who were absent due to injuries, the next men moved up to different positions and Crutchfield, he has been the main one replacing Lex Thomas, came here, played very well, protected the ball by making plays on the ground and leaning his down offense for twotouchdowns and Wallace Clark has so much confidence in him and he, along with other guys replacing Coulson Fields, is also out of this game, so a challenge comes with Lambert and those guys doing the work in their fields. Still with this helmet on and walking cautiously, as good a player as Carter, and again we talked at the top of the broadcast about how discouraging this conference is.
We'll take Heritage as an example. They've already taken the loss of Milbrook. last week they were one of the best teams in the state, next week they will be on the road at Wake Forest which won't be easy, then they have Wake Field on the road and then they close with Rosville, so if you are now it looks like you are going to be without Thomas and who knows how Fields will recover next week. This is a really important game for Heritage to close out. Yes, second half. I mean, for both teams, this is a big Heritage home advantage. you have the advantage, they feel good running the ball here in the second half, that will be the name of the game, running the ball, continuing with the drives on the ground, pushing forward and then your defense holding again for Heritage to prepare to kickoff to begin the third quarter with a lead of 147, it was a 36-yard touchdown run late in the first half by Brandon Crutchfield to break the tie just after the night, Dale had tied things up with about 240 left and in that moment we're thinking if Nale gets the stop, they get the soccer ball, they can take the lead down the road, boy, things change very quickly, the big publicity race and then you get the Crutchfield reward from '36, so ready to start the start of the American Military University, AMU, the number one provider of Higher education for the third quarter of the US military is underway and this kickoff will be verified in the rear of the zone scoring and a Touchback for the gentlemen, the endons, a touch back, it will be the first, well, we will see if the message is received.
There's Randy Raglin, who rarely has a play sheet for the offense because there are so few, there's a lot of trust in Jonathan Migu, but again the message is conveyed to him and the offense: we have to find a way to move the chains control the ball and put some points on the board. What are you looking for in these first possessions? Well, offensive line. I mean, that's the number one thing when we look at this trailer here. Watch the offensive line in pass protection and also run the ball. pad level Isaiah breaks down in the backfield gets the call on the first down explodes right in the middle and there he goes Isaiah breaks down 80 yards first play of the third quarter message received for a touchdown Randy Raglin said hey, I want a little more offensive juice first play A+ offensive line wasn't even touched up front which way to break pass through hat on a hat good leverage and it's out that's the most explosive offensive play of the year for the night Dale Knights intact I Isaiah break that's his eighth touchdown of the year and the Knights are one extra point away from a tie.
God saw that extra point coming, although it somehow squeezes inside the left post, the cross was soft and high, good job by the holder to get it down and there is no break for Isaiah breaks 80 yards, splits through the defense and ties the score game crab Tre all land brought to you by Crabtree Mall, your go-to destination for fashion and food for 50 years shop D explore its 200+ stores and restaurants in the heart well and you need your seniors to step up your team leaders on break, Since a senior comes in during the halftime break on the road, you need a brilliant play, you need someone to create something and break along with the offensive line doing the job that took 11 seconds, that's an eight count for the defense.
Heritage Husky, you know, in the second quarter, although we've seen each team score on the opposing offense's response, so the flow of this ball game, the first quarter, the entire defense, the second quarter and the first part. In the third, the offenses have gotten into rhythm. Edwin Rodríguez is ready to kick it for the knights. American Military University's kickoff is short, they will take a low jump and pick it up around the 11 yard line through the 20 to the 30 yard line and then turn. right around the 31 yard line, that's where Heritage will start. Jamie Branch brings that kick back into pretty good field position for the Huskies' return yardage.
Well, now we'll see that it's a test of character here for Heritage. Last second instructions for Brandon Crutchfield, responsible for both. touchdowns in the first half for Heritage starting his first high school game at quarterback tonight due to injuries suffered by Lex Thomas. It's unknown exactly how long he'll be out next week in wake four, it's the week after Ed J's alma mater. Scoreboard Wakefield Man in Motion comes in this is a game or a legal proceeding, it's a legal proceeding, talk about the schedule, we'll be in the Northern Athletic Conference for the next two weeks, we'll watch the entire conference with Wakefield BL.
Brook and Rolleville wake up strong and we end with Clayton Cleveland, that rivalry that is always a lot of fun, well, speaking of Lex Thomas in the NC State lineage following his two older brothers, Alexa K has more on Lex, yeah, Guys, I talked to Lex here. on the sidelines and said he had surgery on Tuesday but was going to be out for at least 6 months with that injury, well there you have it, this is now Brandon Crutchfield's team's first carry for a pair of Carri number 3 that Thomas released. 30 touchdowns last year his older brother, as a wide receiver, NC State graduate student Drake, the starting linebacker for The Wack Junior, his father was an offensive lineman at Marshall, they came down to North Carolina several years ago from West Virginia and that has It's been a journey for Dave.
Dorne on The Wack's second chance carry and this is a dogfight with about 35 setups, third and six. Lex is a great player, a great kid too and someone who works very hard and has an outstanding career here. It's going to be fun for him to go to NC State and build his own path. He has great role models watching his brothers from 35 and 6 yards go after Crutchfield and the Huskies, all of a sudden in a tied game and that just became more pronounced. clap will draw Alex Taylor into the neutral zone and that should be enough, it will bring third and about a yard so it's not a first down, that's a smart play by Crutchfield right there in his first start, very smart and He's not new to the position, he's just new to the starting position here, yeah, and he plays so many different positions.
I mean him moving over the quarterback position. I mean, again, it's awesome to know that the Playbook has run on the third, you choose your path forward and NF. Crutchfield holds on to the ball, but didn't get the first down, which was a great defensive stop on Third-and-one and now we'll see how bold of a wall as Clark wants to be the punting unit Casey is coming onto the field. McD coordinator's defenses at night, his unit does the job they can get off the field, they have interior pressure, there's not a lot of room to run and that's going to force you to get the touchdown on the half and then now your defense comes out and does the job. will be the fourth punt of the night by Heritage Dwayne Lee come back to return by zero snap a little The left-handed high boot, the best of the night held on to the can 25, may have been caught right at the receiving point Yem on the tackle of the special team but the night, Dale has the football shot on his first lead of the night on the road 14 all early third 14 all from Heritage an 80-yard sprint by Isaiah on the first play of the third quarter has tied things up and now the defense of the nights Force to make puns and suddenly Wallis Clark feels a little nauseous on the bench for the Huskies 14 the entire defense returns to the field to try to stop the break in monu two and a half minutes into the third quarter Jonathan monu will take care of that one for maybe a yard per scene line another possible injury situation, that's the one who just made the special team entry on that punt, so Al L of one of the same and here it is the break looking for space in the middle again covered this time by the Interior defense. line a couple yards to break third down third and thinking a lot about a screen play for Randy Raglin Zone Reed a good job in run support and roant W has left the field, he is in the corner at the bottom of the screen replacing Crutchfield, he gets a play out on defense, this one is thrown to the right side of the receiver, kind of a broken hit and a late score is going to come in, this is going to go against Heritage Tyon Davis, like he's running and then he slowed down , I guess maybe he was held back to break his stride and Wallace Clark unhappy second big penalty against his defense sees a grab sees a grab okay and the right arm will see yeah there's a right grab on the left on the left on a Davis so that's against DJ Kon will move the football to about the 41 yard line, but an automatic first down thanks to the zero penalty 140 ncdps first down will get you out of the back field this is a break Sprints out of the numbers stays within the boundaries and is eventually ejected into Heritage territory, a slam on the brakes let an SP defender pass him, that's a good call, here he is, and he just made a T with that white paint on the sideline, he's a receiver really good and I think we'll see him get the ball more. the second half of the year as an exit and on the first attempt cutting it to the left and tackling and falling towards the 40 which is almost nine on the first attempt and suddenly now Jay we're starting to see Nale get away well on the first attempt. the offensive line looks more comfortable, a lot of new faces up front, more pace, those guys challenge at the halftime break.
Randy Raglin told his offense, hey, we've got to get it going, if we want to win this game, we've got to play better on the offensive line. leading the way right now second and short goalie monu strong resistance right at the 40 just as he was about to get a little ahead Charlie is there for the Stop Now third down pick one the play third down one a yard and a half to go on third opportunity here for Nale Knights have not led All Night Trail with a touchdown twice recovered twice to look at the potential zone Reed with a break to the left of monteu four receivers in the formation breaks and breaks near the first down yards before of five different Husky defenders rejecting it and it looks like they are going to mark it short, since Reed monu has the option to keep it and hands it over to break the inside pressure they were playing.
The multiple huskies approaching Run were getting closer. Make the play well. Nale hasn't been shy about going ahead and four down, they'll do it again now if your inheritance doesn't jump the sides, they could go with the hard count, take the penalty and still clear so you have to be careful so watch . on the bench, but all the Knights skill players make right hand gestures in front of their number six jersey off the gun and there's a jump and there'll be a penalty and that'll be an automatic first down and the Huskies are barking at each other others is exactly what you said they couldn't do, they did it well and that's a smart play by Randy Raglin, you go out there, whether you're going to run or take the penalty, you use the hard count and see if you can get five yards easy, worked with excellent execution with Monteu, okay, Torren Ducket number 41.
Randy Raglin made that play to make it two, it paid off and sees the first DPS attempt. Go to careers at ncdps.gov and start your new career first. down Nale monu dancing dodging and now he will throw on the run and just throw it into lane three on the perimeter track of this football field. I don't think that would have been a legal capture, no, that probably wouldn't have done it. I counted, but it's a good job to get away from the pressure and Monteu, with his knowledge of foot speed, just gets to the outside and then throws it smartly on the third, that's a pass that won't be on your highlight reel of the meeting on the second try. 612 came out of the third quarter 1414 the winner gets to one and one in the next six and still has a chance to claim maybe his share of the division or the rope title the loser is L eliminated migu gives him a break again opens pass down the middle Cuts to the left slow down and he's going to be punished right around the 20 yard line hanging around his ankle for dear life while Taris Carter kept the break for another long touchdown.
Zone read again now the offensive line looks completely different than the first half, they are getting the job done. forward power play, good work, kick blocking, everyone had a hat and then halftime joins a group to finish the runs, that's another 20 more by halftime, he's run for over 100 yards in the first 6 minutesof this third quarter and now night comes to the cfnc. Red Zone College Foundation in North Carolina, open plan, apply and pay for college, no profit on the first try and this is pretty much what we expected. Two five-on-one teams in the third quarter matched blow for blow, going back and forth.
It's been defense first quarter now the offense is taking on a different life Staff stepping up there's a look at Randy Raglin first year head coach for Nale second and 10 for the knights monu pressure immediately behind him and he escapes again space to the right Mill se leads the end The zone holds the ball high over his shoulder and scores Night Dale in the lead for the first time tonight, coming out of his bag, looking for some territory and taking it from 20 yards out and watching how he uses the stiff arm here, he passes to the left and then says, "Okay, I have to go," he goes outside, uses the Rigid Farm just to create a little more separation and then the speed to finish it off.
Great job protecting the ball, but making a good decision, running instead of throwing it for the night. Dale Knights twice lost a touchdown as their first lead of the game. They scored two touchdowns in the first seven minutes of this third quarter. The extra point came from another bad play and, as we headed to a break, the visiting ndale Knights thanks to this. small maneuver by Jonathan Monu on the road lead by six Hello fans, stay tuned during the fourth quarter tonight we will have the Harris teer scoring Drive of the game and reminder that his big card saves on fuel, food and more the night Knights Trail by touchdown at halftime an 80-yard touchdown run broken up by Isaiah breaks up on the first play from scrimmage in this third quarter gets a football stop, enrolls on the field and then a 20-yard breakaway from the quarterback Jonathan Monu and the night on top for the first time and there's a lot of energy, a lot of Buzz with these fans here tonight, Jay, that's gone, there's anxiety now, yeah, it's a full house, first half goes to Heritage Advantage, now the answer you have to get this crowd back into the game we talked about. juice for the night Dale coming out of the second inning in the second half Heritage has to find a way to get that momentum a big play a spark and needs something on special teams Rodriguez will kick an onside kick and this will fall into the hands of the line 10 yard great return to the 30 3540 changing the ball to the other hand and into the night now Jamie Branch territory another monster return and that's what I needed, although I think Branch also took a little damage on that tackle, but This drive will start at the 42 yard line.
Good blocking job by the return unit and the number 80 clock, Jack O Conell, right there sealing it off, then you'll get extra yards to cross midfield and Branch defensive back who now leaves his mark on special teams. like he's going to get some treatment on the bench too, but a big comeback for Branch and this second Drive of the second half starts in positive territory for Heritage and Brandon Crutchfield takes another low step, it looked like the knee was down and yeah , there's the whistle Bo, they've had all kinds of problems breaking the ball tonight that's not in Crutchfield that's at the Heritage Center five L on the play We second in 15 that's Jackson Brooks number 74 the center and nothing that Crutchfield could do right there is a loss of five stacks a pair of receivers at the top and bottom of the second and 15 Lambert inside the 40, a good recovery picks him around nine with carry, but those are mistakes in week seven which you simply cannot commit, especially now that you are behind.
In the second half, well, you have to give the defensive line credit for the night. Now Heritage, you have the great special teams, they play Wallace Clark, this field position offense just has the feeling that they have to run third and seven here, this may be it. four territory down, yeah, some action right there on the defensive line, they take Lambert to the left of Crutchfield and now a marker is placed on the opposite side and this is going to be offside on the night knights, we saw A couple of guys moved in the neutral zone, it looked like they were back, but the official on the sideline announced the penalty that will now go from third and seven to third and two now third and two, as long as you don't get a sack or If something bad has happened here, this is four down territory for me, you're in no man's land, you have two downs to get a two yard spread formation again for her to the Huskies at Third and two good snaps.
Lam takes the right cuts, it's back. driven down but should have enough for a first down, took it to about 32, number 73, Robert Milum, got his guy out of the way, look at him P, good job, just created enough path, Leon Crosby too, number 70 , those two. stopping right another ncdps first try ncdps.gov SLCC Careers start your new career there 3 minutes left third quarter Nale defending with a six point lead Crutchfield, the quick one gave way, he tried to throw it, man, he caught it in the air and except three maybe four yards LX came through the play with a big hit, the offensive lineman on the same play stopped and looked at the number 11, just shoots through G of maybe two seconds 29 approaching two minutes left, now a small personnel problem, a challenge in the last second of the race.
He came onto the field from the Heritage sideline and then ran out and that will force Wallace Clark to use a valuable timeout when you're at home down six points late in the third quarter, but he could afford a penalty right there for 12 players on the field. . So that's 212 left in this third quarter of 2014, the night Dale leads and a reminder in the fourth quarter of tonight's game. We will select the local player for the game on West Shore. West Shore Home will turn your old bathtub into a modern and spacious shower. just one day, picture, restful night, this is beautiful, a big moon behind us, it's 70°, no rain, clear skies, that's rain, no hurricane in our future, no delays at all, next ones six games are highly competitive tonight, this is incredible, yes I mean back and forth.
Every team, these are teams we'll see in the playoffs, so it's good to see them test each other. Here we go, it's second down and eight after a timeout burned by Heritage Brand and Crutchfield, the quarterback, and they hand it off to Pon. on the Jet Sweep to the left side and on the sideline he gets close to the score, so they chase him around the 22-yard line, it will depend on where Ricky Persons' brother gets the opportunity as a young player and talented, so they have such good depth in the backfield, a lot of guys that came to make plays tonight marked it a little short, so Crutchfield bounced up the sideline and got a play call from the offensive coordinator, came back out of the pistol formation and now Adair is positioned to his left. on third and less than a yard it looks like a bit of personal indecision again as far as the formation person is now set up on the left and they will get the play with another low snap, Adair finds space within yards of the first down and more for a challenge. close to 10 was it me or the crutch feels KN like he's almost down again he was close hecrouch for a challenge he only has the ability to crouch as he crosses the line as he falls forward and has the awareness to follow his offensive line which was a great recovery and enter the North Carolina College Foundation's Red Zone, helping you plan your application. and pay the university first and goal Husky looks for the last fumble with the hit packaged by Night Dale and the Knights survive and maintain the lead in the recovery tyan Davis a fumble inside the 10 by Heritage, well, Tyler Davis has been making plays at wide receiver, the ball gets fumbled and then he picks up the ball, that was a great job up the middle, Suter, yeah, Micah Sumter number 55 hit him.
Loose, now he's coming back, he's playing on the offensive line, these guys are playing both ways tonight. now there's a d the staff right now, but wow, that's the second fumble deep in Dale night territory tonight by Heritage and the Knights who got out of jail maintaining their six-point lead with one minute 35 left on the massive third hit on the first down right there. nowhere is that Preston Helmer and Helmer's really good player on the defensive end knows exactly what his keys are sees the hold and says not under my official watch like the and there's a line night with that stance that tells me they are cramps and it could be cramps plural, not singular and I think that's rest and the only reason I know that is because I saw the red and blue tape around their spikes on that 80 yard run and yeah, they're feeling around of the Caps man, his entire body. he held on well, I hope he's okay, he's been, I mean, amazing second half, oh these cramps suck, they're not, they're not fun, you feel like you move your muscle an inch and your whole body freezes again and starts again, they're massaging the Cavs, but again, he ran for over 100 yards in this quarter alone, they need him and he took that big hit too, so that's 115 left in this third quarter, which gives the Heritage defense at least a chance to reset and rethink their I'm coming here because the offense of the night has been very good in this third quarter, perhaps more than anything else for Heritage's mental break after that fumble inside the 10-yard line yards.
I mean, they've left a lot of points out there because of two critics. turnovers in this game good for the defense now the message sees Wallace Clark talking to his team hey we need a turnover they handed us over let's get it back they're still trying yeah they're still working on that right calf I think . the left one could also be stiff. This is where, if you are in college, you have several athletic trainers working on the necessary muscles at once. He's in pain, yes, and that helmet is coming off. I guess this massage isn't doing the job yet. so a little stretching could make it worse or better, but I don't see anyone bringing him Gatorade, Power Aid, or water.
There's the massage. Yes, plus it's right in the middle of the field. If I was close to the sideline, I could do it. We'll probably take him off the bench and treat him there, but he's in the heart of the field, around the 12 or 13 yard line. Now it looks like a couple of athletic trainers on the Heritage side are going to come out and say can we ask? If we can help, this game had great pacing. Are there any more highlights we can show? He hopes to have more. I mean, for tonight they need it. Hopefully he'll be okay, but he's going through a lot of pain. cramps and Randy Raglin tonight with all the personnel they've had mixing it up, matching the work he's done to get these guys going, especially in the second half, yeah, the question now comes up every time you get a break and there's going to be some signs question about when.
That will be now, they will bring a cart to the field to at least deal with these band cramps so he can continue to play well. Now where does the depth come from in the backfield for the night because he has been your number one primary option in the backfield all year. Without exception Sam Thomas has 16 carries this year in the first six games for zero rest. He was 91, so we'll see if it's Thomas who comes in since they can't ice the game yet. right leg cramp for Isaiah's break and he's jumping on the edge of that car, well you missed the production, also the leadership, he's a senior, he's one of the leaders on your team, hopefully They will be able to recover it and make it work again. again because they need him not only in the running game but also in the aerial game, where he has been good tonight also with the ball, so they will be able to leave the field, the cramps and almost 100% confirmed that that is what that we are. dealing with a break, it can leave your body in a couple of minutes and then it can come back to you 5 10 15 minutes later, so they hope to get it back and have it back at full strength, but with these cramps right now. stage, you're not quite sure and now it's going to be Sam Thomas in the 23 backfield as we resume on second and 11 and he's going to hold on and stretch and jump forward to about the 35 and that will bring up third and three, that's a good recovery for on Monday, yes, a big chunk they ate to get eight yards.
La Zona read the offensive line again, we've talked in the second half about adjustments that need to be made, it starts up front and they responded to that call by doing a much better job this half, third and three, the ball Le's hands monu a look at the sideline important play Heritage can leave the field in the last 30 seconds of the third quarter they are loading the box and soundthe whistles just before In the middle, this will be a timeout taken for a big play. You're right, so Randy Rag will call a timeout. He's not happy he had to burn one.
There could have been a training problem there. Jay, well, making sure everyone's ready. the same page because you know how important this is, if you can continue this journey, eat more on the clock and get the first down now for Heritage before timeout was called. Eight men in the box, they were playing the race all day now. The key is that you hope to solidify any inner career. If Night Dale goes to the outside, you have to be strong on the edge to force the running back to the inside, where all your teammates are. You have to be strong at the point of attack.
The beautiful look of the Husky Stadium end zone here at Wake Forest 2014 is the night Dale led the KNS defense and pitched a shutout in this third quarter. 80-yard touchdown run on the first play of this third quarter. They just took advantage of Isaiah's break with that shit. now he's on the side that gets more treatment and monu gave ndale the lead with a 20 yard touchdown run about 4 and A2 minutes ago this is third and three short and they're going to give it to Thomas and he's not going to get We get back to the line of scrimmage and that's it and there's the stop that Heritage needed and putting away Deontay Cunningham number 56 nine defenders in the box moved another guy down Cunningham shoots right through the middle game very aggressive and there's the excitement that the defense needed a big play to get off the field and it looks like nil is going to let time run out and be cleared away from the other end of the field when the fourth quarter begins.
This is set to be a fantastic finish in the ACT six a couple of touchdowns in the third quarter and away night Dale up six heading into the fourth a great crowd Coming home at Heritage Breast Cancer Awareness Night too and we have this one that is set for an end of Danny the fourth quarter begins the night of 2014 Dale leading a Heritage scored 13 unanswered points in the third quarter versus a fourth and two nights, Dale will clear it. They've been very aggressive down four tonight, but it's Micah Sumpter who kicks it and Crutchfield, one of the twin safeties, backs up the return. and the putt will be fielded by Crutchfield, if he chooses, he will let it stop around the 21 yard line and it will be a 44 yard kick with a lot of roll and Crutchfield will head to the sideline for the play because he is the quarterback for the first time in his high school career as of tonight due to injuries sustained from Lees Thomas' season-ending injury and is now trying to get his first come-from-behind win in his high school career secondary school, the coaching staff trusts him, he has shown us. a lot tonight for him to come in and play as he has run the ball leading the offense.
I mean, it's hard not to come off the field and he's there every play, special teams offense and defense, so he comes to crutch field. The Field Drive will begin at the 21-yard line, another low snap. Crutchfield advances. He has great running skills as we saw before. They drag from behind around the 30-yard line. They pick up nine for Crutchfield, but it's a good thing. The men, the defender, held on. around the hips because Crutchfield almost hits the afterburners again, he's dangerous in the open field when he realizes okay, it's time to go, he makes a good tackle to take down Tim Christmas, otherwise if Christmas doesn't he did, he didn't knock it down. would have been taken out would have been a sack by Cole, another low fumble, a bit picked up by Crutchfield now has to improvise, turns the corner and a little brushing hit as he leaned out of bounds that the Snapper needs to do.
Things are easier for Crutchfield, right now third downs are coming up and Crutchfield, with his athletic ability, he doesn't have space, but he makes it up now, it's third and two, so this is a great third down because you don't think you're . I'm going to go for fourth down, I backed up, so you have to get two yards to continue. Drive me for the first time, starting as a quarter of high school. The last thing you have so much going on was the last thing you had to worry about. Can a snap come to me on the fly?
There were several on the ground and another half dozen around Crutchfield's ankles. We'll see if Jackson Brooks can make the third and two clean snap here, that time they deliver this is a first down challenge. yards and more until the numbers up to the 45 to the 47 yard line, which is 17 for a challenge and a very important first down for the husk, very patient, led by Adair and then takes off from the offensive line Greg Davis number 54, good blocking I That means these guys up front are staying consistent, Carter Jones is also clearing the way in a good spot. nc.gov was the first one out of their spot for covid-19 protection, they lost a couple on the next play, Patrick was that conversion, I mean they needed that third and two got 17, that was a play they had they execute and they did the job.
I haven't seen many sustained offensive drives from Heritage though, a couple of big plays, one by Adair, a couple by Crutchfield, but they were forced to go 79 80 yards right here, they'll only have a couple more possessions left. in this game and that extra. period, yes, it could be a great second down and 12, this is not where the huskies want to be. Crutchfield on the give Straight Ahead Lambert Not much Lambert third and 11 up Low Max again and on the hit, all good now for the defensive line of the night Dale you I imagine the ball will be in the hands of 16.
What's the key to this play? You have to keep him on the no, of course, you can't let him break the middle, but you can't let him go over the edge, well, we just have I've seen Crutchfield throw a couple of times very, very early in the game since then. , there will be zone reads and the Quarterback Keepers will go to the air here on Third and 11 it seems that Sprints moves the score further down in first down yards and more for Crutchfield if it holds, he takes it out of Bounds at the 35 is a gain of 20 but I think this is coming back it's going to stop but that's what the night Dale couldn't do is let him out on the left side of the offensive line.
The hold will end up on the right side, they gave him the lead, so that will erase a 20 yard pickup that would have been a third down and now they'll call this one, I mean there haven't been many penalties. at Heritage tonight, but three majors, two pass interference calls and now, well, now it's the same for the defense of the night. He just got 20, if you let him out of the pocket he might do it again. You have to keep it locked up. Don't let him go to the edge, they've seen the ball from the 32, so they need 24 here on third down again.
Crutchfield hasn't been tasked with throwing the ball tonight, three receivers in the back of his Screen Fourman Rush, he's going to rush forward and try to run it again 45 Midfield out of bounds and they'll flag him at the 49, so 5 yards away now you're in night territory, you can go for this I mean, I think I think. yeah, I mean a real opportunity, I mean, look at it, you make a guy miss and then he almost picks it up. The punt team enters the field, although I'm a little surprised, well, and you look at the timeouts the moment you know the situation.
If you don't understand now it's fourth and five if it was fourth and three quarter and four that's five yards it's still difficult for Ailson to score it fifth of the night for her with little pressure she takes it out there's no one back to recover and the Huskies will allow this one to have a very favorable streak within the 10 excellent work by Aon down by helim and with 856 remaining night Dale on the road with the ball up six lights there with a lead of 20 to 14 in Heritage 856 was fourth quarter and there on the bench that not a good show for Ndale KNS fans, that's Isaiah Break who has been dealing with multiple RS's for the last 10 or 12 minutes a night on offense, Jay, not fit to return despite training .
The staff have been doing everything they can to get him ready for the game, so Sam Thomas number 23 remains in place while the breaks are again excellent. Aelson clears pinning Monu at the back of the night inside the 10 and this is migu fakes a handoff and takes it from the left for about four well Wallace Clark says Hey, listen, special teams, let's pin down the defense, we have to do our job. to give the ball back to the offense and the message is we're going to get a turnover they're backed up let's be aggressive we're going after the ball two on play three on the second play and the night won't be rushed here both teams have burned a timeout in the second half, so night, Dale and Heritage have two remaining each.
I'd be surprised if, to be honest, the ball comes out of Monu's hands and it's Monu on the fake steps and stretches close for a first down, he'll have it using Thomas. like the decoy moniku will get the first down for the gentlemen when he gets the ball watch him read the right side it has nowhere to go and then cuts it to the left with vision good job since there's nothing there okay , I will go. Back on the other side he finds a very high point. nc.gov first in place for covid-19 protection first try for the gentlemen again the clock advances 745 left in the agreement of the fourth night at six and monu taking every second off the game clock and this is Thomas He broke the first inning and picks up a couple and using the clock wisely.
I mean, he's his friend right now. I mean, you have the right wait times here, but they will play slow and continue to get first downs as their goal. I mean, this is where Randy Rag's experience, I mean, this is not a new guy in coaching, he's been around and had great success for years and years, six years at Middle Creek, some time at West Johnson, time at Fairmont, I mean, he knows how to get games on track and win big conference games on the road and now we're going to go down a score and this is offside at Heritage, they're not doing themselves any favors at all, the Penalties have been crucial moments, the turnovers have been in the red zone and you don't win games in week seven with these types of mistakes you are just trying to be aggressive and when you take the ball away you have to hold back and now second and three I for night you said it a couple plays ago keep the ball on the ground I'd be surprised if they throw it I mean worst case scenario here at night.
Come on, if they don't turn you over, you just get a couple more first downs, even if you force it, they force you to punt, they give you a Heritage has a couple of minutes left on a long field and that penalty made it second and three, so although there are marginal yards for Sam Thomas, it will be third and about one and the clock is about to go under 6 minutes, well, what if I'm a Heritage defender third and I'm selling for the run. I'm going downhill because you know that night. I mean, if you pitch, you'll have one-on-one coverage.
Keep the ball on the ground while the clock I'm going to move, I mean, this is another big big conversion that goes to zero and throws half, yeah, I mean, they go slow, they take their time and again, the car wall will bring the house 25 30 seconds off the game clock. This means that you now reach a point where Night Dale should convert this first try and maybe get one more, you're talking about two minutes left on the game clock and we now have a timeout taken by Night Dale before a third and one and night. now trying to squeeze this one out for six thirds and one for the nights left 541 when we return 541 gone the night of the fourth quarter Dale on the road leading Heritage 20-4 Knights facing a third and one calls a timeout Jay after using about 40 seconds on the play clock remembers those videos we used to watch in science class when we were in 8th grade this feels like a boa constrictor around a rodent just squeezing the life out of the rodent feels like what ndale is making Heritage right now great third down expect the unexpected you run the ball or have the quarterback hold it or throw it here migu the left side goalie first down and goes out to about the 35 yard line exceptional play call have you seen the read zone Heritage was looking for the inside transfer moniku wisely guards it was designed by Randy Raglin he goes outside outside the perimeter all those hats are in the middle nice stamp block on the outside he gets the first down and now oh oh timeout taken by Heritage here, this is a moment, oh, which I can't imagine, it's one they wanted to use, but they do it after the conversion which leaves Heritage with a timeout, which now, all of a sudden, Jay, if you're on that night band and Randy.
Raglin, two first downs, this game could end well and the first down situation for ndale, even if onlyyou get one, I mean, you kick the ball, you know, we're talking hypothetically, you'll leave very little time if you get two, yeah. the game is probably over, if you get one you will limit time for Heritage, so for Wallace Clark and his team the message is we have to stop three downs, we have to get a turnover or get off the field, fumble or stop . First try here, but now you need to figure out the best time, the optimal time to use that final timeout.
If I'm on the night, Dale, now this ball is not leaving Monu's hands because you have Sam Thomas replacing the break, it doesn't seem like. like the break, he's in any condition to get back on the field, the turnover is the only thing that really beats you at the moment and when I carry the ball, you usually have it, you know, with one arm, I'm putting both arms on it to protect it. you know they're going to try to take it all away here we go first down from 35 for the Nale Knights on the road leading by six trying to stay in the race ex six onagon gives Thomas and Thomas dripping staying low I got to about 38 for Haage I can't jump offside, you have to wait for the ball to break, well, let's see when it broke because Thomas gave the ball to the referee at 517, let's see how much the clock says on this. next snap because I bet it will be in the 430 431 range, they are lined up ready to take it, but we will probably see my good milking here, they have to be patient with the defensive line.
They are trying to release the ball, they have to wait at their 445 position and a cross at 441 and do nothing on that second attempt. L I know you want to use the clock, although Heritage looked like they were all lined up and used the timeout but they are on the blocks ready to shoot once the ball is SN, well Wallace Clark is getting his chips in right now, he just used Heritage your last timeout before a third down, usually the last timeout taken after the third. game down, but Wallace wanted to preserve another 35 seconds or so here and again it's third and eight, you might be thinking, well, maybe they put it in the air, maybe they threw an incomplete pass, the clock stops anyway , so that's the chess game between the two. of these coaches and what Clark is telling his team now is that they can throw it, they'll probably run it.
I would expect Monteu to go out to the perimeter and everyone would put the ball in his hands. Well fans, let's take a look at Harris Teeter's scoring drive from the game and here we go, the big drive we saw 10 plays, 75 yards, a factored penalty and Monu ended up running from 20 late in the third quarter to make the night. Give him the lead they still have 20 to 14 and here's Monu's touchdown that a 20 to 14 10 play 75 yard contest took almost 4 and 1/2 minutes off the clock and the lead that night Dale is still playing with here coming Back to live action Third down and eight Heritage out of timeouts trailing by six Do you gentlemen dare to shoot the ball?
Monu great pass downfield Receiver trips without flag Guess who's in coverage Crutchfield is in full The clock stops at 423 Best case scenario for Har well, being third and eighth, you say it's okay, if you keep the ball on the ground , it's going to be hard to pick it up, let's do the knockout blow, one-on-one coverage on the outside, Crutchfield, step by step, with Davis, and you know. little contact no flag stumbles on Falls but they were looking for the big play to end the ball game called do you like it on Third and Eight? In that situation, if you keep the ball on the ground, you're going to use the clock but they were looking, they saw one without safety help at the top they were looking to win it well night D will save it we'll see what kind of pressure Mike Suter is under, takes it off, floats to Cradle of Crutchfield at the 36-yard line, plenty of time, no timeouts, now you're one touchdown and one extra point away from the lead and a potential win, and the key for Heritage is you in this advance, the rest of the ball.
In the game you have four attempts to get 10 yards, so that's your mentality here, we don't have to get everything, we don't have to rush, we can't have negative plays, there are no penalties, there are no sacks, nothing about where we go backwards . I have to move on. I would rather have punted with 320 left on the clock. Jay, well, I'm not paid to make these decisions. Here we go. Heritage Football trails by six, 69 yards and an extra point from the takeoff to Crutchfield. into Speedy's hands and takes him out of bounds, which will stop the clock at the 46-yard line.
Bradley Forer, Heritage's offensive coordinator, is going to put the ball in the hands of the 16. He will let him go off his designed run improvised for the entire offensive line. Left garbage field picks up a first down on the first play of the series. Gain of 11 yards for 412 remaining. Patrick Wallace Clark's defense did his job coming off the field. This is Adair and Adair stopped behind the line of scrimmage. He lost a couple and again there were no timeouts. he left his four down territory regardless of where Heritage is on the field, but he doesn't want to be second and 13, well, good job by Davis making the play, but if he wants to play back, keep everything in front of you.
I don't want to give up the big play Let the clock keep ticking just inside 340 the time to make the snap How deep The linebackers are playing in right field restarts Isaiah Jackson three receivers left the snap low Ducking again follows a block and There's nowhere to go I can't turn the clock in the corner will stop at 328 and there's still about 12 yards left to go on third down. We'll spot it at 47. We need to get to Nale 43, so third and a long 10 air to the right of Crutchfield. Crutchfield Sprints on the right. It seems that he wants to throw and he will do it towards the sideline, jumping and grabbing the 46 and a fantastic reception by Isaiah Jackson, but there is little left for the first attempt, it will be the fourth and a good job with the placement of Crutchfield sends it high, but where only his guy can get it, Jackson is focused on getting it as he knows he's going to get hit, how about that Dwayne Lee entrance?
Okay, this is all crutch, right, Patrick, here we go fourth and one, this is the game here for Heritage. If they do not convert 16 carrying this ball a new group of bodies on the field Adair will position himself to the right of Crutchfield the space for Crutchfield will be to his left center he takes it to the right lunging forward he jumps past the man finds space on the line lateral There goes Crutchfield and Heritage tied the game with a fourth touchdown and a 43-yard touchdown run by Brandon Crutchfield. Crutchfield's third touchdown of the game couldn't have come at a more opportune time to save the Huskies.
Everyone in the stadium knew who they were going to get. the ball Crutchfield 10 guys in the box everyone was looking to stop him once he reached the second level extra point for the leader is over, clean cross Heritage on top 2120 the lead for Heritage Joshua's money was on the big game Look at Crutchfield , his team needed him to make a fourth and one play, the game is over if he doesn't pick it up and do more than that, he hasn't left the field, he's playing on the offensive defense special team, he's so impressive and now this crowd back home it's up two teams 5 in one featured coaches Randy Raglin Wallace Clark players are stepping up this is what we hoped would go the distance remember senior quarterback Lex Thomas is headed to NC State injured during the year Crutchfield gets in his first high school start tonight, he is responsible for all three of Heritage's touchdowns on a 36-yard and final 41 and bailing out the Huskies out of a timeout on their potential final drive of the game. and now he'll be out there playing defense to try. and put it to KCK at 232 remaining in a timeout for Nale and the start of the American Military University AMU, the number one provider of higher education for the US military and here are the boots and whistles before of the kick, this game went to triple overtime last year.
It doesn't look like it's going to go to overtime, it looks like it's going to go to the end, the math doesn't really work out very well for that tonight too deep on the CFL ice, maybe Thomas, he's on the other side, there he is our referee trying to award the whistle so that the kick-off was before the uh ready to play whistle so that there is no penalty Jacob Cook will play again there is no flattening to play with a

heritage

reick 2120 all standing on a solid kick returnable the knee was down though on the catch of Dwayne Lee's kick dway we saw that impact on Crutchfield early in the game from Back Field to get that right knee J out first for the perfect call, well let's get to our player of the game tonight brought to you by West Shorol and our player of the game Jay, I don't know who he could be, he deserves it.
I these highlights that we're going to show for him in his first start at quarterback to make these plays, he's done it all for his team and that last fourth down conversion with the touchdown, I mean, when his team needed him the most. , came out ahead and doesn't leave the field either, comes back into the game alive on the first down, a determined carry but not many vertical yards, that's Sam Thomas. who was in the back field once again so now we know we won't see Isaiah return to the field at night Dale when they need him most the way you're the home player for the West Shor game presented by West home conversion Shor. his old bats in a modern and spacious shower in just one day there is a timeout for the night Give him less than two minutes to play the last quarter second down monu left side returning near the 25 which is a catch catch on the sideline a Michael panel fans don't like to be too close but short for first down is third down now for 19 third down monu strong arm excellent protection was close to being out of bounds when C that ball the right foot rule for catch third and short, monu goalie burst in slips a little and then gets hit around the 35, which was an awkward slide, to dig that foot into the turf and cut the quarterback in the other direction as he passes, yes, just hard.
He lands now that you have. The only timeout, when do you use it? Person coming down the ice point 34. in.gov first down backing into the pocket monu dances back finds some space a little more time now will try to pass through a couple Defenders are drilled around the knees picked up such time a good hit by Trevon right there to cut it off Well, number nine, Preston Helmer cuts the edge, you see nine pass, they force him back inside and then the person who worked comes to set up the hit. Second second down as we approach one minute to go.
Nale has a time out. Bill examines Here comes the pressure. he pulls away, darts softly up the middle, finds his man near midfield and Tyon Davis goes down, though back to the 25-yard line, this is going to be tough on the passer in his inheritance, so the sack became and another massive and untimely penalty for the husk initially this looks like it's going to be a catch monteu somehow uses a stiff arm points out i don't see it well that's the full catch at 15 plus that you still have your only timeout this will move the ball all the way 39 yard line 9 and I didn't see it now Nale has missed an extra point in this game, so I would never, I mean, a field goal could win it, but how much confidence do you have in your field goal team, We will see if it comes true. playing first down from the 39 moving a couple yards forward is Thomas, this might be where you take that timeout if you're Coach Raglin, here he's going to burn it quickly to the line and they're going to hold on to the timeout. here second and eighth do not have many plays left here in this bonus The withdrawals throw to the left sideline and a jump grab is made right at the 30 where the tackles are out of bounds where it was and after the timeout of panel capture taken that's the Last one, Nale has 23 seconds left in the game and now you have to make a lot of decisions and inform your team during this timeout here What A Catch look at this, he's getting hit when a ball hits his hands , you know your legs are getting knocked out and you can still hold it strong hand panel what play so if you run your Raglin here Jay, you're talking about a conversion the first clock stops, so you're spiking the ball, get in range goal I mean, you need to do all that now because there is no more time.
I mean, you're telling your team three plays in advance. What do we do if this happens in different scenarios and Wallace Clark is turning on his team and then the other one? Also ask on the sideline, what are you doing tonight in terms of preparing your special teams well, your field goal unit and the biggest key to the night is that you can't take a sack? Moniku has to get rid of the ball in yourinside tackles. or the line gives protection to your quarterback and then I think they're going to shoot into the end zone, so the pressure and the stress will be on Heritage's defensive backs, but can you do it now in the third, no? ?
I want to get the first down first, well, you're going to get the first down first, exactly, you're going to try that, but I wouldn't be surprised to try, here we go, third, they're looking downfield. Seline's little quick pass to the sideline incomplete even though it was intended for Davis 19 seconds left fourth down you're out of field goal range now getting this first down right and how about that reaction from Wallace Clark? This is the game for your defense. This is it, you give the ball to Monteu. I think you should let it go. Take it outside.
Pi up, first try. Choose the first attempt and don't go out of bounds. The clock starts with the place. There's not much time left for the fourth. down 2120 Heritage monum dances back lost the soccer ball, it's loose on the grass and Night Dale recovers it down for a sack and Crutchfield in the back field helps and the Heritage huskies are going to survive the night in that Deil Trevor people did the damage pushed by Holloway and that's your ball game and what a game Wallace Clark's was, he gave his message to the team, be aggressive, go after the ball they ran, Crut receives it, now he will get it back to kneel and win the game.
Wallace Clark lit up. his team, that was the game at stake. Victory formation for the first time in Crutchfield's career. There are no timeouts left for the Knights and that snap will be the end. An absolute gem of a six nap contest tonight. The last seconds mark Wallace Clark and the Heritage. The Huskies celebrate a 21-20 homecoming win, do you think that's thanking these Husky Hooligans? He's holding the flag, homecoming win for Wallace Clark and the Heritage Huskies couldn't have done it without the fans, I've never seen a reaction like that in my life, I love it, I love it. a game, what a game, how much this game meant to this team and to him and all the effort, the work you put in during the week, Neil B until the end and you win on the way home, that's one way to ensure the end homecoming weekend at Heritage. what a victory, what a game, a privilege to be part of it.
