. Now I'm back in the Duck Commander office where it all

started

. This is where he was learning how to be a CEO. I have learned a lot about business. We filmed a television show. I was in this office called Doug Dynasty, here's the deal. I'm still the CEO of Duck Commander, but there are other things that I feel like I want, I want to show, I want to teach and some of you remember me like that and that's okay. This was a section of my life when my hair was long and especially when I was filming the show, but I have to be honest, I don't really miss this hair at all, it's very hot, but we'll come back and talk about some of the Dynasty episodes Doug, some of the things that really happened in that crazy

time

of life, but hey, just like in life, things change and move on because this is the deal.

I'm a grandpa now, when the Duck dynasty

started

I was just a dab. I'm still a dad, I have six kids, I have four grandkids now, so I feel like there's some grandpa advice that I want to give and there's some experience. I think as we get older we can teach that in a fun way. Ah there you have it, I'm a young grandpa but I'm a grandpa so since this is my

channel

I can talk about what I like and one thing I love is cooking. I love everything related to food, obviously I love to eat, but I love to cook. it's just as fun and there are a lot of things I want to talk about cooking smoking grilling cooking in the kitchen is one of my favorite things I'm teaching my kids right now maybe one day I can even teach my wife because she's not really me a good cook, I can't wait to follow that path and show you some of my favorite recipes and how to cook them well.

I guess it's no secret that I'm a big outdoorsman so I love being outdoors, I love going out and really hunting and getting my own food is one of the things I really enjoy, cooking is amazing , but when you're a do-it-yourself guy, you actually go out and get to know yourself, which is a whole new ball game, I love it, we're going to talk a lot about that and ways we can go out, being creative by nature, figuring out how to get food, just having fun outdoors, so it's one of my passions and we're going to talk a lot about it, another thing that's important to me is my faith and my lord, that's why I want delve into the word of God, analyze the problems as I see them and listen to your questions, listen to your thoughts and then I.

I think it's very important for us to be bound to the word of God and how does that resonate today? How does that resonate with our children and our families, our spouses, our jobs, our money? I mean there's a lot of wisdom there and that's why I love it. doing that I love reading the word I love hearing other thoughts on that and that's something that we're going to address, we're going to go in and see if we can learn everything we can and prepare for That, especially in sharing our faith, and that's the path that I love to live on and hey, I am the product of a father who came to the Lord and changed our lives forever and changed many other lives.

And so, Doug, it was nice to end with a sentence and there was a reason for that, there was a meeting, so I can't wait to dig into that and explore that. So Cory and I did a show where we actually interview people and so on. I want to keep that theme and because I want us to get along and find out even if we have different opinions, I also want to talk to people who are experts in their field and just some of the people I know, so Kurt.
