Charizard Premium Box Is Still Cheap In 2024...

Today we are going to open another box of the Ultra

premium

collection, but this time it is the Charizard Ultra

premium

collection. This box was released almost 2 years ago for $119.99. They printed so many of these it was absolutely ridiculous, but there are a ton inside. of really cool Charizard items. So today we're going to go back in time and look at Charizard's UPC, so here's the sword and shield. Charizard box from the ultra premium collection. um this thing was quite a buzz when it was released and it's almost been 2 years it's been a little over a year and a half and as you can see here they're around $112 maybe $115 and when they were released , they were much

cheap

er, in fact, I think I could even do it. being able to get them for $85 or $90 or even less than that and then yeah, as you can see the suggested retail price is like $120, it's interesting to see that with a product like this, that means there were so many of these printed that it would even be possible I think, but anyway let's see what it's like to open one of these in

now because I don't remember all the packages that are there, they're going to evolve.

Gosh, chilling rain, maybe I I don't know, let's see, okay, so we have this little side piece that we're going to take out and then it opens up a little bit differently than the last one that we opened here, come on, okay, so it has the oh . That's cool, that's like the exact size to be able to fit this in here, okay, it works, so we open it up. There are a lot of things here. Let's see everything. Let's add up the price of everything. Come in here and see if it's really worth what they're buying now, about $112, or what's the deal here, but we've got this front piece on the outside and then you've got the drawers in there, but let's open this up first and, um, let's look at this. so we're going to blow that up and there it's all good, so this is going to be our playmat that comes with this box and it's going to have Charizard in here, which is one of the artwork on one of those special cards. that you can get um, but there it is.

I'll do a little top down view, it looks like it's super wrinkled. I don't remember them being that wrinkled, but maybe over time it's become more like wrinkled since it's been that way for so long. The play mat is in the front and then let's go from left to right. Here we will start with Charizard. This has different artwork for each of these drawers. Here first one comes out and I think I see a Charizard card. Ok, oh, I think they're all here, actually yeah, yeah, that's what happened with this, they actually put them all here.

Well, here's a code card, but we'll go through it first in a second, let's see what some of these packages are. let's get in here um so I seem to remember there's a lot of good stuff so we've lost origin twice we're going to have Astral Radiance three times and then we're going to have Bright Stars three times so those are solid sets. Okay, that's pretty solid, so let's look at the cards you get here, put them all together. I remember people going a little crazy about it but here we go okay so the code card and then you get yeah so there's three in a row the first one out is one of my favorites it'll be Charizard V sleeping there with Venusaur In the background, there is like fire everywhere, like something has gone wrong, very good, a solid truck, this could be my favorite.

Of all the Charizard artwork you have here, but let's look at them all again CU um, okay, yeah, because I can't tell, okay, yeah, I remember them all, actually, oh, here's the other really good one . This one is so out of place. However, in the center, but this is Charizard Varar fighting Mewtwo, there is another piece of art that you can see like in the other perspective, but this is another very cool one, it's really from left to right, but it's another piece of art really nice one you have there so The card is like 10 bucks and then we have this one which is the artwork that we saw on the playmat it's Charizard Vmax and they all look different this is the most expensive one this is the second most expensive and then this one. the

est one, I don't know how it works, but I think they're all pretty awesome, so we have a total value of around $70 right now, but let's see what else we have inside this middle drawer next and I.

I feel like yeah, there's a lot of packages in this one, so we get a beaching marker, the staple of yesteryear, and then, oh, I think I see lots of evolving skies, possibly, oh, wait, wait for something El threw in there. In the middle, what is it? Oh, it's Charizard's gold coin. It's okay, not bad. You get very nice coins in all these Ultra PR collection boxes, but we have two fusion attacks, sorry, three fusion attacks, three evolving skies and then a vivid voltage and a darkness. from Blaze that's a good lineup well this is pretty interesting we're at about $129 worth of stuff out of this box right now that's pretty good because I think they have a market price of 112 for one of these boxes, so We're getting a lot of value, there's another drawer.

I don't remember, I don't remember what's there, um, but we'll get to that. How about we open some of these packages right now? Because the package line is nice. ridiculous, it seems like the evolving Skies packages took it to the limit, like the value of the stuff you get here, but that's pretty good, I mean, everything already at around $129 worth of stuff here is pretty solid, we got ryhorn, Oh. Well, we've got the Charizard trainer gallery on a Kieran V and we're off to a really good start. It surprises me because the last ups we opened were definitely worth less than what you really pay for them, this one is already worth a lot more than it is worth.

It's sealed, so it's interesting to see that we have Snorlax. um it's interesting to see that, but it's just because I feel like there are so many of these that they printed. It was ridiculous that they didn't want to make the same mistake they made with. the celebrations Ultra Prem collection box that box the demand was absolutely wild I remember people were like sitting at Walmart waiting for them to be restocked like all the time um it was so crazy I remember seeing videos of it I was like what is it It happened, but they didn't, the celebrations print run was much smaller than this Charizard one and with it being Charizard and an ultra premium collector's box, Pokémon was probably like we could put it on baby Boon and I think they really did, oh, a coach.

Full art gallery in a non-hollow, okay, our luck is here today. I would like to see the other ups open. We didn't have much luck with the pulls, but today could be our day. I mean, these are all top-notch swords and shields. the packs are really good too, they are some of my favorites, man we are crushing it. Gore has to save them right now they're $1 a pack now so we'll save them for the L the last few packs there oh I opened it without revealing what the code card was so this is our only Blaze darkness that they threw in here, we have the Tor girl, we don't have Hollow, so we have our Vivid voltage booster pack. see how we do it here Vivid voltage Can we get the chachu?

It's probably going to be a no, but you never know yanma Whooper shiftry, now let's move on to Shining Stars, you get three packs of Shining Stars here. I feel like a Charizard type day, we got a Charizard out of here in the trainer gallery and then we got the three promo cards. um I can't really remember what it is, oh my gosh we're crushing it today. Ultra Ball in gold. right there, yeah, I can't remember what will be in that last one, um, yeah, I don't really know one, two, three, four, maybe some dice and there has to be more than that, although Twig Shins catches, okay, the Charizard shining star pack.

Honey, I'm actually excited about how Skies is evolving with this kind of luck right now. I mean, it's possible we could do something crazy by evolving. We're getting Pulse Weasel now. Fusion Strike and all these boxes have been going up in price, it's kind of It's crazy to see chilling rain Fusion hits the darkness of Blaze I think obviously the skies evolve, but like all these others are like moving, it's weird to see, but how it works with Pokémon, okay, Fusion strike okay, well, there's something here, come on. keep going, oh, there's something good there, something good, it's going to be an ALT art, it's a full Gomal V art, better because we haven't really even received normal VC cards today, we're just getting good things, toad, we don't HE.

I forgot that you have these covers that look really nice, it's Charizard Vmax art, very cool, so we had them and then we have these dice counters and golden states that are actually very good quality, they're heavy, they're very heavy, um, this is interesting. because everything that's here, it doesn't even include this box that's like the one that people keep and how, you know, they store things. I won't even count it, but everything that's here, the grand total seems to be around $140, maybe $135 to $140 and one. Of these you can get for maybe a pretty solid $125 dollars, one of the only ones we've opened so far in the last week that is actually worth more than the sealed item and I think a lot of that has to do with As I mentioned before, They printed so many of these, so many that people like you are competing on price to sell them, so I think it's interesting, I think it's cool to go back and open them from time to time, remember. and they remember what's inside them, they look at what's going on, so I had fun opening this up, but okay, guys, that'll do it.
