Mar 20, 2024
Welcome to my craft room friends. I'm so glad you stopped by to join me in making 10 new DIY

spring

decor

items that are all from Dollar Tree supplies. I'm so excited to share these projects today. Now, let's start with the

crafts

. To get started, use this bunny from the Dollar Plus section at Dollar Tree, this plastic container from the regular

dollar

sections, and then a foam square with some Greenery. My Greenery came from Hobby Lobby. I'm using this selection with these leaves that you see here as well as a boxwood garland that I'm going to cut and I just cut it all the way.

I saved tons of money doing it that way. Start by cutting the foam square to fit around the bunny in this oval bowl of ours. I'm going to glue all of these foam pieces in there so we can

ate the bottom of the bunny. Now the bunny itself is totally cute and you can put it on a table, but I want you to see that you can take a cute one. Decorate the piece and make it even better by adding a small garden underneath to hide that foam. I'm going to cover it with some Spanish moss.

More Interesting Facts About,

10 farmhouse decor spring crafts easy dollar tree diys...

You can see I poked some holes in that foam. The reason I did that was because the boxwood pieces of the garland don't have wire and it makes it easier to stick them on the foam so they are all nice and secure, but the one with the leaf has wire on it so you know when you are working with your Florals, work with that accommodation so you can make sure everything is glued down and secure and things don't fall apart. Once you have your little bunny bed in the garden, you're going to go ahead and grab some These eggs from the Dollar Tree are a shish kebab stick and I just broke it off so it goes up the egg and that way I can use it to stake a stake. in the foam that will make sure they fit nice and secure. without them coming off because honestly, hot glue isn't going to hold these eggs very well.

One thing I decided to go back and do was paint the container white. I wish I had done this first, but sometimes I do things out of order. I'm working on things I noticed and I think it would look better if I did this, so I still added it after all, after that you have an adorable finished garden bunny bed overseas, let's use one of these frames, four of these also frames, it's like a clipboard, but I want to get to the initial shape, which is this window of the Cathedral. We're going to go ahead and cut all of that off and pull it out with a pair of pliers if you pull.
10 farmhouse decor spring crafts easy dollar tree diys
It comes off very easily and then the clip on the front and then I also forgot to mention that we're going to use some of these blocks and that will help strengthen everything on the inside so go ahead and use a small screwdriver, take off the clip on the front. I always save my hardware from these types of things because sometimes you can use them for other projects, so I just put them in a Ziploc bag and then put them in a drawer. I'm just going to measure out a piece of this wood cling paper and I'm going to put it here, but you'll see I'm actually going to remove it.
I feel like this project is a little funny. You're seeing me in the process of how I think when I'm crafting and trying something new. I'm gluing these little window frames together and I'm going around all four sides and they fit perfectly into this little square of wood frame. box I had before now you will see me add those blocks to support the sides of my little window frames. We don't want them to get weak, so I'm going to add those wooden blocks to strengthen them. it also fits in there nice and perfect now at this point you can see that I decided to remove that contact paper and I'm still going to use it but it's because I decided that instead of painting with a brush I was going to speed up the process so I'm going to add a little of painter's tape to the black edge of that wooden box and I'll take it outside and spray paint the windows white.
I also decided to spray paint the inside bottom of that box black once I had everything spray painted now I'm going to go back with that contact paper and I'm smoothing it out and you can see I cut a little bit of a square corner on each one so that fit nicely in there and then the last thing I did What I'm going to do is I'm going to take some of this greenery that has wire on it and I'm going to twist it into a wreath and I'm going to add it to the bottom and you're going to have the most beautiful

farmhouse

chandelier, thank you. foreigner I found this beautiful wooden house in the

crafts

section of the Dollar Tree.
I have some of this long Garland Greenery and then this plaid ribbon also from the Dollar Tree. I'm going to remove that ribbon of twine at the top and then I'm going to take this garland and I'm going to twist it into a lovely little wreath. It's very simple to do, just twist a circle, pinch one and then take the other existing long piece and I like to make sure I wrap it around. twice because it makes the little Garland wreath look a lot thicker, so I'm just twisting all of that into place adding a little bit of hot glue and then I'm going to put that on the front of the house.
This house can be decorated in many different ways. for so many different holidays, I think it's so cute and I wanted to make sure I included it here on my channel to go find these houses, pick them up and you can do so many cool things with them. Now I'm going to take some wire because I feel like this is a little bit higher quality than thread and I'm just going to cut a piece that's long enough that I can make a loop. I always like to twist my wire like this because it just looks really

farmhouse

and cute.
I don't know, it's the way I always do it once, it's nice and comfortable there. I just think this will look so cute hanging on a wall somewhere that I'm going to add it. a plaid bow and then at this point we could stop here or we can take it a little further like I like to do here with my crafts on my channel. I'm going to take one of these metal tag label makers and I'm going to just create two little spots where I know where to take my alligator to make some holes. I love my alligator tool.
I talk a lot here on my channel if you're new. I've had this tool forever. It used to be fine. Still, it's a scrapbooking tool used to put eyelets on album pages, but it goes through metal, cardboard, and thick pieces of just about anything and it doesn't hurt your hand to use it, so I went ahead and punched two . holes and now I pulled out my Brad tray from my little organizing kit that I use for scrapbooking and I'm going to pull out two Brads that I think will look cute and work well with this metal tag sign and I'm going to just place them through the holes and then fix them in place by opening the back and to make sure they don't come out or come loose, I'll just add a little hot glue to stick them in place. and then on the front I'm going to slide a little piece of paper and I've decided to write the word home but it could be really nice because you could put your address, you could put your family's name, whatever you wanted.
Like if you haven't already and are enjoying this moment in my craft room today. Please like this video. I am so grateful for each and every one you do below. Let's use this. the Dollar Tree bunny sign, these eggs and then in addition to the gingham ribbon, I'm going to use the teal eggs, the white eggs, and the purple eggs, so I'm going with the color theme to match with the tape once you have them all taken out and unpacked, go ahead and take your bunny, turn him over and remove the carrots and staples. Now I'm planning on using those carrots for another DIY another day, so I'm just going to set them aside and pin them down and then for the bunny on the top of his ears, we're going to go ahead and remove that as well on the back of most of These, they have this little one almost like an aglet.
Like the end of a shoelace, you just pull it out and it comes off very easily without having to cut it and that's something you can also save for crafting, so now this is probably the trickiest part, but honestly this is really

easy

. I'm going very slow. with my drill because I don't want it to slip and hit my fingers and I just take my time making a hole in one side of each of the eggs, the other side of the egg already has a hole so now I'm going to Tomo my ribbon at the end, I fold the ribbon in half and I'm going to do a little slip knot right here, you can see, I just went around and took it out and tightened it and then on the other end so I can thread everything.
Go faster without fighting with the tape. I'm going to take a piece of wire. I'm going to glue the tip of that ribbon to the wire, so this will now serve as a long needle so I can thread the eggs. through and beads just make sure the wire isn't too thick that things can't get through so once you have the ribbon placed on the wire this will make it much easier to thread everything. I like to use this trick. a lot when I work with tape just because it makes it a lot faster, so you can see here I slid the first bead in and I'm going to go all the way to the end and we're going to clean up.
Up to this end where our little loop is, this is what you would use to hang this garland that we're making on the wall, so go ahead and cut that extra flap off when tying that knot. I'm going to add a little bit of glue and then I'm going to lower the bead and this will give it a shop finished look. These are the kinds of things that really make a difference in your crafts, so what I did was make a bead, an egg, a bead and a knot. I made a space for about three fingers and then I made another knot, I came back with another bead, then an egg, then a bead, then a knot, then a space, then a knot, then a bee, then an egg, then it would be a knot and I repeated this until the end, you will see at the end the finished pattern of what I made, but the fun thing about garlands is that you can do whatever you want with them and have so much fun and they are the cutest decorations. in a house so at this point you can see I'm trying to decide what to do between the bunny ears and at first I put all these extra beads on this egg and I kept sitting on it and I just wasn't sure.
Still, I went and hung it up and then decided no, I don't like the way it looks. I really want the bunny's ears to show up better than they did with this egg as a distraction between them, so I went. I went ahead and cut the middle, took out the egg and made these knots and then I went ahead and took out the beads and on the back I glued those ribbons and I liked this a lot more because I felt like it really showed off the rabbit's ears better. but you can see the pattern right here that I was talking about before and how I tied them all together and I loved it because it shows the ribbon and the beads and the eggs and then the bunny has the center of attention right center in the middle of your garland.
It will look so cute on a shelf or wall wherever you decide to hang it outside for this DIY. It's honestly one of my favorite projects of all time. I'm going to grab two of these hanging wire baskets that are in the garden section around

spring

, but you can sometimes find these all year round. I'm going to grab some wire cutters, I'm going to use some really strong wire cutters on this part because it's going to make it a lot easier to cut that center circle and now we're going to take those pieces and straighten them out as I'm straightening them out, you'll see the circle frame explode. , the cable is going to separate right there, that's where the joint is in that bottom circle, but it's not a big deal because it's very

easy

to repair and in the end you don't even notice it, so we're going to go ahead and straighten all those pieces to make them as nice and straight as possible, it's okay if they are not perfectly straight, they will look so cute when we are done, this is how I repaired it, it's very easy, just put a little hot glue on it, hold it until it dries and they stay in place, and then We'll add a little more hot glue and then we'll take some twine and wrap it around the joint.
This will strengthen it so it stays in place and doesn't break again. I love this. project so much that we are turning this into a bird cage by joining these two baskets together now you will see here. I made a bunch of little J's at the end of that long piece of wire, we'll attach them with that. In the other basket we haven't cut the circle, we're going to take our wire cutters and pinch those wires into place all around. You don't need hot glue on this part, the wires do a fantastic job holding it in place.
These would be so beautiful as an entry table in the center of a dining room table or even at a wedding. They would be so pretty for spring and any other season you want, you can wear them in the fall and put them up like crows. inside them I've done it before too, so now I'm taking a lid off a glass jar and I'm just using a little bit of E6000 and a little bit of hot glue because I don't trust metal on metal with hot glue. I like the E6000. he blocks it much harder now I'm going to grab a ping pong ball yes, I said a ping pong ball.
I wanted to get this larger round shape and stay in the Dollar Tree budget for everyoneyou. I'm just going to cut out I make a circle at the bottom so it's flat and I don't show it here but I actually ended up adding a wooden bead on top to give it more of a finial look, you could actually add a finial let's say Lobby of hobbies but I didn't do that. I wanted to stay on the Dollar Tree budget now to make them longer. Just add one more cage, it makes it very long. In the end you have the most beautiful bird cage at different heights depending on the height you want.
To make it and put it on top of a charger plate and fill all kinds of goodies inside, it looks so beautiful. This DIY is super simple. You'll grab one of these plastic Easter baskets and some carrots from the Dollar Tree. I'm also going to use some fabric and just a little bit, you see, plus some twine from Dollar Tree, I removed the handle and roughly measured the height of the carrots from the bottom of the basket and now with my scissors. I'm just going to cut off the excess that we don't need. Once you have everything cut out, you will take some burlap fabric and glue it to the bottom of the basket by pulling. wrap it as tight as you can and you can see here that I put the handle back on.
It has these little teeth that allow it to pop back into the basket. Now let's take those. carrots and we're just going to wrap them around the entire basket. My inspiration for this basket actually came from Michaels store, they had this basket in their store and when I saw it I knew right away that I had to snag this one. It was very expensive at your store and we are going to make it so affordable using Dollar Tree carrots, your basket and some rope. Once I have the carrots all over the place, I went ahead and grabbed one of their brown nautical ropes.
I untwisted it because there are three on each string that are twisted together and then I wrapped them around the handle and then I took another one of the strings from the Dollar Tree that is not untwisted and I just wrapped it around the inside gluing it all together to make sure. It had a nice finished look once everything was rolled up and pushed in. I used my scissors and cut off the excess that I didn't need and continued rolling it until it was completely finished and you couldn't see the yellow basket anymore, this was the easiest project and the results turned out so pretty.
What do you think? Leave a comment below to let me know if you like the foreigner. We're going to use some of these glass jars that I bought at Target, but honestly you can get them everywhere and a lot of them at the Dollar Tree and then some rope from the Dollar Tree. I'm going to use two white nautical ropes and then one brown rope, so what I'm doing is I'm noting that these need to be a certain length at the bottom and I'm going to make a big oval shape because we're going to make a jar basket. glass to contain them all.
I'm going to continue Wind 'em up until I get to the end of that rope and then I'm going to add that second rope. I wanted to make sure that it's wide enough and that the junction of those two strings is at the bottom and then I go. To start building the side, now I'm showing all the steps of this because I just want you to see exactly how I built the side where you can make your basket really strong. My biggest recommendation is to make sure that you're massaging those strings every time you put another drop of glue along that line and then once you get them going and you notice that it's getting stronger and stronger, this is best. .
In fact, I'm going to put some handles here. without having to compromise the rope that's being cut, you can see that I pulled it out a little bit more and then continued my journey, so now I've created two handles and then where I stopped, I'm going to bring them back. darker rope and I'm going to go around two more times and it's the coolest basket to be able to hold these mason jars now they sell them for a really high price on places like Pottery Barn guys I made this for three

dollar

s please know that. you can have the most beautiful things in your house for almost no money once the basket was ready.
I added in my jars and the flowers I wanted. Thanks for this DIY, we will be using foam board, foam squares and some flowers. If you like, all my supplies are from the Dollar Tree. Now we are going to start by drawing our monogram in the letter of our last name and then we will cut it out with an exact knife once it is all cut. We'll take the foam squares and start cutting them to fit the shape of the S. They don't have to be perfectly spaced on that center piece of foam, as long as you have something you can place your flowers on. this has a high end look and these monogram wreaths are so expensive we will make them for just a few dollars then I will take my Greenery and follow the shape of the S.
I sure don't compromise that shape to make it look like the letter, so continue filling in all the next flowers that are small and then keep filling them in with all the larger flowers until you've completely covered that foam. pieces so that it looks like the shape of the letter of your liking and your last name. Once you are done, turn it over and add a piece of rope or twine to the back so you can hang it and you're done. We are now ready to display in this DIY. I'm going to take a trash can from the Dollar Tree and we're going to manipulate it into a top hat for spring, so what you want to do is take it from the middle down, Sam. and you're just going to start squeezing it tight, this mesh wire bends very easily without having any problems and you can see I'm pinching the excess inside the hat, once I pinched it I went ahead and flattened it out.
I do it one more time, so I have almost like a zigzag on The Wire where it's pinched underneath and then brought down a little bit again, where the top hat meets the brim, so I'm creating it so that it doesn't be so high. If I didn't do this where I pushed it in one more time, it would almost be too high, so you can see right there is some metal that's pinched in a zigzag back and forth and then at the top I took a round piece of burlap that I cut. that, I glued it and pressed it down and now I'm taking another piece of burlap to go around the side of the top of the hat and I'm just going to cut off the excess and then glue everything in place, the trick.
To make this look tall you want to make sure you have as clean a line as possible and then for the brim of the hat I've decided to grab some of this pretty lace burlap ribbon from the Dollar Tree and first I'm going to zig zag it forward and back because it has a wire on it and that's going to make my job a lot easier and then I'm going to take the ribbon and I'm going to put it on the brim of the hat and I'm going to go under it. and adding the hot glue like this because this allows it to seep in there and set everything and then one more tip.
I went back with my hot glue and went under each of the folds and added a little bit. A little hot glue to make sure the folds don't lift up. Now you can still see the wire around the bottom of the hat. I don't want to see that, so I'm going to grab another piece of burlap ribbon. I'm using this teal color which is really pretty and then I'll come back with this plaid ribbon. All of these ribbons are from Dollar Tree except obviously the tan burlap that I bought from Joann's and I wrapped it around a couple of times and I'm using that plaid ribbon to clean up the top of that teal ribbon because I had to, ya you know, beg it and fold it there so you can hide all the last of that wire, now you can I definitely left the wire exposed, but I didn't like the exposed wire.
I wanted to cover it up. I thought this was so much prettier and for a dollar with all these other little supplies here and there it turned out really pretty, so now I am. Going in on the side and I'm just adding some flowers and then I'm going to take some of my bead garlands that you know I love so much and I just wrapped them around my finger and stuck them on there and then. I'm going to add a really big, beautiful plaid bow to the back and then the last few finishing touches because it's for spring Easter.
I'm going to add a couple of carrots on top and after that it will be ready to be displayed. Somewhere in your home abroad for this next DIY, we'll be using some of these Dollar Tree Friends books. They sell these inspirational books for a lot of money. I hope you didn't buy them when you can make them yourself. Collect all the books you need for your inspirational word and then, with your craft knife, cut along where the book cover and the first cover are, now depending on how rough you want it to be, sand some of the excess and then take some twine to wrap. those books together and tie them tightly with a nice bow or a knot as you prefer once you have finished tying your bow there at this point you can put whatever you want on these books the name of your family a beautiful word to inspire, it completely depends on you or you can even leave them blank and they are very beautiful to be able to place them in your decoration and it is the easiest DIY that costs almost a few cents.
You can also use old books that you were planning to donate. I always recommend using a book that you no longer plan to read because once it gets in here it doesn't get out, so this is where it gets even easier. If you have a qriket or silhouette machine, you can obviously cut out some vinyl letters, but Dollar Tree has some problems with transfers and all you have to do is cut out the letters you want, grab them with a popsicle stick, place them on the book, rub them together and you will have the most beautiful DIY for almost no money, friends, again if I could. convince you never to buy them.
They are very affordable and I know many people buy them for home decoration abroad. I hope you were inspired by these 10 projects today for spring.
