What's happening? The most important thing: you are here. Thank you so much for being here and making this little program part of your day. This is what today's program will be like. I listed that in the second part of the show we're going to be taking your comments and questions live, so if you have a question about a comment, thought about watching anything and would like us to address it, go ahead and use the Super Chat feature and send it that way and as long as it is appropriate to be read in our program, we will address it in the second part of the program, okay guys, with all that, let's start with this, will we be a movie that I had one?

The real change in terms of being excited about this for me was Thunderbolts because when they first announced it, I admit I wasn't really interested, I thought, well, this sounds like kind of a throwaway project, maybe even something that should go straight to Disney and whatever. but then when they showed up they asked who was going to be there, Red Guardian, David Harbour, that's the one I was most excited about, yeah, if Sebastian Stan would be there as Bucky, I mean, very excited because we have the Walmart Captain. America, which I really liked over the course of Falcon the Winter Soldier, plus seeing the ghosts return is cool, having a lane coming back, it's all good and of course Florence and Elena's benches will be there, ha There was a lot of talk and whispering, there were even some rumors that they had canceled Thunderbolts for a while and then changed the production dates and all that kind of stuff, well, they are actually up and running and filming it, and in a bit of a move. common for Marvel.

Florence Pew actually filmed a behind-the-scenes video, yes, on set, um, the rays now didn't reveal anything major, but a couple of interesting things, one of the things was that she put her camera at a wide angle to show one of their new ones. Like combat-ready outfits, which I thought looked really cool, and then they walked in and they met uh, they saw the set and she was like, ooh, wait until you see what this thing is going to be that points to that big wall of scaffolding that have. It got there and now it looks like Noah's Arc, but I'm sure it will look like something a little different when it's all finished.
She then she came up and introduced us to the director, who was actually her, you know what I think? he was legitimately surprised. I don't know if he saw the video, but I saw it. What's that? A couple of times I thought a couple of times, many times I raised everything I've ever seen, so I think the director was legitimately. I was a little surprised when she appeared behind him, but anyway they were working on things and even showed something on one of the monitors from a scene they clearly recently filmed of her like she's walking in the room, she has her gun on her hand. about someone who didn't particularly reveal anything, I have a word I made up that I use a lot called Tangi Biz like it's real now like Thunderbolts, which has been a theoretical thing in the e for a long time. moment, it's actually happening there, they're doing it as we speak, it's coming out now, I don't remember when they said it was a release date for this, oh let me see, it's coming out sometime in 2025, let me?
Or did they bring it to 2026? I know they moved it up. I remember they moved it, but I don't remember where it was originally, like late 2024 and they moved to 2025, May '25, yeah May '25, so we're a year away from this. What's Coming and OB are obviously already filming right now, so I loved what I saw. I understand they didn't reveal anything just a little bit of fun behind the scenes stuff that I can't remember off the top of my head, Chris. Seeing a Marvel star on set during production, no, you'll be cast, yes, before the movies come out.
I mean, we've seen some of them after the movies come out and then they share them, but no, I can't remember this. Anyway, I like what I saw, what did you think? Yes, I love his new suit. I love it so much that it's a very calculated PR move, although we haven't had a great phase in this latest attempt and we have to be excited about this. movies that we have to change, that's a very good observation, yes, that's how it was and I think that's also why this director was so surprised, we don't do this, we're not allowed to do this, I'm not allowed to say it and obviously , they did it. a point to say Hey, listen Florence, people love you, they love your character, we're going to lead with you, let's let everyone have a little taste a little, I'm Mo Bo, so to speak, and that way we'll get really excited about this movie.
I knew it was I'm getting Ray. I was like three two. You know, it's like the really small meal you get before an appetizer at a fancy restaurant. No, I'll use it from now on. Now I'm in it. It's supposed to catch us. I'm excited about that, you know, you raise a great point about how I know we mention this a lot, but the relevant thing is that Marvel is in a position right now that they haven't been in in 15 years, and that is that they are trying to catch up. day. You know they're playing from behind in sports terminology.
You know some teams aren't used to playing from behind, they're used to having an advantage and now they're facing some adversity. Marvel is used to playing with the advantage. playing from behind right now and they know it and that's probably a good point as to why we might see little things like this popping up to reignite some enthusiasm. I think they'll go crazy for the Ryan Reynolds stuff once they get the marketing. The machine is going to get so weird and ridiculous because it can be and just take advantage of that too far back for what their standard is because, as we've talked about this week, they're even still doing better financially than the DC movies we've made.
I saw it last year, true, but they've had that slow decline backwards. They are still doing better than other movies. They're still doing better than other studios, but if you're Disney, you don't want to do poorly. You want to be the best of the best, you still want to absolutely dominate the box office and have those big Blockbuster numbers that match the level and integrity of your studio, yeah, because to your point, we did the math the other day, even if you just look at the Marvel movies that have been released recently, from 2022 until now, they average 63$38 million per movie, which is weak for Marvel, exactly their average box office for their movies from 2022 would be the number one movie of the year at this time.
They're average, but that's still lower than Marvel's standard exactly and they don't want that trend to continue going down, so they seem to be taking some changes anyway guys, the question is for you, what did you think of this? Did you have a chance to watch this video that Florence Pew posted? I thought it was really charming. I hope to see Marvel do a little more of this kind of thing. Whatever you think, head to the comments section below and let us know. Your thoughts are fine guys, let's get on with this, so we have this new alien movie, Alien Romulus, directed by the fabulous Alvarez fueled director.
I admit there isn't much excitement about her, you guys know that from the past year. every time it comes up, I've been like huh, huh, whatever, then Dro that first trailer and that first trailer is just here's the texture of what this movie is going to be like and it felt like the horror of that original alien movie and I'm not going To say that the first trailer we saw last week took me from being completely uninterested to now this is one of my most anticipated movies of the year. It didn't do that, but it certainly increased my interest in her.
Now I'm quite interested in this movie, what's going to catch a lot of people's attention as well is that in this age of CGI that we live in, in the miraculous age of CGI, because the things they can do with CGI today They are incredible, but Fedy Álvarez is really passionate. about practical effects and has talked a lot about wanting to bring back what they had in those original Alien movies, but he's taking it to the next level by saying that he does almost all the creatures in established practical effects and even brings in the original alien creature creators original.
This comes from the folks at Movie Web who wrote the following. Ped Alvarez's passion for practical effects extends beyond creatures. I have this obsession with the absence of green screen, so we build each creature and set the scene. Alvarez said everything had to be built, so we did it. he truly lives and breathes these spaces while recognizing the value of CGI in certain situations. Álvarez emphasizes that for face-to-face encounters and moments with creatures nothing beats the real thing, he continues and is quoted in this saying about the creatures we brought in all The guys from Aliens, one of the best action movies of all time, had just over 20 years ago when they made aliens and were part of Stan Winston's special effects team and now we had them at the top of their game, they have their own stores. and we brought them all together to work on all the creatures because we chose all the animatronics and puppets in all the levels.
I even got the chance to be under the table with them handling all these animatronics. Now look, I've said it before. of the weather today with the kind of environments and wonders and crazy things you want to do CG is the best answer MH, you know? Can you imagine how silly Thanos would have looked on a guy in a big purple suit if they had dressed Josh? That way of walking like that would have been ridiculous, but when you talk about the aliens, the xenomorphs, for the most part they are expressionless, a lot of straight lines in the design, right?
No, they are not your traditional eyes with expressive eyes. and move your eyebrows and all that kind of stuff like the most you really have to do is growl, get that growl and when you look back at the original aliens like when you got Sigourney Weaver and like an alien guy like she cara and she can, she as an actress is in that environment interacting with the

monster

itself, that has definite advantages and although I don't think it's necessarily important that they have some engagement with all the practical settings and creatures in a film. so because one of the other things about aliens and the aliens are claustrophobic, it's true, you always feel the tight spaces, you always feel like you're in a tight box with these killing machines and in something like this I think feeding is right .
There are some really big advantages to them doing it this way and you know it's fashionable now to say you want practical effects so I think this will make a lot of people happy anyway Chris you hear about this what do you think? about their commitment to making practical

monster

sets and what you think about them going back and getting the Aliens guys to make these designs. What do you think? I love it. Although I want to know if they are updating their methods. because in order for the ovomorph to be the correct eggs for the xenomorphs they used C fat, which is that network of fat that protects the internal organs of animals and they covered it with all these eggs and things that had to be a grotesque set, but I think I love the practical effect.
It makes the audience feel more immersed and I think it makes the actors believe the world they're in too accurately. You know, Ian McKellen had this famous breakdown on the set of The Hobbit because everything had turned green screen into tennis balls and an actor. of thatWhat I can say is that I was not there when this person was doing those things. I was there. I don't know if that's true or not. I have no idea. All I can tell you is that my staff. The experience with that person has been good, that's all I can tell you.
All I can tell you is that the experiences I had with that person were good, but I can't talk about all the other things because I wasn't there. I don't know and a lot of people got really mad at me for saying that and it's like, well, what do you want me to do? Do you want me to lie? I'm not happy, how do you tolerate that person being? I'm not saying I'm condoning it, I'm just telling you I wasn't there and I don't know what they did or didn't do. I'm just telling you, I've only had a few experiences with it. person and I'm just letting you know the fact that my experiences turn out to be good, now you take that and do it however you want and then you know it all came to light again about the 70s showing people of all kinds. of things and it's like I don't really care about any of it, it doesn't affect me or any of the movies I'm watching, I'm not there, I don't know what is or isn't real, so I have no problem with someone who comes out and says something terrible or a terrible person.
That person and I went out a couple of times and that person always seemed like a good person to me. I don't care about that now that I haven't seen this Nickelodeon special. however, only because I'm behind on a lot of shows I want to watch and didn't have Nickelodeon in Canada. I don't give a damn about Nickelodeon, I don't care, I hear it's a pretty heavy documentary about some really important things which is great but there are a lot of murder shows on Netflix about people who were murdered and murdered and I don't watch them either because I don't care those things, as far as you know, from now on.
Anyone who mentions the James Mars thing we're just going to skip because I can't keep saying the same thing over and over again. It is a truly heartbreaking documentary. I will say that I have heard it and I have heard it. very good I was a Nickelodeon kid I dreamed of being everything I wanted it so much, I will say this for everyone who asks about this, a lot of the things that are being faced with James Marsen right now are a supposed little clip of what what your letter said, is not the actual letter that is being sent.
What people say is in that letter, now you have the right to feel what you want about it. Obviously what happened to Drake B is horrendous and to all the other kids that are on these shows it shouldn't happen to people. It shouldn't happen to children, but we also don't have all the data on the people who wrote in the letters. I'm not justifying anyone here, but we have to remember that we don't know what was said in them and There are quotes that keep being promoted that might not be factual and the quotes are being taken out of context exactly without trying to shape them.
See if you come, if someone comes to me and says John, what you don't understand is James. Yeah, this guy did all these horrible things and I think it's okay that he did all those horrible things. That's a different situation I'll have. I would have a different opinion, but that's not what I'm told over and over again. You are asking me to comment. Look, there are literally 500 things that have appeared on streaming in the last two months that I haven't seen. This is one of them, so I can't really say anything else. Beyond that, I hope. that people also because this comes up a lot with all kinds of news, you want us all to be honest about what we have consumed and when we have not consumed something sometimes there is this anger of not having seen that and you know that We are four people in a room that They try to watch as many TV movies and everything as possible, but also when horrible things happen in real life, we don't want to add to the cacophony of uninformed opinions, yeah, because that's what I'm really happy about.
You said that because there are so many half-baked ideas out there of people making big statements based on 5% of the information and I'm not going to be one of those, I'm going to do it. Sorry, sorry anyway. Okay, what's next? I want to react. to a clickbait headline and not actual facts um from Stephen Baker got my tickets to Kong Funny thing, they are also in England. Even though it's been going on for years and years and years, what's up? When is the announced release date for Godzilla XCOM tomorrow? There are still many viewers who do it, because it is understandable, they mark when a movie comes out and it is always Friday.
Many movie fans know that means it's actually out the day before, but I'm always surprised by how many people I still encounter in real life and online who don't realize that means it's actually out. the day before so yeah, that makes sense to a lot of people, okay, what's next for Lis Enrique? DEA this is an unrelated movie question. What do you think of the new NFL rules that will be implemented next season? Hip ban. drop tackle and the new punt return rules is fine, I don't know about the hip drop tackle. I don't know about that hip drop tackle. the new kickoff rules are awesome.
What is it? So the new kickoff rule because here's the thing. I've been saying for years to just get rid of the kickoff because nothing happens eight times out of 10, they just kick it into the end zone and there's no return anyway, so why waste time going through the motion? ball at the 30 and let them start, they have changed the rule now where the kicker kicks from where they have always kicked well but their team normally lines up on the same yard line where the ball is placed where the kicker stays away from the team key now lines up about 15 yards down the field and the opposing team lines up there, the kicker kicks it and no one else can move until the receiver catches the ball and then the play can begin and now there is an incentive for the The objective of the new rule is to have returns again.
There could still be touchbacks, but I think you'll see that I think the grading was like only 20% of kickoffs had returns. now they say they think it will increase 70. 80% of kickoffs will now have returns. I think the rule is great, maybe it doesn't work, but I think it's cool to try and I think it's going to be great for the game, you know, the Raiders are going to draft the fastest guy on the planet, like always. Absolutely fine, what follows from an In Hope counter two is a theatrical release. Do we know it again? I don't think they did.
I've figured it out yet, by the way, that's not a fact, maybe they've figured it out, maybe they already know where it's going, to the best of my knowledge, they haven't decided yet, so I could be wrong in my assumption and it's just a I guess they're going to wait to see how the movie turns out and then decide if it'll be streaming or in theaters, so hopefully it'll be theatrical, what's next for The Vegetable Addict? It is not like this. Surprise that Godzilla is meant to do more. I booked seven tickets at my local diner and I come, I come home, to watch invisible, you know what I don't know why, I know why because we are lazy and we don't want to drive anymore. but I don't know why we don't go to more diners oh, that sounds amazing.
I love dining rooms. I think they are great. I remember yuck, I choose din theater, but I honestly like the iic theater in Pasadena. um AMC has a couple in the Southern California area where you just walk in Fully reclined table just press the button they come take your order they have so much more on the menu I love the dining room theater experience I wish I had someone closer to us nothing He'll beat the guy who taught me, he'll always beat what I've ever done, he brought a full platter of nachos and he had three dips lined up on his recliner and he was just dipping.
I was like, where the hell did you do it? Do it right, a full meal, honey, what's next? It's not this open mic, uh, from Louisa again. I can't help but think of the effects of Stormtroopers Blaster when I hear Florence's last name, by the way, what a beautiful last name, though so beautiful. Well, almost as good, that's actually accurate when you think about Star Wars, the amount of all-time iconic sounds of the lightsaber, the Tie Fighter like this, it's one of the best things of all time, the laser shots , I know it sounded more like a crippled cat, um like.
There are so many like the Falcon entering hyperspace, so Ben Bert, the sound designer of the original Star Wars films and was the editor of the prequel films, made all those iconic sounds. There's a great documentary about how Ben Bert just did it. all the sounds of Star Wars is crazy, it's great, I love it, okay, what's next from seconds of the disaster. Invincible season 2 is finally getting better. One thing I love is that we're two seasons in and Mark is still getting his ass kicked almost to death. Yeah, I haven't started watching the second half of the second season yet.
I'm catching up, but okay, are you up to the first half of season two too? No, okay, yeah, so I'm done with the first half. The second season didn't love it, so it's been a while for me to get on with the second half of the second season, but in its defense I've heard several people say that the second half is better than the first half is okay, so which I hope I can do soon, yeah, I hope that's okay, what's next from Louis again with a $100 Super Chat, no, that's about $10, okay, thanks, um, I, Ron Burgundy, these You guys, I just read.
What's there? I saw AI-generated footage of Henry Caval as Magneto from X-Men 97 and now I can't stop watching it. Henry is rumored to be playing a variant of Wolverine in Deadpool 3. Rumored yes, I love rumors. I doubt it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it, it would be fun, but I highly doubt it, but hey, put Henry in anything and I'll be happy, Henry and anything, I'll be happy, okay, what's next? let's see I have to go here and I have to refresh for a moment because I forgot how our members are okay we already moved on to our channel members okay okay from Zelda Master.
I have to admit it even with the end of the second. episode I didn't expect them to do that story in first two episodes, but even after the first two episodes I don't know if I'm willing to call it date TV like only a couple of shows in the last three or four years would call date TV. House of the Dragon Last of Us and now Shogun um, although there are a lot of other shows that I really enjoyed a lot, I don't know if I'm ready to call X-Men 97 date TV, it was after the second episode for me. but in this third episode I think there's a part of me that says maybe I should wait for a couple more episodes to come out and then watch him binge watch it after it's over, yeah I don't know of course the risk you take is that you're going to hear everyone talking about you're going to know everything that happens, yeah, okay, what's next from CLS rocks watching Zill X Kong tonight.
I don't care about Rotten Tomato scores or reviews, it's Zilla. It's a must see for me. Do you have a franchise where, no matter the ratings or reviews, you'll go to the movies and watch it anyway? Rocky, any Rocky that comes out, I'll do it, I'll do it. I don't care if he's homeless and in a dumpster and they make him come out, he's just Oscar the Grouch now. Now it's Oscar the Grouch looking for a pie-eating contest. Yes, Star Wars, yes, that's all about the Rings. and anything Muppets, I'll watch any media that appears on any Sony Marvel for me, yeah, I don't even watch Star Wars anymore like there's anything Star Wars like Star Wars, what do they call it animated shorts?
Star Wars Visions Visions I love that I haven't seen the second season, it's so good. Definitely not. I'm not watching any of the seasons of uh uh BoJack Horseman Bo, what's the name of the bad lot? Bo Jack Jack the bad lot is good you have to follow it it takes a minute but it's good I'm watching it so I don't even watch the movies. I will always go to the cinema to see a new Star Wars movie, but you. I know we'll be fine anyway, what's next for that Funko Dad? I just saw the accountant for the first time a couple of weeks ago.
It's good that you talked about it on the show, you actually convinced me to watch this really amazing movie and I'm 1.00% on board for the sequel, I hope it hits theaters. I must tell you what was very. I'm a Ben Affleck fan. I really like Ben Affleck and I wasn't excited about the bill. I thought the trailers were something like that. Great, but I wasn't expecting much and I had a great time. I'm glad you enjoyed it, man, and I hope the second one is good. What's next for Red One? Real talk. Shogun has given me many things, except the Tang war song. maybe Torag's war song can be the best gift of all could be a great way to start the show from now onhi hi hi oh it's so good it gets your blood pumping every time Taga does that thunder, thunder, it makes me look around, grab a butter knife just to pretend it's a sword in my wow my waist is so good, very good, okay, what's next?
I'm glad you clarified that part of the cultural healers there is a made-for-TV movie that you wish had gotten the theatrical treatment instead. for TV movies, oh my gosh, remember that David Morse um, okay, not a TV movie, but uh, Obi-Wan, you know, ever since that guy and I always feel bad about forgetting the name of the guy that He did it because he did it. It was such a good job that some guy online took Obi-Wan and re-edited it, moved some pieces around, did some things to it, made it into a 2 hour 45 minute movie, cut a bunch of stuff again, rearranged some stuff , all of which I dismissed and it didn't make a great Star Wars movie, but it did make a movie infinitely better than the series, so maybe I'd say okay, what's next for CJ's revival?
I recently bought the latest M Marvel comic that good Canadian girl Valani helped write and I thought it was pretty good but now I want to see Malon interact with Ryan Reynold's Deadpool, she's so innocent, protect her, no she's fine , I mean, look, look how he was with Nega Sonic, yeah, that's true, fair, um, so be cute. of not being B, just two different worlds, he just doesn't want her to hear any language, oh my god, I hear like always. People think I'm too negative, but you know Marvel has done great things recently, but overall they're in a pretty difficult phase right now, I think it's just my opinion, but among some of the things they've done really well recently There is M Marvel, who is one of the best characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I think at this moment she is infinitely infinite. adorable, uh, completely endearing. She just brings Joy to the TV screen every time she's on, I feel Joy and when she interacts with her brother or she interacts with her family or all that kind of stuff, I feel Joy, they did such a job with her. Well. Now I do not know. I haven't read her comic that she wrote again, good Canadian girl, so I should. I'll be rooting for that but just know it's one of the few things they've really squashed since this character is so good, what's next?
Dominic Suma? If you had the choice, would you rather watch 23 Jump Street or a Tropic Thunder 2 assuming the original cast returned for both, give me Jump Street. I agree, I agree, because how do you like the premise of Tropic Thunder? The same actors are together in a jungle setting again, exactly, yeah, I'm not the one saying that, I guess. 21 and 22 Jump Street are infinitely better than Tropic Thunder, no I'm not saying that at all, it's just that I think there's a lot more to do with 23 Jump Street than just do a rerun of Tropic Thunder, so yeah , I agree with you 100%, you give me a streak of 23 jumps, although from what I got I don't know Jonah Hill, okay let's be very clear, I don't know Jonah Hill at all, I know he's the best guy of the world.
I didn't hear great things about what he's like personally or who to work with again. I can't confirm that's true. I just know that a lot of you have probably read the same things, so I don't know maybe if people want to do a 23. Jump Street or not, but listen, I don't care what you hear. Put Jonah Hill and Channing back together and throw an ice cube at them. I'll be there, I'll be there with the bells on if you do it right, what's up? next from Harrison Hi John I really hope there is a release date soon because beyond the spiderverse I can't think of many other situations where a movie has been in active production and there isn't even a hint of a release date or window , thank you. it happens all the time all the time so but yeah, I'm with you by the way I saw the short film they released the short film The Spider the short film is not great, oh I liked it, I thought it was what it was, that there was no story like it understand it's short but there's no story it was like Miles is here and he's feeling anxious okay but there was no story so it's on YouTube you can get it on YouTube the way who was in the chat live someone was Joseph SF going back to the last question about what would you rather see 23 Jump Street or Tropic Thunder yes, no more than any of the ones that came out of Les Grossman's movie 1,000% where is it? the Les Grossman movie, they made fun of it, they made fun of it several times for those of you who don't know what we're talking about, that's Tom Cruz's character in Tropic Thunder, he's a little busy right now, although at 100% there should be less.
Independent film by Grossman and I will watch that film a lot. I so want them to do that. I hate when they mention Tom Cruz, why? Because I always think of that pie, the best pie, by the way, by the way, so Tom. Cruz sent him one of his traditional Christmas cakes and we got it two years ago. I had a little conversation last week. They work with him again. I think we'll have a Tom. I think we'll have a Tom Cru. deliveries this holiday season because that man, that cake was amazing, it's the best, it's easy, all you have to do is work with Tom Cruz.
I mean, what's the big deal about how he still keeps sending those pies every year? for the people he worked with 30 years ago there's an article I read recently about him in variety oh yeah like there's great art like he's known all over town you want to be on the Christmas cake delivery list of Tom Cruz, yeah, he's so good I made the list, oh yeah, okay, what's next? J CSC takes another look at Winter Welding Day and it made me wonder if you have a Steve style notebook for all the recommendations they send you, ready to review in your retirement.
I have it anyway. yo, there's a lot of stuff, man, accumulations of games, accumulations of uh, programs, accumulations of you, you have accumulations of things that, mainly for me, are accumulations of places, oh, you want to go, I don't travel, yeah, you don't not at all, I just had Your uncle, the governor, is visiting from the Philippines and we had lunch with them the other day and of course I took the opportunity to increase the pressure that I need to visit the Philippines and I really listen. I'm italian. I am proudly Italian-Canadian. I've never been to Italy.
It is so beautiful several times. It's a difficult flight. Yes, that's the point. Although that's what it's called. I don't like flying and the idea of a 12 hour flight, but this guy is it. I'm not going to go to you I just have to rack up the miles honestly, it's really worth saving and saving and saving and saving so it's not the money, it's the flight. Well, what I'm saying is that most of us travel, how we travel, is not age. the mileage because it's family so money is family and you guys have family there they're my family too so I should visit them at least once or twice it's just that I hear myself flying back to Toronto it's hard for me, I don't like. to fly it sticks a lot to the armrests no, no, I just try to pretend that I'm sleeping and it seems like you have to do it for about 14 hours, I know, no, that's how it is, it's a night to To be honest, it's also a Nightmare for me just flying over a large amount of water.
It's just that it's a nightmare if I let it. I have no fear of flying. I mean, my dad was a pilot anyway, so he's built. For me I love it, plus you don't drink and I feel like the greatest luxury is having a cocktail in heaven, oh my god yes, am I the president? What's going on? Am I the president? Okay, let's take two more. I'll Surely Call It Done by Patrick Reese Hi John, Listen to an interesting podcast about rewriting the history of biopics. However, I believe that telling true information is not the role of a film and that is up to the viewer to know, but in this age of misinformation that can be complicated.
What are his thoughts on this? My thoughts on this have always been very, very clear. A film is not an educational documentary. Documentaries must be completely objective. MH. Educational material must be absolutely partisan. The news must be absolutely objective. The job of a film is not to be as faithful as possible to the source material it is to be a piece of entertainment and make the best film possible We, as individuals, must be smart enough to know that we are not necessarily learning history when we watch a film , some things in may be real, but I also know that some things may not be reality, although I want to say that we live in an age of misinformation.
I mean, listen. I do something, we literally have a guy running for president who keeps trying to tell people. He did not lose the last elections. I mean, I have Republican friends who are infuriated by this and still literally almost half of this country supports someone who went to trial over 50 times and under Republican rule, you know, Republican judges. appointed judges Republican government officials Republican thing that every time the validity of this stupid claim that I didn't lose that election has been proven closed and then you have a guy like the former mayor of New York who was a very good mayor of New York, by the way, Rudy Giuliani keeps saying publicly that I have proof that these women stole the election, but the moment they have to go to court and say things under oath, go to jail if you lie, no, I win.
I won't say anything in court. I'm just going to say things in front of the TV camera that we literally live in a time right now and by the way, they're not the only ones doing this. I must not not be completely. They're not the only ones doing that, but we live in a time where misinformation is a tool that a lot of people use and the reason they use it is because the people who want to believe it don't care if it's true, they just don't. I can, I still can't understand it, it's like I get it, if you want to be politically right, I have several IAL beliefs that are a little bit biased, a little bit correct, but no It doesn't matter if you want to be political, you literally have a guy running for president. of the United States who keeps telling people who won the last election in the mind of any intelligent person that they should disqualify that person from running for president, get someone else because there are many other right-wing political figures who would be a much better candidate. better.
I'm just saying we live in an age of misinformation because people want to believe misinformation. I think this question really relates to the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, I think. like me, I've heard all the stories and stuff like that, that's a very good point, if you stick with the music, I love Michael Jackson's music, I'll have a good time, uh, watching this movie, I don't care about everything. otherwise just the music itself, if you delve into other things we don't know then it will be a bit more serious. Look at it, I don't know, it's just that it all depends, as long as everything is, as long as there is a theme.
I think it sticks to a theme that he wants to pursue with Anon fuka fuka, yeah, so I could understand whatever point he wants to make with this movie if there's a point, I don't know if there's a point, I don't know. I don't know if it's a celebration of Michael Jackson I don't know if it's a dissection of Michael Jackson I don't know what his plan is I'm very interested to see how he does it because he's such a popular iconic person, there are so many ways to analyze this or make this movie up to the point. point out that the person you are mentioning.
Luckily it wasn't someone I knew, but I was sitting near a conversation where someone actually said, wasn't it Hitler? they die in the fire of a movie theater oh because they saw in glorious bastards and in glorious bastards Hitler they kill Hitler by locking him in the movie theater, I mean that brings some validity to the question that is correctly asked, but yes, we should know better, everyone saw great showman and he was like a man, PT Barnum sure was sweet, yeah, PT barnham was sweet, that was that universe, he was a big super D guy, super duper, okay guys, and that will be enough for today's delivery from John.
