Of course, it's a business and unfortunately a lot of it is outdated or based on sort of passing experience, so I want to make sure that we're avoiding any and all mistakes and that we're doing it the right way. So without further ado, let's dive into the number one key to creating a program that people want to pay for. The information economy is bigger than ever. The Creator economy is also bigger than ever, but if you look at recent statistics, there are 3.7 million videos. uploaded to YouTube every day is a huge amount of content and it's extremely difficult, as I'm sure you know, to find a way to stand out in that information and in the

economy, and if you rely solely on views and subscribers . and vanity metrics to generate income is a long and difficult road and right now you can learn practically anything for free on the internet, so what makes people actually want to pay and invest in the experience and genius that you have If you just Unfortunately, I just put out free content on the internet, what it does is it creates this cycle of learning and forgetting because there's so much information out there that people don't feel the need to really invest in in terms of their time, their energy or even their money.

In what you're saying, sharing free content is an incredible part of an overall business strategy and an overall marketing strategy, but you have to understand what will get people to actually invest in payments. This is part of the reason we've seen such a massive shift in the online education industry away from smaller information-based courses because those programs are primarily information-based, so they give you tactical tips, tricks, but things that you can usually find for free on the Internet, so it's very difficult to sell them and it's really difficult to build an entire business around them because the prices tend to be very low, which is why we've seen this shift towards what I like to call transformational programs.
The key to getting people to invest in your program, your online course, is that they are investing in the efficiency of the result they are looking for, that is why people want the transformation, people pay for the transformation, but the most important thing is that they pay for the efficiency of achieving that transformation, they want the accelerated plan to get there, they don't want to have to consume a There is a lot of content on the Internet to achieve that result, so the method that I teach my clients and that I base it on My whole business is zero to hero strategy and essentially what that means is you have to take people from zero to hero. so what is state zero, where are you most challenged, frustrated by pain, need support, need help and what is the hero state that you are looking for and your online program needs to close that gap, so I have created a full video that breaks this down in extremely detail?

I can't say this enough, you need to validate it before you make the biggest mistake people make. The online course business and industry just creates a program, spends all this Blood Sweat and Tears time preparing it, and then no one buys it because they haven't really validated the idea and they haven't validated that there is a market for it and that there is customers. To do this, you absolutely need to make sure you validate before creating.
Now, what is the process to do it? So I created a unique three step strategy to really validate what it is that you ultimately want to sell, so when you go to sell it before you even create it, there is demand and there are buyers for it, and this creates cash flow in your business, it creates trust in your offer, so you feel good about selling it and it generates results for clients before you even have the final version. the program is ready so you have proof that it works, you have profits in the door or and it is set up with the best foundation to grow, so the three steps to validate start one with your story, so what I mean by that is back.
To what I said before in key number one, you really have to identify what was my own journey or what was my experience where I was able to help other people achieve transformation, so you have to think about what was State Zero and what was State Zero? was. hero status for you or what is zero status or hero status for the people you have served before or helped before creating that outcome, so the easiest way to think about this is to fill in the blanks in target of I help in target, go from one target to another. so they can leave it blank, that helps you identify who you serve and how you serve them and exactly what outcome you're going to get with your online program from there, you want to do your research.
I always emphasize that you want to do your research before you do anything else because if you don't do your due diligence and you don't do your research, you can end up with a business that is in a very saturated space and doesn't have a unique identifying factor for you. Story is the key to differentiating yourself and it's the key to standing out in a crowded market, so you want to take a good look at what's currently on the market in terms of programs, coaches, consultants, influential media blogs, etc., all of them. things that are on the market. market in your space, it's good that you have Intel in terms of what people are currently investing in and what is resonating the most and what is creating the best results for the people that I want to serve because success leaves clues, so you You want to do your research to find out what's currently available, how your story helps you differentiate yourself and what your unique type of selling proposition is in that sense and to really get a feel for the lay of the land so you know how you fit in and stand out in the market. and the third part of this is really where the magic lies.
I'm a former journalist, so like I said, I'm very big on research and part of that research process is interviewing people who are your ideal clients because you need to better understand your ideal clients. than anyone to be able to serve them at the highest level create results and when you have results in your business this is what creates sustainable success anyone can have overnight success in business bread but it will create sustainable success it is consistent results for your customers then you need to know what they are really looking for how they think how they speak how they act so that you can serve them again at the highest level so I recommend talking to real human beings without any intention of selling just to build a relationship.
I'm a big believer that relationships drive revenue and the more you listen and really understand the customer you're serving, the more customers you have from there, you have those three validating factors and then you understand, okay, this is state zero. . This is the Hero State and the curriculum that you create in your program will close the gap and that curriculum can be made up of training videos, PDFs, guides, tutorials, but the important thing to understand is that those aspects of your plan of studies are creating an overall transformation which is why it's not just about information and including it in a course, but being intentional in how you create the curriculum to create a transformation and then you can solidify that unique selling proposition or what I like to call your transformation statement and it would be just like I said before, I help blanks go from blanks to blanks so they can be blank, for example, I help cyclists who are struggling with a plateau in their performance to go from being stagnant and feeling like they are falling behind in their training to being able to surpass them. their kpis and their best performance, it is a very clear example, it is actually a real example of one of the people in our program.

When can they invest with you to achieve that efficient path to achieve that transformation that is worth gold for people? So when you think about pricing a program, you do this validation. from the beginning and doing this research from the beginning will allow you to set a suitable and appropriate price at a pace that will really help you create a profitable and truly scalable business because your price will be enough for you to grow and not be like you are struggling to get ahead and generate cash flow.
A quick little example of this that really makes it clear to me that I have a client who teaches feng shui for financial flow and when she looked at the research and looked at the people she had served in the past, she had helped them achieve promoting emotions and increases. massive in their work and it doesn't always have to be a question of money, but if you look at those costs and specific numbers, it allows you to validate the price. a couple thousand dollars, which is where she landed with the price of it. I also have clients that have nothing to do with finances, like I was saying, in terms of cycling, there's a client of mine that helps people improve their skills as cyclists and again that program.
It costs over a thousand dollars because he knows the value of the outcome for his specific ideal clients, so the more specific he is about who he serves and how he serves them, the more he can validate a price that is worthy of that. result and in terms of how you actually generate cash flow, okay, so you know who you are serving, how you are serving them and now you know a validated price based on value, so in terms of generating cash flow, People think, oh, I need to create a website and a funnel and all this stuff.
You should never build those assets without having proof that your program is actually going to sell because then you can reinvest in those pieces, but to get it up and running you don't need fancy technology. websites or funnel. I call it a frictionless sales funnel, which simply means building those relationships, researching and talking to people who are your ideal customers and just getting back on the phone and a lot of times they will. Telling you that you know what you're building and what you're researching is very interesting to me. If you ever do something with this, I would love to be a part of it, and in fact, I would love to be a part of it. in the program, if that's something that you're creating, this happens all the time with our clients, so you have an automated list of buyers just by listening and building relationships with people, so you don't necessarily have to have this funnel in place and have all these thingsSophisticated solutions that exist in your business are all about human connection, so the frictionless sales funnel connects one-on-one with a human being who is your ideal customer and has a conversation to identify if they are the perfect person and if they are and need the solution you provide them, then they become customers, that's as simple as it sounds, it's really an act of generosity, listening to people, doing the research the right way, creating a list of people who you know need what you you have to do. offer, then you can go back to them and say, Hey, I have something that I know will really help you and they will be so excited that they finally found the right solution for them and that creates your first buyers. and what it also does is it equips you as an entrepreneur so you know how to find potential clients without having to do anything extraordinary.
You simply know how to generate as many leads as you want by knowing how to find the right people and generate those conversations to convert them into customers. Then, once you get those people in the door, you'll deliver your show live. We call it a profitable offer prototype. The third key is to scale your show to the moon and how to do it. What you need to do is have a pre-recorded, packaged version of your show. This is the Evergreen version of their program. We call it Sop, which is a scalable offering prototype, so you first deliver a live version, validate it, and test it. you iterate it based on feedback and then package it into a program that people can study on demand, so the factors of an evergreen program are that you have a curriculum that is delivered on demand so that your clients can study it on any time and they don't.
I have to rely on you and the support through a community of your members and one or two calls a week that are done in a group setting, but where people can talk to you individually, accelerates results, creates accountability and gives you It allows you not to exchange time for money and have full control of your schedule and at the same time be able to have a much greater impact on more people because you are not limited by the number of hours in the day and you guessed it. One of the best ways to do this is YouTube. It is our largest source of traffic and it is free targeted traffic. So the beauty of YouTube, first and foremost, is that it's a search engine so people go to YouTube to look for help, they're looking for answers to their questions, solutions to their problems, so what you need to do is understand what are those questions or those problems that they have and create a list of videos on those topics and Then you will appear in front of the people who need you most, which generates leads for you all day, every day, through your videos and that's why I call it Evergreen Sales Machine because it ultimately generates leads and a new audience for you and people.
It is presented to you every day without you having to put in any effort at all, you create the video, you upload it to YouTube and New Leads discovers it every day completely free of charge and the most important key to this is that it is very different to be an Entrepreneur in YouTube versus being a Creator that relies on custom metrics, Views and subscribers. Being a YouTube entrepreneur is about precision, not necessarily audience size. What I mean by this is that you want to make it really easy for your ideal customers to find. So you want to make sure that you have the right keywords that they will search for and use in their search bar because that will help you be the perfect match for what you want. that they are looking for.
Don't be creative, don't be cute. with your titles be precise and get into the head of your ideal client to know what the problem they would have or the question they would have and how they would search for it to find me and we have clients who are taking advantage of our YouTube. strategy that generates several hundred thousand dollars a month with their YouTube channels and their YouTube channels are not big, they don't even necessarily have more than 50 or 100,000 subscribers, they work very well because it is a very specific category and topics and videos specific to the right people who are your ideal clients who when they find the video they say, "Oh my God, this is what I've been looking for." You won't have to add more things. for your business you only have this program that is value based and priced right so you can build a truly scalable business that can scale to the moon and that is your only focus, imagine if you only had one focus on your business. it's really magical because there's no excuse other than being the best of the best because all your time and energy and effort just goes into could I make this even better and could I optimize it even more and then the final part of this is after all ? those foundation layers are established, then you become the Trusted Authority, you have proof that you have results for the client, you have so much Authority because of the results you created for other people and because of how you present yourself online as an expert with your content. that you become the absolute choice and when people are searching on YouTube, suddenly they see your videos, your ideal clients see your videos wherever they go, making you the trusted authority that they want to work with and offer you. everything in-house and putting it all together, we really base our entire business model on what we call this flywheel and we call it the engine that actually runs our rocket, which is our business, so it starts with having a transformation program that enrolls the right clients into the program which ensures that those clients get the transformation based on the curriculum you have created and then those people become your best satisfied clients and program ambassadors and refer even more people to your program, so Suddenly, his steering wheel starts. run on autopilot because word of mouth is the most powerful marketing tool you can have, you don't have to promote much when your business and your course have results like I said.
