This thing is ready to get you one if you don't already have one. Well, it doesn't come with a battery for its server, so we went ahead and grabbed one. We got these at West Virginia Hobbys and Crafts and make sure if you're in West Virginia you go check them out and go check them out. This is a pretty good price because it's a really good price for a drum set, so go say hello to Chuck and James and get yourself a drum set and maybe some other hobby. Okay, let's start putting it together. Let's put the fin on it. the stickers and then I will remove the protective layer from the body so you can really see how beautiful it looks, it is not as boring as it looks now, then we will start burning the engine, I am excited. that part because then we run oh yeah, that looks good, that looks good, yeah, look at that nice color right there, I like it, I like it better than the one on my Row truck because it's just gray and black, yeah, says Rovant.

I like it, I think it looks sportier, yes I have to get some bubbles out of it, but other than that it looks amazing. Who taught you how to put stickers? Boy, you did it, dad, you did it. I learned from you dad. Learned from you. It's Pappy. That's right, I'm daddy, give me a credit card, you have a credit card, I need your credit card, Jenny, yeah, here we go, that was good, that looks great, yeah, I'll be honest, I didn't know what color It was, it was a surprise because when I ordered it and it said it could be any color, which is the risk you take, but I bought another body that we will show you in another video, but I'm probably not going to use it because I like this one better. looks pretty good, looks great, I was pleasantly surprised, check out those tires on the front they will also help you a lot with grip when you're on our track, if you haven't seen our track video go ahead and click here in the top corner we run a little bit and my Baja doesn't have those kind of front tires yeah three times more when it goes into the corners so I think it will take the corners a lot better than my rovin does yeah like that I mean, you know, it's for the most part exactly the same rovin, it falls off ib, it's like the tires are different, I don't know if that's uh and my pipe is different too. the dominator style I have the big curve one, I like that one better, I guess I wonder if I want some, hey I wonder if it will sound different, we'll find out, yeah we'll have to do a comparison, okay we got it. all installed which is pretty easy there's just a couple of parts you have to do now I took off a plastic film yeah that's exactly what I'm going to say yeah so I'm going to take out the clips and take it out the cotter pins and we're going to remove the film because I want to see how nice this thing looks.

I love that body. I also of course like the original orange color on my hpr. They make a body that's almost like to the roamer it's orange, okay you can buy it. We will put a link in the description where you can find all the bodies for this. They make all kinds of bodies for these and they make the orange one like the original hpi okay let's take this out so you can see it has this plastic film on it this is just a protective cover during shipping and I'll take it off oh man look what It's pretty, it's so bright. there yes you can see how boring it is oh yes, very different and very satisfying to take away that satisfying plastic, it's so satisfying it's almost like popping bubble wrap oh yes, mate, look how pretty it is, wow, you know that's it made it stand out even more.

I know I love it, so now that we have the body off, while we have it, we're going to start

break

ing it down, so while we have the body off, let's go ahead and charge the battery. put the battery in and then we'll fill it with gas and start the

break

-in process so here's your chuck whatever you want to call it remove the center nut on the wheels to get them off you also have a multi wrench a spark plug wrench with a screwdriver, an assorted bag of Allen wrenches and accessories, so that's it, that means it's time to break down the engine.
Yes, the battery is already charged. Let's break the engine load. Here we are. wow let me unplug the charger and we'll install it yes sir okay we're also going to put some dual batteries in this it takes four dual batteries it's a 2.4 gigahertz remote control it has all your settings and the throttle adjusts everything . uh it's like a normal remote control, I mean standard, it's pretty good, we already had some so we know they work well. Yes, now we have installed the engines of the truck in the other row and the kraken, and if you missed the video of the crack. and the break-in or the break-in goes down, go ahead and click here in the corner and go check them out.
We're also going to get into this murder as it says and then manual, we've done this before so we're pretty familiar with this so let's get right to it so before we get to the engine we have to put the battery in so we have I have to separate a couple of pieces to get the battery, so let's do it now and now I just have to pop it, everything is fine, my connector is already there for the battery, I just have to change the connectors. Perfect, we already charged this, so we just plug it in and make sure the colors match well, since we have the battery, we need to check the radio and make sure it's already strapped in, like it should be, but I turned the radio on, oh, It's already strapped in, ready to go, so now we can move on, oh yeah, yeah, okay, now perfect, let's also check the brakes, we check the accelerator, it works, so I'll check the brake and make sure to push the brake back. go ahead it's not going anywhere it's got good brakes which is great because you know we like to hit things so we need brakes now that we have the battery and everything checked let's put the oil on the foam just a light coat of this foam filter oil and that should do it, it will catch all the debris and dirt that tries to pass through the filter.
We got it at a local auto parts store, I don't know. which ones do you have in your area, so you can go check it out, okay, we removed the filter, let's go ahead and just do the outer filter, not the air filter, we don't want too much oil in the middle, uh. We learned from our mistakes last time, I think we put too much in and drowned it out for a while, but we're going to go ahead and put this in a bag and then spray some on here. not a lot I just like it just a little bit and now we're going to work it all the way through the filter so we're going to put it back in here we're going to put the filter in and then we have to do one more thing we have to tighten the bolts just to make sure the exhaust that they're not loose because we've seen that happen and the oil drips and gets hot and stinks and stuff, so we want to make sure.
So that doesn't happen, you lose power, yes, you lose power, so let's double check that we fill up the fuel and then get it running, okay, let's go ahead and tighten the muffler, we get the air filter back. Everything looks good, it's all lubricated, so we'll take the Allen wrench that was provided and tighten it up a little bit. It's not very loose, it's actually quite tight, but you know I want to make sure there are no leaks or leaks. I'll want to check it after I run it a couple of times just to make sure because they might regress a little bit so just a word of advice because that's happened too and I've also heard from several different people and YouTube channels. just forums where you want to go through all the metal to metal screws on your Baja and throw some loctite on them because sometimes they can come loose and come back out so you want to make sure they are tight so throw some loctite . on them we'll do it off camera because it might take an hour or two to do it so we won't do it here but it's just a tip I'd do it right we check the exhaust bolts they're all tight they're ready to go now it's time to fill it up and break it in, come on let's do it right so we already had some of this premix for our other cars so this is just 93 octane with some lucas. 2 cycle synthetic oil, so let's go ahead and fill it up right now, let's prime it using the little ball here, the bulb, whatever you want to call it.
Okay, let's do it so you can see some of the gasoline that's already in there. there we're going to keep pumping it oh, you can start to see it go through here through the tubes and the bubbles, okay, it still has bubbles, we'll keep going until there are no more bubbles or well, now we have it full. with the gas we have it set up so there's a little choke switch on the other side, flip it down we'll give it a couple of pulls to get the fuel into the engine and then we'll pull the choke out again and give it a little more, okay, we have our remote on and our car on that way, it doesn't just come off, we can stop it, so we'll hold the brake if we have to, but let's get it going right. we turn off the choke now we're going to go ahead and see if they crank through the fingers man that's actually faster than yours so we don't touch the factory tent setting we'll leave it because that uses the break-in process it use it for the braking process, if we need to adjust it later we will, but for now we're not going to touch it, bring on the thunder, bring on the thunder, here we go, wow, okay, that thing sounds amazing.
I don't know if you can hear it through the video or not, this thing may have picked it up too much, but shit, that thing is loud, it sounds bad, so now that we get started, let's take it outside. and let it burn through a tank of gas, but we're going to break it in this episode and then we're going to go start the next one, okay, we've got it out, we're going to go ahead and let it run. so I'm going to start and let her sit let her sit we're just going to wait and eat a little bit break it up so we'll come back to you when it's done right. let it go through a cool down period right now you have to let the ring sit you heat it up you cool it down I have a temperature gun I know it's 10 degrees off but let's go ahead and measure the engine temperature come back here on the part rear before it cools down 157 because there's a 10 degree difference 55. yes, 155 degrees 157 is 157. let's check this side yes, 157 is about half a tank or so, yes, so we'll do a little heat cycle we'll run another quarter of tank or so, we'll let it warm up and then we'll drive it very slowly, we'll let it go and we'll give it a little rip, maybe a little, we want that yeah, okay, this thing is ready for a while we're going to check the temperature , remember this is 10 degrees apart, so 74 degrees, yeah, I think we can turn that thing on, yeah, that's a heat cycle, yeah, that's a heat cycle, okay, turn that thing back on, you know , it's your car, leave it. rip man you
