The Next Mass Effect - New Details!

Happy seven days, although I'm a little late, I wanted to go over some of the stuff we got in n7a and also share some of my theories. Now this is all just fun speculation because nothing has been confirmed for the

next

game. So, with that being said, let's go ahead, put on our tinfoil hats and get into it. We actually ended up getting quite a bit for day N7 this year and a lot of the stuff we got actually seems to be focused on the Citadel. so I wanted to touch first on the sanchi impression that we have at the bottom, it says distributed by order of the subcommittee on external relations and friendship towards all eternal peace and brotherhood of all sentient life and it seems that on the far right there is what I assume it's a logo for the Citadel and then what is possibly a date, this may be a stretch, but to me the wording sounds a lot like propaganda for the Citadel, especially when it's titled tourism on the sanshee website, so What the Distinguishing Sentient Life comment here feels very specific and feels like it could touch on the main themes of Mass Effect, which are, you know when a person is a sentient thing that we've seen touched on multiple times throughout the series? ?

We'll come back to this theory, but let's go ahead and look at what the BioWare blog posted for n7a. There are now four images here, two of which are snippets of the same image and one is an old reused Normandy sr2 image, leaving two new images from the blog post, technically this is a new image that we haven't seen posted before , but it appears that it may have been composed of ancient elements. If you look at this tweet and compare this image to a previous Citadel piece, it obviously looks like this. We are saying the same composition, we are seeing the same colors, but a lot has been changed.

One thing that really stands out to me about this image is that there are no lights on anywhere in the Citadel, which is not something that As we have seen before in any of the previous concept art, there is also no Tower in the middle, which is the familiar layout of the Citadel we know. I think the most interesting thing about this image is that we know that the Citadel is orbiting. the earth now is this what we are looking at here is our moon or has this location been changed now all of this raises a lot of questions um what planet is this where is the Citadel is this even the Citadel we know if this was a citadel we know was rebuilt and why would it be inactive now the most important part of this image is this little light here on the bottom right that is absolutely a ship now whether it's the Normandy The Tempest the ship from the um poster that we got last year or just a boat that we haven't seen yet, obviously we don't know, but it reminds me a lot of Normandy, especially the way the Trail engine is and the kind of shape of the top.

Obviously there's no definitive answer, but either way it's exciting as it sounds, at some point we might revisit the Citadel. I actually posted about this on Twitter. Basically I'm just saying: Did BioWare release something we didn't notice? The buying producer liked it, so that leans towards confirmation that this is new to me. Let's move on to this other image that was in BioWare's blog post, so this is the actual full image from their Instagram, while the blog post had two different segments. um one of which had an additional Sky car and here on the bottom right we look like we see a familiar asari, she looks like she's wearing the same contemporary clothing that we're used to in the original trilogy, although the most important thing in this image is in the top, it looks like we see an omega symbol on top of this entire building.

Now Arya is still around. Obviously we don't know, but the visuals and aesthetics here give me an indication that this could be set close to the timeline. of 2190 as we had been speculating based on the data in that clip, there are also two other notable things I see here. I don't recognize what they are, so if anyone knows, please let me know in the comments below. That day, Mike Gamble also tweeted a new piece of concept art that looks like it also has another callback to Omega. Now, first of all, with this image, it looks like we have a solarion, a Krogan, and a turian, all wearing some kind of breathing apparatus and The pillars in the back remind me of the Shroud, which in this case maybe something that is used to help with air quality or also looks like the beam from Mass Effect 3 that was used to transport Shepard from Earth to the Citadel. here on the far right is where we see another callback to Omega.

You can see where it says solar. Here you can also see the solar electronics at the entrance to the afterlife, which is obviously an Omega, so it matches the other image we got. The omega symbol on that huge building has big implications for Omega as to whether it has grown, so that's all from BioWare's blog post and what Mike Gamble tweeted, so let's go ahead and take a look at the clip at the alien, so initially the clip was encrypted, but we have confirmation from Gamble that this is Liara, so you can see what it says right there.

What's interesting about what Gamble posted here is that he says Dr. Shadow Broker and it's worded so clearly. Liara has a new title. A lot of people are speculating that she could be the benefactor, um, but obviously we don't know what that is. Now I want to get into my kind of crazy theory regarding this conversation, because it seems to me that Liara and the Geth get taken out when they're around. Speaking about the council, so maybe if the Geth are around, they're not on the council now to show the sign from the beginning, like it said at the bottom, it has that distinction about sentient life, so that makes me make a point. pause. and I wonder if the guests as a people are trying to establish themselves and perhaps the council.

The Citadel, whatever it is, is taking a stand against that. Mass Effect has always touched on the exploration of sentience and what that really means, so maybe that could be an ongoing theme around the gap, so again just my crazy theory, something that's very interesting about this clip is that it appears to be from the concept art we saw in BioWare's anniversary book, so in that image, although it looks like it's in a different location, possibly or maybe the weather is just obscuring it, um either way, it's see below in the bottom image which is the original concept art we are seeing more of an industrial looking area while at the top it looks like there is a lake in the background.

Now I can see that in the actual launch clip in the bottom left corner there's a ton of text, so let's go ahead and go over that, so even just the name of the clip gives quite a bit of information, so we're looking at essay intersections . ethereum system doc 314. Now the significant thing about this is that for an essay it could mean Systems Alliance and cetherium is a system we haven't visited but what stands out the most to me is 314. so 314 was the name of the relief. since the first Contact War, so in 2157 the humans were activating all the relays they found and they separated in 314, which was a turian relay that they activated and because of this essentially the first Contact War began, so this was the Humanity's first interaction with an alien race and because of what happened, there were obviously some pretty big ramifications, but it's also very interesting that we're seeing the same relay number appear again.

One last interesting thing about the title of the clip is that cetherium is actually the name of an extinct species of otter now the rest of the information at the bottom seems to say something about a ship captain, so Novark is actually refers to a commander of a fleet, he's from ancient Greece and we're seeing here what appears to be a quarian name that looks like it's also hyphenated with a human name, but this makes it look like we're going to see some Corians and Also in the upper left part of the image we see what look like some ships that have a similar arch.

Andromeda's design now goes back to the text at the bottom of the clip they gave us, it says 11,790. Now this could be a date, and I'm guessing it could be four years after Mass Effect 3, which is why Mass Effect 3 happened. at 2186, so this could be 21.90. I tried to also think if this could line up with the Andromeda timeline, but Andromeda occurred in 2819, so if it was 28.90, it would probably be too far in the future for a rider and crew to be present. Either way, I'm very interested to see what timeline this could be and if this is even a date format, now the latest information on this text data is right here where it says monitoring station operated by Green Dagger, so that Green Dagger is actually a The name of a military operation so essentially green dagger was a group of allied forces coming together for a large-scale military exercise, so it would have been different military factions from different countries, all competing in same exercise, so we know that

has always affected. when joining forces, especially between the alien races, so I think the green dagger is a really interesting code name that they would use here in the bottom right corner of this clip, we're also seeing a ship that looks like the ship. that we saw earlier in the Citadel concept art also looks like it has the same four-engine.

Follow the slope at the top of the boat and it's interesting that on the same day we got two separate mediums in the picture. and the clip they both have the same ship now they also sent me this document that looks like someone extracted the metadata from the clip and there are three interesting things from this data so the first one we see looks like Bowie so maybe that is the codename for the

next

Mass Effect game. Now the found footage is the second thing that stands out to me because a lot of people have been speculating that this clip that we're getting isn't actually any kind of timeline that we're going to be in. playing but more of a bridge between the timeline of the original trilogy and whatever timeline the next game takes place in and the last interesting piece here is that we now see the word Reaper if this means that maybe they used data Sound.

Don't know. I'm not sure what this indicates here, but it's interesting that we're seeing this word here after the first trailer we got that showed Liara walking on a Reaper. I forgot to mention something pretty important from the clip we got so you can see it here. there is a visual distortion, so if it is a distortion of the clip itself, like the data is corrupted or something is happening, maybe a cloaked ship, maybe something else, I have no idea, but it is interesting to see the distortion here. I tried to outline it. but there were no definitive shapes, they were just like scribbled lines and I think that's all in the clip we got now.

I have one more theory about Liara, it's not necessarily a theory, more like I don't trust BioWare, so I'm thinking about all the possibilities, but it has to do with Liara's portrayal in the trailer, so in the past BioWare changed things in the trailers to hide spoilers for the actual game, so above we have a trailer for Dragon Age Inquisition where Liliana's face was hidden. that she wouldn't show the aging she had in the transformation of her face that was in the real game, so is Liara older? Is this actually an indication of a timeline? Is this something we could see change in the future as long as we don't?

I don't have a lot of information for the next game, it's fun to see everything BioWare has given us, all these little hints, little hints and trying to come and speculate on things, but in the end nothing is definitive at this point and there are still a lot of unanswered questions.
