I Built MEDIEVAL BATTLES in LEGO

Apr 01, 2024
Today we will be building armies using Lego cmf, so we will use the new series 24 as well as tons of other figures from other series and create some giant

battles

for them to participate in. Let's start with some figures from the newest series I picked up. as many as I could to start, there are two figs I really want as this is the orc and the falconer. This is what we got from our first batch. We will get rid of these at random. Save these falcons for later and focus on To begin with, the Orcs already had a few other rides in my collection and I went to the store to buy some extras, so in total we have a lot of these, but to make the Army more random and diverse, I bought a lot. of supplies and parts from a company called Firestar Toys you can see we have custom bodies, helmets, heads, legs and even some weapons so I took all my figures apart so I could start from scratch and create the perfect army and now we have everything sorted , we can start assembling our army.

We start with this cool leader who has a cool Lord of the Rings torso or he also has a custom helmet, sword and shield and I made him a couple of bodyguards. These guys use the Amazing Ancient Orc Shields which I think look much better than the new ones designed by our leadership trio. I

built

a saddle for this dinosaur using a lot of bones and added a lighter orc on top with a bow and arrow. I also created a small orc. and this guy with this awesome Spear and then I just put together the most diverse Army.

More Interesting Facts About,

i built medieval battles in lego...

I was able to change the torsos, legs, heads, weaponry and whatnot to create as many different Orcs as I could, some have short swords, some have long swords, some look very similar. the one we saw in the real cmf, this guy also has a bow and arrow, this guy also has a bow and arrow and a cool custom helmet. I added this cool shoulder piece to this guy, unfortunately the helmets wouldn't fit this shoulder. piece, so I had to use the normal jaw piece since it's more flexible and I added a cool Mason Shield to it.

This guy has an awesome custom ax and body armor piece and now had a nice variety of minifigures. I compiled them. all in one big army, although I completely forgot about these awesome banners I got, so I removed the dinosaur and this orc on the front, but this guy has an accessory on the back, so I

built

him a banner mount . and I think it looks fantastic with some bones on top and then for the dinosaur I completely redesigned the chair to add a 1x2 bridge plate on the back to mount the banner. The design says it is very similar.

I just added this big tall gray piece and a couple more bones on top to hold the flag and I think this looks absolutely fantastic now that the orc army has completed the time to create an amazing scene for them and for this I chose to make a camp of orcs. I took a base plate and added a few pieces of dirt and an area to build my first tent. There is a very specific reason why these Orcs are here and the story will develop as the video progresses, but these 10 super simple designs came together very well and I continued with the floor pattern. the floor by building a second tent and expanding the land using reddish brown and dark tan pieces with a couple of stones scattered throughout the Mark and I added a couple of piles of rocks as well as this amazing fence that will again tie in with the story in wait a second, now it's time to populate the camp with some skeletons and bones to give it an even more evil effect.
Foreign camp with a couple of tents in the back, a bunch of bones scattered everywhere, and this little fence temporarily put up. On the front here you'll find out a little bit later what will protect the Orcs from and as you can see we're going to connect this to another base location, we've got a couple of pieces ready to go together. the next base plate, so stay tuned a little later to see what you'll be facing, but let's add some Orcs on this armor rack, followed by the dinosaur in the back and some Orcs running around in the center. a couple of books on top of the fence and just spread them all over the drill to make it as busy as possible, like these guys have just been mobilized ready to go into battle and there's the Auckland hut, you can see how messy that is.
Orcs, we still have a few more left to add to the next baseplate and that brings us to our next faction, which will be this tournament night minifigure that came in series 20. It's a beautiful minifigure. I really love that bright, vibrant yellow. For this video, I'm going to remove all the yellow heads from the minifigures using flesh-toned heads because I think they look much better and you can see that I have a lot of legs and a lot of bodies to make so many Crows. nights as I can to face those Orcs, so I started with the Raven King.
I built him using a normal body and legs and then took this other king minifigure from a recent cmf and removed this white part of the cape and added it to this one. custom yellow cape and then I took the added beard and crown on this bearded face and created this really awesome looking King minifigure. I finally equipped him with the sword and a custom shield and now with the leader created it's time to move on to the army. Now I want to have specific ranks within this army starting with the archers with each figure we built on the torso base and Lex, I added a quiver per head and these round brim helmets and of course I gave them a bow and one was not enough. so I made four of these guys and I really love the way they turned out now we have a king and some archers moving on to the next rank.
I'll need these custom helmets since it's time to build on Knights, this first one has a sword. and a shield, in addition to this piece of armor, I gave him this amazing pig-snouted helmet and for the next ones I used these long ax-shaped spears with some armor and these cool helmets to create the king's bodyguards tonight voluminous actually might be one of my favorites here's a giant brick-built shield with a really cool helmet and a sword that he ripped out of an orc's hands, although don't take off that helmet because it has one of those Obi-Wan heads really damn I made three more of these Knights and it was time to move on to the spearmen.
I built the first four with these open helmets and for the second four minute arms I gave them a shield since I had some left over now it's time for the Cavalry. and I built these long poles and some amazing helmets to create the two members of my Cavalry and now with our second Army created it's time to create the second half of the first battle scene. Yes, that's right, if you pay attention to this video, you will see it. Another battle was created later on, but first taking the second base plate, the first thing I did was place the train that would go inside the castle adding a bunch of dark tan stones and pieces to create this Sandy Stoney effect and then I started. the wall using lots of masonry bricks to add some texture.
I built this little arch in the middle that would act as the entrance and I went back in and added some extra studs on the sides that I'm going to use to add a few sheets later I extended one of the precast stairs adding this and creating the first floor which will be where the Archers will stand up to shoot at the Orcs when it's time to build some defenses and supports for the Archers. I use these. inverted slopes to add a bit of texture and build this large door that would go to the front once I finished the door, it was sticking out from the front so I built this area around it to hook it, hopefully this will be enough to avoid the awkward entrance, I filled the area between the slopes on top with reddish-brown bricks followed by a layer of reddish-brown plates using a load of barrels and boxes.
I barricaded the back of the gate to make sure the Orcs didn't get through. and added some railings, supports and beams to the walkway at the top. I finished the top of the roof with some cranulations and added those plants I mentioned earlier using these olive green leaf pieces on both sides attaching them to the studs that were exposed and then went back through some other olive green plants to add a little more variety and texture. I now turned my attention to the outside of the mock, as it was outside of York and Cam, and added some plant bits. and Greenery and I copy and pasted the same train design that I used on the other base plate and now the first build has been completely added in some minifigures on top with arches on the top of the wall as well as the king looking the battle.
I then added all the spearmen and Knights defending this main gate trying to protect all the villagers and peasants living inside the castle and keep the Orcs at bay in case the gate was broken, there really was no room for the Cavalry, so I took them off their horses and used them with their large assignments as an extra layer of defense. I totally forgot but I bought this cool Raven helmet accessory and added it to our heavy note here on the front and now all the Raven Knights were added, it was time to add those last Orcs back in including the leader who came forward and told the king that it was his last chance to retreat before they began to make their way towards the castle that the Orcs are trying to besiege. the castle for becoming useless and they had lost patience, so the leader of the Orca decided that it was finally time to unleash his horde on the castle.
Who do you think will win this battle? Let me know in the comments section below and if you're enjoying this video so far, be sure to hit the right subscribe button, but we're not done yet. I have many other smaller armies that we are going to bring together in a giant battle. Our next TMF minifigure is a beast of the season. 15. Does the community like to call it Fright Night or Bear Knight? Once again we have a good amount of bodies to make these figures. I built it up slowly over time buying these pieces individually instead of buying the complete minifigures and Of course we won't be using yellow heads.
We'll be swapping them out for flesh-colored heads to make the most of my flesh-colored heads. I'm using some of the coolest ones for minifigures with open helmets and I'm using some of the less cool, more damaged or potentially wouldn't look good ones, like these Star Wars heads with antennas, just so I can get the most out of every head I have , but once again mixing it up by creating some bows and even this time making some longbows. I love this cowl piece on these giant bows. The same design is applied to the spearmint we've used in other armies and then to the more armored minifigure Knights each wear. a couple of the shields have these spear axes and one even has this urkai helmet with this big long spear and bear colored flags Knights and then for our four main minifigures we have this guy with a green cape and an axe, another guy. which looks like a tall dwarf because he has a giant beard and an amazing helmet, but even though it is an official Lego helmet that comes with a minifigure of a dwarf and has a pointy mace, again we have another type of traditional night with a this once a longer ax and our leader at the front again has this amazing snake helmet that is actually a Lego helmet and he also has a shorter ax to wield.
In the end I made four bows, four spearmen and eight knights to make a total of 16. Bear Knights, now we're back to series 24 and building a small army of new falconers. I have 10 in total, of course, we could use the normal black Falcons we've seen in other sets, however you like. Keep this army relatively small and I don't want to cheat too much, so we'll just use the falcon's body and legs, but of course we'll get rid of those hideous red locks and of course the yellow ones. Unfortunately, each minifigure comes with a yellow hand, so we'll have to stop each hand to match the shade of the head we're using.
This means we have a lot of falcons to use. I don't think every one. We'll have our own Falcon, but we'll definitely use a pair on this shit, of course. Many of them will be archers and I can't believe Lego hasn't included a quiver with these, but each and every one of them will carry. a bow will of course have a quiver and this really cool angry looking head. I picked up a couple of these dark blue hoodies. They are actually relatively hard to come by as they only came in a few Star Wars sets but have not been seen. since 2018 and I think they look really good with these dark blue capes for the second army member, we added the scared face and this cute blonde hair piece and I think it looks very appropriate for the next one whenYou discover the head of the clone. who has a cool custom tattoo on his face.
He really seems like a cool ranger. The same could be said for this guy as he has a big goatee and again carries a bow and arrow. We can't just make bows, although this guy has a sword. and shield and added a satchel to carry supplies. I changed this guy's arms and added some blue gloves and added this slightly scared face and a backpack and then a messy black hairpiece on top. I made this fearsome warrior who is going to be riding a horse for the next guy, he seems a little angry because he is carrying all the bags as well as this giant flag.
This backpack was taken straight from the new Lion Knight Castle. I did another female archery again with a hood piece that she's going to Be one of the ones that actually has a crow, one of my friends named Kubrick used this really cool technique with these sheer trans pieces to make the hawk fly away and That's our squad of 10 custom falconers, but they'll need some reinforcements, so he gave this leader a horse. In addition to this guy I mentioned before, who gets a horse with one of these amazing boardings that was again seen in the Lion Knight's castles. .
I bought a second of these and also gave it to this black horse who I think looks great too. backing the black falcons i'm rewinding the clocks to series 19 that came with this amazing fright night and could easily build a ghost army but i'll swap them out for normal people under their armor there's some really nice chain mail. Print on his torso, so I bought a bunch of these with the legs, changed the hands to black hands and we're ready to build the little faction, but to start, for their leader, I built this guy here using some jewel molded legs at the rear.
From this Fenix Shan torso, I think it actually represents chainmail quite well and fits in well with the other minifigures. Here's a cool shield and this really sick act that might be one of my favorite official Lego weapons. A layer of shoulder armor and a truly unique custom helmet. Again I built four spearmen and three other Knights, my favorite Knight has this Harry Potter Sword and the other two have these sick cloaks, then the final cmf faction that will actually ally with the bear Knights are these Crown Knights, now This torso was seen on this series 23 minifigure, I changed the legs for these legs here.
I used one of the torsos to make this Archer and then when she gets to the body armor piece, I also used some plain gray torsos with sand blue and flesh tone arms. hands to basically double the amount of figures we have, this is a great trick to save money, but one night I built who will be the leader with this golden helmet, another night with this awesome custom helmet and this big axe, and for the final minifigure , I basically built a spearman, but he will carry this pink flag, really like this long spear I built for him.
Now our final faction is formed. You can see both sides of the armies here. We will have the Bear Knights and the Crown Knights go against the falconers and the Fright Nights, so this time let's prepare a battle instead of two green baseplates, let's go with four. I scattered a couple piles of rocks along the mark and along the sides, added loads. of different plant pieces with a couple of trees, bushes and different strawberry pieces and even some mushrooms in there and basically there will be a big clearing in the middle where the battle will take place, but now that I've made that aside, I'm going to replicate this on the other side and I think it looks pretty sick, we have a cool pond here on one side, some reeds around it and then a lot of other bushes and bits of foliage similar to what we saw on the other side, so now the Battlefields are set, it's time for the two armies to meet in the middle and the basic premise of the battle is the Black Falcons and the faction on this side has basically been ambushed by the Bear Knights and the Crown Knights, these Falconers in Back here they are trying to get their Falcons away to send messages for reinforcements.
All the other soldiers in front of them are trying to protect them. You can see these two arches here, as well as a charge of spearmen and swordsmen forming a sort of protective barrier around them. them, this guy on this horse is trying to advance and take down some of the soldiers, this guy is dodging a spear Matrix style while this comrade is running around trying to block this guy's arrows here, the main Black Hawk guy is hitting people. In addition to trying to avoid this guy's ax blows, this guy is about to finish off this bear knight and this dwarf looking knight is coming in with his mace, they are about to hit this guy in general.
I think I formed a really chaotic battle with each soldier. is aiming at a different person for example this guy is trying to shoot a bow at this guy here and the same could be said for this guy here and I tried to set it up so that everyone is doing something instead of just running around chaotically while The leaders of each faction are sitting here on their horses ready to join in at any time when necessary to watch the battle from afar. I had a lot of fun doing this amazing battle. Let me know what you thought in the comments, tell me which army. is your favorite and make sure to hit the subscribe button and leave a like on the video.
If you liked it and tell me what other CMS factions you would like me to create in the form of an army, many of them were

medieval

but I could definitely do some others like aliens and stuff like that, but that being said, if you like Lego videos be sure to see these that you see on the screen and I will see them there, goodbye.
