He talks to the children and volunteers his time to help them avoid this life of crime. He finally he is pardoned, started by JFK, of course, finalized, the pardon is finalized by Johnson. He has been pardoned by the governor. A beautiful story. People talk about him, quote, as one of the best men they've ever known.
