season

of the Emmy Award-winning show Judy Justice. It's a pleasure to see you and you're great again. having you here, congratulations, oh, it's wonderful to see you all again and you, oh, it's been, you know, 27 years on television, you're the longest serving

judge

on television, you've been on the bench, Over 50 years old, you're probably older than anyone you know, but why would you? I ask you this, you know that a lot of things have changed in the 50 years, but haven't they?

Have you not stayed true to what you believe is right and wrong? You have done well? It's been an easy thing who I grew up with. Know? do the right thing, the right thing happens, uh, take responsibility, pick up your is that gum wrapper on the floor, pick it up being good. I grew up with it and my family was comfortable living within the parameters of certain rules that the family set. that the community was established and everyone seemed to function, that would be a fair statement, yes, happily, first, things are no longer working and I discovered in family court that the dysfunction I saw had not been resolved and even though thousands had been spent of millions of dollars.

Spent trying to find remedy and the right therapy and the right Social Service, it didn't get better and today is just another example that you haven't found the formula yet, so I stay in my own little world. say this is right this is wrong pick up the Wrigley wrapper off the floor you don't have to know the truth to have a good memory if you tell the truth you don't have to have a good memory uh try to keep good friends and keep your enemies closer until you figure out how you can annihilate them well with someone you keep close is your

granddaughter

Sarah and you are you are the clerk of court in Judy Justice, but congratulations on the order, you just graduated from New York. law school and your grandmother presented you with your degrees and what was that?

It was surreal that my grandmother was the first speaker at the first graduation in a couple of years due to covid at New York law school, so I have my classmates excited about the moment and then for me personally it was a joy that she being there and that Beyond being there could give me my degree was really special and my Aunt Nicole, who is also a New York Law School alum, was there to give it to her. for me, so it was a big legacy moment for me and Sarah. You can see the love there and the respect and I saw you nodding your head at everything your grandmother said about right and wrong and yet you two didn't.

We always agree on how you handle that. Personally and at work now it's been great because I think when we discuss the case afterwards we're not just trying to give the audience a real legal lesson from the case. but I think it shows how different generations think differently, have different moral standards and I think that healthy discourse between the two can vent that and show that because I know I'm not the only granddaughter who fights with her grandmother, so I hope it shows the disagreements in a healthy way and in a legal environment, almost a type of debate, because I think it's great that they can accept disagreements to like each other.

Wouldn't the world be a better place if we could? Agree to disagree, be Folsom in that position and walk away and not throw paint on your car and not get angry, yes, healthy discourse as you said, healthy. Yes, in fact, we take a look at the new

I love it. We will have a small gathering at the house and then the family goes away for a week to a private, quiet island just so we can gather strength together as a family. You know, several of us have places in Naples, Florida. We are Florida residents. How's it going? Well, we said goodbye to a couple of cars. that floated out, yes, but overall we were luckier than most people in Florida and hope to return before the season ends, oh yes, we will have a glorious festive birthday celebration, it's a beautiful family, you guys are always so close about how you just want to make a difference you just want to make a difference and you know you remind us of the things that we were taught but we were taught when we were younger and a lot of times you're just a good reminder for us Judy thank you thank you Sarah Rose and the second season of Emmy Award-winning Judy Justice premieres November 7 with four all-new episodes on Amazon. freeze, a new episode will be released every weekday.
