So all you need to do, since it's already soaked in that fuel, is light the charcoal all over it and let it heat up and then I made a tent out of some aluminum foil to keep that heat in. The charcoal was put on and then we could put our burgers on. Now I comfortably have four large hamburgers and a couple hot dogs in there. I definitely could have squeezed in a couple extra hot dogs and tinted it with that foil and let it cook. and then you know it's just cooked like you normally would with a grill let's see how it goes here I've got my little tongs let's get it done it looks good oh those hot dogs look beautiful turn around oh my gosh like this is. beautiful, I can't believe this is totally working, these are perfect, let's just dye it again, oh, they look perfect, look at this, this is totally doable, guys, oh, those are good, look at those beauties, total beauties.

Get up and see how they look. I think they need a little more time, but they are ready. I thought I'd try toasting a bagel here because it would be fun. These burgers look perfect. There's definitely enough heat in this. You could make another round of burgers and hot dogs and maybe even grill some s'mores, so you'll want to make sure it's completely cool before you throw it away, so if that's dipping it in soil, dunking it in water. You'll want to make sure it's completely cool and then you can wrap it all up again in foil and dispose of it properly, just make sure there's no chance of starting any unwanted fires, just be very careful, in the best possible way.

made outdoor hack if you have some mosquitoes you'll want to take note because our next hack is a decorative mosquito repellent all you need to do for this is grab a fresh lemon and some fresh slime , slice them up and then you're going to rotate them in a jar and then you're going to add a couple sprigs of rosemary and you're just going to put everything in there to do it. looks pretty and then on top of that you're just going to add water.

I now have three of these containers. I bought these containers at the Dollar Tree. They are really pretty. I like that they have lids and you'll see why in just a second and then you'll want to add some essential oils. There are now several essential oils that keep bugs away. The recipe suggests that you add 10 to 15 drops of rosemary. I made about 10 drops. of rosemary but I also added 10 drops of Terra Shield, which is Doterra's version of mosquito repellent. Works very well when reviving. There's one called Bugs Away. Lavender essential oil is also very good at repelling mosquitoes and insects, so there are many options and any fragrance that

will

work. the best for you and then I just took some tea lights, you could take floating candles and I lit them.
I think the fire distracts the mosquitoes, so the combination of all these fragrances plus the candle really helps repel the bugs. I think this would be so beautiful. centerpiece but you can place them around

your

outdoor area, light them up, they smell amazing to me, it's a mystery to me why this would repel bugs because it smells really good and it's really pretty so this is a really cool trick for you, the amazing thing is is when you're done, you can

blow

out the candle, leave the candle in if you want or you can take them out, but put the lids on them, put them in the refrigerator until the next night, if you want to reuse them, so this is one that It may go on for a while and this is the one that would be really good for an outdoor gathering this summer so I hope you enjoyed this trick again so my next trick was inspired by one of my viewers Gail Barnett suggests. using listerine as a mosquito repellent so I did some research on this and it really works and also you can use generic mouthwashes just look for ones with strong mint flavors mint is also a repellent but there are some ingredients in it as well mouthwash that help repel those bugs and mosquitoes, so for my version I took some peppermint mouthwash and combined it with about a cup to a cup and a half of I think it's eucalyptus and peppermint Epsom salt and everything. of those fragrances, as well as Epsom salt, repel insects.
I also found recipes that included still beer, which is another option for you to use this natural mosquito repellent. Now Gail recommended spraying

your

screens and doors to cool them down. to keep bugs away from them, but you can also use it on plants and around your garden. You would need to make it in a slightly larger quantity if you are actually going to use it in your yard and garden. and it would probably be a little more expensive than a traditional bug spray, but the really nice thing is that it's completely natural and here's the other thing: the mint along with the eucalyptus and all these scents, it smells super good.
How is this going to detract from mosquitoes? Because it smells very good. It smells so good you can spray it yourself. It feels a little sticky, but I think a lot of the bug repellents that you spray on your body are a little bit sticky and it smells a lot better than those type of bug sprays, so there are a lot of options with this mosquito repellent and I hope you like it. You may find it beneficial, so maybe you have an outdoor gathering planned and want a really fun and different way. to keep your drinks cold well, this next trick is so much fun and

will

add a beautiful touch to the cooling of your drink and what we're going to do is take some flower heads and now I just chose I bought a bouquet from Walmart, but you could go out to your garden and collect some flowers to place them.
I thought it would be really cute with pansies or violas. I only have these daisies to work with, but you cut off their heads. and then you take a balloon and you take your fingers and you stretch it out. It would be easier if you had two people doing this, one could stretch and one could drop the flower and it was just me so it was a little tricky but we did the job, put the flower inside the balloon and then filled it with water. Now you'll see in a second that you might want to consider using distilled water or something like that for your version because I think it will give you a little bit of clearer water, we'll get to that in just a second, the next thing you want to do is freeze it and I would recommend freezing it between 8 and 12 hours, I think is about the amount of time you need for the size of a snowball. ice cube that you have here and then you take them out once they're frozen and you cut the edge and you remove the globe and it reveals this beautiful type of decorative ice.
Now what I will tell you is actually. It looks prettier once it starts to melt a little bit because it removes that initial layer of frost and reveals something clear and I think if you use it like distilled water or something that's been filtered a little bit more than my bathroom sink. with water you would get a little bit clearer image of those flowers and there are a lot of possibilities in this and then you can throw it in a bucket, throw ice on it. I only made this small amount, but you could make a huge bowl or Leave This and I think it would be really cute, but I hope that brings a little personality to your summer events.
Well, I have the most amazing community and I love hearing your tricks, so if you have a good hat for me, drop it. in a comment below because I have a home hack episode coming up which will be dedicated to all your suggestions because you guys are absolutely brilliant so share your brilliant hack with me below so the next hack is how to create an easy table. fireball because maybe you don't have an outdoor fire pit maybe you don't have the space for it, it's a lot of work and expense, but you could make a tabletop fire pit now.
I initially made this in one of my ikea

hacks

last summer. It was a great success, I love how it turned out and what you are going to do is choose a bowl that you like, in this case I found a terracotta one whose shape I really liked, but I didn't like the color, but you can leave the color alone, this part is totally optional and I ended up spray painting the inside in this really pretty shiny gold and the outside in a really pretty satin black and then I thought it looked really cool at first. stuck in these like shaping cans that have the fuel that you use to keep food warm, some sell them at the Dollar Tree, but I actually found that the ones on Amazon are a better deal because they burn longer and you don't.
I have to change them so often, which is good because they burn for about six hours and then I just put all the empty bags and random things in so I don't have to fully load them with some stones, but I picked up these black stones from the dollar tree and I filled them, sometimes I get it and it just adds such a nice atmosphere to your get together evening and then it also gives you a way to toast some marshmallows and make some Also, I think it's a really fun and easy summer hack if you don't you have created a fireball.
I highly recommend it because it is very fun. Do you have a pot that looks a little like this black one but is a little boring? It's plastic, well I have a trick for you, this is another use for a wd-40, it won't be a permanent solution but it should last you a while, what we're going to do is just spray this on and rub. all finished and will give us a nice like new shine, how amazing is this, seriously, I love wd40. Now you may have to repeat this a couple of times over the summer.
It's not a permanent solution but it will last a while and it's a really quick and easy way and you don't have to like replacing the pot so I hope it helps. My God! How many of us have oil stains in our driveway? Tell me I'm not alone with those damn leaky cars and we have a cobblestone. driveway that had a lot of oil on it so let's see how to fix it so I bought this on Amazon. It's either a decrease or it had very good reviews, so let's see if this works. I also bought this little brush, so what?
What we're going to do is pour this on our grease stains, rub it in really well, let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and then I'm going to get out our power washer and we're going to power wash our driveway after two treatments. I would say this process gave me a 60-70 improvement over what I was before, so I'm very happy with these results, but I think if I give it a couple more treatments I can get rid of it completely because it's been sitting around. in our driveway for months and it may take a little extra effort to get it completely out.
This was in the video like last summer, you may or may not have seen that I got a lot of comments in the comments section about that. video that there are many other really interesting tricks to remove oil, including coke. I haven't tried it yet, so let me know if you have any fun tricks for removing oil. Oh gosh, it's hot outside, ah, I have my personal fan, if you've seen me talk about this on my Amazon episode, I just need it to cool down for a second, you might need one of these this summer. This is not a trick, but just a useful little tip.
I'll link this in the description box below because it's hot, it's definitely hot outside, okay, now let's get back to the tricks when you got in too much. I love little trash cans to hoard tricks and this one is really nice if you have some fabric softener bottles or maybe you have a milk jug or maybe you have an orange juice container you can reuse them and turn them into an awesome watering can , so what you're going to want to do is like for me, I just took off all the labels and washed it. very very good inside and out and I cleaned it very well and then I personally took my hot pin which is designed for cutting styrofoam and other plastics and I knew it would be perfect for this so what are you going to do?
Are you going to take the lid of whatever your container is and poke several holes in the lid where water could leak out? So just pushing the pin makes this super easy and I use it for my crafts so it's multipurpose. and it's not very expensive, I'll link it below, but if you don't have a hot pan, what you can do is take a nail and heat it up like a lighter and stick it in. Know? Just take a nail and hammer it, there are many ways to make a hole, the other place you want to make a hole is like right above the handle, make another hole there and you'll see why that is.it's important in just a second and that's it, and then you fill it with water and take it out and you can water your flower pots with it and the cool thing about that hole right where the handle isThis is that you can control the flow, in some cases you can stop the flow completely, but in most cases you'll slow it down and then you'll pick it up and then you'll get the full flow, so whatever you're looking at. because it's so handy to have that around and you have a perfectly acceptable and in my case even beautiful watering can, it was something I would have just thrown in the recycling bin so it was free for me and will work great all summer long.
That's why I love that our next trick is great for renters or landlords. It works either way, let's say you have glass in a front door or exterior door and you want a little privacy, but you don't want to spend a lot. money because those frosting films that you get that are designed for doors are a little expensive but guess what there is a very cheap substitute and you can pick it up at the dollar tree and that's just your normal clear contact paper which it works very well for good. adding privacy and a frosted look, so to do this simply cut the dollar contact paper a little larger than the window pane, spray it lightly with a bottle of water and then stick the contact paper to the window and smooth it out using some type of flat scraping tool, then you'll take a razor blade and cut off the excess as close to the edge as possible.
Now my water bottle went a little overboard and had quite a few stains from the way the water was coming out and a few days later the water bubbles are still dissipating and then in my case you know the bubbles eventually disappeared and it looks Completely like frosted glass. You would never in a million years know that it was dollar tree contact paper and you made it potentially under a money depending on how much glass you need to cover, but isn't that a fun, easy and inexpensive trick that you can do? Does it provide a little privacy?
Let's say you're going to the beach, say you're going to a pool and you don't really want to carry your bag, but you might need a little extra money. This next trick is for you. All you're going to do is grab a lipstick or some type of lip balm container and then you'll want to empty it out. I threw mine in the microwave to soften it a little bit and then you take a Q-tip and then you're going to take a toothpick and maybe some paper towels and you're going to clean it up really, really good, just wipe it down.
If you leave it too nice, you might even want to remove the label to make it look even more boring. The more boring, the less attractive, the better, and then you have a perfect container to store some money that is very discreet, so that's all you're going to do. What you do is fold the money lengthwise first and then roll it up very, very tightly and then put it inside this tube and put the lid on it and that's it and nobody's going to do it. I want to steal that because who's going to want to steal like someone's nasty old lipstick?
It really is as gross as you think about it and then it's really cool, all you have to do is spin it and your money comes out and that's it. you can pay for all your summer sodas and you don't have to carry a purse and no one is going to steal it, so it's amazing, it's like a super easy trick. You may have seen it before, but I thought it was cool. It's great to find something that no one is interested in and store some valuables well. I hope you found this video really useful.
