3D Printed Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Peanuts Gang! [ZBrush, Elegoo Mars, Painting]

Hey guys, welcome back to Chaos Core Tech. My name is Gary and today is video number three of 3D Print Miss 2020. We recently landed a commission job to create Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang for 3D printing. Now, since this was a commission job, we can't share these model files with you, but the person who commissioned them gave us permission to show them in a video and they turned out too good not to share some photos with you. These models were actually a joint effort between Chelsea and me. We created them in

zbrush

and they all have pretty much identical bodies and very similar heads, so I just created bases for all the different shapes we would need in one

zbrush

file and ended up with a mix and match of different pieces that I can put together and create various characters from.

Peanuts doing various things and that counts for all the humans in the group, but we also did Snoopy and Woodstock and once I had a solid base and all the basic shapes there, I sent the models to Chelsea. for all the detail work which is by far the most difficult part and she is much better than me at that and those details include like wrinkles in the clothes, some different patterns that they have on the clothes, all the detail work on hair, she did a really, really good job with all of that and, as always, she nailed it with those details, but while we can't share these peanut

files, we created a Red Baron Snoopy a long time ago, so If you are interested in this, we have it.

pro using ceratec resin and they turned out beautifully. Chelsea cleaned all the supports, cured them, and then moved on to post-processing work. So when you print with resin, a lot of times if an object is big enough you need to hollow it out and then you have to have drainage holes to allow the resin to pass through, but the unfortunate thing is that it leaves a hole in your cheeto box model It has an option to print those little plugs that remain from the model, so we tried it and it actually works pretty well, so Chelsea used them to fill those holes, enjoy some beautiful pictures of Chelsea's

These turned out really great, many of them have iconic poses like Linus with his blanket and Schroeder on the piano, so here are the final results.
