I swear there's never anything more powerful than a locomotive capable of JUMPING tall buildings in a single bound, but it can also fly, so it's a little less impressive when you know that looking up at the sky is a bir it's a plane well, I'm not looking none of those things are super Monon hi I'm the Nostalgia Critic guy remember so you don't have to do it why is everything still in black and white I thought it would be more like the cut SN look FR I hired you to do the

critic

al cut or the cut SN I hope you are professional maybe your office has eyes so red that all you can see is black and white fix it much better Why did you make me edit this again?
the snyder cut nostalgia critic
Because I already reviewed Justice League and because I edited that someone else has to edit the SNY cut review, isn't that so backwards now that you understand that DCU is my 10? One hour edit done, yeah, wonderful, but I put it all together in 25 minutes, but the 10 hours are still there, sure, Snider cut, baby, it's pretty well known that while Zack Snider's name is in the League of the original Justice, a family tragedy caused him to resign. and the studio had just scrapped, finished editing, and reshot since its disappointing response, although fans have been demanding for years that the SN version of the film be released as if there was just a finished edit sitting around Warner Brothers that they wouldn't let that no one saw her.

More Interesting Facts About,

the snyder cut nostalgia critic...

What kind of crazy do you take it? There's no way you can immediately answer that, however, in 2021 Snyder got the go-ahead from Warner to edit and even finished filming his version of the film. Now I'll be totally honest. I didn't think he was going to be so great. Snider is a talented filmmaker but I don't think he always understood the importance of his character in Batman v Superman. I still don't know why Batman is fighting Superman, anyway. Seeing people's intact vision of something is interesting to me. Star Wars was clearly great because people jumped in and gave Lucas advice, but the Phantom Menus are one of the most fascinating examples of people never telling anyone no, well, Warner said yes several times here, allowing Snider. chew it up in the IMAX ratio as if he intended to forego the rather harsh R rating and even have a 4 hour watch.

Words can't explain how excited he was to see this implode on itself, but at least one artist would finally have his image intact. vision and with all the jokes and reviews I've made over the years mocking this guy's vision of the DCU, this is not only my favorite DCU movie, but it might be my favorite movie of its time, it's so drenched in gripping visual storytelling. atmosphere and tone that balances its epic scale but also quiet reflection, sure there's a lot of conversation but there's also a ton of imagery and they both help each other tell the story in the same way an epic comic does.

I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie and I'm going to go into detail why, now that my take on the review has finally been edited. Yes, I didn't leave anything on the floor of The Cutting Room. Good to Know. Let's finish the super month with SN. cut, okay Zach, you want us to like your DCU movies, maybe don't remind us of your DCU movies, there's already more cyborg in this cut than we've seen in Weeden's version. I will say that the only thing I missed from the original edition is the song Everybody Knows.
I was actually surprised it wasn't an SN choice, but it already establishes the mystery of the Mother Boxes much better without even saying a word of dialogue, as we see them seemingly come to life with Superman's death, just the buildup to This Amazon cautious approaching this is much tense than anything else in the original, except that in one shot we all agree it's the only good moment in the film. Bruce Wayne goes looking for Aquaman, so he asks Aquaman if he has seen him. There is a stranger coming to this. Sea people, they come in winter, when people are hungry, they bring fish, which is like killing a family, you know, if I want Weeden jokes, I watch the Weeden version and that being said, it's interesting to compare these two alternatives as these two scenes. conveys the same thing, but Weeden's version only sticks to the essential information with an occasional joke, it's concise and fast, but you don't usually care because it goes by so quickly.
Snyder really takes his time with him, which you think would be drawn out, but he keeps you more involved. because the characters are really taking in what the other is saying, so so are we. That said, I'm a little surprised that some silly moments made it into both versions. The fight is coming, we will need you to not count on Batman, why not too? you call Shazam when you're with complete strangers but we hear this song that people seem to like but I think it's just weird it's a typical Snider experience for me but seriously for one of our movies this movie flies like , What would you say?
We are about 3.4 minutes later, we are already at the 15 minute mark and it doesn't feel like that amount of time has passed, even if they repeat some of the same mistakes, maybe a man who walks in a cave for a living is not made to do it. be a recruiter I hope this God is aware of our secret. Did you hear me shout that he was Batman? That's why we get the terrorist attack. Wonder Woman frustrates, except again more attractive, we are a small group of reactionary terrorists who want to convert. go back a thousand times in Europe the mentality that we did not have in the first edition.
Can I be like you something? You can be anything you want to be, well that's a little much, but literally the filmer with her cutting off a guy's head, I think a little levity is appreciated. Stephen Wolf arrives to steal the Amazons' mother box and okay, he's still not an amazing villain, but he's like Loki when you know Thanos is coming, he's decent enough and gets the job done. SN is used in slow motion. much better here also in many of his movies he feels a bit random but when he uses it here I feel how demanding the physical strengths of these heroes are or what character is processing the PR.
I never thought about these nameless Amazons fighting Steep and Wolf, but when the slow-motion queen slides out of there and looks back at her crumbling temple with all of them inside, you feel the same loss she's going through at that moment. , but you also feel the urgency that he can slow down, he has to keep moving by then. However, the wolf obtains the box and disappears with it. They're all fired. They do that thing about turning on the Gondor Beacon and Diana gets the message that she's going to look for answers by placing the arrow in an ancient temple where the future forecast doesn't look very good.
Again, not a word is spoken here, but looking at these carvings versus Diana's reaction is all you need. Brian Singer will be the new guest director, even the choice of songs greatly affects the pacing if we go from Diana watching the Dark Side to Aquaman returning to the ocean in slow motion, both scenes together would feel too slow, but going from one Suspenseful score to a laid-back song perfectly offsets these two scenes. There is King, there is a king. I can't believe we're actually an hour in at this point. These small additions really make a big impact.
You are the rightful king of Atlantis. Aquaman is told that danger is coming and that he should take the throne, but he refuses. The time has come to take your mother's Trident. I foresee a triumphant future and you know. Enough of Stephen Wolf talking to his superiors, maybe too many times as the movie goes on, but again, it's legitimate to hear what he has to say because we find out more about him and he's looking for Redemption, you betrayed him, your own family. . I saw my mistake. I said yes for these purposes, but I know better now that we are giving the power to dcu as a non-couple when Wonder Woman meets Batman and once again these two have very good chemistry.
Hello, a new toy. I wish you were, yes, us. We're telling the backstory of the mother boxes going back years and well, I guess it's no surprise that the guy who directed 300 can make this interesting, although he needs more stone goats while the dark side was waging war, found a secret there, a hidden power. in the Infinity of space, the stone mother boxes of infinity, which is still a strange name, sounds like a gift from Hallmark, the defenders of the Earth attacked and fought as an Amazon alongside Atlan together with the Guardians of the sky, it was familiar but cool, of course they won and The mother boxes stayed safe.
Bruce and Diana decide they need to recruit others to help in this battle, so they go to Barry Allen in another scene that hasn't aged well when you know more about the actor you just had. having a hot dog in that scene ding Zach is like a challenge how can you connect every scene with a dick in some way? Your son can be the captain of the certified genius soccer team. We get more information about the backstory of Cyborg, an amazing soccer player who is also a computer. There are so many geniuses, but his father is always absent and seems to be having a nice conversation. with his mother, so goodbye, his father does what he can to bring him back to life, but as you can imagine, they can't cure him. true wounds your physical strength is just the tip of the iceberg the tip of the tip every time I see Dick Snider ah he finds a way like many.
What impressed me the most was Cyborg's character in this version, since he was very public, he and marijuana did not. You don't get along, so they kept you out of a good portion of the original movie. Here he's still in the shadows, but that's the point where we see him grow into the Solitude of it and learn more about his abilities through one of the most original ways I've ever known. Seen in a superhero movie, his mechanical side allows him to hack practically anything, including speaking machine language and, to some extent, understanding what a machine feels just for its purposes, which might sound really ridiculous and too dumb and yeah, they just explained all that. verbal it would probably be, but they create this abstract world inside his mind where the digital information and his thoughts are literally one.
It's one of the coolest and most inventive ways to get into the mind of a superhero, show what he's going through and how he helps others in need. through such a unique way because of this, his performance also changes now that you're reading more of his facial expressions because you know that literally a whole different world exists inside his head. This approach turns cyborg from the most boring character in the movie to the most interesting. character from the movie Barry Allen Bruce Wayne while Batman goes to visit Barry Allen much of this is almost the same as the original minus what Jos Weeden's dialogue added like brunch like what is brunch here I thought Carrie Fiser's ghost wrote That scene.
I'll be honest, the most emotional part of the movie has nothing to do with the main characters because when you know why Zach walked away from the original production, that little sign hits pretty hard, Diana gets a message on her computer to be fair, this is how many fans ask Gadoo on a date and of course she turns out to be a cyborg, why are you looking for me? Diana, you know who I am. I know more than you can imagine. Seeing that line in any other movie would be so forgettable and generic. but since we're allowed to see what he sees and happens, that's suddenly one of the rudest lines in the movie.
I do not need anyone. I told myself the same thing for a long time. I lost someone I loved once he came back. a little bit and made everyone in the world give up their wish, it was quite a deal that cyborg once again refuses, but at least they have Barry who still has the dialogue which, once again, surprises me, wasn't written by Weeden as a bad sign. Oh, sorry, that's your signal, that means we have to go now, okay, everyone else knows that. Stipple Wolf takes the second mother box from under the sea. Apparently Amber heard that the sudden British accent wasn't enough to stop him.
He is as short-sighted as he is cruel. take the men we've left in ancient mounds around the Mother Box, oh rather, and just a regular running time movie. I think we can show our heroes united in costumes now driving back to Striker's Island between the two cities a group of scientists have. been kidnapped by the steep wolf, one of them is Cyborg's father, therefore, they go in to try to save them. Do you really think that oh wow, they just disappear, huh, oh, that's rude? Know? Can you go back in time and create a paradox? where your jokes work in the movies, they have a great fight and well again Snider is pretty good at making visually interesting battles and this is no exception but I never saved anyone before yeah that scene disappeared thank god that didn't make sense.
Aquaman joins the party like before and the last Mother Box is safe for now the resurrected dark side is not happy I will walk on his bones and bask in the glow of anti-life he seems nice we find out that Cyborg's father used the mother box to bring it back to life, which means they can use it to bring back the person they don't even have to name who's going to say it. I'm not going to say it. Oh right, this is a fantastic month. Did you know that even if you have a 401k plan for retirement, you can still have a 401k plan?

I've never played a Final Fantasy game before, so I'm excited to get around to it. look how they are, hope to see you there, they dig up Superman's body and we have one of the toughest lines that strengthen him, you can't knock down the charging Bol, don't wave the red cape, you do it when this red cape is this red cape charges very good and they sneak into the lab to play God with a god oh by the way Lois is in this yeah she's almost shoehorned in like she was in the a versions anyway it's cool again there's no enough charge. to wake up the box, maybe he can do it, flash uses his super speed to charge the mother box and charge superman, except this time there's actually a point he comes back later with time travel, oh and we also get gives this disturbing WOW.
The haunting images can be effective when you hit a and it makes sense that he came back to life, but his brain is scrambled and he attacks Our Heroes again. Much of this is like the original, including, as mentioned, the original's only good scene. however the Batman scene has changed because well he just couldn't get there as fast as the others, yeah I don't know why that really makes me laugh, like I'm saying some of us only have one car, it's a cool car, but Lois. appeals to their humanity and they fly away, Steppenwolf gets the last Mother Box even though Cyborg's father sacrificed himself to sabotage it, yeah the side character I forgot was even in the original, actually pretty sad, I didn't turned into the death of his father, because I told him so about us. waking up that box was a bad idea it wasn't a bad idea it just resulted in a result that was bad from an idea that was bad Superman and Lis go back to their mother's house and remember that line in the original when she says you smell good And you even said for Justice League Jos Weeden, what was that about you smelling good?
Not before? This is what it was supposed to be. This is home. You spoke. No? Not before? This movie relies so much on visual storytelling. I did not do it. I understand that he didn't speak either, everything was communicated only through his expressions and his actions. I also like that the first time he speaks is when he feels comfortable enough that he is literally at home. It makes sense, of course, that marijuana didn't have to show off her amazing funny writing and general teeth effects, so she had to think of another line there and you smell good, those were words she loved, ha, me too.
There's more of Lois reconnecting soups with her memories, which was definitely necessary in the other version and in the The rest of our heroes try to form a plan on how to stop Steppenwolf. I don't care how many demons he's fought and how many hells he's never fought. We, not us. Inspiring words from United, right? Superman, oh wait, oh yeah, what was it? This again he told me under Lane is the key. I think it's something else, something darker, so dark that you will literally never see what it's supposed to be. It also seems like a cyborg fixed Bruce's plane, it literally never got off the ground, you fixed it.
I wanted to fly fly it's his nature yours too oh that's something else this movie has chemistry I actually like listening to these people cheering each other on will you be here Alfred I know what makes you so sure Faith Alfred Faith the other movies did make it of course he was space, Jesus, the mother boxes merged into one and again showing more of Superman's journey into himself. Memories of him call to him as he chooses a pretty new Rock and a suit. I assume you're Alfred, he said you'd come now. Let's hope you're not too late, don't worry in DC movies, even when it's too late, it's never too late, except our heroes attack and attack and the actions are fine, it's nice to see the original color scheme, it's That is, without color. scheme, but it looks better than gods sneezing and Kool-Aid dusting all over Earth and they all work together so much more in this one instead of just letting each other take turns fighting the threat that they legitimately function as a team that is The reason we want to see them as a team in the first place, if one of them is not there, this would not succeed, said they do not succeed, not the first time, anyway, time to destroy the Box between Flash and Cyborg doesn't know what to do.
I'll let him explain that he has to go faster than the speed, way beyond the speed of life, he has to break the rule, Barry and you have to do it now and I know I'm going to sound hypo

critic

al, but this is turning the Earth upside down. back well done, not only was it shown that this could be done before, but it is also something that will be done in the future, make it clear why it is not good to continue doing it in the future and also it is done while the dimensions merge and the powers merge and there are like a million other weird things going on here that could also connect to how this is possible.
It's actually so crazy with so much going on that it kind of comes true. I want a Justice League movie, but let's get Zack Sniders Justice League I want it to be as incredibly strange as Zack Snider's Justice League can be when the wolf is defeated in the most pointless way but also incredibly violent possible unpleasant The characters next attraction I'm so angry we'll never see him, we'll use the old ways, we could have made his voice for Ed Asner's final role, however the day was saved, the League of the Justice is formed and all is well, what do you mean? 28 minutes left.
Well, the epilogue. um, yeah, I didn't care much for the epilogue. I guess there's nothing really wrong with it per se and again it's an extended cut, I should try my best but I almost left it at this point. I just saw a 3 and 1 medium. One hour movie that didn't feel like a three and a half hour movie at all but with the epilogue I instantly feel the running time of the movie with that being said some of the things are great. You know, I hate Eisenberg's Lex Luther, but replacing him, shouldn't we have done that? our own league with, if you want Batman, his name is Bruce Wayne, that's an improvement, seeing the apocalyptic future that Batman dreamed of is pretty cool, even if it features the drunken mind of Mor, who offers sexual favors, don't you want kill me, who's going? to give you an idea, it's Jered Leto's Joker, directed by the guy who made this, of course, it says something like that, but probably my biggest shout out to the screaming god ever was when they revealed that one of the most underrated actors Harry Lennox was about to play Martian Manhunter, your mother and father would be proud that you called me Martian Manhunter.
This guy is a Shakespearean actor and I think he would have crushed it as this character in future movies if they had gone the makeup route and don't you know, Michael Bay. Ninja Turtles covered in JFK's lips from Force Gun, but yes, for a movie, I was reading the piece too wrong Bill because I love this movie, it has a unique identity that separates it from other superhero movies, but not from the past movies in his library, whether for better or worse, Snider being allowed to do whatever he wants really shows how well he can let the images in a visual medium do the talking most of the time.
I'm not going to act like this is an amazing script or anything but its atmosphere and pacing and even some of its ideas are so appealing to me that I feel like it gave me an experience I'd never had before, one in which superheroes practically They don't make superheroes until a movie's normal running time is up, and surprisingly, I didn't. Note that it really does feel different in a way that plays to this filmmaker's strengths and very little to his weaknesses. It's not the Justice League movie I'd expect growing up reading the comics, but that's also what I like about it, it's something. different that plays with different rules and gives me something new, they're not groundbreaking rules or anything, but they offer a fascinating point of view that relies more on tone and going slow while still being bombastic and super energetic.
I can't say it's like one of the best superhero movies to watch, but it's one of the most unique superhero experiences you can find and there you have it, my special 10-hour review of the SN cut just flew by, does it? No? Yeah well that's what happens when you have such a hot star, yeah that's one word to describe it, oh that reminds me you're still doing that 3 hour Nostalgia Creek intro right? Yes, and I'm so good that I reduced it to a few seconds. You are a miracle worker. Well, thank you all for joining me for the super month and you know I've been making fun of Warner Brothers a lot.
I think it makes sense to make fun of your competitor. I just wish there was a clear sign that could show me the way. right direction for which movie to mock I just wish someone could make it so clear who is going to give you a scope.
