, is answering a fan question by episodes, we have them for you here, an official real-

We publish a couple of videos a week and they are all focused on the Wheel of Time. With all that being said, we will talk about a few things about the second

season

and show some of them. pictures and uh we can't do that without spoiling some little things so spoiler warning in today's episode we're talking about elements from season one and season two of the Sony and Amazon show Wheel of Time so if you don't have you seen the first season, that's episodes one through eight from Sony and Amazon, then before Warren, I'm going to spoil the plot points and minor character arcs from the first season and if you haven't read the first three

books

from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, that's the eye of the world.

The Great Hunt and the Dragon Reborn. I'm going to speculate a few things with the second season, so I can spoil the character arcs and plot points of those three novels. Well, with that said, let's move on to the video. We're starting with this article from Screen Rant. I left a link below in the description box. You guys want to take a look at it, but essentially it talks about some of the Game of Thrones problems that they would introduce. important characters and then I leave them alone for a long

time

and then come back to them much later.
I only saw the first one. I want to watch four seasons of Game of Thrones before I dive in, but I noticed there were big sections. from every season where they just ignored a character or maybe a character was gone for quite a while and then came back but they were still important and integral to the story, now the article talks about how they're not doing that with Moiraine, Roseman said So Pike will stay for the second season. Now the second season is largely based on the events of the great hunt and some of the Dragons were born, at least that's what we think.
Anyway, it's been mentioned that elements from

books

one, two and three will happen in season two and let's face it, Maureen's role in the big Hunt is pretty small, she's not involved much, she takes a backseat to a bunch of other characters, now it's been seen pretty blatantly in the first season that Moiraine is the main character of the show, which makes sense because Roseman Pike is a very well-known name, she's a very famous actress and she's very well known in almost everywhere and attracts many stars to the show, so of course, in addition to being a producer. she would be the center of the show now, that hurts a little when you get to points in the series where Moiraine may not be at the center too much, which would certainly happen in season two, however, the rape that Judkins has mentioned a couple of times before. that they've rewritten some things and reworked some things so she can have more story and be more involved in season two, so this article talks about how that's a good thing and how not leaving certain characters for long periods of time will be Make the program a little better.
Now I have a little argument about that and that is that if they are going to do this, if they are going to keep all these main characters, because there are a lot of main characters, there is not just one. Realistically, there are a ton of them in the books, they'll keep them all front and center and keep all of their store stories intertwined, they'll have to do one of two things, or they'll have to cut a ton. Which I think we've already seen and I think that's going to happen or they're going to have to start giving us more episodes per season or longer episodes now that the second one is kind of a pipe dream.
Amazon is practically married. to the idea of eight episodes per season and just under an hour per episode, that's just their formula and they think it works so they're going to stick with it regardless of how much is filmed or how much they can do, so I don't. I think we're going to see that, so I think we're going to see some massive cuts and some massive mergers and look for stories to keep some characters that may not be as important later in the books front and center to keep them. in people's Mind's Eye, so to speak, so it's my two cents anyway, but we'll have to wait and see what happens with the second season.
Now let's talk about this, there is an anniversary giveaway, so the first season will be out just a little bit. It's been a little over a year, like a year and a day, when I'm filming this and the official Wheel of Time Twitter account launched this anniversary giveaway, where you can find or win a signed copy of the world and the soundtrack and All you had to do was type hashtag wattsweeps below the post, so I left it down in the description box. Depending on when you're watching this video, it may be too late to enter, but give it a try. a chance anyway, now it's down there.
I know we've talked about this a couple of times on the channel. Twitter isn't exactly everyone's favorite, especially now. I mentioned the intro where Great Value Tony Stark aka Elon Musk took over the platform and there's been some crazy stuff going on like they've lost advertisers. People have impersonated other accounts when you could buy the blue check mark and you can't for a moment and then they are thinking about going back to it or maybe they have. I don't know anymore, it seems to change every day, there's a lot of confusion and chaos there, um, a lot of staff have resigned or been fired, so the future of Twitter is certainly up in the air, I'm sure part of that. it's by design for publicity and I think a lot of this is real, so it leaves the question of what's going to happen to the Wheel of Time fandom.
The main place for fandom at lunchtime for the last three or four years has been Twitter, it's called Twitter. of time that's where the official Amazon account The Wheel of Time interacts with the fans who give them or us rather a little bit of things castings videos photos Clips everything happens there it will eventually appear on Facebook and Instagram sometimes it doesn't appear at all but sometimes Sometimes it does and eventually you will sometimes see it in articles for variety or deadline, but mainly the interaction has been on Twitter, now there has been talk about what would happen if Twitter was like the dodo and disappeared, but no one. really knows what would happen and that brings us to this right touch: ask a question with dragon man a dragon mount um.com is the oldest Wheel of Time fansite in existence.
I mean, they've been around forever and they're doing a rewatch campaign, so now they're rewatching episodes one through eight of the first season and they're asking fans some questions like what would they like to know about these? episodes in particular, they're doing polls and the winners of those polls are given to Rafe Judkins, the

showrunner

of the show in real time, and he's answering those questions. Now this happened and there was a bit of a gap between the questions being asked and the answers, and that's where the rape trials came from. I wasn't sure Twitter was still working, but I'll answer all of these questions this weekend.
I'm sorry if the delay makes you feel better. I was back in Prague to start preparation for season three, which is really cool. We knew the writers room. I've been in London for the last while, working on the third season, now they're starting to prepare it, so they should have at least the outline done, if not some of the scripts, finished so they can start preparing the locations and stuff, and they are talking. Prague, which is very nice, there are some thoughts that maybe they wouldn't return to Prague for season three because the Czech Republic has killed, they've completely shot down the incentive program for filming there, so that's gone for the moment. .
The last couple of months, the second season in real time got it because they're grandfathered in, but there were a lot of different things being filmed there that were moved out of the country because they weren't going to have the same financial incentives that they had. last year, so anyway we're going to address some of these questions, so this one is about episode two and the question was if there was anything cut from the episodes that we would miss that you would like to have in the episode. and the racial response was that there were so many cuts in this episode that I missed some of the stages of the script and some after filming will hopefully eventually make it to the screens.
I'll talk about two that I missed from the script now it says two I think. he makes three here, but I want to talk about it, hopefully they make it to the screens. There was some hope that we'd see some deleted scenes and stuff like that on the Blu-ray release of The Wheel of Time, nothing just on the Bare Bones release. We haven't seen anything on Amazon Prime or Amazon Video, hoping that later on when the show is over, all eight episodes or all eight seasons are done or all seven seasons, depending on how far they go, that they'll release a full box set with many of these deleted scenes where they release a director's cut would be absolutely amazing because I know for a fact that there are a ton of things that they filmed that would make the show not only better, but would make it feel better, it would explain a Lots of stuff for fans who had questions for the first season, but I digress anyway, so stuff that was cut that I wanted to see in the land of Wilma fighting and killing a fader and seeing him take down the big group of troll locks that were.
Controlled by him, it was a big moment for Earth and helped establish the rules of our world, which would have been really cool because up to this point I don't think anyone really knows the metaphysics behind the show's shadows appearing. It hasn't really been explained in the world of the show, so viewers, whether they know it, haven't read the books, or are familiar with the books, probably won't understand exactly what's going on with Fades and troll locks. what the relationships are because it hasn't really been explained yet, I hope they get to this in the second season, but it would have been cool to see the first season now that Moiraine created her wall of fire to contain the army of trollocks that are chasing her.
I remember loving books and myths, we couldn't have it. She was just outside Shader logging out when, as they were escaping from the trolls chasing them along the way, she created a large wall of fire, and then collapsed. out of exhaustion after her and they take her to Shader's logout and that's where they spend the night that happened in the first book, The Eye of the World, and would have been a really iconic scene to see in the first season. Unfortunately, they didn't. If I didn't include it, I understand why it probably would have been very expensive to film, but it would also have been great and a third bonus, there are too many, was teaching the kids to defend themselves with the storage staff and act, each with their own emotion. invitations there were a lot of people who were very upset that this didn't happen in the first season because how do we know how Rand is trained with a sword?
How do they know how to use his weapons now to be fair the first time? In the season we didn't see any of the guys use his weapons much, very, very little, so the fact that they weren't trained on land on screen didn't really mean much to the show becausealone, but in the future. It's where she really starts to form that bond with Rand and it would have been really nice to see those scenes with them together, taking on a fatherly role with these three young men and teaching them a few things. I hope that maybe we can see some of that in the second season or in Beyond, but I really don't know if they will include that.
The next question was how they chose the tone and the theme. The Man Who Can't Forget um and the racial answer was that we wanted Tom to have more of an old west vibe on the show, which added a lot to the tone of the song, but Dave Hill actually wrote the lyrics for The Man Who Can. Don't forget about the dragon itself after he broke the world. Look again and you'll see him hit Rand. I liked. A lot of people didn't like Tom in the first season. I like the way he was portrayed. I liked the changes in his character, I liked the western vibe and I really enjoyed singing the song.
I just hope we get to see more of it because they shortened it a little in the first season due to filming conflicts. So we just have a little bit of Tom. I hope that maybe he shows up a little more in season two and Beyond. Now the next one was about Easter eggs. Are there any Easter eggs that no one has really noticed now that I picked up? this seriously and I started going through the episodes trying to find them, uh, and we'll see, I think some of these I mentioned in videos before, maybe people didn't realize, but their answer was we.
We have so many Easter eggs everywhere, from the trinkets on the Pedantvine card to the fact that every house and two rivers we built were named after inhabitants from the books that matched their descriptively described jobs and hobbies, once Sarah He didn't think people would realize that Sarah's mention of trust was naive. The river to a green in the women's circle ceremony not only points out the moment they are in the story and how to embrace the fountain (you can hear the water and Moe's teaching scene in episode 102), but also how naive it will eventually break its own lock now.
That's great. I didn't mention that in any of my videos and I don't think I've seen other breakdowns talking about it. I did talk about, you know, River Point's confidence in embracing The Source, but I didn't. I'm not talking about naive blocking, um, it's actually very interesting for those of you who haven't seen or read the books. Rather naive has a power lock and I'm giving you spoiler warnings until the third book so we can talk about this part. she can only channel that she's angry, so her iconic thing that she does all the time is double down on her break when she's angry, you know she can channel a little bit around you, which is actually really cool, so now let's talk.
Just a little bit about that leak I mentioned earlier in the video. This is Michaela, she is a life and art model and now she does silly body exercises, if you remember way back, we're talking months and months and months ago during the filming of the season. two, there was a call for a body double and the role had to be stripped down and covered in blood. Now we weren't 100 sure at the time, but there was a lot of speculation that this would have been for Landfire or Celine and Michaela recently. She updated her CV and her Instagram to reflect the fact that she was in fact Sling's body double for the second season.
Now, this is quite interesting news in itself because she is a life of an artistic model and Instagram is full of different artful poses. We know from her mentioning that she was going to be covered in blood or the particular scene she was doing for the second season and she posted this on her Instagram. The Bachelors have the honor of performing a little bloody in the second season of Wheel of Time. Now, this is the shock of the season 2 trailer with a character covered in blood reaching out to grab what we think is the hand of a shamer.
Now we're not 100 on this, but that's what we think it is and now we know it's her since it is. posted this that she was the body double for this internal CV says she's a Celine body double so this is 100 Celine or fear land uh in the second season of The Wheel of Time now we're not 100 sure which actress she plays to the role yet, but we know that Michaela is a body double and has filmed scenes for season two because her CV and Instagram reflect it, so let's end on a high note here with some Wheel of Time merchandise , but before. we get into that, I want to mention that if you create streaming products, whether official or unofficial, your streaming content creator, you have a podcast, a YouTube channel, a Discord server, basically anything, write to me, my email is in the About section of my channel information and I would love to hear from you.
I want to show all the Wheel of Time stuff that the fandom does here on the channel, whether you sell stuff, create stuff, or just want to share your real. time, love with the world, we want to see you here on the channel and you've seen it in the last two videos, so in my last video I featured illustrations by Woodrum. He had a Redbubble store where she sold some t-shirts. He had an art station where he sold a lot of prints of his artwork, some of them related to the Wheel of Time, it was really very interesting and today we have something else, this is from Simon Schuster The Unofficial and I have to emphasize that the coloring book The Unofficial Wheel of Time, so this The book is not official or authorized, it is not licensed, approved or endorsed by the authors of the Wheel of Time book series, they are publishers or Sony content services Pictures Television and Amazon, so this has nothing to do with the show or the books in any way. or way apart from the fact that it is a truly Kick-Ass Wheel of Time coloring book, so on the back it reads that with this coloring book you can explore all the nuances of the lush world of the best-selling fantasy series The Wheel of Time. now showing Amazon Prime using your crayons brings Moiraine and our perilous quest for the dragon reborn to life within the fight 45 scenes you can bring to life, including naïve Sean Chan's skulls and traveling apothecary on the west coast and more , that's such tongue twister Sean Chan on the West Coast and more, sharpen your colored pencils and escape to the world of The Wheel of Time with the unofficial Wheel of Time coloring book.
Now Simon Schuster sent me this book to appear here on the channel and eh. I am a fan of coloring books. I love it. I have a ton of adult coloring books and so does my wife. We enjoy coloring in our downtime if you just open to a random page. Here we have the tank cars. We have Wayne and Maureen. learning how to channel, there are a lot of different panels here from the program itself. I want to emphasize that it's not official, but it's great if you like coloring, if you like The Wheel of Time, I would definitely recommend picking up this book.
Again, the link is down in the description box, it's really cool to have and it will definitely be on the shelf there with the rest of my Wheel of Time books and the swag to have it in the background of all my videos, uh and of course . Of course, I'm going to color it because that's what you do with the coloring book, so I want to thank you all for sticking with me until the end and for many more.
