How To REPROGRAM Your Mind While You Sleep To Heal The BODY & MIND! | Bruce Lipton

Apr 23, 2024
That's one of the biggest questions in this world right now: Are you living the life you want or are you living a life that's been programmed for you? An answer, unfortunately, as most of us live a life that we have been programmed with, a central idea. and all

your

work seems to be that it is our subconscious Minds that drive our daily behaviors and for many of us it is those subconscious patterns that are sabotaging the quality of our life, yes, but the big problem is when you say word subconscious what does it mean below of conscious, so when people are programming or playing with their subconscious, they are the ones who don't see it, uh, you know, I talk to people, I say, well, give them a 40-year history, the same history so that You have a friend and you know

your

friend's behavior very well and you know your French father and one day you see that your friend has the same behavior as his father and I joke and say, well, hey Bill, you're just like your father. me too.
how to reprogram your mind while you sleep to heal the body mind bruce lipton
Say I know exactly what Bill is going to say. The first thing he's going to say is: how can you compare me to my dad? I look nothing like my dad, and yet everyone else can see that he's the only one who can't see it. is Bill and this becomes the most profound point because he was programmed by his father for the first seven years and he plays these programs 95 percent of the day and the reason he plays the subconscious programs is because the conscious

mind

is busy thinking and thinking. It's an inside job not to look outside and I'm going yeah well let's say I'm driving my car and I start thinking and then my consciousness is not looking outside now my consciousness is thinking about something I said well then who's driving the car and I'm going This is the most important point - the subconscious is on autopilot at the moment when the conscious does not pay attention to something, the subconscious sits down and starts driving a car according to the program and that is where problems arise, the programs subconscious were discharged by observing other people. when you're playing with your subconscious, you're not playing with yourself, you're actually playing your download and you don't see it because you're thinking, but everyone else sees the response and this is where all the disconnection comes in because people think oh, I'm a happy person. , wonderful and loving and they have problems in the world uh uh and they don't understand it, but what they're missing is that you're not playing that happy, loving person except five percent of day 95 of our behavior comes from underneath Consciousness, uh, and we're the ones who can't see it when we play it, but everyone else, of course, sees exactly what we're doing, so the idea is whether you're living the life you want. do you want or are you living a life that you have been programmed one answer unfortunately is that most of us are living a life that we have been programmed and the programming comes from other people so they are not our lives yes this is a key point because like you're just showing that we can see patterns in other people so clearly, but they don't see them as well as you, yeah, well, the reason, let's give a reason why programming happens, okay, the brain is a computer, the most powerful computer. that humans have ever experienced, but it has parallels with computers and number one is this, in the old days, when you bought a computer before they installed programs, you could take it home, a new computer, plug it in, press the start, turn on the screens. and I say do something and people, well, no, I can't do anything, so you have a new computer.

More Interesting Facts About,

how to reprogram your mind while you sleep to heal the body mind bruce lipton...

You know, you first have to put programs on a computer before you can use that computer. A human's brain is the same. the screen turns on in the last trimester of pregnancy is ready but there are no programs, so the first seven years of a child's life is that the brain is not functioning at the highest level of Consciousness, highest level, vibration higher, now that's what we talk about, we put the cables in a person's head, the electroencephalogram, they read the brain function. A child up to seven years old is not operating in Consciousness, except for one moment, he is operating primarily in a lower vibration called Theta and I said, well, what is Theta?
how to reprogram your mind while you sleep to heal the body mind bruce lipton
I say it is expressed as imagination, that's how children do. They can have a tea party and they don't pour anything into the cup and then they drink nothing and then they explain that that was the best tea they have ever had or a child rides a broom saying that in the child's

mind

it is a horse which is not a broom is a horse, but it is mixing imagination with reality, but Theta is hypnosis and the meaning of that is that children have to learn how to become a member of a family, the rules, a member of a community, the rules, I go, how can a baby be a young man? children learn these rules they can't go to school they can't read the book and all that and I say it's not necessary for nature to give them theta hypnosis so they can observe the parents, the family and the community just observe their behavior . and download them as programs at age seven, that's when they start to become more conscious and involved, so the first seven years are programming and then, unfortunately, we play five percent of our life from our creative conscious mind 95 from the interesting point of the program.
how to reprogram your mind while you sleep to heal the body mind bruce lipton
Is this a new idea? And I'm going 400 years. The Jesuits have told their followers to give me a child until he is seven years old and I will show them the man and what they knew is exactly what we just said. The first seven years are programming, but after seven years. 95 percent of your life comes from that program, so if you can program the child for the first seven years, then the rest of that child's life is actually an expression of that program. Yeah, it's interesting, we've covered it I guess. similar themes on the show in the past, but through a different lens, that our childhood is very influential in terms of our adult behaviors that we develop, we adapt so you know, we adopt certain behaviors to survive, to be accepted by our caregivers and getting love and validation from our parents or whoever is taking care of us, our teachers, maybe and potentially they served us well when we were children, but we are still displaying those same adult behaviors, but we are not children anymore, we are adults and No, now we need to reexamine them and ask: do I still want that behavior in my life or do I want to, as you would say,

reprogram

it so that I can live a different kind of life?
That's the most important information people need. know right now because, like I said, if you are playing a subconscious program by definition, then you are playing it, not with Consciousness, you are playing it without even paying attention to it, uh and I say, but why, well, that's why I said. the conscious mind is creative but the conscious mind can think well so what is the difference I say well creative is all that imagination but thought is an interior if I ask you I say uh tell us what you are going to do next Monday uh and it is not written here in anywhere and for a moment you're going to say oh, let me think and then you'll come up with an answer and I'm like yeah, but where was the answer?
It wasn't out here, the answer was here. so I said, oh, so you had to redirect your attention to think and look inward, but the moment you look to the side, then by definition you are not using the conscious creative mind to look outward and that's when the subconscious is the autopilot that intervenes. and it will manage the things that you're not paying attention to, but it will only manage them according to the downloaded program that you got in those first seven years and it's very difficult if I say right, what program you got in those first seven years.
So, and the problem is that, well, they were programming you before you were born, in the last trimester of pregnancy, we already know that it is being programmed. I mean, a simple thing is if you play music through the abdominal wall when a woman is pregnant and the fetus is. inside she plays the music when the baby is born he will instantly remember or know that music even if the father is speaking the father's voice is transmitted through the abdominal wall the baby is born the father says something the baby knows exactly who the voice is well, that's even before you are born, okay, so I say yes, but you have a program from before birth, they programmed you a whole year from zero to one.
So what do you remember? You know there was no memory there. I said, okay. I have another full year program for one to do. I say what programs you have, you said I don't know because Consciousness was not engaged, eh, and then the problem is that programmings were coming, but the individual was not aware of the program. it was recording playback recording playback that's what it's all about and then I said well this becomes a problem because then I say well what are your programs that essentially control your life and the responses? I have no idea what those programs are, so I just want to help people. for a second, because it's established that only five percent of the time we use the conscious creative mind to direct our life, 95 percent of the time comes from the program, so here's a simple idea of the things that come into your life that They kind of come into your life because you have a program to accept them but those things that we want and we work hard and we sweat and we put in a lot of effort I'm going to achieve it I'm going to make this happen I'm working on it I'm working very hard Why are you working so hard? hard?
And the answer is not because the universe will not give it to you, but because unconsciously your program does not support that destiny and you are trying to nullify it. with extra work and effort so that life becomes more or less a job trying to get those things you want when your program is unconsciously sabotaging you, you know, as we have this conversation Bruce, I have been a practicing doctor for a little over 21 years. and there has been a real evolution in my thought process throughout my career. I felt very early on that many times in medicine we put band-aids on our patients' problems that don't really solve the underlying problem and, at best, they do. just keep him at bay for a few more weeks until they return, that's at best.
I think I realized early on that if I could help my patients change several things in their lifestyle, the way they live their life, food movement,

sleep

stress. uh sure it can have a big impact yeah absolutely but in the last few years I thought about what's going on here because a lot of people have done that, they've changed their life, they feel better and they have the knowledge that they have. They experienced it, they felt better for maybe six months, maybe a year, maybe two years, and sometimes people would go back to their previous behaviors.
I thought about what's going on here and I've looked very carefully at patience throughout my career which hasn't just changed. in the short term, but they changed and transformed their lives to obtain goods and there has always been a big change in their minds, in the way they think, in the way they approach the world, so when I think about your work and what what you just told me and I look at it through the lens of

heal

th and a lot of people listen to this show and watch it because they want to be

heal

thier. I feel like a lot of times the reason they can't implement a lifestyle change is because the underlying program that was driving them to behave a certain way hasn't been addressed that's exactly the problem when people say the mind the idea oh there is one mind one mind I'm fine that is the first mistake there are two minds that we mentioned conscious and subconscious but we also have to mention this, each one has a different function and most importantly they learn in different ways so the mind conscious is creative and that means that it is the one that has the imagination and the things that you want, desire and can.
Put that in and you can read a book, a self-help book, and you'll say, Oh, I got all this knowledge now from this book and I went to the conference and I did all this stuff. I gained all this knowledge. My life hasn't changed. I'm doing well, that's because the conscious mind, being creative, can learn in many different ways. You can just say aha. I have a new idea and your conscious mind may change. The subconscious mind, by definition, is the habit mind and I'm going to say that big habits resist change. because if habits change then they are no longer habits so suddenly you say well, yes I unloaded a habit, you know?
I think about that habit. No, because that is not how the conscious mind and most learn. People are very intelligent. I'm sure this audience has been listening for a long time. They have great understanding and many of them will go. Yes, I really understand what you've been talking about, but one way or another with all that knowledge. my life remains the same and I go, that is because when you educate the conscious mind that is easy but that process does not create a habit so you can make yourself have a conscious mindsuper intelligent all the data all the material I read the book I know everything about it I go yes but that doesn't change the program inside many people think well I'm going to give a good talk and here comes the joke because I say that in the subconscious no there is no one is the exact equivalent of a hard drive and a computer has programs inside there is no one inside and you can talk to your blue face with the conscious mind trying to tell the subconscious mind to change the program, I go, yeah, it's not like that learn a program.
I want to talk about how we can start to change these programs, but before we get there, what is stress? Because if you look at society these days, many people live in a state of stress. Yes, so how? makes stress and lives in a stressed stateRelating to our conscious and non-conscious Minds is perhaps one of the most important questions in this world right now for a very simple reason. We believe that many problems and diseases are associated with genes and then and I mean when I was teaching. In a medical school, what were you teaching the doctors?
Well, at that point, oh, the genes turn on and off and change, they control the character and then I say, well, as far as you know, you didn't choose the jeans and if you don't like your characters, you can't change the genes and, since that activate themselves, you become a victim of your inheritance, oh my God, there is cancer in my family. I have a cancer gene and I'm doing well, let's get to a really simple fact, less than one. The percentage of the disease is connected to the genes. Less than one percent, ninety percent, furthermore, is all related to stress.
Then all of a sudden I say, well, you want to try to tune the genes. I said genes weren't a problem, but stress was the problem. causing the problem and now with the new science it is called epigenetics, it sounds like genetics, but Epi means above, so what we call epidermis of the skin because just below the surface of the skin there is a layer called dermis epidermis means above the dermis , that's the skin, so I say epigenetics. it means controlling Epi above the genes and now there is a completely new understanding because we are not victims of the genes that we understand now that we actually control our genetic activity through our Consciousness or subconscious, which is more important because that is the 95 percent of the time a very important point.
This is like maybe a lot of people in the audience are going to frequent. I say this, but for example, there is no gene that causes cancer. Everyone said, oh Uncle James, cancer genes. I go, no, there is no gene that causes cancer. They are correlated with cancer, but. They are not the cause, especially women are very worried because I have been diagnosed with BRCA breast cancer. Gen immediately what is the awareness of the programming that people have the gene that is going to give me cancer and now the fear. The risk of cancer increases in them because they say they have this gene and then I suppose that 50 of the women who carry this gene never got cancer, so the first thing to understand is that this possession of the gene does not cause cancer.
It is a life that is not in harmony, a life that is out of balance, that is when that gene activates, so we have been blaming the genes, but we never give any credit or power to the person who can influence those. genes and this is what epigenetics is. everything about consciousness is controlling your genetic activity, it reminds me a little bit of um and also the immune theory which I think was first proposed by Dr. Fasano in the United States. I think at Harvard, where he proposed that you need three things to have an autoimmune disease you need yes, genetic predisposition not genetic destiny genetic predisposition yes you need some type of environmental trigger there you have it and you need a degree of intestinal permeability that is also known as leaky gut colloquially it says if you have those three things then you can develop an autoimmune disease and that always seemed really fascinating to me because to me it made sense to know that yes, you can have a certain genetic model, but in reality how that model develops will depend on your environment and your lifestyle 100. are so important, you know, there is a very interesting insight here and that is when people follow the fate of a child adopted into a family where there is cancer and they discover that the adopted child will have the same family cancer with the same probability. any of the natural siblings, so an adopted child gets that cancer, but here's the point, the adopted child came from totally different genetics, so it wasn't genetics that drove that cancer, he was adopted into a family where the programming didn't give them integrity health happiness it's just very stressful and stressful programming and, like you said, stress, the American Psychological Association recognizes that 90 percent of doctor visits are stress related and we don't focus In stress, that is something secondary.
I say no, it's not. a secondary thing is the number one thing that comes from the top down and genes are blueprints for making the

body

's proteins a hundred thousand different proteins like building blocks okay proteins are complex molecules and they wear out. Proteins wear out all the time, so you have to replace them. I said, well, how do you replace this complex molecule? The answer is that DNA is a blueprint for making a protein. I go, so, I go, well, you go to an architect's office and she's working on a plan and I'm. say, well ask her if your blueprint is on or off, she would look at you, do you know what you're talking about?
It's a blueprint, so it turns on and off, precisely the genes can't turn on and off themselves, they don't self-actualize, they're controlled by environmental signals and suddenly, oh my God, well, if the environment controls this, then you're programming the environment, your lifestyle in the environment and all these other things now become the main controlling factor of your genes, not the genes, and we have to do it. let it go because when I was programming the doctors, oh genes turn on and off and all that, I was programming that people are victims because, like I said, as far as you know, you didn't choose the genes, you can't change them.
They operate on their own and then we were programming the victim and then it turns out that the new signs of epigenetics are not the victim, you are the one who actually controls it with your behavior, yes, this is a key point. um, I think we just need to pause on this. idea that if we're just going to play our Genetic Destiny, then we're going to lose a lot of empowerments and here a couple of things come to mind Bruce, um, early on in my career I felt very strongly that one of the most important things Lo What I have to do with any patient with every patient is make sure that they walk out my door with a sense of empowerment that they feel even if they've had a horrible diagnosis, that there is something they can do to influence the way they are. what they're going to feel influences the outcome, maybe not even a reversal sometimes, but you know, they influence how they're going to feel with that condition.
Well, what I have to say is that this knowledge is power and the lack of knowledge is a lack of power when people don't know that they are involved with their own life and their own genetics and their own behavior because they are programmed to be victims and then they become victims because they have no knowledge of this and what they are doing. What I'm doing is waking up, you're powerful if you understand how this works and if you don't understand how this works you'll just say no, it's not me, I'm not in control and people walk away feeling like there's nothing I can do, genes control this and I don't control the genes.
I'm fine, that's the story that's wrong and when people are allowed to walk away from a doctor with that belief, then that doctor has in no way helped that patient. because the idea is this, like you said, I have to help them have a better attitude when they leave this building. I have to give them more power so that they have more power because if they come out saying there is nothing I can do. then the game ends at that point. I'm interested in your individual journey, Bruce, because you come from a very, very strong and respected scientific background, because a lot of people might think that yes, some of these concepts may sound spiritual and, as I get older, I'm very interested in the intersection between science and spirituality or any other way, but you know, in PG s it's something that I've been aware of for maybe 10 15 years, something like that, I think you were talking this way before anyone else 1967 1967 right I don't have the term epigenetics, you have been calling them, no, because my research at that time showed the role of epigenetics, but the term epigenetics did not exist, so we created a word called transformation, that something transforms the existing, now it is called epigenetics. that is the mechanism by which your Consciousness can rewrite this program uh and I saw this.
He was cloning what are called stem cells. Could you say what a stem cell is? I have to say that because people don't know, so let's make a simple point. The

body

is made of 50 trillion cells, it is such a huge number that you can say it but you cannot imagine it. And every day, each of us loses hundreds of billions of cells. Every day, skin cells normally wear down. The entire digestive tract, the lining of the digestive tract from the mouth to the anus, is removed. This is a huge amount of clues. The lining is replaced every three days and I start saying, "Well, if I keep losing cells, I would die." if you can't replace them, of course you would die and I said yes, but then I said how can I keep losing cells and still replace them?
The answer is before you were born, these were embryonic cells that were giving you structure and function. Okay, after you're born, you still have embryonic cells in your body, but you're not an embryo, so we change the name, let's call it a stem cell because before birth I could do a biopsy and look, oh, here's an embryonic cell if I wait. . one minute after birth look at the same biopsy look at the same cell now it is oh no the one called a stem cell so stem cells are embryonic cells and they are there to replace all the cells that go wrong so my research revealed that I was clone stem cells and suddenly, what does that mean?
I mean, I put a p, a cell in a dish, a stem cell and it divides every 10 hours, after about a week, I have 30,000 cells in the petri dish because it keeps doubling and doubling and doubling well, here's my experiment and it was very clear. I took those 30,000 cells and now you have to recognize that they are genetically identical cells because they only come from one parent, so 30,000 genetically identical cells I divided. cells in three dishes, ten thousand thousand in each dish, so all the dishes have genetically identical cells, but we grow them in the laboratory, something called culture medium and we will return to this which is fundamental because what does culture mean?
I'll give you a hint about the lab version of blood, so if I grow human cells, I say what human blood is made of because that's what nourishes the cells and I make a version in a lab called culture medium, since that's what nourishes the cells. I am synthesizing culture medium. I can change some of the chemistry combinations, so I create three different versions of the culture medium, slight chemical difference and feed the cells and a dish. I feed them version one of the growing medium and the other, version two and the third disk, version three and the first plate. the cells form muscle and the second plate the cells form bone and the third plate with a different environment the cells form fat cells and here I am teaching in medical school that genes control life and here are my laboratory experiments to say that All of these cells are genetically identical.
How did one become muscle? How did the other one turn into bone? How did the other one become fat? It was like I was based on the culture medium and suddenly I said, "My God, personal destiny was not controlled by genes, it was controlled." by the environment in which the cells live and if you change the environment you change the fate of the cells so that you completely cancel the idea that the genes were in control uh and that is in the micro and in the macro, we, the humans, do you know like you? let's say 50 billion cells or something like that and our culture median is the environment around us now well, no okay, here it is and this is the really important part.
Let's look at the body as a Petri dish covered in skin. Why do I have 50 trillion cells under my skin? of a plastic dish there is a skin dish inside, but I have the original culture medium which is blood and I say that the chemistry of the culture medium, whether the cells are in a plastic dish or if they are in the skin dish , it is still the culture medium that controls the fate of the cells, so in the human body it is the chemistry of the blood that really activates the genetics in the cell and I ask: why is this important?
I mean well, what controls blood chemistry. Goto make an important point here and let's say the brain is the chemical and it puts things into like growth factors, emotional chemicals, you know, neuropeptides, things like that, adding, you know, putting them into the blood and then comes the bigger question. important, then the blood is the chemical that puts the chemistry in the blood the chemistry and the blood is the culture medium, so the chemistry, the culture medium, controls the destiny, okay, but then comes the bigger question important: what chemistry the brain should put into the blood, what chemistry and then comes the The answer is so impressive and the answer is this, whatever image you have in your mind, the brain translates it into complementary chemistry.
If I have an image of love, my brain releases wonderful things into my blood, like dopamine for pleasure, oxytocin for bonding with others. Growth hormone and growth hormone do exactly what it says, so when you're in love you're releasing this growth hormone which enhances your vitality and that's why when people fall in love they become so healthy that they understand, they say, oh , look how they shine, they are so in love and I say, this is blood chemistry that involves the behavior of cells, but I say, but what if I have a picture in my hand of something that scares me?
I said, well, you're not going to let go. I love chemistry, you start releasing stress hormones and factors that affect the immune system and everything I said, well that's a different chemistry, yeah, just like in the culture dish, different chemistry leads to different genetics. .activity and suddenly it says "Oh my gosh" your thoughts are turning into complementary chemistry which then controls your genetics and this suddenly says "well then if I want to change my genetics I have to go in and change the cells in the giant I said no has changed by teaching your thinking that's all you have to do yeah and I think that if people really examine themselves they already know that when I feel scared or stressed or anxious things happen in my body you know my gut starts to change or you have to go to the bathroom or you have a headache or whatever, and we know that it is a well-established scientific fact that stress also raises cortisol with all kinds of knock-on consequences in our body, so the fact that our thoughts change our biology.
I don't think it is, although it's pretty obvious. I just don't think people realize that having positive thoughts that will influence your biology, having negative thoughts, is interesting and that will influence your biology as well. Would you say Bruce in an interview? I heard you in the past. I think you said that 60 of these unconscious programs are disempowering and limiting beliefs that we have acquired from other people, sixty percent, yes, it's a huge number, and then I recognize, but that sixty percent comes from the subconscious, so the The individual who plays with that subconscious is the one who is not even aware that he is playing with his subconscious, so his life seems to be out of control.
Oh, I want to be happy, I want I have a great job I want to have a great romance I said that's conscious desires and desires conscious desires and desires subconscious habit okay, so how do we change it? oh, you know, that's the first question. I always remember a lot how excited I was. by the mechanism, you know the biology and how the chemistry was adjusting the genetics and all this and I would love to tell people about it and I remember that every time the lecture ended the first question was how do you change? It was like that time, so I had no idea how to change it.
I just recognized how it worked and it was very frustrating, but now, really, over the years in my studio, now I really understand how you change it and the idea is okay, how do you change a program? That was the problem, not how the conscious mind is changed, how the subconscious mind is changed because it doesn't learn. The conscious mind learns simply from what you read in the book. I learned it. Okay, not the subconscious mind. You don't learn that way I say how you learn I say well in the first seven years was when I said that the programming in the brain was not working at the higher level of Consciousness, it was actually a little lower which was called Theta the vibrate the imagination and That's all hypnosis, okay, so the first way we learned the programs was hypnosis because the brain function was not hot, low, you know, with a lower vibration, some people might remember the old days. during hypnotherapy they had a clock and the hypnotherapist would say, you know, move the clock back and forth and they would say you're getting tired, you're getting tired, uh, and what was the point when you get tired, you lower the vibration of the brain and By the time you consciously fall a

sleep

, the next level of brain activity is Theta before dropping down to the lowest vibration, Delta sleep, so every night when you go to bed, there is a period right after you close your eyes. eyes and You are essentially offline for a moment, your brain is operating in Theta, well, Theta is hypnosis, okay, so I said, well, this is how your brain was in Theta during that period of childhood, since predominantly now You're an adult, I said yes, but you have Theta every day. night when you go to bed so I said what can you do and this is the old story you've heard that people do it you put on a pair of headphones at night you play a show that you want to be true in your life and

while

you're awake , you might listen to the show, but it's the moment you fall asleep, the conscious mind turns off, but the subconscious mind is now on Theta recording, so it doesn't matter what's going through the headphones at that moment after you fall asleep, you don't hear it. but the subconscious mind hears it and downloads it in a state of theta, so the first way to change a belief system is to get into Theta and this is called self-hypnosis.
Put the headphones on, the program that programs for health, happiness, love, joy. whatever and just go to sleep, which is really cool because you don't have anything, you can't study here, you just play the show, I mean, you say when we're tired, so I guess that's the last thing at night, maybe the first thing at night. in the morning also the same, but it's a little bit harder to judge when you wake up than when you go to sleep, so let's say that the night, right before you go to bed, is a really important part of the day where I guess you can consciously make the decision to

reprogram

your subconscious mind.
Yes, what does this look like? Are these self-recordings that people make? I don't know, for example, are there hypnosis programs that they download or do people sometimes fall? asleep yes, two conversations like these, so help me understand, help us all understand, is it something specific or are all these things useful? Well, all of these things are useful, but the most specific ones are when you put in a program that you specifically want to be true. in your life you want to not have good relationships

while

they're uh these programs are available in every bookstore and online they're called self-help programs basically and I'm like, well, you can get them for anything, whether it's work-related, relationship-related. , you pick the one you want and then I say just play this and the point is that the moment you fall asleep, the only part of you that listens to that show is the subconscious because that's how it works. in Theta so you can download it it's called self-hypnosis and that's how you can do it, that's number one.
I'm talking about natural in a natural child. Theta is the current program for the first seven years and it is predominantly that, so there faith says so. We are absorbing everything, everything, but is that when we become adults? We are not in faith except at specific times, but you can still learn. You learn to drive a car after the age of seven. You know, you learned a lot, how to play an instrument afterwards. your age, so that's not hypnosis, is that right? Method one is hypnosis, yes, but it seems there are also other methods to change the program after age seven.
The second way you place programs is by doing something that you practice and repeat the practice. repeat habituation you create a habit by practicing it uh and then uh you don't know how to play an instrument you practice your practice your practice you finally understand it you don't have to practice anymore you can just pick up the instrument and play or drive in a car, you don't have to worry about all the details, the first time you got in the car, it was, my God, there are mirrors, windows, indicators, pedals, you know, paying for all the many things that you have to pay for.
Pay attention to today you get in the car you put the key in and start it and you are thinking about where you are going because the rest of driving is habit you don't have to think about all those things it is programmed automatically so habituation is the second way. I love it. You know, I just want to share a golf analogy here if you don't mind, because I'd be very interested in your perspective on this. I used to read a lot about choking yourself. I know when the best athletes would choke and you know there's an example of a golfer called Rory McIlroy, who was leading the Masters Golf Tournament a few years ago, he had a big lead and you know this is just one example. not having to go to Rory, this is common in all sports, where people are almost self-employed and for some holes he could barely swing the golf club, the really interesting thing is, as always, reading a lot to Bowser trying to figure out what's going on here, it's this conscious subconscious again where he knows how to drive the golf ball.
You know better than most people on the planet, yes, so you generally play from the subconscious of it. Bosses ruin. He knows how to hit the ball. from left to right whatever, but in that moment where it's like oh man, I'm leading the Masters, I need to be very careful now he's trying to think you know or something, this is what people say, I don't know what was in my head. but you're almost overthinking, now you're trying to control something that you could naturally do like you say driving, yeah if you were thinking about when should I hit the clutch or what timing is with the accelerator, do you know if driving a manual is the same kind of thing? things, isn't it like that at all, but in fact, when you're playing, you're playing it in the conscious mind in the sense that you have a vision?
I'm going to hit this ball and it's going to get into that hole over there is very important because there is a destination and there is a means to get to that destination. And this is really the most important thing if you focus on the destination and not the means, let the system be so powerful. It's going to get there without you telling it how to get there, but when you start interfering and saying "okay", now I have to make sure I turn it correctly, at the level of my head, my grip is correct and suddenly you're putting all those details is like no, don't focus on the details, you forgot what the ending was, the ball is supposed to go over and there, and that starts to creep in because now you're trying to control everything with you.
You know with this manual control and it's like no, uh, you don't have to have control in a way, in fact, that gets in the way of the body knowing what you want, you don't have to tell it how to get there, that's it. a big problem. in our lives because I want to be successful, like, oh, I have to do this, I have to do this, and I'm like, oh, you're planning all these things and your conscious mind isn't even anything, the subconscious is a million times more powerful. . a computer than the conscious mind, so I say you're going to take this little conscious mind and try to run the bigger computers like that, it doesn't work, you let go of the control and this is it, I mean, it's a self, it just came to me. the mind a lot of people say "let it go, let it go to God" or something like that there is a phrase that people always say and I'm doing fine, that's actually the way to do it, focus on what you want, but don't try to tell the universe how is. it's going to happen don't tell them I'm going to do this and this is going to happen I'm not going to just focus on what you want the intelligence of this super computer the subconscious super computer uh, it will handle it unless you put your hands on the machine I said hold on your hands on the machine Focus on where that ball is going I mean, he already practiced Remember I said we did The habit We did the practice, whether you're driving a car or playing golf ball practice Yes, start consciously and then move on. becomes subconscious.
I think all people can resonate with that, whether it's a 100 sports musical instrument, the same type of thing, so again, it's not that hard to believe that if you practice the patterns that you want after a while, they will automatically happen from this is exactly what it's about don't think about the details of driving when you're driving you know you just automatically you could have a conversation, you could be You often think and you're still driving the car, so what's an example of? You know, we mentioned that the first method is hypnosis, then the second is habituation, it's habituation, repetition and practice.
Do you have any examples of things people can practice? I can do it and do it well. I'm going toPractice this to start changing my subconscious behaviors. Well, this is exactly, you know, the interesting thing is that actors who are really good have a character, they read the character, they learn the lines, but you have to act like a character, okay, it's not just about reading the words. . You have someone like Renee Zellweger and she did the diary or something afterwards, yeah, and it's interesting because the character is 40 pounds heavier than Renee and when she got into character, guess what, she gained 40 pounds, she's conscious, you know. the show, okay, I'm 40 pounds when she finished playing the character, then the 40 pounds disappeared while she was in character, she became the character, Dustin Hoffman.
One of the great actors was playing Willie Lowman and Death of a Salesman, a very depressive character and he was brilliant at that, except he had to leave the theater and go into a hospital, a neurological hospital. because he got so depressed because he took on this person's character and what I'm trying to say is who you think you are is what you know you can get there, but now the problem is who you think you are and I Well, that's part of the programming when we grow up. Here is the biggest problem with the program.
I'll tell you right now. Parents act as coaches for their children. I go, what does that mean? I say, well, let's say a kid on a sports team is not doing well the coach doesn't say oh please try harder no, he says that's not good enough who do you think you are? You don't deserve to be on this team but this kid is older and he's aware when the coach is saying that the coach is trying to tell you to do better, that's what you should do. A child under seven is not in Consciousness, but a child under seven is on the registry.
So parents act as coaches That's not good enough Who do you think you are? You could do better than this. I say that the child under seven years old is. I'm not smart enough. I do not deserve it. I'm not good enough. That's a program. Well, they didn't understand the meaning of parents under seven because Consciousness was not that function of the brain at that time, I just registered and said, well, this is where the problems in our lives come from because parents want to help us, So they imagine that if they poke you you will do better without recognizing if the child is under seven years old, they don't understand what you are saying, but they are recording and then you say, well, then. 95 of my life comes from not smart enough, not good enough, not worth it, uh, I mean, if that's the program that's running, then the behavior will manifest that the program is not good enough. , not smart enough, it's not healthy, whatever it is, uh, and that's why we have to Recognize that we become these shows and if you want to change that's when I say oh uh, the new age that I always laugh at.
It's called faking it until you make it. I said, what does that mean? I said, well, you're not a happy person. Go. So what I'm saying is all day long, when you remember it, you just say I'm happy, I'm happy, no matter how miserable you are, you keep repeating it because repeating is habituation, practice, repeat, repeat and then one day you wake up and guess what. I am happy why, because once that program is installed, the expression of that subconscious will manifest that program. I noticed that when you walked into the studio two floors down, I don't know, maybe 45 minutes ago, something like that, he walked in with a smile, we were chatting and then you stopped and felt like you were intentionally spreading joy, love, happiness. , you made some really nice and meaningful comments to the two receptionists that put a smile on their faces and then you followed up with me, yes, that's what you're talking about about an intentional practice where you act the way you act like the person that you want to become, almost like you said about actors, right, you're trying and I know from your history that you weren't always like that, no.
Well, this has been a change and maybe later we can talk about it, but you have almost taken on the role of an actor, but that actor is not really someone outside of you, that actor is probably who you are innately and who . you're innately destined to be what I've become that you're okay that was all because I started to recognize that what I'm putting out is going to come back if I'm going to put out you know anger or something I'm going to receive something that resonates with anger. I'm not going to, if I'm angry, I'm not going to activate a happy person, but I will activate someone who will respond to the anger, uh, it's called resonance, uh, and what you put out will give you back what However, you post what happens , Bruce, if you are emitting that energy of happiness and joy to someone, yes, and for some reason they don't want to hear it, it is as if they are being directed by a different subconscious pattern.
People are not friendly. For me I am not worthy of a nice comment or whatever and they are not able to accept the joy and smiles that you are bringing out, presumably that happens from time to time sometimes, but you know? The most interesting thing is that people want to be recognized at some point, you know, and in the city everyone walks with their eyes on the street, our eyes don't look at other people and things like that, it's as if other people don't exist, but i do. I didn't realize when I lived in New York that if I just walk down the street and I can catch someone's eye and smile at them, that's all I do is just look at them with a smile, suddenly they just respond that someone recognized them as that person and that's what you know in a world where no one recognizes you, suddenly someone looks at you and smiles, it's like it's contagious, they start smiling all of a sudden and This is because we've been programming, you know, stay away or you know , no, don't participate and all that, and I go, well, that's where the big problem comes from, because when people are not part of a community, then they don't do it.
They don't participate as a community at that moment they are alone and people just want to be recognized and rarely does anyone resist uh uh, you know, hearing that, oh, have a wonderful day and something that, from the meaning, not just the words flat people have a wonderful meaningless day and so on again and this is part of physics quantum physics everything is vibration you emit a Good Vibration the only thing that responds to a Good Vibration is a Good Vibration the bad vibrations are at a different frequency, they do not If they mix with each other, they emit a vibration, they will recover what that vibration is, it is called resonance, so if you are an unhappy person and you are transmitting that the only person who will be affected by that unhappiness is another person.
It's unhappy because they resonate with the same thing, so suddenly I realize that when I started to change it's like being happy, just being happy and it's like people want to be happy, that's innate, it's like a child where children are born. love and then they pick up whatever behavior from their parents and things like that, but innately a child recognizes love because love means security, you know, repetition is so powerful, this network, you know, we become what we repeat ultimately. and one of the practices that I've done very, very consistently for I don't know, maybe five years now, I feel like most of the time it's become automatic, now is if I've ever felt frustrated or emotional or frustrated by the action of another person, let's say.
I would always use it as a mirror. Ideally it would be in the moment, but sometimes if you can't do it in the moment later that day, ah, you got triggered, you felt stressed about it, you were frustrated, what was that bringing up? within yourself and then instead of looking to the outside world to give you the answers, try to find the answers yourself and see well, and how can you reframe that you know that if you were that other person you would be acting exactly the same way? Okay, so how can you have compassion for that person and also work on yourself?
I feel like it's a very simple practice that only takes a few minutes each day and then you get to a point where you're like you're almost never there. I'm certainly not perfect, so it happens, but it happens a lot less. Now I rarely react to other people when they behave in a way that in the past I might not have liked. Now I feel like my default mode of being compassionate, oh yeah, well that's interesting, oh that's an interest, they have a completely different perspective on the world, so I do that instead of trying to defend a belief system and an identity. , so yeah, I've done other things like healing trauma and all kinds of other things that maybe you can talk about, but I really feel like it's that regular diligent practice to catch yourself when you haven't done well, to catch yourself yourself when you do well, being compassionate to yourself in any way and then really becoming a new person.
I grew 100 on that and I'll give you a very important fact. uh, I work on belief change programs with people and, um, when we get people to test the belief that I love myself, 80 to 90 percent of every audience won't do it. proof positive for I love myself I go, where the hell did this come from? Well, the first thing is being criticized as a child because you unloaded criticism, it's not good enough, it's not smart enough, it's not lovable, whatever it is that your parents were trying to help you improve. They made it worse because they put those programs on.
I started to recognize, my God, people if you can't love yourself then you can't accept love, that's the other very important thing because someone says they love you and you have a mind I'm not lovable, so you look at them and say, well, you know, you obviously don't have quality control. I know I'm not adorable, what are you saying? and you'll push people away and then there won't be anyone there and then guess. what you're saying look I'm not lovable there's no one here but you didn't realize you were responding to that it was a wake up call for me when I realized I wasn't loving myself and when you didn't love, you will sabotage yourself. yourself all the time because then you will manifest the truth look, I am not adorable no one is here and you didn't realize you chased them away now they are not here I changed that and that was the most critical moment because if I love you then I am happy with myself and many people She is not happy with herself and when someone else is unhappy then they are unhappy man, that is the residence that pushes them to stay in that place, remember that you will attract anything. you're sending and when I change that, my life changed, my life changed so profoundly because I can maintain, like you said, how can you maintain happiness when other people around you are not happy and the answer is because then you don't I don't connect with them , they can say their words or anything, but it has no connection with you because it does not stimulate unhappiness in me.
I am happy, so I suddenly said that they are unhappy. I can't resonate with that. because they send out that unhappy vibe and I don't have any receptors for unhappiness, so suddenly it's like I can walk through the world of people who aren't unhappy, but it doesn't seem like anything to me. I know everything because I keep walking, but what will happen is if I'm happy, then those other people will see that they want to participate, like I said, people want to be happy, people want to be loved, uh, and that's a drive and, however, our programming behavior. it takes that away from us and then we start resonating with the negative programs and we attract people who have the same kind of negative problems and then we're surrounded by this is not helping me all these people around here and uh they change and then all of a sudden I say look who is around me all these wonderful people how did that happen I go because now we resonate together and those who are unhappy do not want to be close to me because I do not feed their unhappiness with my dishabituation I do not feed them and therefore they do not get what they are looking for If they come to me with that.
I suppose one way people can pick up on and become aware of their unconscious patterns is to ask themselves how Talk to yourself: What do you say when something doesn't go quite right? Know? Know? You say something stupid, dumb, idiot, loser, you know whatever it may be and I say this, you know it, admitting that for much of my life I used to say those things to myself, but the key is that I used to, Yes, I don't do it anymore. I don't remember the last time I was hard on myself and it's yeah, but you can't, you know, I think the way I said it. in my last book it was you, it is simply impossible to achieve long-term health and happiness if you hate yourself 100.
This is very important because it is. I have a memory of a time in my life when that change was like a boom, like Someone flipped the switch because I was on the verge of being diagnosed with manic depression, well, happy most of the time, but once I It started to go wrong, it was like this is wrong and then I verbally abused myself, oh, crazy. You're stupid, you're not good enough, what's wrong with you? Lipton and I would be doing that and I was in my lab and I just went through a procedure that took about an hour to prepare for the experiment and if you mess it up just a little bit you have to start over the third time that day I messed up everything and now I'm so mad i spent the whole damn day doing this it didn't work and then i'm getting oh youour programs, we got together because of our conscious desires and mine, but once the programs of our family history and all that start to influence this, it disrupts the relationship.
I love these examples, let me clarify one thing, very aware. mind thinking Minds uh subconscious mind these kinds of pre-existing patterns and behaviors yes, right now I understand it when you are in love in the first weeks months years whatever of a relationship, everything is great, right, you don't see negative patterns maybe they are not there , maybe you are just choosing not to see them well, so you are fully present, so when you are in that moment, you are in love, you are completely present, you are not being guided by your subconscious patterns. So are you like your parents' relationship?
But you're not thinking too much either. What happens there when you're not thinking? That means your conscious mind is not looking inwards and if your conscious mind is now looking outwards it is interacting with the world and I say yes but what is a conscious mind desires desires aspirations what you want creative you have it then the mind conscious at that moment is relating to the world, but when you stop being present and relating to your partner in the world and you go back to work, stress and things, your conscious mind then goes inward, it is the right thing to do, It's the right thing to do and all, but hey, who controls the behavior while you're having these thoughts?
That's when the subconscious comes into action and plays the program, but you and I go no, the subconscious is not you, the subconscious is the program you downloaded, yes, and with relationships, I think this is a big problem because I think a lot of people jump from one relationship to another thinking that the problem was the other person exactly at this moment. Of course, sometimes a relationship isn't meant to be and probably isn't the right things to continue, yes, I get it, yes, but a lot of times we go from one relationship to another trying to find the right person without realizing it. that wherever you go, the same problem follows you, the same behaviors follow you, that's right, what is the pattern? and I think relationships are where this really plays out, so I think if any of us think about problems or disagreements that we've had with our partners in the past, like most of the time, it's these unconscious patterns, right? ?
Of them practically all the time are these unconscious patterns and you can clearly see in your partner which parent is playing well, but you probably can't see it so well in yourself that we go right back to the story of your subconscious. I didn't even see you, you said yeah, that's a story, you know, like I said, Bill, you're like your dad and he denies that he's there because when he puts on those shows he's the only one who can't watch them. when we play subconscious programs by definition, why are we playing these programs? The answer is because your conscious mind is engaged and stops paying attention to what you just said.
What is this third method of reprogramming our subconscious minds? It's Zoom, it's very new, uh, and since there's an old saying uh necessity is the mother of invention and I say well what is the necessity? I say that the human behavior of the Sciences recognizes the fact that human behavior is precipitating what is called the sixth mass extinction of life on this planet and the personal that implies well there must have been five six things that have happened since before and I say , yes, there was life thriving on this planet five different times and something happened that disrupted the entire planet to some degree on some of the five times ninety percent of the life disappeared, uh, the last mass.
The extinction was 66 million years ago, that was when there were dinosaurs. Here the planet was devastated, there were forests and everything, it was just thriving and a comet, a big giant comet, hit near Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula, the comet was so big that it disrupted the web of life and the Web of Life like a collapse, the dinosaurs 75 of Life disappeared, including all the dinosaurs disappeared and then the Evolutions we started again and today we are at a point where we are losing species a thousand times faster than before and it says estimated that human behavior is going to cause the loss of one or two million more species on this planet because we do not live in harmony with nature, okay, we are disturbing the balance that we face, so it is human behavior that is causing this problem, so it is interesting because we have to change our behavior faster, we can't just continue with the same behavior because that's what we are creating the problem with this behavior, so I said well what happened a new form of psychology has emerged called Energy Psychology It's not the typical cognitive therapy where you talk about, oh, this person did what my mom did this, my friend did that and that's why I'm here and you cry and you have tissues and you review your life and I say, it works. ". for some, but it's not so good because when you do cognitive therapy you were repeating all the problems you had, so you just press the button every time, like you know that's why all the tissues are there because you cry.
In all this I say that the new version is called Energy Psychology. I don't have to go back to find out how I got a program. I have the program. I don't have to go back and say who created that program. That? The incidents created who was responsible, that's more the cognitive end and I say, it's irrelevant why you have the program now, they're not here anymore, so I have to go back and say no, you have to deal with the program and I said what? is. the show, well, we talked about, I said just look at your life wherever you're fighting, it's not because the universe wants you to fight, you're fighting because your show, so now this is if I have to go back.
I say no. What do you want versus what you have? There is a process called super learning and you go to what is super learning. I can tell you how some people walk into a bookstore and can move their finger down the page of a book as quickly as possible. As they move their finger down like a boom, for a second or two, they read every word on that page, which is super learning. You could read a book in 15 minutes or something. If you can participate in the super learning process, then you can get a reschedule not in days, weeks or whatever, you can get a reschedule of your programs in 15 to 20 minutes, and after that it is completely different and that is because that we have to change our behaviors very quickly in order to sustain ourselves on this planet right now.
So energy psychology is a series of modalities that involve the process of super learning, and in that process, you can rewrite a program and walk away 15 or 20 minutes later with a different life experience. It's like a magical, miraculous experience that I wouldn't have had. I could write my books if I didn't reprogram my subconscious uh and suddenly I said well, where are these? Let me help people real quick. My simple website is

bruce

lipton

.com. Okay, so there I have a description of about 25 different modalities of energy psychology a little description and a website and for your interest and then just search for them and if you find one that appeals to you, visit their website and see what's going on, but for me, having experiences and understanding everything This and then experiencing it is like, my God, for me that is like a miracle in today's world because the habit of repeating things often takes repeating them, repeating them or even putting headphones on at night , self-hypnosis because it's only a short period that you have.
To repeat that over a night, or you know, a lot of times energy psychology you can have one experience and leave 15-20 minutes later, but I would definitely love to learn more about these different modalities of energy psychology. It should describe the benefits and that patents can potentially be rescheduled in 15 or 20 minutes. Yeah, what I like about that is that we haven't specifically mentioned trauma by name yet and clearly there are a lot of therapies where people can go back and look at their childhood trauma. previous experiences and they can try to go in and change them yes, now on a personal note, the one that I found that changed my life was something called internal family systems.
I'm not sure if you're familiar with that or not, no. I'm not Dr. Richard Schwarzen, what I love about this is that you can go back to a childhood moment in this type of process with the ifs therapist and you can literally rewrite the script in that moment when you go back, let's say it's Your 40-year-old self, you return to a moment that you can remember when you were seven and then you go in and rethink everything as if it were your strength to talk to your six-year-old self, understanding the situation by explaining it from both of you. sides and they have a very good research on this and it's when you go to sleep a new memory sets in and I've experienced this thing where instead of going on talking about it keep talking about it keep talking about it oh that's what happened That is what happened, actually, you can go back to almost writing a new script about what was a traumatic experience and then you just start playing a new pattern because you've rewritten that script and I appreciate that maybe it's not the same as energy psychology. .
I, I, no, I would listen to that energy psychology, right? Yeah, because it doesn't go through that repetition of let's go over it over and over again and because people kick you out, do you think that people can sometimes get locked into a pattern of looking at their trauma and just staring and saying, I'm not criticizing. no one for that. I just wonder sometimes we can stay there too long during the year because when you come back and play it over and over again. you are simply repeating the same trauma over and over and over again, so you are creating the habit of continuing the trauma by experiencing it over and over and over again. you know, just repetition, that's what we talked about about habituation, now you're just taking an old pattern and habituating it to make it even stronger than it was before, yeah, yeah, there's so many different ways, like the program you just said , these are shapes.
How can I shortcut the system and how can I get in touch with that subconscious to do this? And this is what we really want, we want to fix ourselves, but we always think it will change the world. The world is causing the problem. Look. you wake up in the morning you wake up and say today I'm going to be healthier today I'm going to find that relationship or a better job and you go out all day and you come home at nine, it didn't work and I said well what does the average person think about? about it they got up in the morning today I am going to be successful they returned home without being successful I said where do they think at that moment they are going oh man well that person interferes with me and this interfered and that happened and suddenly what are they saying I am a victim of these things that interfere with my destiny and then I'm gone, well, here's the part of the joke that you didn't realize all day you were playing the shows that manifested those things all day, so that takes away our power because it says: "No I'm responsible for this problem," all these other people are responsible for this problem because you didn't see your own involvement.
In this regard, what can we do as parents in those first seven years of life? If we have struggled, if we have overcome them, if we have tried to reschedule, we may have successfully rescheduled, but of course every parent would try the same thing. It is best to ensure or increase the likelihood that your children will not have to go through the same struggles. Do you have any advice for parents of young children? They will simply download anything you tell them if you start telling them the story they want. that they are you are intelligent you are intelligent you are beautiful you are powerful repeating this because remember that they are downloading these behaviors well and then when they are operating 95 of their life and they are defaulting to these subconscious programs What are these programs?
I'm powerful I'm capable I can do anything I'm smart because most of us fall foul of criticism It's not good enough Who do you think you are? You don't deserve this. I'm good. Both situations are. true any program you put on you are going to manifest so if I am going to be a father then I want my child to start with you you know we love you you are someone you know you give all the positive statements to that child like a baby even right after they're born like, oh, people think, oh, they start talking like a baby.
I say this child is downloading your words right now because the subconscious is a download and I say, what are you saying to this child? uh and that becomes critical because then whatever you're programming at this point will activate 95 of that child's life later on and if the child went past seven years because of course these seven years are critical, yeah, no. I want to put words in your teacher. I'm just asking the question: is it still worth changing these patterns and trying to help them download the same programs? Let's say they have eight nine ten.
Let's say they are teenagers. Yes, if you heard this conversation now and thought thatyou knew When my children were little, everything negative was self-taught. I kept calling myself a loser. They probably learned it from me. I don't want to feel guilty. There is no point in guilt and punishing yourself for it. Can they still? change it even if your kids are over seven years old, remember the second form of change was habituation, yes, so if there is no difference in the age they are at that time, if you habituate a new behavior, then that will unload it .
It takes a little bit longer, but you know, than before the age of seven, but still that's how you put a program into habit, you replace it, you know, repeat and repeat this becomes a habit at that point, what do you do daily? Bruce, is there a routine or practice? What do you do to stay in this creative, happy and content mode. I wake up in love. I just wake up in love. The rest of the day flows so beautifully that there is no more practice on my part. Why did I put those programs on? They run automatically.
I do not do it. I even have to practice it because practicing means I don't have the program and I want to do the program, but if you already have the program then you don't have to practice and suddenly you naturally wake up. you're in love naturally you're helping your partner your community your friends you're just it's natural so it's not like you let me work on this let me let me be you know let me be more affectionate with my partner it's like I don't I have to be more affectionate with My partner is already completely in love.
You know, it's like people say, I love you, you know, I love you more, so I say no. I always tell my wife, uh, how much love, total amount, is like him. gas tank how much love oh I'm full of love you can't put more love in there it's already full it's already there so practicing by definition means that something is not working and you want to commit to making it work and So you do a practice, but what if you already did you do the programming? Know? When I was with my partner Margaret, uh, I still had programs for my parents that weren't any good, but she knew about programming, I know about programming and this is the important part because if a partner doesn't know about programming, when some behavior appears unexpectedly, it's like, who are you?
What's this all about? But if you already know that the programs exist and a bad program comes along. It doesn't get into an argument, it can get into an argument, do you want to have this program? and then I would say what programmer, oh you didn't see what you just said or did you do it, it's like, oh, and I said, well, let's change the program and then we change the program, so what do you do over a period of time? You edit these shows and when it gets to the point of editing them, do I have to practice more editing?
I'm going, no, I already changed these programs if I'm here. A simple point: I said the conscious mind is desires and desires, the subconscious program less so. Yes, what would happen if you took your desires and desires and put them into programs? So the answer is, whether you are conscious or subconscious. I'm still going to the same destination, yeah, and that's the secret part, it's not a lifelong struggle, once the programs are set up, you don't have to work on it anymore, it's done, so it's not like I have I have to do this every day.
I'm going, no. Once it's a program, you'll automatically do it every day without even thinking you're doing it, it's so powerful. I really enjoyed this conversation. Bruce. This podcast is called. Feel better. Live longer when we feel better about ourselves. get more out of our lives and you have argued beautifully that if we can intentionally change these unconscious programs we can absolutely get more out of our lives. I'm wondering, right at the end of this conversation that I've really enjoyed, do you have any final words final thoughts final tips to share with people to help I guess improve the way they feel good yeah, it's basically just this is we are creators , we came here to create, but if you have been programmed, then you are not creating the program is creating and the idea is that if you can use your creation to put the program that you want, then you can manifest what you want in this life, that's basically it what it is and the idea is what we do. you're really looking for you know like I said a lot of people give me the money give me the money I'll give you the money you think it's going to make you happy and I'm going to tell you look there are a lot of rich people some of the unhappiest people I've ever seen in my life so it's not that, but we've been kind of programming, the competition gets this, you're going to have this, you're going to be better and some of the poorest people are some of the happiest people I've ever seen in my life and then all of a sudden I start to realize that happiness is not something physical.
I need to achieve things to be happy, you know, and I just have to say that I know life from both sides, but you know. My first years of training were I was programmed to be a scientist I was programmed to be educated that was my family just like in your family go ahead, get this education and I got this education I was not programmed how to be a happy person I was not programmed how to be a good partner, that was not part of the program and that is why I failed on that end, but now I have made up for it and the absolute truth is that I believe it with the greatest certainty that people think. you die and then you can go to heaven if you did it right and I say boy you missed it because this to me is heaven I say why is this heaven I say because this is where you came to create we are creating uh and and unfortunately we have been programmed to create things that we don't even like them so we are not creators we are just playing the program and if you understand it then don't waste this life because heaven on Earth is a reality is this and I didn't know it for 40 years but I live this every minute now and it was interesting that my mother got married when she was older, she remarried and she married this guy who I thought was a grouch and he was just Someone I didn't even want to be with, but my mother was happy, okay , but the story that was so interesting is that he lived in '97 and he had cancer and my mother took care of him at home and the last week. of his life, he essentially wasn't even there, he was just in a kind of coma and then two days before he died, his eyes opened and he was there, he was there and he said to her, "I didn't have anything funny and I thought, oh my god, 97 years old, he's going to die in a couple of days and he realized he didn't have any fun and I thought, I'm not going to come out like that, I'm going to come out saying oh my god, thank you for this opportunity to be here.
Well, we'll say that for a part C, Bruce. I mean, next time you're in the UK, I'd love to do a part two and go into more depth, but thank you so much for coming on the show, it's been a. pleasure, thank you very much because you are helping me, you are helping me do what I want people to wake up and realize the creative nature of Love Health Harmony, heaven on Earth because that is available uh and yet we struggle and there's no reason for this, thank you, thank you, if that conversation resonated with you, here's another incredibly powerful one that I really think you're going to enjoy, give it a click if you actually went to the In the gym of happiness several times a week you will have a happier life and the happiness gym is very simple, it is a set of skills that you must practice.
