Mikayla Nogueira LIED about this AGAIN...(LashGate 2.0)

Mar 22, 2024
Okay,

this

is really crazy, like

this

powder. I already hate it. It's about dust. Are you kidding? I have very dry skin. I've seen what I needed to see and this is just not looking at this. This is the most magical pad. I've used look it still feels and looks like skin you don't walk you run you run together Trust it's been four weeks since we've been talking about Lash Gate, what was supposed to be a sponsored post for a mascara turned into a much more conversation. wide. About Undisclosed Ads and False Advertising If you've grown up in the YouTube beauty community, you're probably used to certain expectations when it comes to beauty influencers, if a makeup influencer on YouTube would accept too many endorsements, especially for products that don't I necessarily love that those influencers would be seen as untrustworthy and people would not take their future recommendations seriously.

It's like what happened with Morphe Morphe was paying a lot of these beauty gurus a lot of money, so everyone was promoting them and shoving their discount code down people's throats. They always talked about how the products were the best in the world and how great they were, only for their fans to go out and buy morphe and realize that they weren't actually the best quality, eventually the influencers who were constantly pushing morphe were seen as sellouts and lost the trust of much of their audience. What we're seeing with this new generation of ticking beauty influencers is literally 10 times worse than anything the YouTube gurus were doing.

More Interesting Facts About,

mikayla nogueira lied about this again lashgate 2 0...

The beauty space on Tick Tock is full of undisclosed ads. Hidden associations and really sneaky methods to avoid proper disclosure. I want to say a big thank you to L'Oreal for being such a special part of my party and helping me out. You are the best. One of the most popular disclosure methods among tick tockers is to hide your brand affiliation behind your username (people really took notice of this when Michaela posted her mascara review revealing that you are a partner with a brand and a source. very small that blends in with the background hidden at the bottom of the screen behind your username is not appropriate. revelation and this problem is not just with Michaela, many Tick Tock creators are doing it too.
mikayla nogueira lied about this again lashgate 2 0
I've seen glamzilla do it. This drugstore mascara actually works from L'Oreal. It's her telescopic mascara. Let me show you in action. and even Nikki gives tutorials on this powder, this right here is the Maybelline super Sai 24 hour powder foundation when I tell you this is going to be my new persona for the next two months and I will say at least Nikki is putting up the paid partnership banner In his. but that's actually not enough according to this article on FTC disclosures for online creators. Here's what the FTC has to say about those little disclosure signs.
mikayla nogueira lied about this again lashgate 2 0
They don't assume that a platform's outreach tool is good enough. Many social platforms, including Instagram, have introduced brand association labels for sponsored content according to the FTC, however these built-in tools may not be good enough, their advice is to use these tools as well as your own clear and accurate disclosure. and, as you know, Nikki has been criticized time and time

again

for this. Things, especially during her YouTube days, she had to create her own disclosure system to let people know if a video was sponsored or not, you'd think that after getting called over and over

again

and doing all that work to fix it on YouTube, I would set an example for the new generation on Tech talk Michaela and Nikki are also very close, so I'm not surprised that Michaela thought she could get away with it when her friend, who has been in the game for a long time, gets out with his.
Similar things, even Tati recently talked about how different the beauty space is when it comes to sponsorships on YouTube versus Tick Tock. Well, one thing you have to remember is in the past if someone accepted a sponsorship it felt like a little bit. maybe they really don't like this like they attacked us, okay it was brutal, it wasn't funny, I mean you read it Guru Gossip, sometimes things were written about you, you would take it from all the different angles of the drama. Community, other influencers that I didn't like what you were doing or what you did, so initially there was a lot of push to get to a place where influencers were actually seen as a good pay to make money and it's kind of strange to have gone from this being. a career-only hobby and I've seen everything change and change again now that we're in this era of short-form content where, bless you, you can make some money doing minute-long endorsements, but we're all like Okay, okay, okay, no one resists, so as much as I don't want to jump on that cancel culture train and belittle someone for doing what they're doing and being successful at it, I also think there's got to be a stand up. flag of being authentic, not lying, makes us all look bad, so after last day I was going through some of Michaela's previous endorsements and noticed one very similar to her mascara a few days before the tab.
It just so happened that Michaela sponsored Maybelline promoting their new Super Stay hybrid powder. The first thing that struck me was how hidden her affiliation was. She wrote to Maybelline Partner once again in white writing and completely hid it behind her username. I will say yes. she put that paid partnership sign up but from what I know she probably added that after lash gate and like we just talked about it's not really enough ok this is really crazy it's literally just a powder foundation , look at the difference, it's the way I covered all my redness this way.
I've seen what I needed to see. Alright. This is the most magical pad I have ever used. It's the Maybelline Superstay. It's new. It's a 24-hour hybrid powder foundation and it feels like it doesn't exist. Powder on my face feels like there is nothing on my skin so I made sure my skin was really hydrated. I use a wet beauty blender because it actually melts the powder into the skin, it looks unreal under the eyes just this powder foundation but it still looks nice on the skin and apparently it's water and sweat resistant. Let me finish the face.
It feels like I have no makeup on. I love it. Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour Powder Foundation relies on Michaela to promote this powder and it's no wonder this video has gone viral. This foundation is a powder foundation but on Michaela it literally looks like a mask, it has super super full coverage, not dry or cakey, it looks great but a lot of people were not happy with the way she shot this video, people were saying at the beginning of the video it looks very different than the final result and they thought it was a little sketchy of them to cut the video every time they were going to apply the product.
This is what people said, she definitely put foundation on during the cuts, hmm, that's right. It really doesn't seem like the same product in the end. I would like to see them app

lied

without any cutting in the middle because the left side didn't seem to have the same coverage while you app

lied

it. It's so strange how it cuts strategically when you start. applying it and then reducing once you're done, but Michaela's fans completely sold out of this foundation, you couldn't even find shades on shelves for weeks, people were literally buying the wrong shade just so they could try it after her fans really They got their hands on it and started testing it, they realized they weren't getting those dramatic results that Michaela was getting.
What did I do wrong? Michaela raved about this Maybelline Super Stay Powder Foundation and in fact the brand that sent it to me already had it. A few weeks ago I tried it on this half of my face and I really don't know what I did wrong. It's supposed to be full coverage. Michaela said that she looks great under her eyes. I prepped my skin with primer. I'm not sure. What's happening? Someone, help me, please. This video is now full of fans asking what they are doing wrong, saying they wasted 16 and now feeling like the ad was a lie.
This is what people said. I bought this product based on your review and it definitely doesn't offer as much coverage. I bought it and it doesn't cover like that, you must be using a ton. I feel like this is also her pretending. I don't know, the video cut off while she was mixing the powder and the powder didn't cover much in the end hmm, it really doesn't look like the same product in the end, please tell me why other beauty influencers didn't get this result? I bought this in no way, at all. Continue as you. shows that you are definitely doing something else now.
I feel like I wasted sixteen dollars. I listened to you and bought it and returned it tomorrow. I've never tried anything so bad. I bought one and it doesn't work like that. I tried this and it doesn't cover like that at all. In total I put on five coats. I feel like you did more. I tried this and it definitely doesn't seem like full coverage. Just keep in mind that this product doesn't work for some, including me. It doesn't provide complete coverage like in the video. I was very disappointed that it didn't look like that. I bought it last night and it looks doughy and horrible.
I bought this and I don't know if they would have given you a better formula to try because mine probably didn't cover my redness why doesn't it look like that on me the paid collaboration says it all I've tried it and it's not even close to this I bought it and it I tried it and didn't even do a quarter of my face and threw it away, it's so drying and Cakey looking for highlights in every texture you have. I bought this and it didn't do that to my face. I just tried it and it stinks with almost no coverage and if you use more it ends up being cakey AF no way she only used the powder.
Bullshit, it doesn't look or work like that at all, how did you apply this? I tried applying it with the same method as you and it doesn't work for me, it barely covers the redness and is cakey and flaky, are we sure we did that? I don't put this on top of a liquid. I like it but I don't get this kind of coverage. I love you but I hate this product. I think for starters it only works on pretty skin and look. I don't know all the products. It will work for each person. I'm sure I could tell you some of my foundations that I recommend and some of you would say, yeah, I tried that and it sucks, but when the response is so overwhelming with people. not getting the same results as Michaela when Michaela uses words like magic when she hides her affiliation with the brand she makes it seem like she just found this life changing product okay this is really crazy this is the most magic that I have ever used it, it seems unreal before the eyes, I trust that people will expect a magical, life-changing product.
I decided to look up online reviews as well because I knew that makila fans would be under this video saying, "Oh, it's just people who hate her." people just say they hate it just for being mean to it but it really isn't, it currently only has 2.6 stars and people write don't waste your money this is the worst powder I have ever used and I have tried many. My face gets very dry, patchy and spaced like you wouldn't even believe it. It looked terrible right after application and only looked worse throughout the day. I've tried beauty brushes, blenders and sponges and it applies horribly with all of them.
Saw this on Tick. Tock and I were very excited to try it but it's a joke because it was absolutely horrible, do yourself a favor and throw your money in the trash instead of buying this product. The liquid foundation is wonderful, but the powder is garbage that we will never use. buy again zero stars, safe, don't hear the ticking. I was so excited to try this powder because of the ticking and everyone says it was God's gift to makeup but it really isn't. I have oily skin and it looked so cakey I can. I can't imagine it on dry skin, it sticks to weird spots and my smile lines show up like 10 minutes after application.
I've tried several different ways to give it a fair chance, but in my opinion it's not like that. I will not return the product at all. I'm sure if I received a defective product or if it was dry, even with a damp sponge it looked dark in the package. I was afraid it would be too dark on my pale skin. It looks like I use chalk. I'll return it, I'm not impressed. I guess. I will no longer take advice from social media influencers. I got weak on Tick Tock and became horrible. The problem of dryness cannot be expressed enough.
You need a disclaimer. Do not use on dry skin, even after serums and moisturizers. This is dry and you can see everything. crease not even close to the right skin color it feels so heavy I couldn't wait to take it off my skin maybe for some not for me I hate spending money saw this on Tick Tock like most everyone else I went and bought two shades with my own money I was so excited and wanted to love it but it's just not good the coverage is not as good as it looked online it looks like powder on the skin it's just a no for me horrible I was so excited to use them. this base due toI saw it on Tick Tock.
I am so disappointed with the result, it barely blends on my face and is causing spots. I'm embarrassed to wear this in public. I even went out myself and literally had to go on a scavenger hunt. for this foundation it was completely sold out everywhere and I ended up finding one at Walmart and let me tell you, I couldn't get this product off my face fast enough, it was literally showing bumps you didn't even know I had. Chalk, all I'll say. I saw a lot of people accusing Michaela of using some type of liquid foundation during cuts, but I don't think that's the case.
You can really get that kind of coverage with it, you just have to use it. a damp sponge and go in deep. Obviously, if you use a ton of product you'll get a lot of coverage, but it will feel gross and you'll waste product and money. Of course, Michaela doesn't show that she's just trying to make it look that good. as possible and that's why you don't see her applying it from start to finish. It looks like I'm not the only one who got those results because a lot of non-sponsored reviews on Tick Tock are storing a surface and people aren't.
I love it, we are doing it by tapping on the skin. Everyone says: touch, don't rub. I always do it, I just tap it lightly, press it lightly. How do we see each other? Can we go over that stain? Oh no, that could have been what did it. I feel like as soon as I put it under my eyes things got a little rough okay let's talk about it so there are definitely some spots where it doesn't look good look over here I can see some dust on my nose. they're happening and like when I try to blend it like nothing's happening like I can't make it go away um I mentioned it under my eyes overall much better than the first time however this just isn't how I look like it doesn't No I like to look dusty.
I feel worried about how it will turn out. I wasn't going to buy this. Not really. I thought it was going to be too dark for me, but then I watched Michaela's Rave review video and We're usually the same skin tone, so here we are, let's try it. I'll compare it to my Mac Studio Setting Powder Foundation after I've zoomed in, hopefully you can see what I mean, where the redness is. Looking around here in a way that it's not so much on this side and like I said, it could just be that Maybelline has less coverage or it's just one shade lighter.
I hope you can see what I'm seeing. in front of the camera in person, but Maybelline dries my skin a lot. I prepare my skin the same way. I have a dry skin day and at first when I was putting it on I was like, "Okay, and then my idea was to just stay put." like I sprayed it all over okay I feel like that was like normally I don't even want to know my lines are here and I feel like it was like I instantly aged no, and I repeat, don't buy this foundation. I know. it's viral on tic tac but it sucks, don't do it, it's not worth the sixteen dollars, okay, real quick, a little reveal we have before, see how it looks because I'm not going to waste much time today either. here, but I wanted you guys to be able to see the texture and everything up close.
I don't hate him, but I don't love him yet either. Anyway, I'll continue with the day and be right back. Wait, well, in a word, there is so much brokenness everywhere now. I mean, as you can see, the texture never improved and I was like an oil stain all day. I'm just watching Michaela's video for the powder foundation. I ran strictly toads, that is. all free sulking isn't cute I'm going to be honest you're completely transparent I'm not a Maybelline partner but initially look at them they pause so I'm not sure how they did it so they have this like At the time of full coverage really I felt like taking the product and she just applied it perfectly like that.
I don't know, maybe I feel like this is so excessive and wasteful. By the way, I weighed 12 pounds, so there it was. I don't like super cheap, um, yeah, can you see this like I'm under great lighting, like I have a Hollywood mirror and two ring lightsabers for me right now? Can you see these pores? It looks so textured and horrible at this point. I'm even glancing over at nikkietutorials, she did a sponsored post for this foundation and like Michaela the disclosure is hidden behind her username and of course she loved being addicted to full coverage so much that I'm this powder, this one here is the Maybelline super Sai. 24 Hour Powder Foundation when I tell you this is going to be my new personality for the next two months so like Michaela I pick it up with a damp sponge to really melt the powder into the skin this is a powder right? are you kidding?
I don't walk, run, run to get the I'm, I mean, look at it. Maybelline 24 Hour Super Saiyan Powder Foundation. She is that girl. Maybelline has been that girl and she will continue to be that girl. I'm obsessed and people are criticizing Nikki. I also write and notice how it cuts like Michaela and the product changes drastically like Michaela, it's not worth buying. I bought it and it makes my pores look horrible, unless it's my foundation underneath it's not worth it and honestly I find this all very sad. There was a day when making constant paid partnerships was considered a bad thing, maybe it's a Tick Tock format, but many people overlook the fact that many of the videos they watch are actually ads and then get upset when they don't. they do it.
I don't get the same amazing results and don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with making a paid partnership, but it should be with products you really love and believe in. I remember there was a time when viewers would actually be happy for the creators to get these marks. deal with companies that you knew you loved and had used before and that's how you shouldn't accept every single brand offer for some product you've never tried before and have to post the most obvious fake review you've ever given to the spectators. We lose trust in all creators and start to think that all reviews will be dishonest.
There are good creators who still only promote products they love and accept sponsorships from brands they truly believe in, unfortunately with the tick tock rise it has become. It's too easy to disguise a sponsored video and with short-form content you can quickly cut it and come back with an amazing result and no one questions it. This is just another example of why you should question everything you see online and really do your own research. Anyway, before you trust a viral review, guys, let me know what you think about everything below and I'll see you next time, thanks foreigner.
