We knew we had a lot of things to sort out and we were quite worried because we didn't want to fly to the US and come back to the UK and come back to the US to make appointments and stuff, so we tried to figure out how to do it in the US in the end we decided to do it there, just bite the bullet and pay for it because we thought we would spend the same amount of money on flights there and back minus all the stress of jet lag which was crazy. Obviously we're both delighted and it feels a bit strange. Just being able to talk openly about it with yourselves and friends and family and that's kind of like, yeah, it's been a strange few months, yeah, very strange, it's been yeah weird, trying to keep it a secret and cover it up, but as far as to pregnancies. To add one more thing for us, today I feel like a 10 out of 10 in terms of pregnancy. I feel like I got my energy back. I'm on week 14 so I feel like I don't have any of those nausea like weird symptoms like I occasionally get headaches but today is not one of those days so I'm making the most of it on this walk and I'm feeling very happy , Yeah.

I think the worst part of the whole experience was these dreaded mice that I keep talking about and oh yeah the mice, it's also the fact that mouse hygiene is just an example of it one night this is not on video one night I wake up with a little tickle under my pillow I jump out of my seat because there's a mouse under my pillow I wake up Emma and I thought there was movement and she said no I think it's just me don't worry let's turn on the lights , we look right behind Emma's pillow and there's mouse droppings and that's when we start losing our minds because having a pregnant woman in space with little rodents pooping where you eat and sleep is just not good for hygiene.

We felt a little trapped about that, yes, and because it was so early. I couldn't tell you openly about it, so we were dealing not only with the minds in general and in front of the camera and sharing that experience with you, but also behind the scenes there was a lot more stress than we were letting on. I think everyone That experience didn't really help with the sleep situation and my sleep has been very disrupted in general since I got pregnant so that didn't help and being tired would definitely feel like exacerbating a lot of symptoms yeah we wake up to every noise . all night long, yeah, um, which yeah, obviously, it got into our minds and yeah, it wasn't the best thing, no, I think something we didn't really realize about having a child is how much our lives would change. brains and, therefore, parts as excited as us.

And I can definitely talk to myself here to the contrary in terms of stress, worry and anxiety that I had never suffered before, but that came in full force because I was so excited to have and meet a little boy, but then the provider brain . It drove me to have to accept that we will never have enough. I will never be able to make enough money to support the family and it has been pretty crazy and exhausting. I lost my mind and almost had a nervous breakdown on this trip. Yes, it's almost a natural thing to respond that way, but I think right now we're basically working on reframing it from being scared and anxious, to actually very excited about the challenge, and just reframing your perspective in these situations is extremely helpful.

Hopefully we'll move before Christmas. I think it will be really nice to have a place to come back to close to friends and family between trips and where we can be living close to the airport.

We have a space to park our caravan, so we'll be ready to travel in no time. It may sound strange, but after about seven years of traveling continuously for us having a small base is like the holiday home of our dreams.
