So, Minecraft 1.2.5 has been released and that means I'm going to bring you up to date on all the new additions,

, changes and

more

for Core Tweaks and if you happen to don't know what Core Tweaks are, it's a Pack Picker resources that allows you to make subtle changes to the game like these D the active bar numbered at the bottom here of course the dark GUI and brewing stand 2 guide and many other subtle changes like brick variations behind from me here, so the basic settings are a website that you can interact with and we'll start this video with a quick tutorial at the top of the resource pack selector, you can select which version of Minecraft you would like to select your settings, already These settings are divided into different categories.

When you open one, you can start making a selection from the different packages; when you hover over a pack you will see a preview of what it does on the side, if you want to select everything within a single category then you get the Pickle button here and any conflicts between packs will be highlighted with colors and when you hover over the cursor over them, it will tell you what it is incompatible with. You can also change the order in which the packages appear on the side here to prioritize one over another and then download. The button is directly below this list and if you don't know how to install a resource pack after you have downloaded it, you can click this button.

It's a nifty tutorial that will walk you through all the steps to get your resource pack into the game. The other settings also provide data packs that make different types of changes to the game. Some of you are probably very interested in updating them, however, I have bad news. 1.2.5 has introduced some really big changes to the MBT command and data format. Because of this, it will take a long time to update all of these data packs from the previous version to the next and fix all the issues with them, so they currently have not been updated and I don't have a timeline for when they will be available because these changes are very massive and there are probably many unknowns to discover along the way;

However, the resource packs are absolutely fine, so let's look at some of the new additions and changes, starting with the aesthetic category which has precise scaffolding, so we use ropes and bamboo to create them of course, and that is not usually reflected in the texture, but with this texture pack you can see that your scaffold will represent the materials that were used to create it, so if you want that kind of consistency now You have the option: if you're paying attention to the caves at the beginning of this video, You may have noticed some extra texture and that was thanks to the moss rug with this resource pack, you can simply place it on top of another one. block and then you have the carpet overhanging The Edge so it's called Moss Carpet Overhang and the name explains exactly what it does.

It's a nice addition that may seem out of place at times, however, it looks pretty fantastic. This brings me to the next thing. package that is fenci fences that Mak makes fences and fence gates much easier to see by rotating the board texture and removing some of the noise that would generate, so now your fences and fence gates they can be much softer and, in my opinion, much

more

attractive. The brown lever resource pack that changes the lever to be like the dyed lever has now been applied to the vehicle hearts of a horse that has a saddle on it, so down here you can now see that it has that color consistent with the saddle that we have on the horse and if you are in the aesthetic category looking for different stems that have now been recategorized and moved to the utility section in the corrections and consistent category, we now have consistent smooth stone that makes the texture consistent with that of the lower slab. which was different from the other variations here on the website, you can see the before and after shot of these texture changes.
The consistent white decorated planter makes the non-art sides of your planter have that little lip at the bottom. and the hanging signs on top now have a consistency pack that adds the log to the top of the texture, so here you can see that instead of having the plank texture on top, it now has the logs . The Brighter Rim Armor Trim Pack increases the brightness of the rib armor to be consistent with that of other types, as you can see in the example, by default it is actually much dimmer and finally , if you use faster and nicer leaves this has been updated to now support water log texture for leaves also in the discrete category there is a new pack called No Cherry Leaves Particles and now that I've said it you can obviously see it , it will remove those particle effects from the game, so if you find them to be too much you have the option to remove them completely also in the discrete section smaller utilities have been updated so that the compass, the loading compass recovery compass and the watch appear smaller when held by the player in the fun category, there is a new package for suspicious sand and suspicious gravel, but I couldn't understand exactly what the change was.
Also from the fun section is the package that turns emeralds into rubies. This has been made to work with armor ornaments and there you have it, I must say it is very similar to the red option. with redstone, if you enjoyed my hermitcraft season 9 base then you might enjoy having this panoramic menu background which is now available on the website, it is in my hermitcraft bases subcategory and in options backgrounds, the new edition added is grass, and if you want to see how it looked, here it is, in the menu area in the Retro section, there is a package to revert the Alex and Steve the spol skins to their pre-1.20 textures and it has been read the old enchantment glow, it was removed from the site with the recent changes, but then added back so you can have that really strong enchantment glow if you want.
The next one is huge and is part of the terrain category. It's called Golden Savannah. Changes the color of the biome to this yellowish

golden

brown. That's absolutely beautiful, honestly, it doesn't affect the leaves as you can see here, but it does affect the grass block and the grass on top of it and to be fair, I think it makes the

savanna

look a lot more interesting. This is a really vivid change. but one that I would appreciate, of course, with basic adjustments, it is just an option in the variation category. We have a really interesting pack called varied

villagers

, as it says here, it will vary their skin tones depending on the temperature of the biome those

villagers

are in. so I spent a little bit of time creating a function that can spawn all the villagers, so what we have here are all the villager professions, including the idiots and the unemployed, and then we have all the different types of villages and even an unassigned village.
So you can see below we have the desert and the jungle which have the darkest skin tones and in the middle we have the cold which has the lightest skin tone so yeah this is a really cool way to add some variety. In the villages in your world in the 3ie category, we have 3i skull veins, they may not be as obvious from a distance, but once you get closer, you can see that the skull vein sticks out a little from the block with that 3D effect that it's cool and in the 3D door pack, now cherry and bamboo doors have been added, they got that 3D look and if you use the glass pack for hatches and doors, cherry and bamboo have also been added, the 3D elements pack now has a 3D tracker egg in your inventory.
The hanging signs and signs have also been turned into 3D blocks here in the peace and quiet mob section. Hives and nests will now make less sound if you use the quieter bees and similarly, with the quieter villagers, their workstations will now make much less noise. Also another great sounding feature of core settings is the ability to drag an existing package here, drop it and then edit it and there's a big reason to do this because there are absolutely tons of compatibility fixes here so now there are more packages that you can combine elements that may have previously conflicted and the same goes for corrections;
There are tons of them, so it's always worth redoing your resource pack to get all of these fixes and

tweaks

. Now we move on to data packs which as you know won't be ready for 1.2.5, but there are a couple of packs that have been updated since the last time I made a video, so firstly, errant trades for Hermits now have smaller beans and skizzleman and some of the hermit skins have been updated for this latest season 2, the most important being the more mob heads data pack, which is now version 2.2.4. If you're not on this one you'll definitely want to update because there are some big changes if you're not on I know this data pack adds a mob Head Drop to a mob so you can see we get it from the polar bear and this is the same for everyone the passive and hostile mobs in the game and I also just found out that polar bears chase foxes.
I didn't realize this and if you watch Hermitcraft you are aware of this new feature, but now when you place them on top of a block of notes and activate them, it will make a sound that represents that mob, unfortunately the data to do this. It is stored in the block, so it is not backwards compatible, if you update the package, new mob bosses created will have this, but old ones will not. The Wither boss was changed so that this boss drops 100% of the time and then 50% of the time you have a 50/50% chance of getting one of these two wolves and the angry wolf heads are no longer random.
The game can now detect if you kill a wolf when he is normal or when he is angry and lastly the red one. The sheep has been changed to make the aoka wulu sound and when 1120.5 hits you can expect individual heads for each of the different types of wolf and of course also the armadillo, and with that we come to the end of this one if you You have enjoyed.
