Building an outhouse! | Off Grid Cabin

oblivious to a new video today we are going to start a latrine. I don't think I'm going to do much because I don't know if I have all the materials, however, I might as well start. And I'll see where we get to it, but that's the plan for now, until I have some things to start doing the roof again, but I'm going to get started and, yeah, I hope you enjoy following me here, as you can see. We have the beginning of the latrine, it's a little crusty, you can see it's propped up and stuff, but so far that's what we have.

I did it off camera because there was a lot to sort out and figure out, making sure everything is level. but now that that's done, I'm going to start cutting the boards to cross the bottom as a floor and, uh, yeah, that's what I'm going to do. It's getting dark, but I'll continue with the

Today the goal is to finish the frame of this latrine. The problem is that I was late because I was helping my family at home, so we're not going to do much today, but we're going to make it. Some finished and I thought I would get some pictures for you because the videos are going to be slow for a while because my truck is in maintenance so since they are working on the truck all the time and I don't have money, it's hard to progress without money, so I'm just going to do a little project like this, um, so anyway I have something to play with.

I'd better start abroad, abroad, that's why I can't do anything. I built the front wall. where the door is supposed to be and I forgot to put a door on it, don't ask, don't ask how it happened, it just happens, so, take it out and reposition the boards. I guess foreign foreign foreign I built this front wall thinking It was going to be the front wall. I totally forgot to build the front wall taller so I could slope the roof, so now it's going to be a side wall and I'm just going to shorten it and move it. the studs around it make it a side wall, but yeah, that's frustrating here, we better do it abroad, abroad, abroad, well, unfortunately, even though it's dark, I can still work, without However, my hose has decided to unscrew the bit that attaches to the gun. a little problem because when it did it it lost all the bearings which means it no longer attaches to the gun and I can't use the compressor.

Oh, this stage keeps getting better. Well, I guess we'll end the night there. That sucks, well, well I'm back here after the unfortunate circumstances that happened last time with the hose, but I came back and bought a new hose, but I forgot where I'm staying so I borrowed one. For today we are going to try to finish what we started last time. We'll nail into this wall and get some support for the roof. Sorry, I have a frog in my throat other than that. Maybe I'll build the seat inside for the Outhouse and possibly even a sheet for the outside, but we'll see what we can do today, so I'd better get started.

I don't recommend it, although it is very uncomfortable. wobbly and probably not safe, but as long as I cared about that anyway, the frame is already done basically now I just have to do the exterior, the slats on the exterior walls and uh, and I have to build a seat, so we'll see how's it going, but uh, yeah, we're making progress, this is good, foreign friends, the latrine is not quite finished, we only have one more wall left to put the sheets on, but other than that, it's just the roof to put on that wall and then we can build. the seat, the door, yes, the house is yet to come.
