, so I thought I'd show you a little something I do have. and then you have this section here that's on the other side of my desk and these are the various

ed films, these are the ones that don't necessarily fit at the top they're not Disney, they're not Pixar, they're not Dreamworks, they're not Studio Ghibli, they fit in pretty well with the rest, so this is where you would find all the other things, like the independent films, you would find like the lighting films, the blue sky films, the Sony films, the Leica.

Movies, uh, works by Don Bluth and Warner Brothers and all that kind of stuff, they're all here, so this is my collection and it often gets bigger and bigger, but if there is any, then I would just put it here because I know . I have a bunch of

ed movies and I don't put them in any special order, these are just alphabetical as you can see, so get to the side where it goes right at the end. uh yellow submarine um it should be very soon that if I get more um it will definitely fill the whole area and by the way if you want as a little bonus you can also see what's on top of these uh dvds and blu -rays, so this is a cell of radigan production plus an autograph from john musker and ron clements and i would say in terms of animation memorabilia this is my most prized possession and then next to here you also have nicodemus. from nim's secret and this is another production cel that was used in the movie and of course here you have my baby princess daphne which is actually signed by don bluth and gary goldman but this is not a cel production, it is actually a special limited cell. cellular

I got something good out of this and By the way, before I continue, I would like to make an important statement before anyone writes their comments: just because I don't necessarily own a specific movie in my collection doesn't necessarily mean I don't like it. the movie now I know I said before that when it comes to my collection, a lot of it is based on my personal tastes whether I enjoy these movies or not, but that doesn't necessarily mean I don't have it. so that means I hate it and if I have it that doesn't necessarily mean I love it.

I just need to go and make that statement right away because I know there will be a lot of people who will break up. I analyzed my collection and you're going to write conspiracies in your comments like the anime doesn't have that movie that means you hate it if you review it, give it the trash enemy stamp and stuff like that so I just wanted to go and prevent those from happening. comments and post that big disclaimer. I also want to give some pro advice to any Blu-ray and DVD collectors regarding sleeves or sleeves or whatever you want to call it because I know there are people on both sides who collect with the sleeves or without the sleeves and as you can see in my collection, I now collect them with the sleeves for those of you who don't collect the sleeves, I just want to say that I do now.

Don't throw them away because this is really a case where one man's trash is another man's treasure and there are collectors who are such completists that they are willing to buy some of those cases because they could legitimately be valuable if you don't believe me, in I actually have a great example with this Blu-ray copy of Treasure Planet. Now the Blu-ray itself isn't that expensive, in fact you can easily go to Walmart and find it in the Bargain Bin for like eight bucks or something, but this case, it's no longer available, it's actually become a collector's item and no joke they can actually go on ebay and I've seen them for like 50 or even 60 bucks and sometimes without the DVD it might just be the case so great advice not to throw them away and save them aside so you can sell them because, once again, one man's trash is another man's treasure, and for those of you who collect them with the covers, there is a website that can really help you if you are really very completist and are willing to spend money on cases to really polish up your collection, go to blueraysforeveryone. .com I'll leave a link in the description and that's a whole website where they sell all kinds of DVDs and Blu-rays of course movies or just cases so you can upgrade it and change things so they can hold two, three or four records at the same time, but the most important thing is that they also sell sleeves and even if they don't have the one you want available, you can write them an email and tell them which one you are looking for. and they'll actually go and explore them for you where one day they might write you an email and tell you that they do have it or you can check their website to see if they have it available so that's a website that I highly recommend you go to and see if you really are that complete because I know it certainly helped me a lot in terms of completing my collection to make it look as complete as it really is now that I covered the DVDs and Blu-rays that I have here, uh, now it's time to literally go to a whole cabinet full of DVDs and Blu-rays or at least mostly DVDs and Blu-rays and we'll look at them, one by one or at least row after row, so the first thing we're going to look at is my collection of live action movies and this is actually something I do every time someone watches my DVD and Blu-Ray collection for the first time, of course they're going to start by looking at what I have here on my desk with all the animated movies that I have and almost instinctively I would tell you right away, my live action movies are here, so Just to point out that I don't just collect cartoons and stuff, but yeah, as you can see, of course, it's good, it's not Like a lot of movies, it's just a queue, but they're mainly the ones I really enjoy. uh and also uh the ones that I find are also essential items to have uh and all that kind of stuff, but it's like a mix that you can see here of just DVD and Blu-ray and by the way, yeah.

Although I'm not a funko pop collector, I do have funko pops like, by the way, the vast majority of the ones I have are Mickey Mouse, and besides the ones you see here, there's also a small section here that are literally just muppets or al minus the works of jim henson and uh, I pretty much have, if not all of them, but the vast majority of them, so of course the muppet ones are all blu-ray, so from the muppet movie to the end . to the muppets most wanted and then of course we also have the dark crystal maze by jim henson and this little DVD that has a mix of Jim Henson's other works like you have the dark crystal maze and also the mirror mask as well that's something that Unfortunately I couldn't fit into all of this, but eventually I would like to make a small section dedicated to DVDs and Blu-rays of Jim Henson's works and most of them are the Muppets now, if we go down one row .

You'll find that these are all the series I have on DVD and Blu-ray and you'll notice in this one that I actually have most of them on DVD instead of Blu-ray and, by the way, speaking of Jim Henson. I also have another little row here of Jim Henson stuff and you'll see it's relatively small, but it's just dinosaurs and muppets from Fraggle Rock and these are the ones that are full seasons or full series grouped together. together and I have a bit of a mix uh a lot of things like this are not necessarily just animated things uh you will find that a lot of the there are some that are live action like I have cosmos here uh technically yes I have This here I mean technically no it's really a series, but I mean it's a TV thing, so it counts there and honestly, okay, so I also have the strange show Al, oh and uh, on a side note of course.

You may notice that I also have my tsum tsum collection. That was something that I loved collecting recently, which were tsum tsums and it's very unfortunate that Disney decided to discontinue them because they were so much fun to collect. I actually enjoy them and of course like you have the main ones that are at the bottom there's too much to fill in this area so the main ones are privileged to be here and if they're like I want to go and expand my tsum tsum collection. If there's one I'd love to get, I really want to get the Dream Finder one and the product one, but as far as I know, they're stupid expensive on eBay because they've practically become a rare collector's item, oh, and I have a uh tsum tsum more to show, actually, technically it's two, but I have a taxi driver here because technically it's a combination with uh roger Rabbit and jessica, but instead, from roger and jessica. they're here uh, I put big al from the country bear jamboree because big al is amazing uh and also on a side note, you can notice the same thing as with the way I organized the Disney animated movies and the Pixar and Dreamworks stuff, they're all in chronological order of their movie release dates, by the way, okay, now that we've done all this, it's time to move on, uh, down a bit to a continuation of the DVDs and Blu-rays I got .

TV shows or in this case just DVDs and these are completely dedicated to just the Simpsons and Family Guy and the reason I have so many of these is because during my teenage years there was a period where I was obsessed with the Simpsons and the family. type where I watched them religiously like every Sunday, when they were on Fox, I had to go watch the latest episodes of The Simpsons or Family Guy or every time I saw them on TV, I had to put them on immediately. but then of course I finally stopped and that's why technically I don't have them all as you can see with the Simpsons I got from season one to season 14 and then you also got season 20 when that was released and then also you have the family guy, I only have seven volumes, I think not, nine volumes, actually, so I have a family guy group along with, of course, the DVD that they released of Cleveland. show because I actually watched it believe it or not so there was that and I mean during their early days when they become good they become amazing so that's why they really have value and they're worth keeping so that's why I have such a giant collection in this area and then there's a little special section that's actually right here and what you see here is actually a bunch of special

s of movies and there's some of them that are like like uh, the essential elements that I have, like, some of the most important movies that you should have in anyone's collection, you know, things like uh, the wizard of oz, you have Willy Wonka, you have Cecil B Demille, the Ten Commandments and you also have Monty Python. and the Holy Grail, but at the same time this is a collection for a film compilation, so of course this is another one that you can count as essential, like I have the Godfather collection where you have Godfather one, two and the one who should not be named. uh, you have a whole collection of different mel brooks movies, uh, you have this one that is, uh, wait, I don't know what this is, I know someone sent it to me, it's uh, uh, rurouni, uh, kenshin, so I got the trilogy of that and then of course I got the Cornetto trilogy, but besides that, if I skip past Monty Python, I also have the complete Quentin Taratino collection or at least the complete collection from when this thing was released from reservoir dogs. to jenga one chain so I have that and by the way this is all on blu-ray so this is also another important collection that I have because sometimes it's fun when you get special edition stuff because it doesn't It just comes with the movie itself, but also with many small bonuses like this Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

On top you have like a bunch of little animals and in fact you have a little launcher so you can move some of them. of animals like pigs, ducks, sheep and then lavash, we're almost there now, it's your turn to go get a lavash, so I finished this side, I'll go and go down a step and you'll see. here this is a bit of variety here where on the one hand also in my adolescence I used to collect DVDs of a group of comedians doing stand-up comedy and you will notice that I have some favorites like I have russell peters I have robin williams of course I have john panette gabriel well just one of Gabriel Iglesias and I also have Chris Rock and uh right in the middle by the way this is actually one of the treasures of Disneyland and then you have On the other hand, these are the documentaries that I have, most of them are DVDs and you have a Blu-ray with Hayo Miyazaki's The Neverending Man, but these are also the ones I love watching, especially Sleeping Beauty Awakens which I used. a lot, but actually give me a second because you can notice that on the other side there are a lot more DVDs and Blu-rays right behind it, so give me a second. just get this out of the way and this is what's behind those DVDs and, As you can see, this is like a little DVD and Blu-ray compilation of everything else, basically, if it's not a TV show, if it's not a movie,so basically what I have here is like a mix of TV specials, episode compilations that aren't technically a full season, you have animated shorts, cartoons and a lot more, so this is just the little extra bunch that goes here .

And I know they would make a lot of them, so I decided to go and put them all in one little place and, one more thing, like I have other Walt Disney treasures, by the way, it's actually right here and This is the Oswald one, I think and, well, the reason I just want to point it out specifically, but there you go, this is Oswald's and the reason I want to point it out is, like, it's me. I'm not in a rush for this, but technically I know that in the future I would like to get a lot of these Walt Disney treasures because so far in physical form, those are the only ones you can get that include Mickey Goofy Donald cartoons and many more. many more, that would be an eventual goal I would like to achieve, but I know it will be a considerable investment because these days they are rare collector's items, but it is something that is within my potential. wish list and technically yes they would actually go here because I also have all the Looney Tunes and I have some other cartoons as well as the recent tasty tech one here so that would be a nice addition.

I would like to have and I have one more little area to show you and it's right at the bottom, in fact, it's almost touching the floor and that's my anime section. Yes, I actually have a small collection here of anime. You can watch here or technically Japanese animated programming, both movies and television shows. I start here. This is my small collection of anime series and I have some of the essential ones of course, like Cowboy Bebop Death Note and Full Metal Alchemist. I know it's a small batch but these are the ones I have and believe it or not, each of the anime series was sent to me via what's in the box so I didn't pay for any of these.

I just got them by chance and it's nice that I also have some of the bigger ones so that's a plus and then well most of them I got on my own and these are the Japanese animated features that are technically not a studio jeebly, like they're not from uh hayao miyazaki or someone like that, so everyone goes here and there's some mixes like it has some of the uh like uh based on tv shows like it has pokemon and on the side like right on the edge I have Yu-Gi-Oh the movie um but then the rest I have uh some of the acclaimed stuff um which I like a lot of them of course they're from g kids which I do have um but Yeah I have a little Japanese section here and I mean this is not just for DVDs and Blu-ray, even right behind.

I also have some mangas like the one I have, uh nausicaa. I have Death Note right behind me. i got azumanga dayo and um and then i also got this giant osamu tezuka book it's ridiculous like this thing is bigger than some of my dictionaries that i have i don't know it's like i'm not used to seeing a book that's that big and It has so many pages, uh, but there's one more collection I could show you as a little bonus. I have my small music collection here. These are a bunch of CDs that I have and, um, in terms of music. like I don't necessarily like physical copies, I would like to have a complete collection, uh, this is more like a coincidence, that I have a lot of these throughout my life, so, these are the ones I have, the only ones that I have.

I would really go out of my way to go look for Disney movie soundtracks, for example, if they're like the legacy collection, uh, if there's some really good ones that I want to have or if there's weird stuff, actually, like if there's a band strange sound that was thrown around like I was surely getting it, in fact, that's why I also have this great thing, this is not a real accordion, this is not a real accordion, it's actually a complete collection, it's like almost everything . Weird Al Yankovic discography or at least um as of 2017 or 2018. This is like the entirety of Weird Al's discography.

In fact, they call it the compression box set, the complete works of Weird Out as I remember when I saw that on first time. was reported online. I knew I had to go and get it. It was a considerable investment, but I'm glad I got it as a true, rare Al fan and that's pretty much my entire Blu-ray and DVD collection. I have a pretty large collection as it is, but as a collector, I'm someone who admires the art of physical media, especially with DVDs and Blu-ray, I'm honestly very proud of this collection I have here.
