6.5 PRC - Getting Started With Reloading

Mar 13, 2024
Alright friends, it's time to start recharging for 6.5 prc. Here is a piece of brass prc with about 300 win mag on its left and about 6.5 creedmoor on its right, so the case is not much longer than the creedmoor, around 100k or so, but. It has the girth of the 300 win mag so short and fat that it holds about 10 grains more powder than the 6.5 creedmoor, so at creedmoor many of our load weights are in the 40s and with the prc they are in the 50s, so the test rifle for this cartridge will be my savage 110 precision. I bought it chambered in 300 winchester magnum and a viewer named kyle sent me a 6.5 prc savage factory barrel that had been removed.

Many thanks to kyle. For the barrel, I made a video on how to change barrels, but with some of the videos I've removed here on YouTube in the past, I don't feel comfortable posting them here, so if you want to check it out, you can go. Go to my Rumble page. I'll have a link in the description for that, so where we'll start this video is with a weapon that's obviously been traded. I already shot it and tested it. I shot a couple groups with Some factory ammo they cited them on all of that, so that's our starting point as of today.

Questions about how I got here are answered in the Rumble video. I also need to say a big thank you to Thomas who sent me two boxes of factory ammo. new box of brass for mouthpieces which brass is practically impossible to get at the moment so this stuff is priceless and he also sent a bunch of single fired brass 100 pieces of hornady brass so big thanks to Thomas as if I don't. I think I could start the project right now if it weren't for this, brass is extremely hard to find so these 150 pieces he sent should be enough to keep us going for quite a while.

Many thanks to Thomas and Don. Don't let me forget my Patreon followers, channel members and Super Chat donors, Twitch subscribers. I sincerely appreciate all the support so today's video is going to be a lot like some of the others I've made every time I get into a new cartridge I like to try a lot of different things so I pulled out 10 different bullets and 10 different powders, I lined them up here on the bench and we'll go over them in more detail here in just a few minutes, so the brass I've already covered, we've got new muzzle brass in the barrel swap video, we shot some factory ammo, so I've got fired brass that went off in my gun, obviously, and then we have the brass. that was shot with Thomas' gun, so that should give us a good variety to play with here during the resizing process because I want to carry all three, the three types that we have, so for the dies I ended up choosing the hunter die reading teacher. set and the main reason I did it is that I have never tried one of their competing cedar dies.
6 5 prc getting started with reloading
This is the reading competition series, so it's obviously micro-adjustable and has the little spring-loaded cam-type setup that you know your case holds. in alignment during the seating operation, much like the Forster ultra micrometric seating dies that I have used quite a bit, so I'm looking forward to trying this type out, we'll take it apart and take a closer look at it when we get to our bullet seating operation. So this kit comes with one neck size die and one full size die and these are standard dies. These are not bushing type dies. They have a standard expander ball, so if we compare this Master Hunter set to one of the standard deluxe reading dies. sets, as far as I know the only difference is that you get the elegant cedar, where this one comes with a standard seat die.
Now these kits are quite expensive. The last cartridges I have bought. I just bought quality custom games. or sometimes some rcbs games and they work very well. I especially like them because you can buy seedlings. This is a six millimeter seat stem, but you can buy different seeding stems for different bullet shapes and stuff, so just throw it in now. The set comes with a big warning that it is not suitable for placing bullets on compressed powder charges, doing so can break the free floating cedar and scratch the slide sleeve, leaving them both unusable, which is exactly the problem that I had with many of the Forster Ultramicrometer Seat Dies I mentioned a few minutes ago.
I've broken a lot of the seat stems on those, so I guess we'll have to be careful with this one, so I think that's what we need to talk about the most. so it's an extremely simple refill as far as the procedure and the process and all that. I'm not really expecting any surprises so let's go ahead and look at the load data I want to shoot from the 85 grain varminter sierra which is an extremely light 6.5 millimeter bullet to the 147 grain hornady field. Now there are some even heavier bullets that have come out in recent years that I just don't have on hand to test. 150 grain Sierra Match King, I want to try there's a 153 grain Hornady Atep and there's a 156 heavy burger or something so eventually I'll play with some of those heavier bullets but this barrel has a one and eight twist and I'm not sure if we will run into any stability issues, we will see how the 147 grain field match performs today.
I'm just looking at the bullet points first and going through the list and picking out the ones that are interesting. They are all interesting, that's why I chose them. I've had a lot of success with some of these in the past. A couple of them will be my first time trying mainly the 135 grain hornady. I haven't shot that. bullet before, but most of the lists are, you know, they're old favorites, we've had success in 6.5 creedmoor or 6.5 grendel, so we have a line of quality bullets on the powder side, nine of the ten are exactly what You might expect these to be the exact same powders that we use in 300 Winchester Magnum and then with some of the lighter bullets we get a little bit faster like the 4451 imr with 107 grain Sierra Match King, but there is a weirdo and that's precise, precise, 5744. it's an extremely fast burning powder.
I originally bought this powder for 300 blackout. It burns much faster than anything else we're shooting today, but every time I

started

looking at load data on the Hodgdon website I saw this pop up as an option for the 85 grain Sierra varminter we're shooting today and also the hundred and wait, I don't remember which one was 143 or 147. Yeah, so they have load data for the hornady field match of 147 grains with 5744 accurate. Now reduced loads are not uncommon and there are a couple of powders that are really good at that and I have heard that 5744 was one of them, it even says it right here on the bottle, the low bulk density and superior ignition characteristics make The 5744 is an excellent option for reduced loads in many rifle calibers and high capacity black powder cartridges, like blah blah blah, but what caught my attention in the loading data for the 85 grain Sierra Varminter is This is the highest speed option.
They show 4350 Accuracy, 5744 Accuracy and Mag Pro Accurate and this gets the highest speed. I have no idea how it is possible. Just look at the maximum load weights. The maximum charge 5744 is 42.8 and the other two powders are 62.8 and 69.3 respectively, so that's 20 grains less powder than something a little. It's more normal for the application and we are still

getting

the maximum speed. I have to try this. I just have to try it. That's why you'll see that the weight of the load looks a little ridiculous. We're shooting 40 grains. of 5744 with that bullet and then all our other load weights are in the mid 50s 50 something grains now the low availability of data is really good the sierra manual has a lot of data the hornady manual has a lot of data the website from hodgston has a lot of data.
The mouthpiece website had some good data, so I was able to find exact recipes for almost all of these things. There was a couple that I was just, oh the other one, the vitivori, as well as 135 grains with vitivoir at 565, that data is from the vitivori website, so the 140 grain gold spear point that we're shooting with 54 grains of 26 reloader, I just made it up looking at other 140 grain bullet loading weights, the 123 grain lapua sinar. I didn't have any data for the vitivori website. I think it only came down to 130 grain bales and that would have been the most likely place to get data for a Lapua bale, so for that one I'm using Sierra Match King data and I think it was the same way with the Lapua burger. 130. grain burger hybrid, so you know, check out my work here as I mentioned, there is no shortage of load data available so you can trust and consult better sources than just a cat on YouTube, so the maximum total length standard for this The cartridge measures 2.955 inches, that's sami max.
The Precision Savage 110 has a huge magazine, so we're totally ready to go as long as we need to, but looking at a lot of the jump numbers, it doesn't seem like we really need to. The light bullets that the 85 and 107 are going to have are 178 thousandths of jump and then 115 thousandths of jump, some of them are just because you know the bullets are too short, we couldn't go any further if we wanted to because we need to keep that contact between our bullet and the neck of our case, we can only go so far, but as soon as we get to 120 and from there on, our jump numbers are pretty reasonable, so you'll see that most of them are right on that. 2.95 or a little shorter, so that seems like a good starting point.
Now I went ahead and bought a modified housing that screws onto this tool. You drop a bullet in there and there's a plastic plunger that allows you to move it. Move it forward to chamber this, then we push this forward until we fill the bullet, hit the rifling, then we squeeze it here, take it all out. The bullets usually get stuck in the lands and you have to use a cleaning ramrod or something. to free it, but you put it all back together and then take the maximum overall length measurement with the tool, these are fiddly and a pain in the ass and it takes a lot of feel, you have to take a lot of measurements to do it.
Make sure it's reading correctly and you've pushed the bullet all the way to the bottom and all that so that's where those jump numbers come from so for the primers I'm using federal gm 215ms and that's our plan so the first step . in our loading process will be preparing our brass to resize our brass. Let's do it, so the first four rows here, these 20 pieces are the pre-fired brass that Thomas sent, so this stuff is in perfect condition, but it was fired from his rifle and there is no chamber in my gun, we tested it in the barrel change video so the entire size needs to be changed so I want to go ahead and spray some lube on these 20 pieces so they have some time to dry while we play with the other stuff I'm going to use this case rcbs slick this works quite well.
I had luck with hornady one shot. I had luck with homemade lanolin lubricants. this right here. Imperial size coloring wax works well in many ways. to lubricate the boxes, but a couple of sprays with this, flip it over and try to make sure you get the angle right so that it goes a little bit into the next one and we'll set it aside to dry now and go back to the rest of our brass we have 15 pieces of new mouthpiece brass and most of the time, every time I load in new brass, I go ahead and run it through a full size die just like we're going to do with that other batch that we just just lubricated , sometimes the necks will get dented and bent and all that, and it's important to round them off again and I usually use the full length die in case you know, in case the new brass isn't small enough.
For my application now, this new brass fits without problems in my camera, I tried several pieces and also with this brass mouthpiece they sell it completely prepared and ready to load. Case mouths are beveled and deburred, visually inspected and graded by weight and even flash. the holes are deburred, so I've always heard that the brass on the mouthpieces is made by norma, that norma is good brass, so nosler is like buying norma that has already had that crap done to it, now I want to go ahead and resizing these collars even though I know, as I just mentioned, it's probably a waste of time.
The last 15 pieces are the brass that I collected that was fired from my gun, so this came out of my gun and will go right back into my gun. It's actually the perfect size for my camera now, so our die kit came with a neck measuring die, so let's move on to the next size, just to test the die. I don't do much neck sizing, I usually always stick to three sizes, but we have a shiny new one. die, we might as well try,Sometimes if you let it sit for a second or two longer, it will figure out on its own or If you take the pan off and put it back in, it will eventually get there.
I'll look at two more and one more, so today looks pretty good to me, so our first load is 40 grains of 5744 exactly, so I'm going to pull a little bit. I'll probably take them straight out of the container, so this is a really dangerous time. I've got all the rest of the dust off the bench and I'm going to be careful as I go from dust to dust, you know. from the load weight to the next load weight constantly checking the paper notes that are here in front of me because it's easy, it's easy to get distracted, confused and I want to avoid that, like hitting my tripod with the wheel of my chair.
The most important tip is What I can give if you are using a cheap scale like this is to put the empty tray on it very often, so I have a big leaf scoop here, let's see if we can weigh 40 grains a little bit more, I mean . I could pull out a dropper, but since I'm only doing five charges per powder, it seems like a waste. I think I have the setting high enough that our target total length is 2.620. Okay, I don't think the seat. The shank is making contact with the bullet. Yes, I see, I can turn the seat stem or turn the adjustment right now.
Lower it until you feel resistance. There it is, it wasn't too much. I'm going to drop the ram a little bit and then. go down maybe 50. and we'll see where that puts us yeah right now the bullet is barely there and it's right at 2.8 inches so let's make a big adjustment here 180. okay that's 180 thousandths let's see if that gets us closer at 2.631 that's about 10,000 long, now these particular bullets have quite open and irregular hollow points, so we'll see a big variation in overall length just from that, so let's look at the second one and then compare it to 2.631, okay, I'm going to go ahead and go down 11 thousandths.
I think the last one was also 2,631, right? Yeah, I'm going to go down 11 thousandths and call it good and then run these first two back. Before we move on to the other three, well, those are our first five rounds of 6.5 prc. Well, done with exact 5744, it comes off the table and the 4451 imr is next, so this time the load weighs 54 grains and the process is exactly the same, so I'm not going to force you to read every load weight here, but I'll keep you posted if interesting things happen, so I decided to weigh all my loads before putting in more bullets and I'm almost done, I'm down. down to my last rotumbo powder and i don't have much experience with retunbo but i was

getting

ready to pour some in here and i noticed a big clump, let me pour in some of the loose stuff, maybe there you go, you see how.
Lumpy, that is, I looked around a bit and apparently this is very common with ratumbo, so I just shook the can a little to try to clear it up. Looks like that worked. I'm interested to see what our speeds look like and if they are consistent. We'll see how it goes, okay, five more loads and then we'll put a few more bullets in, so the first load with 5744 accurate is obviously a lot of empty cases, 15 grains less than most of our other load weights, but all the others were consistently good, I don't think any of these are going to compress or if they are they will be very light so I need to back off our setting a lot and our next row is 107 grain saw.
Match King, so our goal is a total length of 2,850, so let's see where this puts us. We definitely seeded the bale a little bit, so I'm missing 135,000 or 134,000 shorts or longs. Sorry, okay, so I just dialed. at exactly 134 and if my calculations were correct this should be 2.850 a little long, let's look at the next one and see what it gives us before we make any adjustments 2.855, so I'm going to go ahead and go down five and go with that. Now I should really get out my Hornady bullet comparator and make notes on what the ogive measurement is based on the cartridge on these, but it doesn't really matter, it's fine, no problems with the 107 grain match king, back off the adjustment and move on to 120 grain. field match, okay, here's another test for our 2.990 micro adjustment which is 140 mil long, so there's 50, there's 100 and there's 40.
So this should turn out perfect, pretty close two thousand five hundred, two thousand five hundred long, and one three thousandths long, I want to go ahead and go down three and we'll run with that, yes, two point eight five zero, okay, next is the lapua sinar of 123 grains 2,915 is what I'm looking for, well shit I came up a little short on this 2,895 or 894 so that's 20,000 less than what I was planning on, but the number I was originally planning on I was using because it was 20 thousand off the lands. I'm going to go ahead with this, I'm going to change my notes and say, I'm shooting 40 mil with the lens today because otherwise I need to get this next size bullet out again as if it were a whole.
I'm not in the mood, okay, the notes are corrected and I move on, maybe I'll shoot better. to 40,000 to jump instead of 20. Okay, I'm going to go way back this time, so this is the 130 grain hybrid burger. My 6.5 creedmoor ar10 loves this 130 grain burger so I hope this gun performs like Well, because an extremely awesome viewer sent me four, four boxes of them, so we have a few to play with. Next is the 135 grain A-tip. Yes, it looks like our 135-grain A-tip is wearing out. a little bit of a ring around it, but I don't think it's deforming the bullet at all.
I'll have to pick up that VLD stem. I think they're $20, so I might as well have it. so with each bullet I have been giving one a shake and they all definitely have some left case capacity, good, 140 grain spear, gold point, I really like this bullet, plus it has been an excellent shooter in 6.5 creedmoor and I killed a couple of deer with this. bullet they did a very good job they look very good when they expand lots of weight retention good 2.930 good next is the 142 grain saw king if I remember correctly it's been a while since I shot this bullet at creedmoor and I think I got some Mixed results, but I know many others like this bullet, so I hope it does a good job.
I need to get a box of those 150 beans to try. I almost forgot to sit back in my seat. This time because this is the 143 grain eldx we have factory ammo with this bullet and it seemed to be shooting pretty well in my barrel swap so I'm hoping it does even better with handloads so this was 57 grains of imr 8133 and I think this one had the most fill, but it still has some dust moving around, now I think this 147 grain field match I don't remember if it's the same warhead we could basically use the same die configuration, but let's go out 50 and let's see where that puts us, that's where 45 thousand is so close that they would have been five thousandths away from each other if we didn't even move the die, better safe than sorry, right?
Okay, last one and I finally managed to get some ammo. Holy shit, let's go to the range. I feel like the recharge gods owe us a safe trip. You know, they're good groups. There are no problems promising accuracy. All that, so we're 100 yards away. I have the shop marker electronic targeting system running on top and if I have no technical issues we should have a targeting camera right there so this is a wild 110 accuracy, the 6.5 prc barrel has a twist from 1 to 8. a 24 inch barrel, this is a viper hs vortex scope that has a 24 power omega-36m silencer suppressor and makes our chronograph to get our speeds.
You will also see the speed appear in the workshop marker system, top center. It gives you each shot and then on the top right you'll see an avg and a sd, those are target speeds so it's confusing at times. I want to start with a quick group with the Hornady Precision Hunter Factory ammo, use the 143 grain eldx. and this seemed to be shooting pretty well each time we did the initial test firing of the gun after the barrel change. I guess we could also see if this loaded outside of the charger. This weapon has always been a bit annoying. to load the magazine, so the amount of empty space we have in front of the rounds in the magazine is a little ridiculous, so what in the world is going to happen to them during recoil?
I wonder, yeah, I just hit it and Everyone just pushed themselves forward. I'm wondering if there is some type of spacer or maybe another style of magazine I'm supposed to use or if all this empty space is normal. We'll start with just three of them there. look what happens that was pretty much the same as with my 300 win mag and it could just be because you know I'm working the bolt very slowly here on the bench but yeah it's mostly working let's start shooting that's right. a good start, it's a very good start, it's 0.82 inch and this first shot was a stone cold gun, no warm up, so what was it without that 0.51 inch?
Good deal man, that's pretty good for some factory ammo if you ask. For me, the average velocity was 3018 feet per second with a standard deviation of 17.8. Okay, before we get to the hand loads, I want to film some of this horny match. This is field match 147. Now in the last video, they were going all over the place. First place, I'm talking about four or five inches, so I wanted to try it again. I don't know what was going on in that last video, if it was just having the gun completely separated and together we were making big adjustments to the scope, maybe the scope was going a little crazy.
I had a scope when I was a kid, that's how it was, just shit. You know, a 30 tasco scope that I had on a rifle and you made an adjustment and then you had. shoot once or twice to really get the sights moving and then you were good. I have quite a few of these scopes and never had that problem with these, so I doubt that's what was going on, but who knows, I will. Tell you what, let me clear the shot marker first and I want to keep shooting at that same point because today we are short on points, we have a lot of different loads to shoot, so let's see what happens here, okay, that's not so bad.
I want to say it's bad but it's not it's not like we saw the average velocity was 29 31 standard deviation 18.8 okay let's move on to some fun stuff you should probably give the gun a minute to cool down because the recoil of the reef feels amazing you know I guess my brain I'm so used to feeling 300 win mag recoil every time I'm sitting behind you know this particular gun but yeah it feels good it feels light and that's probably why I'll have to be more careful with the heat of the barrel than I would otherwise. It feels pretty good.
I left the suppressor cover off today. I got a bit of a breeze so the mirage shouldn't be bad or at least the suppressor mirage shouldn't be bad and will help it cool down much faster. Okay, let's get

started

. Let's go out with our silly load, the 85 grain Sierra Varminter with that little 40 grain load of 5744 precision. And I have to assume that our zero will be quite far away, but we'll see, we'll shoot the next point, please. Don't blow my face off, it's okay, the velocity on that shot was 34 30. I forgot to write what's supposed to sound good enough, the brass looks good, the neck is a little smoked, we can take a look at it when we get it .
Back to the bench but I loaded this in hot brass that was already dirty so that may be part of that there was also very little recoil okay let's see if it groups those last three shots really well stacked in there so overall 1.14 inches. group, see what those last three were, yes, the last three came in at 0.31 inches. I'm definitely calling that group a win because that's really cool, the speed was 3448 standard deviation 14.1 doing that with an accuracy of 5744 just blows my mind okay move on this is the 107 grain saw king with imr4451 whoa that felt like a good shot okay that's just ugly yeah so that's a 2.26 inch group speed was 31.84 standard deviation 20.7 wasn't even really trying to group so I think less so I think That Less said about this, better let's move on, forget that it ever happened after a short rest to let the gun cool of course, okay, next is the hornady 120 grain field combat with h-4831 sc , this is my grendel's favorite bullet that feels loaded. a little bit strong because the bolt lift was a little bit, I won't say it was difficult, but there was a little bit of resistance in the bolt lift, it seems like it was trying to bunch up, but we ended up with a speed of 1.12 inches, a deviation standard 31.38. 8.9 expecting a little better but a little promising so next up is the 123 grain lapua cnr with 23 magazine.
Don't screw it up, screw it up a little, yeah just a little good so this is more like what have. We're waiting 0.81 inches to see what it was without that first shot, yes, 0.40 without the first shot, ourspeed was 3052 feet per second, standard deviation was 6.0. I was starting to worry, I was about to say it earlier, like we were in this. day and our best group is the damn factory ammunition. I might give up, but look at this group. That's why you don't speak that kind of evil. You have to trust that things will get better. I guess that's okay, so we have five. more dots and six more groups, so I need to grab some little doughy stickers down there, yeah, I'll cover that middle group, that big, old, nasty group, yeah, two and a quarter inch group, we'll cover it, okay, come back here to this center. point well next up is the otm tactical 130 grain hybrid burger with h1000 so another thing i wanted to mention is that the last group of this group is where we switch to the new brass norm so the first three groups of handloads they went with the hornady so this is all norma or nosler, sorry nosler brass, so that's not terrible. 0.95 inches, this guy here who ruined our sticker also ruined our group.
It's a very good .69 inch four shot group, so the velocity was 3058 feet per second and the standard deviation was 8.3, so the barrels stayed pretty cool pretty easily, that's good , so we need to go down to the bottom row and next up is the 135 grain hornady A-tip with vitivori n565. Okay, not too bad for the atep speed of 0.86 inches. 28.70 with a standard deviation of 12.2, so one thing I've noticed about the new mouthpiece brass is that some of them are pretty tight, like they need to be crushed a little or whatever to get them all the way in there and I think that's headspace. related because I went a little shorter than I should have in my headroom, I should probably see it as a good thing because this fire formation is not having to deal with excess headroom, it's time for a little break to let it the gun cools down. tell you that the wind has been gusty and I've had to wait a bit, which is fine, you know it's been helping keep the gun cool and all, but of course, since I'm about to take a break, it's like absolute calm, okay, this is just one of those videos, okay, so I'm back from a long break.
The gun is pretty much completely cooled down now so let's move on to the 140 grain gold point with the 26 mag. so 0.90 inch I'm ready for deer season the velocity was 29.55 with a standard deviation of 11.6, okay, moving on to the 142 grain saw king with imr 7977, I really like this powder in 300 win mag, don't screw it up, the shot fell great. Oh, nice 0.69 inches, what was it before that? Oh, 0.40, yeah, that's it. It hurt a little bit, it felt like a great shot, so the first shot, the average speed was 27.95, but the standard deviation is 34.3 really very bad and our first shot was the lowest at 40 feet per second with 27.43, so the best group of the day gives the most confusing or unexpected speed stats, that's how life goes sometimes I guess, next up is the 143 grain eldx with imr 8133 so this is the same bullet that we shot in the factory ammo that shot a pretty good group so let's see how our loads perform. listen guys, I don't know how all this works 1.84 inches where that came from the velocity was 2828 standard deviation 10.7 extreme extension 28 very strange okay one more left, but I need to give the gun a couple of minutes okay five left shots and they are with the 147 grain field match and the rotumbo that one wanted to group to see what it was without the first shot, yes, four shots in .56 inches, but the first one was very far from 1.37 inches, so the velocity was standard 2790. deviation 10.4 I tell you what I am very happy with the results today: the 142 grain sierra match king was good and with the 143 eldx I mean that we know the bullet can shoot because the factory ammo shoots well , so we just have to find a friendlier powder for that guy and get rid of that little guy with the 147 there's a lot to work with here we have work to do in the

reloading

process but the gun seems fine, okay, let's pack up, let's go back to the bench, okay, let's take a look at the brass, these two pieces are from the first charge with exact 5744.
I was talking about the necks looking a little smoky, so let's compare it to the next one, imr 4451, it's the same, yeah, that's just because the boxes are dirty now. The primers in this brass are a little cratered and they all have craters. This gun just does it with factory ammo. It does this with all my handloads. Made the same as 300 win mag, so same bolt, same primer craters, otherwise everything shows. Okay, now I'm hoping I can get this to show up, but some of the brass on the mouthpiece, especially, has some shiny spots around the case head, like it's nothing crazy.
I think these were the pieces where I needed to crush them a little, that bolt just didn't do it. I don't really want to go home, and when I pressed it there, a little bit of that remained. I think that might be the source because it was intermittent and happened on a bunch of different loads so there's nothing to be scared about, I don't think so in general. I'm so glad there was another look at our best group which was the 142 grain sierra match king with imr 7977 and then this group here was with the 123 grain lapua sinar yeah that was 0.81 inch and that was the 0.69, another thing I wanted to check, if you remember back to Ratumbo, this is the one that had all the groups and our speed was 2790 with a standard deviation of 10.4 and looking at the Hodgdon load data, the speed seems almost correct, so it doesn't seem that way. like the lumps are causing us any problems so I really mean this die was our only problem and I've been trying to decide what to do with it you know from looking at it in the borescope and seeing those brass flakes and some of the coloration brass, I'd really like to go in and get it out of there, maybe polish it with some light abrasive material and see what happens, but I know the smart move is to just call read and let them deal with it, so I just ran . a poll on my community tab with no other details except I have a new die that I think is bad, what should I do or what would you do and right now 82 percent say let the manufacturer handle it and the 18 says remove I took out the polishing and polishing compounds and tried to fix it.
I felt pretty confident that the post would go in that direction but I wanted to run it anyway just to be sure so that's my next step, see if lei can help me with the die and I think I'm also going to order a lei die because you know they cost 15 dollars or whatever. If it takes a while to read, we'll have another die to use and listen to. I never have luck with customer service, they'll check it out. It will be to spec and will be returned as no problem was found, that's how my life goes.
I guess if that happens we could polish it up, so I think that covers it pretty well, starting with 6.5 prc with There's a minor issue we need to take care of and if you hate hearing YouTubers complain, now is the time to leave this video. I hope you have a great day because I had some problems beyond what you saw, I have that case. That first case got stuck and right around the time I ran out of ideas, I didn't know what to do. This thing was kicking my butt. I realized I had lost all my video footage up to that point, so those blank spaces from before. with just audio luckily I was able to recover everything else fine for the most part, well I lost some stuff I didn't really need but whatever the idea I lost a bunch of files and at that point I had to stop everything because I didn't know how What I was going to proceed with was to start a separate video on how to clear a difficult stuck case and then start over with the 6.5 prc video because you know I can't start it in the middle of a bunch. of problems, so that's the main reason why this video is so late, as you know, it's supposed to be posted on Sunday.
This will be published on Thursday. I really apologize, but I wasted a couple of days with file recovery. I had audio problems. I'm not even going to talk about it but I had audio issues and on top of that I had all this dye shit so I had a front row seat on the wrestling bus there for a while and that's why this video lasts four days. late so I apologize for that, well the other problem is that it's Thursday now and I have another video for Sunday. I'm not going to make that video. Just no, I'm probably going to make a couple. videos for my second channel, but the next reload video will be a week from next Sunday, so maybe some time will pass, maybe I will have a lead die.
I'll go ahead and make another 6.5 prc video or maybe I will. do anything else i'm not sure yet but after i get over this nightmare i need a couple of days to clear my head and get into weed mode it's like knee deep so that's where we'll leave this thanks for letting me vent here for a while minute, I hate hearing YouTubers complain as much as you do, but I wanted to tell you how it all went. It was gnarly, but hey, I didn't get my face blown off, so that's a win, okay, see you next time.
