Hello guys, welcome back to my channel, my name is Brittany and my friends call me Boltz and today we are going to prepare with me for the military ball. I have never been to one before with my husband and we are going to prepare. So this is the final product, but we are all the clips. It's been a minute since I posted long-form videos on YouTube, but I thought it would be fun to prepare with me. I'm going to comb my hair. I'm going back so I can put on my makeup first. Let's just say I've been struggling with acne quite a bit.

You can see it in my face. I thought it was hormonal acne. I've been on birth control for a long time, so I've never had it. However, I had problems with acne until we moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, so I'm thinking maybe it's the water, the water here. I haven't really changed many of the products I use, except for my friend Nicole, she's an esthetician, she said. She told me about all these glymed products and she is helping me get through it so my skin looks much better than before. It doesn't look great, no, but it looks better than perfect, so I have this Too Faced primer that I'll put on first. so it's been a minute since I posted anything on YouTube, if you've seen some of my previous videos it kind of talks about how I've been struggling to have a healthy balance and relationship with social media and somehow I got my dream job for which I am truly grateful.

I've been doing it full time for over a year. I had to wet my blender. But I've been working with them for a year. I love it, but that's definitely my first priority. I am a media specialist. I help our talent with everything related to social media, everything that has to do with interviews, interviews with different media outlets, putting them on podcasts, so that has taken up a lot of my time and that's why I haven't been. I post so much on YouTube, but I would definitely like to change that. I want to post a little bit more, but Byron Byron and I, my husband, if you don't know by now, you know it's in our last video with our tour of the apartment, there it is, so I've been kind of low key, we've had a lot of things happening in the last year.

Long story short, he's had three back surgeries, but everything is fine now, so yeah, Byron was in flight training in the Marines and about a year into our relationship. He's in the middle of flight training and he got injured, he actually has quite a few back problems, we found out during the process, so we didn't go on a honeymoon or anything, we got married in March of this year, It was very low key, there were only family and close friends there, it was exactly what we wanted. I've never been the girl to think much about my wedding number one.

I never thought I'd get married in the first place, so there's that. We are married. I love Barnes so much. He's the best man I could have asked for, so I'm very grateful for him, but honestly, this year has been a little difficult just with his back surgeries, but he's doing much better. now he had to receive a spinal stimulator and will have to get out of the military, so we are in the process of that, it's going to take quite a while, we are still in Corpus Christi, not sure if we will stay in Corpus Christi or not, we like it Corpus, but we are thinking about finding roots and

ually starting a family, not in the near future, maybe in a few years, but first we would like to have a house.

I would like to be close to some family, but our family is very spread out, since his parents live in Mexico, so when my family lives in Idaho, some of my family lives in Alabama, some of his family lives in Texas, so we are there. I'm not sure we've been looking at houses in a few different states, but we'll see, we'll see what happens. My base. I didn't even mention what my base was. I've been using this Revlon Color Stay, so long story short, we've been trying to figure out what's next, but we can't make any decisions until I'm completely out of the military, so it's going to be a while.

It'll probably be until 2023, maybe even mid-year before we hear anything, so we'll be in Corpus for a while, but we love it, we love it here. We've met some really amazing friends that we actually go to. the Renaissance Festival this weekend for my birthday. I'm turning 26. I don't even know, I don't feel like 26. My body is starting to feel 26. I know it's so cliche to say, but yeah, my body hurts, another update though. I started the soft 75 challenge and I found it thanks to a girl who posted a tick about it and they have a whole discord, they have like 10,000 girls who joined this challenge.

If you've heard of the 75 hard challenge, it's like that, but it's a little more lenient, you'll pretty much make your own rules, a big part of it is like exercising a day, reading every day, journaling every day, spending time outdoors trying to be healthier, only drinking on social occasions so I'm on day 25 at the moment so it's been really good. I've been a lot more consistent with my days and my life since I started so I've really enjoyed it and I have to meet some. Really amazing girls that support me too, so I've been busy doing that, my neighbor, her name is Casey, she's amazing, we've been going to a top fitness class together, that's her name, it's like a mix between Zumba and pilates , I mean.

It's like dancing, but you're also spinning non-stop for a whole hour, so the first time I went I burned over 500 calories, but other than that, we've been living life with our dogs, we have three dogs, so they consume quite. part of our life and our time, it's been amazing, but I really miss, I missed YouTube, I missed creating content, creating content and I also missed streaming. I just haven't had the time or energy for it recently and I hate that, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm trying to be on this gentle 75 challenge so I can understand how to have more balance in my life and be able to manage my time better. that sexual mascara is the number one mascara, if you don't use it you have to go buy one right now.

Another trick one of my ex-boyfriend's moms told me is to apply a little powder to your lashes before you put them on. Mascara adds a little volume adds a little thickness, that's kind of what's been happening in our life, although I will say that I am happier than I have ever been in my life, things have really just fallen together. I feel like I'm in the right place at the right time and I know that everything happens for a reason, as the situation with Byron and his back has been really stressful, what has to happen is going to happen and it's a huge relief for many. .

There are a lot of ways you know Byron will get out of the military and he won't have to be deployed, so I've been to military balls before, that's not as fun. I was in ROTC for a year in college when I was. a freshman who clearly didn't last long but we had a dance that year so I went to a dance when I was in Army ROTC in college he actually picked out my dress so all credit to Byron for choose my dress. I tried on one he picked out and it actually looked great. I need to do some eye shadow.

I really wish I had practiced with my eyeshadow beforehand, but I didn't. He'll be wearing his blue dress, so he was thinking about maybe doing it. this darker color this is the color of my dress it's like it's almost silver it's almost like a dark silver but I don't want to apply silver eye shadow. I'll try. I'm going to do it with everything. Okay, that's how it was. the light tone, this is a revolution forever Flawless palette I want to do that for the light color. I like this blessed shade, although I feel like it could work quite well.

I'm not the best with makeup, I will say, but I've been trying to do better, like my Halloween makeup with the devil costume.
