decorate for christmas with me 2022 (vlogmas day 1)

welcome back to my channel if you are new here my name is Brooke McQuade and I am 27 years old and from Perth, Western Australia. We are trying to make vlogs this year. This will be the first day of

vlogmas

and we are finally going to

decorate

my house. As you can see in the background, I put some Christmas stuff on our TV to get us in the mood. I'm going to be completely transparent with you and tell you that I work full time until, I think, December 23rd, so I'll have to record some videos on the same day, but we'll still try to make 24 videos, how will we go?

I don't know, let's get into the

on the first day, thanks. Okay, we've removed it. all things

um these two like to hand knit close misses and then santa claus who were actually needed for my nana some very excited or on these like a little family heirloom and yeah i think it makes be really special to have those we have Christmas decorations, I bought them on my birthday blog for my tree, some lights, some pillows, so these pillows are actually from Kmart, so we have a little one from Joy and then a little koala.

My reef. My reef is beautiful. Let me show you this. This is my Reef, this one was from Target and I think it's the prettiest roundup I've seen in a long time and then my real Christmas tree also from Target. We don't have much space here, but let's put it. over here yes, we will block the door a little bit, but that's okay, that's where we will open it and continue, we have already put up the tree, it looks very bare and sparse, so we have to

decorate

it so that my The color theme is pink and blue and I know it's not very traditional but those are my two favorite colors so I'm excited to decorate it and see what it really looks like.

Thank you. Okay, we have the base decorations on the tree. I'm happy with how it looks, so I'm going to put the tinsel on and I'm going to put these kinds of things on the tree, probably not this one because it's green, but I have some like white, pink and blue as florals. things to appear here, so that's the plan to finish the tree. I also put in the star that you can't see right now, but I'll show it to you at the end, so let's do the finishing to make it completely. let's go together we have finished the tree I don't know about the tinsel but this is what it looks like I love the blue pink a little bit of white and a little bit of gold again I don't know if I'll stick with the tinsel on top but let me show you all the details, so we have these nice big flowers that I got from my mom, that's my new one and it looks stunning.

I wish I had a few more and then I'd probably remove the white ones, but that's what the tree looks like and I like to rotate it to make sure the bubbles are all over the place. It's beautiful, but now I'm going to deal with the rest of the decorations that I like on the floor and I'll probably just do my The House Is A Little Christmasy with it, so let's do that next. Thanks, it needs some finishing touches but I'm happy with how it looks so far so let me show you the decoration. Well, we have like a little sleigh with some extra decorations.

Leftover I have a little movie Christmas night board that I need to write on. I just put them here instead of on the tree and then up here we have our three little Christmas men. We have an old Christmas tree. I love this guy. I think it's Kmart or Target, I love it, so if we move here, I just have this little setup again, there was some leftover stuff for the tree, so I put it here on this little thing that's from Kmart and it has a reindeer behind it. that we have a koala Santa a koala Christmas cushion with a reindeer this reindeer sings uh Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer on the sofa we have our dear Mr. and Mrs.

Claus with a little cushion Joy these again are from my nana tangled love that I can have that and I always feel like she's here with us for Christmas and then we have a cushion of joy that came out here, we have our beautiful wreath and then of course the main character's Christmas tree at the end of the Christmas tree. I only have this. little like fire um chimney guard kit I don't know if I'll move this but that's where it is from time to time obviously the TV is playing but I just put these little gingerbread houses here on the little speaker they were on I worked on last year for decorations , so I don't know if I'll accept them or leave them here and then we also have our little Rudolph and a little car that again was my nana's, so I like to keep them. that there and finally I put a stocking.
