Tier Tray DIY || Using Dollar Tree Wooden Dice [ 1 easy DIY ]

Hi everyone, I'm Beth and today I'm making a

tray

. I use these

wooden

dice

from Dollar Tree. I needed four of them, so I grabbed two packages, four unfinished

wooden

beads, those are from Amazon. These two pieces of wood were forty percent off at Hobby. lobby, so it was just under two

dollar

s and then about two fifty, mineral paint and white chalk, hot glue and gorilla glue which is like e6000. The first thing I did was paint both pieces of wood with the mineral color, covered everything and did it. two coats and then I painted the

dice

as well and the four beads, once everything was ready and dry I glued the four beads to the bottom corners of the largest piece of wood I had.

I used the white chalk paint just to give it a little distress. I didn't want to do too much, so I took a little bit of paint on my brush and applied it along all those lines that make the circle on the dice, so I did that on all four of them and then just the edges of both pieces of wood , so wherever there was a line on the

tray

, I simply ran some white over it, found the center of the tray, and then placed one of the dice on it. the gorilla glue and the hot glue, so I placed it and I tried to place the nicer part of the dice facing out to make sure that's what you would see, so just a little bit of hot glue and then the gorilla glue, which is Like the e6000, it just doesn't smell as bad, so this is what I used and then I kept doing it until I had all four dice placed on top of each other.

I also marked the bottom of the smaller piece of wood. to find the center and then attach it exactly the same way with gorilla glue and hot glue and then just place it there and then I let it dry for a good 24 hours before I put anything on it, I just let it sit there and it dried completely.
