in my refrigerator. Welcome if this is the first time you find me. I

have

had type 1 diabetes for 40 years. and I've been doing facebook live since the end of March. This is Facebook Live number 103. I did them from Monday to Friday for 20 weeks to be a source of light, inspiration and hope for all of us who have type 1 diabetes in our new times. I inspire you that you can live a healthy and successful life with type one diabetes and I'm so glad you found me or maybe you've been following me for a long time and I tried to make one today.

I'm only doing them twice. a week now on Mondays and Fridays or sorry Mondays and Wednesdays and after I reach 100 lives on Facebook I'm going to reduce them to two a week while I'm building my membership program which I'll announce one of these days when I put it all together for you , it's going to be amazing and I was at Costco today at three o'clock Pacific and six o'clock Eastern, which is when I normally always do my Facebook lives, but t

wasn't enough service at Costco like you. I can imagine, so now that I've unpacked I thought I'd share with you

I've been snacking while putting away all my food so I'm a little high right now you know that's why you're following me you know this is high for me um I like to stay closer to below 120 um as much as possible and um but yeah, I thought I'd show you I mean, what do I eat? Here we go. Well,

we go. My refrigerator is very, very full. Now, mind you, if you've really been following me, you know that I've been traveling around the world for quite a while and this. it's the first time I started renting my own place because I've been going around so I went a little crazy at Costco like we do because I finally have my own refrigerator and I have all the space that's mine so that's exciting, okay, so look, this is very complete.

Obviously I'm not going to show you everything, but I'll start with my favorite drink of all time. This is a kavita drink. This particular lemon cayenne flavor is my favorite lemon cayenne because it only has three carbs total, this is my second favorite but it has 10 carbs so I don't have that many so I'm a very organized person so you'll see that This is my protein aisle, right? we have these are all my protein options I have wild salmon I have some organic sausages I have organic mozzarella this is my cheese I love cheese we have cheese here gorgonzola brie and havarti of course we have organic free-range eggs here and I brought some fresh fish, for Of course, fresh tomatoes are always wonderful, so these are my proteins, my cheese and protein area and now of course a lot of greens, I have an arugula thing, an organic greens thing, a bunch of organic celery. of carrots, I have cucumbers, olives and salsa and of course these are delicious.

Some of these peppers, like fruit, I have a lot of apples, apples and oranges, of course, avocados love avocados and then we have more here. It's full in there, but this drawer is cauliflower and broccoli, green beans, zucchini, yellow squash and then this drawer here is yams, limes and lemons. I have more of my favorite drinks here, these also contain carbs but they are just delicious, I love it. these, I have some nutritional yeast which is delicious b12 for you vegans, a high source of b12, it's a little cheesy and tasty. I put it on my baked vegetables with a little olive oil, delicious and then of course we all know what this is.
What this shelf is all my extra insulin, my fast and long acting, right there, so I make a smoothie in the morning with no carb almond milk and then I put in some blueberries, some collagen and some green tea powdered. I love some good organic peanut butter with celery. It's such a good snack, so that's my

. Lots of protein. A lot of vegetables. I make some fruit. I have chia pudding for breakfast. I have eggs and toast for breakfast. I have many salads. then of course I have protein and vegetables for dinner, that's pretty much what I eat now.
I always have some dark chocolate with me at all times. My favorite is green and black, organic, it's like 80 90 black, but I can. I can't find it here in Hawaii, so that's my refrigerator, everyone, what do you think? What do they eat? And, yes, my A1c has been around, you know, between 5.2 and 6.2 for the last 10 years. I eat low carb whole foods most of the time. I have a lot of great recipes on my website now, so if you go to doctor

There are so many great recipes out there, so I'm here to help inspire us all with type ones so we can live healthy, happy lives and you deserve an A1c below 6.5. Okay, I think there are a lot of gaps in people's A1c. to 7 and 8 and beyond and I'm here to inspire you to get the education and support you need to get an A1c below 6.5.
