kit on my 6.4 Powerstroke engine. This came in a pair. It probably came out a week ago, but I was waiting for the rest of my stuff, so I'll show you what it is. The high flow elbow comes with the instruction manual. I like that blue color. I had to buy mine earlier than I wanted just because the EPA was cracking down. They don't make racing parts anymore so I wanted to get mine. from

sinister

i just received one in my trucks blue color and it looked great comes with a very attractive decal here is another lock plate that has the Sinister logo very thick steel looks like it is actually heat treated some lock plugs for the other pipes in the back Hardware that no one checked confirmed according to the instruction manual everything is present so we are good I have my bucket to pour the coolant and right now is a good day to do it in the week is 60 degrees today and I've got all my tools laid out here in front of me I'm the kid in the bucket my tools here's a truck I've got the vertical cooler here's a horizontal run it just blows here for the oil so let's take this out and probably be sure and under the other cooler and some other hoses and things like that so I'm going to show you how to do all that and the kit says the instruction manual says make sure the front wheels are straight and then disconnect both batteries we're not going to do that is because please excuse the wind, it's a very windy day, so we're going to drain the coolant from the plug guide right up there, it's a 17 millimeter right into the bucket, some shop towels I can use to keep my hands clean, this and then this cooler.

Next we're going to pull this hose off the D gas bottle cable somewhere, but we're glad the jellies at home break that up, okay. I got some channel locks because I couldn't seem to get that cable out, but my fingers were pretty tight. Pass this little guy, this little bastard, they're kind. Now the kit says to save this hose because we will use it enough. for the future in the future I forget everything that has been taken care of, some are going to leave this aside next to my driveway, how does it look like this, out of the way, remove this coolant hose from the radiator by pulling on this clip that is right there and separating the hose.

I'm going to put this clip to the side in the box, it's just a little bit stiff and tight, it pulls out and that allows you to get a little bit better down there, yeah, vertical cooler, right there you can see the horizontal type. of starts going in that direction so next they want me to remove them after the batteries and taking out all the coolant lines go to the DJ bottle so I see this one right down there and there should be one underneath so it doesn't . I don't know anything about the side or not so we'll get back to you about that clamp a little clip I mean look at the clip and then when we remove the battery box the D gas bottle should have four bolts I'll find out what size are they? but I think they are 13 millimeters 13 millimeters 6.4 I have two spaces on the filtration side.

Come on, someone understand that there should be a ventilation hole. You, this, open it up, shake it up and give it a little bit of that. It's just coloring out of there. Hopefully the next thing they want me to do is remove the driver's side intercooler boot and I'm using an 11 millimeter deep well and they said you don't need to move it to I just think it's this clearance to get into those pipes, there you can see yourself. horizontal, the sucker goes right there, what really opens up a lot of space is the brake cylinder and the things that you know you can't see from above.

I might make my Bluffs shiny because it would be a good time to get them. anything I can easily get to them is fine so I just removed the intercooler arm from the tube. I actually loosened this end first and realized that they wanted to do this and it allows us to move a little bit easier than having this still. Attached to it, separate these coolers right here on their mounting bracket is held on with a 9/32 in addition to the hose clamps, so that's the type of plug you need to eat or a flathead screwdriver to remove it, you just see, you know, I removed a hose that was right here, this was going next to the D gas bottle.
I hadn't covered that because it was in the way of all this stuff and this is plastic and I'm going to break it so I don't have a hose to fight with. I feel like I could protect this a little better. My hand here will be a little bit easier, so these bolts that hold these two coolers together by 13 millimeters and hopefully they will break off pretty easily, so I have it taken apart and separated with the screwdriver it was very difficult to get to that bolt right on that side right from the fan shroud down the road now I'm going to loosen these there are two, three of them, saddle clamps, as everyone calls them, that hold this cooler in place all the way up I'm going to pull everything out sorry, I'm trying to shoot with one hand here 11 millimeters, I'm using 11 millimeters deep, well it's out with the flex gear wrench flex had been counting on youth My life is miserable without these guys now I have these two bolts, one is a bolt with a 13 millimeter nut and the other one is like torques so I set it up and this is not 12 hours 20 points or what it's supposed to be.
It can be like a 6 point or whatever and it's an e 10 or e 12. Sorry, like a 12, but it actually fits me well and I already loosened it up so I know it's going to work so just look at what I'm wearing. I just got that cooler out of there, it was a real pain to get through it, it would be a lot easier with this tube out. The

instructions

ask for it. I think this plastic coolant tube needs to be removed and removed, so I think I'll leave it. on I'm not entirely sure, yes, yes, it's this one that they want to remove, but I'll see how far it goes and continue without removing it to see if I really need it or not, so the next

step

is to remove the top.
EGR mount cooler so I'm going to take all of this off this should just be a couple of bolts holding it down there and then one over here and then obviously held on here remove everything these bolts here I'm holding this housing or 8 millimeters and this is an 11, obviously, look down at the instruction manual for that. They make us take this out, so I'll take it out right away. It is a 10 millimeter bolt. Our bolt. I mean, there should be four. I think I have it. That's all I can see for now for this for the cooler support.
I'm not sure what size yet but there is a clip but I think they are both for this bracket that holds this hose so I have to find out what it is. This is 13 millimeters, the hoses, these pieces are separated by 13 millimeters, the rest are 10 so far, my ratchets to hold that hose to that support 13 no, not even the bolt that holds that right there do you want to keep it because it allows you to go back to ride it. Those hoses right back there where they were kept them all the way to the end of the fan blades, so I'll do it right.
We installed the hose, the bolt and the hoses, yes, right there, so they are all tight. They said they would do it later I will come back to it later I thought I would do it now. I can still or while I'm there, I mean the steering stem or whatever you want to call it axle here and it's actually a 13 millimeter bolt. I loosened it obviously saved, that's what has built up, just slide one up or down to reveal that knot which is 13 millimeters that holds the dipstick in place. Ready, I'll remove the lower EGR cooler clamps.
EGR cooler one top and one bottom there mine is actually broken so I'll leave it obviously I'm not going to mess with that and then there should be two bolts on the back right there one on top and another one down, hopefully they'll come loose easily and they said this coolant line. Who's there? You can cut. They said it's not going to be reused, so I'm going to find out what it's for before I cut it up and then take it out. Everyone, we're really under the bus right now. I have the refrigerator, unscrew it. with the clamps but this is where it connects yeah the lights right there it's a little hard to see them on the bolt this is the exhaust manifold very dark here but it's a lot easier to get to these bolts it looks like It's 10, but I No, I'm not sure yet about 10 millimeters and that there is EGR.
EGR cooler and here's the hose they want you to cut so they can block that light. It's a little grainy, but yeah, it's much easier to get to from under the truck. I'm lying on a piece of cardboard right now and there's a bunch of rusty tools, so I wasn't sure what signs it's all going to be, but I think it's ten millimeters, we just checked real quick, there's a 10 millimeter deep pit, yeah, ten millimeters fit in so I'll be able to pop them right away with a 10 millimeter. I just twisted this almost completely trying to get that nut off so those things are tight oh my gosh reconsider what I'm going to do here so I just got the Take out the bottom bolt and use these screw extractors I got from Amazon.
Its impact rating comes with the ones I use to take out the bottom one. I'm still going to do the one above. The one above is also rounded for me, so I have to try it, but yeah for a second. I thought I was screwed, so they worked fine. Only the top one came loose. I tell you what a pain it really is. I just released it, that sensor that goes to a sensor, the exhaust temperature is. It's really painful, but it's loose now, so I should get that cooler out of there real soon. Now I realize why they want you to bring this up.
I've tried various combinations, but I don't want to break this thing, so I'm going to take out this tube, take out this plastic coolant tube. I'll leave it connected to this hose. I think I can move it all the way, but like an eight millimeter screw here, an eight millimeter bolt there, your knees pull out the cooler bracket and so does this. It's a I think it's a steel tube that fed the cooler you can see it breaks there and cuts the hose but it gets all the way here it looks like it has an 8 millimeter bolt for one of the EGR blocks I'll put it in I'm going with this piece and this will turn out fine.
I removed the EGR cooler bracket. The next thing I have to do is install what comes with the kit. There are four m8 bolts by 40. I come back to here where, as it was, you can see that one. stood there and the third down nothing here nothing there well deep down there's nothing there either - I mean and - deep down this comes off in one piece with real pain but nothing broke everything came out quite easily 4m 8 by 40 or by 4 or whatever, I guess I'm going to use it for the exhaust manifold down here, since the finger started there, a 13 millimeter socket, eight bolts, the bolts, I mean, the bolts to put the cover right there for that guy.
I'm going to clean that guy up a little bit to get a nice smooth surf surface and this lockout plate goes right there. We have a 13 millimeter head. I read the truck and cleaned the mounting surface on this. I recommend just walking around. looking for sand, it was whatever you have, oh, I have a plate that I'll make sure it doesn't have debris on it and then my screws are screwed in and then the work ratchets are tight on the stairs. I could see what happens if it leaks. Heat it up and then retighten it to the factory dipstick tube to the oil and then the next

step

is to remove the coolant line, whatever is dead here according to the

instructions

.
I just finished the dipstick that we chilled and it is connected to the upright jug chiller. replace it with the coolant plug supplied in the kit to block the hole so a block goes right here to see if I can get in there, no you can't really see if I'm right between this one and then right there. It might not be hard to get to, it's got that tube out there and you can't really see if it's right under this guy, an eight millimeter bolt, a fine ten millimeter head with a new plate lock fix that you must reuse. some old hardware to mount this.
I was just looking, there's only enough bolts to make the high flow inlet or the high flow elbow for this, so that's what I'm going to do, this last locking plug is going to go see. you can get to it down there through the lower radiator hose. I'm going to brush that hole real quick, clean it up, put it right there. It's installed with the factory hardware, all nice and pretty. I'm really making progress. I reinstalled this, but found out that it comes with a piece of aluminum spacer kit, so I'm going to put that spacer kit space right there just because it looks cleaner.
I'll take it out 13 millimeters. I put this back in and put everything back together. What I do is install the gas bottle. on the battery box I put in so I assume it has rusted and unless I use a household scrubber which my wife won't let me, I can't get it much cleaner than that, but she cleaned it with some soap and water, so the next step is to install all the hoses that go to gas bottle D, so I have to go get them and fromthe yard we will put them back in because of this and this end went to the old EGR cooler. that was here.
They are going to give us a pick kit. We reuse them to hold the torn ends. We took this out and spliced using that barbed fitting again on this. I'm using a hose and just this stuff goes in the trash, so. I'll do that. My setup usage provided a post clip here and there and I ran just one line. I didn't even splice it because that's the last area that leaked. Now this guy started doing it. 10 millimeters, I think, or eight, I think eight. millimeter starts to hold everything, you remove it completely, you put the new one in, we are ready to get excited and I forgot to record what it looks like on the bottom, but there is an O-ring that goes on the bottom and these four bolts are supplied with it, they had I have to plug this guy back in, plug in my fan and get the job done to get started.
I have to add coolant, add the battery, make sure there are no leaks. and I will give you a completely finished update shell. I just received the coolant. Now the batteries are ready. Remove, cool, and test for leaks. Thanks for watching.
