Baking is very much a science, you definitely need to follow the ingredients and measurements to the letter, along with the order in which you mix the ingredients is absolutely important, so here you are watching me mix all the wet ingredients together first, which included maple syrup, eggs, vanilla extract. and also coconut oil. I went ahead and gave it a good whisk to make sure everything was well mixed. Then I went ahead and added the sugar, so I used brown sugar for this recipe and I went ahead and tried to dissolve as much of it. I did the best I could, then I went ahead and added my bananas, so I took my time and I made sure I could grind them as best as possible.

I also discovered that if your bananas are not very ripe, you can mash them separately. Place in a bowl and then mix the mashed bananas into the liquid. Then I added my pumpkin puree and this part is important. You want to make sure you use pure pumpkin filling, not pumpkin pie filling. Those are two different things and I'm just making sure to Mix everything very, very well, now we can start adding our dry ingredients, so I use baking soda, baking powder, salt, pumpkin spice and cinnamon, and I went ahead and I mixed very, very well and now the last step is to add our flour, as usual.

I used almond flour, but I used it all last week, so I'm just using regular white flour, but the trick here is to add it little by little and incorporate it into the mixture, so once the mixture is well mixed, I went. Go ahead and I set it aside and started putting some fat in my pan and I remember seeing this on a cooking show one time where they added flour to the fat and it covered the whole pan so I did that and honestly, I don't even know if I needed to do that, but it seemed pretty professional to me, so I did it and then added the mixture to the pan.

I sprinkled a little cinnamon on top and also pumpkin seeds, but I think walnuts or even walnuts would work great. on top too and then I went ahead and got that bread ready and my oven preheated so now I can enjoy that delicious aroma while I

clean

and prepare each room for all the decorations. The first thing I changed was this. The wreath I had put up during the spring is so fun because I originally told myself I didn't like the way the pink wreath looked and I ended up keeping it all here for a long time.
I exchanged it for this crown and you. You guys know I like to have decorations that take me from

fall

to the holiday season and I feel like this one does exactly that, so I went ahead, put some string on the back and then placed an order. Hook the center of my oven hood and use that to hang it and make sure it's super secure so no accidents happen, of course the first thing that came out before I even put up my decorations was my pumpkin dutch oven. I bought these at William Sonoma last year, but I think HomeGoods sometimes sells them, so keep an eye out.
I also went ahead and designed the floating shelves a little differently. I still have my jar where I keep treats for my dog and then I found this pumpkin at HomeGoods that lights up, it's really cute and all the other pumpkins are pretty much ones I've collected over the years, probably from kids at home. Also to the right of the stove I added this really pretty candle that says hello fall and they also created a little home for my teapot. I'm giving away a McKenzie children's teapot, one just like mine, so if you love this teapot, definitely follow me on Instagram, it's only on mrs.
Hart and check the information box for the rules. We don't normally

decorate

for Halloween, but I found this towel that had a pop of black and pink and I thought it was perfect for the kitchen and it's so adorable. I'm sorry. I had to include that for the island, I just set up a little tray that is from home goods from years ago and then added my flowers. I love having fresh hydrangeas this time of year especially the fall colored ones I added in my aged a little golden pumpkin I made last year and also failed this apothecary jar with candied walnuts because they really love the contrast and colors, everything went together, you guys saw my coffee station in the last video, it still looks exactly the same but I added these really fun Halloween cookies for color and also because we love these cookies they are so good I knew I wanted to incorporate a little of the traditional fall colors so I found these maple leaves you can find them pretty much Like any craft store I bought mine at Pottery Barn they were on sale recently and I just cut the stem off so I could place them in this space and they It looks so beautiful that I ended up putting this space in our entryway, so I went ahead and

clean

ed the entire entryway table, the table is from C Valerie.
They ask me a lot. I bought this almost 6 years ago and I'm going to place the arrangement in the center and I wanted something that was super symmetrical so I already had these gold candle holders. I placed three on each side and then I also added my C Gallery pumpkin that I've also had for a year and then just a little baby pumpkin to add a little symmetry and then on the bottom I added this furry stool that I also have and my pink pumpkin which I bought a few years ago and I love how it looks, especially at night when the candles are lit, it is so attractive, so autumnal and so beautiful below.
Upstairs is the formal dining room and I actually kept this room pretty simple. I knew exactly what I wanted to do, as you can see. I changed some things. I put our canopy chair in this room. I kept our chairs blue and then I also put up the blue curtains I had in our master bedroom here, that was actually an idea one of you gave me because of the blue chairs and I thought, "Oh my gosh, that's cool and I love the way "in which it is seen." The room is pretty dramatic on its own with all the statement pieces so I wanted to keep the decorations pretty simple and I wanted to create almost a really romantic atmosphere so I started adding these pastels and bought them from the world market.
I think last year I added a bunch of flameless candles, all different heights, and then I included two tea light candles because I wanted something with Chrome just to give it a little dimension and then on the second pedestal I added this cute little pumpkin . I also made this pumpkin last year and then added this really pretty gold wreath. I think I bought it in a package from Pierre. I don't even remember one, but I always loved incorporating it into this room because I feel like it. it just goes together and then I added these pumpkin placemats, which I'm not sure if I'll keep here.
I don't know how I feel about them. I feel like they take something away from the presentation, but other than that. I love how this room looks, it's very simple at night, it feels so cozy and inviting for my living room. I didn't really do much because honestly, this room ends up being Sebastian's playroom, so the fewer items this room has, the better. Because it takes less time to clean, I shopped around my house and changed the pillows, and these pillows in They were actually in my master bedroom, but I thought they looked beautiful in the living room and then these pillows that I bought this year I found at HomeGoods are like a leopard print, but I love that it's like a darker leopard print because It matches our couch and just to show you what has changed in my living room, I moved it as a plant to the side of the room. because if you look on the right side, which is where all of Sebastian's toys are, I also have my ghost table back there, so I can put a little bit of decoration there.
You'll also notice our carpet is missing and that's because we send it in for a deep clean, which we do twice a year and like I said, I kept things very simple. I just added my basket with the pumpkins next to the fireplace and it will probably be full of Legos by the end of the day. the bread was completely ready to

bake

and I was so proud of the finished product you guys like it, not only does it look absolutely beautiful but it also tastes so delicious so once it was completely cooled I went ahead and served it.
I love this with any of the creams. cheese or warmed with a little butter and a little milk convinced and, seriously, it is very good. Thank you all very much for watching it.
