with you and I'm going to create a card for you that includes a set of stamps that you can win for free during this month's Stampin Up Celebration Promotion. start stamping this card. mini catalog and I want to put some sticky sheets behind some white

tock and I'm just. I'm going to cut it four by five and a quarter and I'll do the same thing with my adhesive sheet and save it because I can actually use it for little die cuts or whatever I need.

I'm going to peel off the backing, look, it's here somewhere, here we go. I'm only going to do one section at a time, so I'm just going to line it up, peel off the second piece of the backing and then the last piece, perfect now. I'm going to bring my die-cutting machine. I'm going to place my die. Let's try to move this up a little bit so you can see. In fact, let's turn it around. Well, turn that up. Put my plate on my nice new cutting plate. I always get so excited when I get a new cutting plate and I'm going to go back the other direction so I have my die cut done it's so beautiful and of course I have the adhesive sheet behind it so I just go.

To put this aside and I'll come back to it next time I need it, I'm going to add a little bit of shading to a piece of basic white

tock, this measures the same four by five and a quarter, so I'm going to bring in my budgie. party ink pad and a smudge brush and I'm going to load it up. I'm going to turn this to the side because I worked better that way. I'm going to add a little bit of green for the grass and then I'm going to add a little bit of blue. Okay, I'm just going to add my green.

I'm going to add a couple of greens actually, but I'm going to start with the lightest one. Okay, using the same brush, I'm going to pick up some foreign old olive and I'm doing. Make sure you don't go past where I have that lighter green just to have that little shade of light green slightly over it. Anyway, it won't be very noticeable when the card is done, it'll just have a nice um, it will be. a nice soft background behind that die cut tree now I'm bringing in my balsamic blue and I'm using a clean blending brush now and I'm starting above that budgie party line, you can see how nice and soft it is.

I think I'm going to be crazy here and apply some fresh freeze and see how it looks, you can tell and if you've seen some of my previous videos, I always rub the ink on the side just to make sure. don't have it too dark and for some reason my cat Rocky tends to want to appear in all my videos abroad lately and now I'm adding a little bit of Orchid Oasis and you can see where I just removed a little bit of that ink so it's not too dark dark in my role. I'm going to change this like this now.

I think I'm going to add a little bit of blue. I like purple, but I want to add a little bit of blue which I like to create as I go. I'm sure many of you already know or have already figured out if I'm going to stamp. Sometimes I think, well, why not just put the camera up so they can see my process as I go? it's real, but it's always a surprise for me too in the end to see how my cards turn out, okay, here we go, that looks good to me, so now I'm going to take out my trees and remove the backing, have our contact paper.

I'm not going to use sticky sheets because I'm just going to go ahead and use a Dimensional Stampin to put this on or liquid glue I haven't quite decided yet so I'm going to set those aside and bring in a piece of basic white cardstock and bring in our

I'm going to show you how I attach my labels, so I'll get them all out when I first joined Stampin Up. which was in 2002. I remember we had to cut and cut all of our images from the rubber, so we've come a long way to over the years. I have to say that it's okay, there is an indentation in the middle of each image. so I'm just peeling that back off and then I take my stamp and I just line it up and I press it down and I take it off and that label is fine so I'll

, but I think what I'm going to do. Instead, what I do is I use this guy, so let me put my little owl friends and feelings back in the case and I'm going to ink my image with a saddle. Brown stays and I'm going to bring my basic black marker and Now I'm going to go over the eyes. I'm going to bring my Granny Apple green marker and I'm going to use that on the eyes as well and then this is my Sahara Sand ink pad, so I'm going to pick up a little bit on a clear block and I'm going to use my water painter to pick up a little bit, making sure I don't have too much water and I'm just going to fill in the lines and that's why I use my braces in um Brown because I didn't want my ink to bleed now.

I'm doing the same thing using my soft suede foreign pumpkin pie and since this is an old style ink pad I can pick it up right from the lid and another reason I like to use my water. painters with my ink pads is um, my ink is not as dark as it would be if I used a marker directly on this and I can also go back and add as much ink as I want, it looks really nice here, okay? Now that I'm done coloring, I'm going to clean it up with my heat tool to make sure it's dry before I cut it, so I'm just adhering this to a budgie party card base and cut another piece of basic white. this is four by five and a quarter and I'm going to put it on the inside and then our little owl is going to be put on the card with a couple of dimensions of Stampin oh my gosh, does it get

I don't think so. just mixing them up a little bit to give them some extra dimension and now I have a piece of Night of Navy and I'm going to use it to stamp my sentiment and I'm going to emboss it in white so I'm just touching my stamping buddy and in this stamp set it's my friend's sentiment, which is what I'm using, so I stamped my sentiment with the Whitecraft ink pad that I sprinkled over my white embossing powder and I'm I'm going to set that up with my heat tool, so I'm going to cut it out and I want to use a new punch on this, so the punch that I'm using is from our new Mini catalog, it's called um happy tag selection. a punch and it's part of a package that you can get with this stamp set that I made and I love it and I'm going to use one of these stamps on the inside of my card so this is the punch that I'm using so I'm going to cut out this outwards because it is a little wider than I want.

You can see there are two different patterns, so this one is more scalloped. It's more like a small ticket puncher. I want to use the scalloped end, so I'm just sliding this in, I'd say it's about three-quarters of an inch, so I'm just sliding it in. I have the twine from my Oasis Baker orchid and I'm going to wrap it around this sentiment, so I'm just going to put a dot of glue behind it to hold it up and I apologize if my lighting isn't as good today folks, I'm filming later in the day than normal and it's getting dark outside now I'm going to put one dimensional behind and another one here I'm going to go ahead and put it directly on my card.

I'm going to put it right here, okay, and now I'm going to tie a knot, yeah, because I love wearing embellishments. I'm going to pull out my basic iridescent pearls and I'm just going to take one and put it on either side of that ribbon, which will bring out some of the white but also add a little bit of Shimmer from that stamp set that I showed you earlier happy labels. I'm going to stamp "you have the biggest heart" inside my card and I'm going to use "night of Navy" because it's a predominant color on the front and I want to incorporate it. the inside of the card so I'm just inking it to finish my card.

I'm pulling out my fine tip glue pen and I'm going to place this in the center of the eyes to make them shiny and add some texture. I'm going to squeeze this slightly and then wait for it to dry and I think I'm going to put a little bit on the spout as well. There's my full card. I love how it turned out super sweet and it's great. How you can incorporate this stamp set or other stamp sets using the sponge background and the aspen die, there are so many possibilities and I hope you get a lot of inspiration from today's card demo.

I actually ended up making two more of these cards since I had all my supplies so I wanted to show them to you because they turned out so cute. I haven't stamped anything inside yet, but I designed them the same with the sponge and dies, but here is the branch I cut out. I went out earlier and just kept my little owl and then another one here and then hoothoot you're so cute and then this one. I really love how it turned out. I added some flowers and the flowers and die cuts are from the love for you package. and this is the flower and leaves that I used and look at the inside of the flowers.

What I use for the inside of those flowers are our new Daisy loose ornaments and they are so fun and all I did was you see. Look, my hands are all, I have ink on them, but can you see there's a little bit of green for that little leaf on the tip that I just cut off? They're not hard plastic, they almost feel like a foam paper or something, but OMG these are one of my new favorite ornaments so all I did was just cut out that little green piece and then I just glued them on the centers and added some butterflies.
