10 year old brings Austin police to tears with two simple words

A bunch of tough, tanned Austin cops made a sweet 10

year

old girl from Tyler Texas cry today with just two little

words

, thank you. Four weeks ago today she was brought to

tears

with the murder of two New York

police

officers and she is. I've been a girl on a mission since Savannah, so she spent her Christmas vacation writing hundreds of thank you cards to the

police

in New York and all over Texas. She delivered many in person throughout East Texas, Houston, Dallas and now Austin. Her message is

simple

and direct. the heart To my heroes I want to tell you not to stop, please, don't give up.

Many do not care or appreciate the sacrifices they make every day. Many are with me today to let you know that you are all important. All over Texas, I care about you, officers in New York City, I care about you, officers across America, I care about you, please continue to take care of us. Mom says Savannah has wanted to be a police officer since she was a little girl. We were passing by to see them. stop someone and she in the back seat would just stop and pray asking God to take care of them so she always had a special Nick for them now the best option is they all adopted her and she just wants me to stay .

As many autographs as possible because they are her heroes and you know she doesn't look at celebrities the way she does law enforcement, she adores them. The feelings are mutual. She was so proud. The

and that's what it's all about, she's an old soul, she knows what to do and say the right thing and I don't even know if she realizes the impact of her words on these officers and this department she You know they always gave me a hug or said thank you and I said you're welcome.
