Hey guys, we're blocking my channel so today we're doing a Dollar Tree DIY using things from Dollar Tree and a couple of things I got from Target not too long ago. I am very excited to share this with you. I hope it turned out what I imagined in my head because sometimes it just doesn't go as planned, but that's totally okay so I'm going to make these cute

farmhouse

signs

anyway. I'll show you how I make them and how much I spent. and it'll probably cost less than two

dollar

s or less than three

dollar

s to make both so I'm really excited to get started so I'm going to skip dad and now because my Kevin intros are incredibly long lately so yeah I just had these two little

signs

I'm going to use today and I didn't like the ugly arrows on them, but I knew I could take them apart and I really liked the piece of wood I thought they had on the back, so I couldn't wait. to use them and I was just going to spray paint them both but first I had to remove all this rope and then I ended up using one of the arrows so I left some of the nails and then the other one.

It's removed, but I'm going to cut the thread and then get them ready so I can start spray painting them. I used chalkboard paint for one of them and then I used a white, it's a traditional white, it's just what I use for everything and then on this one I just used needle nose pliers just to pull out all these little nails and then for the one I use on the chalkboard paint and I'm just going to use this garland I recently bought this from Target for dollars I thought it was $3 and I just wanted to make a bunch of little reefs with this so I'm going to cut a little bit of this off and then glue it right to the board and then Once I glued it up I realized it was a little off center but there was nothing I could do because if I knew if I ripped it off I would have to repaint the whole thing so I left it like that and then I got these.

Little sticky stickers that I also bought on the dollar at Target, they were also $3 and then I used this little gasket in the middle because I really wanted to be able to use them all year round so I thought it turned out like this. cute and then I just added twine to the holes again so I could hang it and that's what it is for this one. I thought this one was really cute and I was really happy with the way it turned out and then For this one I decided to use the arrow. However, I just wanted to use twine and my string art isn't on point so I was just improvising this a little bit and then hung it by cutting and hot gluing because I wasn't really sure how I was going to attach the string part. arrow in the middle, so that was fine and I was also happy with the way it turned out.

I was very excited to be able to do some kind of string art of some kind. By the way, but I think I didn't end up using a nail that I should just pull out, but I saved it in case I did it wrong and I remember how to do it, let me spin my wings and the next thing I just printed. this pumpkin so pick up a free printable website and I'll leave the link in the description box below and then I just scratched the pencil all over the back so I could trace the front and then I would leave the print on the piece of board. and I was very happy with the result.

I love this way to feel versus anything else or even just buying your own templates. This is much cheaper and very easy. No, I thought you'd see me cry and then once everything was mapped out. I just took a permanent marker so I could trace around it and it would be easier to paint. I ended up painting black and I ended up going over all the letters with a black permanent marker because I didn't realize it. I like how well you could see the gray around it and it made my lines much clearer and cleaner. The last thing I'm going to do with this sign is I bought these dollar stickers at Target.
It was three dollars and then I'm going to add two to the bottom and I thought it turned out really cute, it's really simple and then I also put the twine back on so I could hang them if I wanted to, but that's it.
