The PowerBeats Pro - 2 Years Later (Honest Review)

Mar 18, 2024
Alright guys, I've had the Powerbeats Pro for about two

years

and the first thing you'll notice about the Powerbeats Pro is that they are truly wireless earbuds, they come in black, navy, white and I think pink, but I could be wrong on that. anyway, that's not really the most important part of today's topic, most of today's topic is going to be a few things, but the first thing I wanted to talk about is basically the look and feel of these headphones just because like you guys you can see these are a little bit different than the Airpods Pro, the Powerbeats Pro.

I had the black version, so that's what you'll see in this video and out of the box, they're pretty big sized headphones, both the headphones themselves. and the battery case is a larger style earbud, which means carrying them in your pocket won't necessarily work very well unless you're someone who's fine with a big bulge in your pocket and maybe you're not someone who You really carry your wallet with you all the time, the reason I say this is because it's a very big lump and I personally don't really like having my wallet and something that big in my pocket or it's just something like that. seems inappropriate so for me personally guys I'm not a big fan of doing that, if you're someone who actually has a backpack that you carry around with you or a purse or something like that you won't have a problem with these as they are larger . than airpods, so putting them in your back pocket or front pocket just isn't going to work.

More Interesting Facts About,

the powerbeats pro 2 years later honest review...

The earbuds themselves are actually bigger, bigger and heavier than actual airpods for long periods of time that you get used to. the weight and overall heft helps them feel a little more durable and like there's something there at the end of the day, the Powerbeats are really a great option for someone looking for a really nice looking workout earbuds and I don't. I don't think style should get in your way, in fact I think her pretty, classy look suits people very well and it's a sexy, authentic, classy look. The headphones feature a wrap-around style around the ear, meaning that the back of the ear There is actually a part of the earpiece that actually goes down to the back of the ear, near where the spine meets the the cranium.

What this type of allows for is basically a non-slip, no-fall technological design, which basically means that these Powerbeats are not really going to fall out of your ear no matter what you do. I've found it's almost impossible unless you actually pull them out of your ear to get them to come out. This makes them extremely enjoyable for exercising and lifting heavy objects. basically, doing a very, very intense run, so if you're someone who's looking for that, you're set here as far as the design goes, they offer a Lightning port for charging, report that there's something called Fast Fuel on these headphones that really really I really like them and when they are completely dead, if you plug them in for five minutes you get 30 minutes of use which you would be surprised at how practical and really useful it is and I found that going in and saving the day several times.

So with that being said, battery life is actually one of the things I would say they shine quite a bit at and you don't really have any issues unless you're someone who constantly leaves them out of the box, so functionality wise , these headphones are one. One of my favorite parts about them is the fact that they actually have a pause, play and rewind function on the side, the Beats logo also comes in second place as one button is a multifunctional button, this is more useful about you think. As for functionality, the Beats have a Beats logo on the side that doubles as a pause, play, and rewind button.
It also has a volume control on the top of each earbud. This is really good because when you're basically training or doing anything. so are they really lifting hard or really running hard, you can actually fix and control the volume and control the playback of your song by just touching the earbud, the volume control on the top is basically the one behind and the one on the on the front it's basically turning the volume up and down and then on the side the Beats logo basically presses once playback is paused and then if you double click on it it will go to the next song.
So guys, from there, the headphones are definitely a winner when it comes to functionality. I haven't seen many competitors on the market that have all these different features in actual earbuds, making it a truly wireless experience, the only issue with functionality here guys, which the airpods and Powerbeats struggle with, but What I'm focusing on the Powerbeats for this video is that the Powerbeats don't actually have a way to turn themselves off if you leave them out of the battery case, this is extremely annoying, however, it's not something I've learned how to do. think because it is something uncontrollable.
The reason I say this is because at the end of the day the headphones need to be turned off when placed in the battery case so they can charge, but at the end of the day there really isn't an on/off button, so the Problem I've had with these is that if you're using them and forget to put them back in the battery case, you may find yourself picking up a dead pair of headphones and this is annoying because what happens is you. I'll pick them up, go exercise, and then they'll shut down. The fast fuel is helpful if you put them in the battery case very quickly you will get an extra 30 minutes which most workouts are 30 minutes to an hour maybe two so for functionality though Guys, this is where the Powerbeats really lack moving on to sound quality.
Guys, these headphones sound great, these will be the Beats by Right headphones, they're the Powerbeats Pro, so I'd be lying. If I didn't say that they have a very accentuated low end of the spectrum, which means that your base and your pop and wrap and Country, um, maybe not necessarily too country, but your musical genres like that will shine here, the Powerbeats Pro. In In my opinion, they have been modified a bit so that they are not necessarily your stereotypical Beats by Dre headphones, what this means is that these headphones actually have a pretty decent balanced sound.
I would say that rock and stuff like that sound decent, um or they're going to shine, like I said, it's the low end songs, but I would personally say that these headphones really help you get immersed in the music and get back up and running very quickly. The earbuds actually stick to your ear quite a bit, which I wanted to save for the sound. The quality because it relates to that is that they stick in your ear quite a bit, which helps them stay in your ear, but this also helps with the fact that the air, the Powerbeats Pro really have an immersive experience like the airpods. it sticks in your ear, but it's not that much, the electric crap really sticks in your ear in a way that helps you really immerse yourself in your music and feel like it's really immersing you, this also helps with noise isolation, for which, for the sounds, the sound quality, guys, I would give you Overall, this is a seven, a solid seven, if you're looking for something that has a very balanced sound and helps you with basically everything possible and that the listening experience to be enjoyable across all spectrums of music, I could hit the brakes, but If you are someone looking for music with a very low accent, everything is set here.
Overall, I'd say the Powerbeats Pro if you're looking for music like Celine Dion or Josh Groban or stuff like that. They're based on Opera or classical music or treble in the mids and that's really what you focus on or you're an audiophile, these definitely won't be the headphones for you, but if you're someone like me who really likes the pop and rap and stuff that you're just getting into and it's bass heavy with vocals and some beats and stuff like that. This will be your best bet and I'd say you're really going to do it. I like these headphones, so as far as sound quality with phone calls, you might be wondering if I want to talk to my mom for four hours and not have to have my phone on me, how does that sound based on my experience so far?
I've heard that the actual noise around you doesn't really cancel out, so I definitely wouldn't put them in a loud coffee shop and I definitely wouldn't take them to an amusement park and plan to have a great conversation with your friend unless they're okay to hear. most of what happens behind you. I've heard that the noise, audio quality is pretty good and the other person had no problems hearing me, which means I think overall using them for phone calls should be nothing more than a Breeze, moving on to connectivity, guys, the W-2 chip in these headphones actually allows you to connect them in about five seconds, if that's an almost idiotic test that allows you to essentially open the battery case of these headphones near an iPhone or an iPad or even a Macbook and you will be greeted by a screen that will allow you to connect with just one click, so overall this brings me to the end of today's video, you may be wondering what I recommend in all of my videos.
I do the same. thing where I give you guys, um, types of use cases and then my general opinion. I'm going to start with my overall opinion here, guys, yes, I recommend these headphones if you're a guy, if you're a fitness junkie, or someone who works out constantly and really wants that immersive, deep, really adaptable, enjoyable, noise-isolating experience. With the ability to control everything on the headset and not have to worry about any of that, you're in the right place and I would. I definitely recommend these headphones overall. Guys they are on sale right now I think for 180 for 280.
I think they could be closer to 200 but for that price I would definitely buy them and at least give them a chance, thanks everyone for looking. This has been Justin here with digital life and I'll see you next time.
