I think it's good for them to see the officers they know in a safe environment. I know it's fun for them to see all their gear, but it's also a good experience for them to know that they are safe people to approach if they need help when they are out and about. Sickles was actually our building substitute for the last few years and worked a lot in my room. from the days when I didn't have a side job, I just came and worked with my kids and just from your own experiences it's amazing and he told me you guys are trying to get a program going and then we said I know you came to Billy Mills and then to summer school, so it just brought the two together.
