The Best Chrome Powder Coat - Ep 136 - Super Chrome Plus

Looks like it's time for a new intro video. I might start working on one of those now, um, new video. I thought, I already had a video like this. I know I have some comparison videos of Chrome and Super Chrome, but no. I don't have one of Super Chrome plus which is the newer variant of Prismatic with Clear Vision on top, so when making this set of wheels we will prime them first with a cardinal primer just to fill in some of the pits that were there on these wheels if you're making them with Chrome, obviously you want them to look as mirror-like as possible, so you want to have a really smooth base.

To place your Chrome outdoors, we will usually spray the wall a little to make sure I'm getting a good flow, make sure I have a good cloud. , put it in the oven to let it flow, not to flow, you'll actually see in this video how far it goes, it's right where it starts to gel, but it's still you know it's not a powder that doesn't float at all and then you take it out of the oven and you know, of course, wait for it to cool and spray another light coat on top, what it ends up doing is giving you a In my opinion, a much smoother finish, much coverage better and it will also prevent it from getting too heavy because you are only applying two very light coats.

You can see that they have flowed. I mean, they're definitely reflective. But they have not flowed completely. You know, they just started to gel. Well this oven isn't perfect, even so these front wheels run a little hotter than the rear ones, it's not a huge difference but you can see it's like a matte finish that's not really reflective. Now we will launch a second one. light layer over these two, of course, you'll get that high reflective level, you know, nice, smooth, perfect finish. I know it turns like a super dirty gray.

If you don't make it transparent, it may take some time, but it has been done. like there is no chemical resistance, there is no abrasion resistance, there is nothing, so you have to put a varnish on it. Many people complain that the varnish dulls the finish and I admit that, but this is one of the

best

combinations I have seen. Of course, Hacinda has excellent Chrome, but it seems that once again, when you clean it, it loses that mirror-like finish. Super Chrome plus with Clear Vision has actually been pretty good for me. You probably know it. keep using it until something better comes along many people ask me if there are better

and clear combinations out there and although at different times I think there have been I think right now this is probably the

best

on the market and I swear taking some free time has done making videos is quite difficult.

I struggle with all kinds of things that I never had a problem with in the past.
