wizard, military, and 4th of july gnome crates

and then if you go from side to side, it's about 11 inches wide, so you can measure and go that route. All I did was place this on a piece of cardboard and that's how I got it and eventually I'll have a template for myself. I'm going to make a template for those graduation hats, so I cut one of these out and you don't have to worry about the mark there because it will hide the marker mark and if it ends up showing, you can always do It's a very interesting story about how it got dirty, like It probably would have been on a mission or something, so there will be a little bit of dirt, so if you see just a hint of brown somewhere, it's probably been gone for quite some time.

A little bit, so it's from his adventures, so once I have the hat completely made, I have the top and bottom and this part here and there, I take a pipe cleaner to give a little bit of a finished edge to this part. right here, so there's a pipe cleaner inside, so I'll show you that too, so all I do is along the longest edge of my felt, I'll run a drop of glue and it helps if I have it there, here we go, It is not like this. working, I will say again that it has to warm up a little.

More Interesting Facts About,

wizard military and 4th of july gnome crates...

I forgot to turn it on, so I'll skip to this here. I tell you, I got excited about it live, so that's probably why it didn't get as hot. Then I'm going to take and trace one of these and one of the pants and what I did was I made a little cross in the center, which is just I'm going to cut right where that cross is because it's going to fit over the top of the hat. the bottom is going to have a little bit of a different thing here, this one I'm going to mark as well because I want the hole in this one so it can go over the pool noodle, so I cut it out, made the little dot, so I know. to cut that little cross there and if you're worried about the marks on this, you can always put the marks down so they're hidden, so I just want to create this x on this because it's going to go over the top. so it's going to end up there like this and that just creates that hole where it's going to go, that's what I'm doing on this one too, this one's going to go on the bottom, so when I put it like this this, when I stick it in, they're going to be facing inwards to create that hole to Let the pool noodles in, vegeta.

I keep the videos on my page. I don't like to get rid of them because I like to refer to them and watch them so that they are there for as long as Facebook allows it. Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. I'll put them up too. Put the video on my youtube so I don't know when I'll do it. It'll probably happen next week though. I've also been preparing for the farmers market, so all I'm doing is sticking this in a little. There we go, it doesn't really take much. Sometimes I think I exaggerate. just because I feel like it's going to need it, so you look for where this is going to go or something like on one of these bars and that's where you're going to stick some glue on it and then that's going to hold it in place, okay?
wizard military and 4th of july gnome crates
You'll find where this one goes and everything, even if the inside is a little messy, you won't see it because that's where the pool noodle will be, so you'll just want to keep it in one place there. come on and I don't know about you but I have a lot of little threads so I'm going to put a bead of glue around this outside edge because I'm going to pull this top down so just pulling it down as far as I can and then I'm trapping that edge with that glue and you may find out later that you need a little bit more, but that's okay, so watch that little bit around the edge as this overlaps.
Okay, and since my glue is working now, I'm going to put it in there. I'm going to show you that you're just going to apply a drop of glue and put your pipe cleaner on. There we go, and once it's down, you're just going to take a little bit and put it on the other side of your pipe cleaner and then you're going to roll it up as best you can, try not to burn yourself and then you might have to hold it down a little bit to let it dry. over there. it just gives it a little bit of stability there and then I just cut it out and if you want you can decide where you want on the front and back of this hat, I just improvise it and they always end up turning out like this.
I'm going to line up one of the long pieces here and I'm going to put a drop of glue there and that will give you the starting point and you'll see how that's already starting to look like a hat. So you'll see this fold shape and that's where I'll know where to put it and I'll also put a little bead of glue around this outside part and leave it a little bit loose. because I want the hat to be able to tip over and I think when I made my template I got to where it tips over quite a bit and it automatically starts to tip over, okay look how it already wants to fold over, that's what I want to make it work really well as a witch hat and I want I mean if you wanted it to be nice and straight you could fill it in to keep it nice and straight, but I like to have that natural curve on that hat, so all I'm going to do is put a drop of glue on the edge here, just hold it by a second where I want it and then my stitching will come back here.
I'm going to go ahead and bend it over to where the hat sticks out just a little bit, so it looks like it's falling off. I'm going to take a little piece of scrap because I want a piece for the bottom. If my life starts taking too much time, I'll just show you the details and then we'll move on to the next one unless you guys are willing to stay with me, I think I mentioned it on my other live, you know, I have a hard time stopping you. I could talk to you for hours and hours, I think I have more. of my lives is at least one or two hours and I tried.
I always try to put the glue on the felt or fabric instead of putting it on. If you put the glue directly on the pool noodles, it will melt it, so I always try to put it on. the felt or whatever I'm using, I tried to do that first and then let me see here for the body or the robe. I should say that I fold this and this is lengthwise, so you're going to need the total. three three pieces of felt for the

wizard

and then once I fold one end a little bit, I put a drop of glue on it.
You don't have to go all the way to the top because you'll have some extras. I'm just going to overlap it slightly so that it forms a cylinder and then I also grabbed a little rubber band because what you do is you put this on top and then you're just going to gather it on top so that I would have a little bit left over and at first when I did this I wasn't I wasn't sure if my elastic band was going to be big enough and I thought it was going to break because they are only for kids' hair, but it worked. it's fine with me and you can play with things and make the gathers go where you want them to go and then what I did was I cut, I cut off a little bit of that extra and this is all going to be ready. anyway inside the hat, so that's his robe and then also that little piece of pipe cleaner that's going to go around his hat right at the top, so I'll put a dot of glue on it and I always try to get to where the seam is. of this is gathered into the seam on the back of the hat, this is how I made the witch hat and made the selected hats, Gandalf's hat.
I love how they look. I like the little detail this gives and you will. I only have a smidge left over so I usually trim it to make it fit, but I mean there's not much left to complete the hat and then I ended up with these beards. Well, it's the faux fur I bought on Amazon. I bought this one and then also can't wait to use this one. This one will be fun, fun, but I also bought some big sheets from Walmart and I think people said they have them at Joanns. and hobby lobby, so whatever works wherever you go shopping, they have them in craft stores, they have quite a few places and for a long time I was cutting faux fur wrong and it left me looking like an amateur haircut, so I started watching some videos and they really show you the best way to do it so what you do to get that really nice beard edge is you turn it around so you just have that backing on the top and then you just cut the backing off , you don't cut, you don't cut the fur, some people use scissors, I'm not very good at that so I just use my little knife and all I do is cut that backing, there we go and that gives it that nice edge where it's not cut straight across, so I'm going to go ahead and glue it to the front of the robe here at the top, so that's his beard on the hat, you're going to stuff all that other stuff in there, you're going to make sure that the back seams are good there and then what I do, since I have a little tip on my glue gun, I'm going to put that tip. inward and I'm going to run a little bit of glue right where the hat meets the body and that will hold it in place and then I take one of those little wooden beads and find the center of my beard, wherever I want your beard to go. nose and then I'm going to glue the nose on it, it looks so cute guy who writes, I gravitate towards red, it's something in the family, although I color mine just so I can be alone.
So I can have grandma's hair color so there's another

wizard

right there and I mean you can add arms all you would take is some felt and then these are little foam rollers and before you glue the hat on you would cover These are with felt and you can use some of these for the hands, the beads for the hands or I have a box. You can get them at Walmart. I don't remember how much they cost, but I also use them for my hands. If you have the arms there, I would leave a little more felt and glue it that way, you can bend the arms.
I've even seen people cut them to make their arms any length they want. And I think with Gandalf's I cut a very thin strip so that he would have his hair hanging in the back too. I didn't want this one, so I finished it there, so the next one. I'm going to make it, he already made it and it would fit so cute in a little gift basket. I also bought these at Walmart in their craft section. I want to make some for the farmers market, so I already have some with my son. Things from my father-in-law's Father's Day.
I'm going to do the same. He was in the army, so he was very clean shaven. When he got out of the army, he let his hair grow and grow and grow. and he has jet black hair, so I thought he was going to wear this here. I ended up getting the black one from Amazon. I also bought a blanket. I don't see where it is, but I have a blanket and I almost used that one, but I thought no, I'd turn jet black, so this one is a little curly, a little crazy, but he didn't want to shave for a long time afterwards, I can't blame him, so I thought it was going to be like this. work, it's going to work great for him, for the

gnome

of him that I make, so I started, I was going to use the smaller one, I changed my mind because I didn't want these little boots, I wanted them, I want to do something like that. like a little

military

gnome

and I ended up going to the doll section at Walmart and they have my life size doll or whatever her name is and they have really cute accessories, well I found these little boots and I thought they could work like

military

ones.
The boots well, when I bought them, they have a little piece of fabric that you can fold because most of them are little girly dolls, so I thought, "Oh, I want that, but not in pink, so I'll leave it hidden inside." shoe and these shoes would look a little silly on the smaller one so I thought I'd go next size up for the large so this one will work great. I don't want that pink there, so I cut some of that off. camouflage material I tell you that I use this material, I have a lot. I used it on my uncle's gnome and now find I'm using it on several others.
I used it on my dad's gnome and now. I'm using it with my sons-in-law, it's just a nice fabric, you know, for the military, it's very pretty, so what I did was I just cut a little strip and along this back there's a little groove, like this I'm going to put a little dot of glue next to that slot and then I'm going to put this right next to it where I can get a little bit more into that place, then I'm going to wrap it up and have a I feel like it's going to fit quite a bit, but it's good.
I'm going to put another dot of glue on the other side and where I wrapped this, I'm going to take some scissors and stick that excess inside. boot so it looks like there's a seam on the back of that boot and then I'm going to line the inside with a little bit of glue and I'm going to stuff all this fabric inside so all this material goes inside. start, it's going to give a nice little detail, I love that I can modify things to make it work for what I need, so watch how it gives that little detail that will be really nice because this is the material that I'm going to make yours with. hat so that it fits perfectly to the fabric of the hat and then since this is empty, I don't want to have just one stamp over here because it's not going to give me much stamp there, so I'm going to take just a little bit. styrofoam and push it in, it still gives me a little more room, so what?
What I'm going to do is break out a little more just to fill that space and then that will give me a nice area to stick my pool noodles . I already have it done, doesn't it look nice? It's going to look amazing so all I did was grab the sock. I'm going to stretch it very well because the small one will pass very well, but the large one sometimes only takes a little. a little more muscle and where that toe seam is, I make sure to put it along the edge so it fits a little better and you can cut this extraokay, so I made a little bit here and then the beard, so I'm going to figure out where I want the front to be.
I think I'm going to have the front where this big white piece is like that. The back has blue, more blue, so I'm going to put some glue on the beard, put it up and I like it to go down and he has a very long beard, so I'm going to see where this goes. I hit it, I squeeze it into that hat, it's such a cool noodle that usually doesn't require much OK, so I know where I want it. This will come back here. This fur is a little longer, so it doesn't matter how far that hat goes. below will show some of that, there we go, yeah, okay, so I'm going to squish, squish, that in, let's see, there we go and there are some bumps in there that will keep your pool noodles where you want them, there we go. to turn it around a little bit, here we go and with this one it gets very heavy so I'll probably have to add some shoes or something because this hat gets very very heavy with it and anyway I have leftovers of this so I can cut it in half and I can wear these little booties with them.
The extra fills that space so you don't have to fill them with anything. I hope I don't go too fast for you, I love you. how can I use the extra bits, oh, and before I forget, I should probably add his nose, although he wants to come out, so just for the fact that he wants to come out, I'm going to go ahead and glue on. On top of that, sometimes crafts don't turn out the way you originally planned so all you do is add lib and make it work, so since it won't cooperate with me I'm just going to add some glue and it will work there.
Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and add his nose. I tell you that nose just highlights it. I prefer the large ones and these ones here are medium sized. If I had bought the larger ones, it would have seemed normal, but this is normally one. I'm running out. I usually use these on the really big ones and I didn't want them to run out so I'm using what I have. Well, it's time to add a pair of shoes. He will look so cute and the shoes will give him a little extra so he can sit up a little more.
He will be able to sit alone. Whoever originally thought of wearing these little shoes is amazing. I ended up finding out from some of the videos I watch, they just look so cute wearing the shoes that some people have made comments saying they can't find them at their Dollar Tree stores and I think it's because everyone uses them for gnomes, so isn't that adorable? ? You can even add that it was like they cut it out a little bit and then I can glue it, glue it to that or glue it to it, I can put a little bit of glue in there and I'll probably also glue this little bit here to the hat, that way it's not too heavy, so I have two points where it is stuck.
I'm finding so many strings, so what do you think I love how they all turn out? I could make some napkins, use them as a base, you know, to decorate this one, put it there, it looks so adorable, I have one more of these baskets, so I'll probably think of another one to make, but for now I'm just going to do a summary, I know it's going to be two hours long and I appreciate everyone sitting back and watching and staying with me here and I hope some of you try some, show me pictures. I love watching everyone and seeing how theirs turned out. because as you work many times your brain keeps working and your craft ends up going in a completely different direction, like with this military gnome that I made here, you know originally I was going to have this band like this and how it was working, he doesn't want one, I want I mean, it turned out so cute, I think he'll love it, what do you guys think of all of these and are they lightweight?
Wow, they are very light! I'm going to try Take this to where it shows everyone. My table isn't level either, so I hope you guys loved this video as much as I love putting it together and then with that, I think I'll log out as soon as I get 600 followers, I'll pull out two names and do my best. to make more lives. I don't feel like I make enough this Saturday the 12th. I'm going to be at the farmers market, maybe I'll go live from there and I'll show you what my table looks like and let you share my experience with me.
Let me know what you think and I'll post pictures of these there too. I always post finished products and go ahead and do that there too. I'll see you next time, I think it's my favorite of all the ones I did tonight, thank you all for watching with me and I'll see you next time. I hope you have a great week, bye.
