I Fixed Minecraft LEGO Sets...

Mar 07, 2024
Lego makes Minecraft

sets

, but despite all the similarities that Lego and Minecraft have, these

sets

are quite inaccurate, so in this video I'm going to fix the Lego Minecraft sets to be really accurate for the game. This video is sponsored by World of Warships, but more. about them later here is the game plan step one buy the sets uh yeah I need the sets to fix them step two build the sets and step three fix them to show Lego that I'm a better designer Just kidding, I love you Lego, very ok i got the

lego

sets now i need to build them starting with the creeper ambush a small set with a simple play feature and what is that a red and yellow creeper?

Can someone explain to me how this makes sense? Mid-explosion, no vines turn white when they explode anyway, the main thing to fix in this set, besides whatever this abomination is, is to make everything one block tall, as you probably already You all know, to make a Lego cube, you can stack five of them two by two. plates, but instead of playing along, Lego decided to give it five different levels of sand. Well, it's time to fix it. I started by laying down a layer of dirt, sand and water to outline where everything will go, then I can use these transparent blues. bricks to make the water look much better and then used a combination of studs and plates in tan to make sand with a nice texture, then I added these translucent blue tiles on top of the water to finish it off and man it sure is an improvement.

Starting with a blue plate, I then built up more sand and poured it into the earth using a brown brick with two layers of green plates on top. It makes a realistic dirt block, so I made two layers of dirt and then added a small pot to the side. Well guys, if this egg generates the chicken, you have to subscribe, you know what to do. I finished the build with a breaking table, some stone and a piece of charcoal and then, to replicate the piece of sugar crane going to the beach, I made this weird thing. common thing with minifigure hands and a bar piece and no I didn't include the random iron piece which definitely wouldn't spawn there in the actual game once this is done our first inaccurate Lego Minecraft set is

fixed

but before we move on to fix the next one. set, let's talk about the sponsor of this video, world of warships, don't click because world of warships is a free PC game that you can play alone or recruit and your friends to help you fight.

Tell everything for free and thanks again to World of Warships for sponsoring this video. Well, let's move on to the mushroom house set first. I built it. Alex acquired it. Well, aside from the things not being a block tall, there's only one major problem with this set. Can you detect it? well if you guessed mushroom cow then you are right mushroom cows only spawn in mushroom biome not mushroom forests so let's fix it. There isn't any

lego

color that matches the earth color in this biome, so I'm just going to go. Using what Lego did and using dark bluish gray, I started by laying down a layer of brown plates, but quickly realized that if I want each block to be five plates high and there have to be two layers of dark gray, there can only be three plates that are brown and are one brick high, so instead of plates at the bottom I use bricks to make the outline, then I put a layer of gray plates and raised the height of the island to two blocks in some places I also put some bridge plates. down instead of tiles two at a time so I could place these little mushrooms that spawn in this biome, then I built one of these flat mushrooms and used white and tan pieces to make the broth a little more interesting than just using white and with that.
Ready, I can move on to making the mushroom house. I started by building a 3x3 mushroom block for the top and to add more of a Minecraft look, I used these posts one by one instead of plates, then I moved up to size, I used these 2x4s. bricks to make a lid for the size to be built and then I got distracted and added a quick ladder to the mushroom stock staggering these plates in this brown color with more plates and white, makes it look like a ladder which is much more accurate than this huge thing , so I decided to build the interior because it will be much easier now than with the mushroom walls in place.
I used the back of tan masonry bricks to make precise birch planks and then added a Minecraft bed that Unlike the Lego design is actually the correct length, a furnace crafting table and a torch to Turn it on. Then I started on the sides of the mushrooms, it took me a long time because every time I added a white bolt I had to use a bunch of little red plates. fill in the spaces and it was very boring so while I finish I'll say thank you very much for 100k look what's on my bulletin board, let's see how long until I have to remove this diagram to make room for something else Okay, now that the walls of The mushrooms are finally finished, the mushroom house is complete and we can place our mushroom cow in this newly arranged house.
Okay, two sets are done, but we still have two left and they are much bigger. Let's start with this. It's supposed to be some kind of base in the sky, but there are so many things wrong with it. This door is literally two by three instead of Minecraft's one by two. Nothing is actually one block tall and how are we supposed to build this ceiling in the game? I have a lot to fix, let's start with the base and work because I really don't know how I'm going to manage to build something like this that looks good and is also game accurate.
I started by smoothing these out. two 16 by 16 sheets together and then added a layer of brown bricks on the outside to make it look like dirt blocks, then added another small layer to make it look like it was tapering at the bottom, topped it off with some stone spikes and Man, it looks so much better than this. I also made a little smaller island like the farm on the set and built a little composter which looks a little more like the game than the Lego design and now I have to build a tower, you know what?
The real problem here okay, now that those horrible creatures are gone we can move on to the last set, the modern treehouse, once I finish building this

fixed

version I will try to build it in the game, okay let's get started, I will would list. All the problems with this set, but I don't want the video to be an hour long. I definitely don't have enough parts to build a completely new one like I did with the other three sets, so I'll use the original frame. of the trees to build my new one, I started by removing all the grass parts I left with the technical parts of the tree, then built up the frame a bit and added base plates to the bottom to make it a complete. tall block, the problem is that if I use these green base plates, if they show on the edges, it won't work because the bottom layer is supposed to be brown, but if I add a layer of two wide brown plates around the edge, then actually works pretty well, then I added this crop using some dark tan bridge plates, a patch of pods to have a little bamboo farm like the original set did, then I added a small beach area with some sand and water which I removed from the other sets.
Since I have like five water blocks in total, to finish the base layer I also made a little lava pool because it looks cool. So I started with the house. I wanted to keep the same color scheme so everything looked like the original set. but I really don't like the strange stack design because half the sides look bad when built like that, so I went for a large room on the lower level that can be accessed by these stairs. The white block is a representation of softness. quartz and burnt orange which I decided is supposed to be orange terracotta I built the house and added the things inside like this ladder a really accurate Minecraft bed a double chest which I built using a bridge plate on the small stand some ovens and a crafting table I also added the official Lego design for the shelves because unlike the rest of the sets, they are actually a full block tall and look pretty accurate as is.
I also added these glass windows on bridge plates to center them on the block so they really are like Minecraft glass panels and once that was done I added a small door and then made a sort of modern arch to make it less boring than just a white box. I used tan pieces to make it look like a strip of birch and once finished, I added the roofing some fencing and then a giant platform on top made of orange terracotta to act as a sort of storage room. I also built this little staircase to get from the bottom floor to the top floor.
Okay, it's leaf time. I don't like leaf weather here. come on as I was going all out on this build and taking literally everything apart to make sure I had the right pieces. I just used the existing sheets that came with the set as a base. Now I'm not going to lie, I actually built the leaves before I built the house, originally I was going to build both the big piece and the smaller one, but after making the small one I realized I wasn't going to have enough pieces, I built the minor using a bunch of small green pieces. plates mixed with these bright green flower pieces and rounded 1 by 2 plates for texture.
I also stole some of these vines from the sky base to add to the edge of the trees and it was finally complete. This is my first time not mechanically building since I had an audience, so if you enjoy this and want to see me make more builds like this, maybe I'll even redo the summer wave of Minecraft sets, comment below, but don't worry if You didn't like this. Anyway, I have another mechanical build next, now it's time to build the fixed modern treehouse in the actual game. I loaded up a super flat world and got to work.
There were literally no issues with building this and everything worked perfectly. I only put together four legos. stats to be really accurate for the game and they really turned out great. Also consider subscribing to help me reach my lofty goal of 500k by the end of summer.
